CAROL COSTELLO, CNN ANCHOR: All right, if you're flying today, hold on for just a second because it's time for our "Eye on the Sky." He's right here, Rally Caparas.
Any delays today?

RALLY CAPARAS, AIR TRAFFIC SPECIALIST, TRAVELOCITY.COM: I'll tell you what, Carol, it feels so good to come in on a Friday morning. I know a lot of people are going to be traveling today. Finally I get to say it's going to be an excellent day for you, especially in the northeast and along the East Coast.

All the way from Boston to Atlanta, barring a little bit of fog here in Atlanta this morning, you should see excellent conditions all day long, delay-free schedules. It's going to be one of the better, as Chad told you, one of the better travel days that we've seen in a long, long time.

Down in Florida, however, it's not so -- they're not so fortunate down there. Tampa, Orlando, Miami and Fort Lauderdale airports, they will face some delays later on this afternoon and evening, 30 to 45 minutes. It could be as much as an hour, just like it was yesterday, a lot of thunderstorm activity later on.

Up in Pittsburgh this morning, they will also see some low lying clouds, some fog, some 30 to 45-minute arrival delays as a result. But that will be gone later this morning for on-time schedules thereafter.

Chicago, shifting a little further west, they'll have good conditions at the airport, but the wind is going to be blowing really hard. The Windy City lives up to its reputation. You can expect 30 to 45-minute arrival delays later on this afternoon and evening from those strong gusting winds. But the weather, like I said, should be pretty decent.

Then you go a little further west, intermountain west. Las Vegas and Phoenix and Denver, you'll see 30 to 45-minute arrival and departure delays as thunderstorm activity kicks up later on this evening between 4:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. Mountain Time out there.

The rest of the country looks absolutely fabulous. It should be a really good day for travel, Carol, for a change.

COSTELLO: That's good, because I'm travelling today.

CAPARAS: Well good for you. Where are you going? COSTELLO: New York.

CAPARAS: Excellent conditions for you.

COSTELLO: Nice to hear. Thank you -- Rally.

CAPARAS: Sure.
