CAROL COSTELLO, CNN ANCHOR: Time for a little more business buzz.
Hound's tooth is in this year, don't you know that?

While you are dunking that doughnut in your coffee, Krispy Kreme is making its way around the world.

Let's head live to New York for the Nasdaq site and Sasha Salama.

Good morning.

SASHA SALAMA, CNN FINANCIAL NEWS CORRESPONDENT: Good morning, Carol.

When you think of doughnuts, you usually do think of dunking them in coffee. And when you think of coffee, you usually don't think of people over in the U.K. But guess what, Krispy Kreme is planning this October to open a Krispy Kreme in none other than Harrod's Department Store. The high-end retailer based in London will get its Krispy Kreme outlet in October. The store is going to be opening at 7:00 a.m. It will have a separate entrance so that people in London will be able to get that sugar fix on their way to work.

Krispy Kreme decided to open in London because, get this one, the growing popularity of coffee shops in Britain. Again, what happened to tea drinking over there? And the fact that there is no direct competition in the doughnut market in the U.K. So Krispy Kreme has been very popular in the U.S. We'll have to see how it catches on over in London at Harrod's Department Store -- Carol.

COSTELLO: Yes, I wonder if Starbucks could be far behind, unless there's already a Starbucks in the U.K., I don't know.

SALAMA: You know that is a very key question. And if there is, I'm sure there is going to be some hot competition there. So we'll have to wait and see.

I do just want to quickly mention that we're going to be watching the markets today. We're expecting a slightly higher open. Cisco, though, expected to lose some ground after disappointing Wall Street after the close with its latest numbers -- Carol.

COSTELLO: All right. Sasha Salama reporting live from New York this morning.
