CAROL COSTELLO, CNN ANCHOR: If you are starting the work week at the airport, it's time to check in with our "Eye on the Sky," Travelocity's air traffic expert, Rally Caparas.
Good morning, Rally, any flight delays to tell us about?

RALLY CAPARAS, AIR TRAFFIC SPECIALIST, TRAVELOCITY.COM: Good morning, Carol, yes indeed there will be some flight delays. The northeast is going to be cruddy once again. I think it's the same situation as we've seen for the last two weeks now.

New York City, Philadelphia and the D.C. Metros will all see somewhere in the neighborhood of 45 to 60-minute arrival delays early. There will be low clouds and rain this morning and then isolated thunderstorm activity will limit flight routes into and out of those major metro areas later on in the afternoon and evening.

In the South, Atlanta and Charlotte airports, 30 to 45-minute arrival delays because of low clouds and fog early, but that will improve by the midday hour and we're hoping that the rain will stay to the north and give way to on-time conditions and schedules thereafter.

Tampa and Orlando in Florida, Miami and Fort Lauderdale, they'll get left out of the mix. I'm sure they're not sorry to hear that. Delay-free conditions early at Tampa and Orlando and then 30 to 45- minute arrival and departure delays will be a problem as seasonal thunderstorms kick off in Central and Western Florida.

And then Cleveland, Pittsburgh, Cincinnati-Covington up around the Great Lakes region, delay-free early, but they will see 30 to 45- minute arrival and departure delays as thunderstorms limit flight routes into and out of those airports.

And then Chicago's Midway Airport, they'll be -- they'll see a lot of increased volume today, the Hardware Show. Their annual Hardware Show is taking place there and that will mean 30 to 45-minute arrival and departure delays as the increased volume slows things down a bit.

The rest of the country looks pretty good. I'll be back tomorrow morning with the latest from Travelocity's "Eye on the Sky." Back to you -- Carol.

COSTELLO: All right, thanks a lot, Rally.
