CAROL COSTELLO, CNN ANCHOR: Was going to talk about something expected when it comes to air travel delays. Let's check in with our "Eye on the Sky," Travelocity's air traffic expert, Rally Caparas.
Good morning -- Rally.

RALLY CAPARAS, AIR TRAFFIC SPECIALIST, TRAVELOCITY.COM: Good morning, Carol. I'm still down here in Dallas and the weather around here seems pretty good right now. But up in the northeast, you're going to see some very foggy conditions to start the day out.

Boston, New York City, Philadelphia and the D.C. Metros, you can expect 45-minute arrival delays into those airports early and then there will be some thunderstorm activity. I think it's going to be the last day of the thunderstorm activity that they'll see up there. En route thunderstorms, that is, blocking routes to and from that major part of the country. Lots of airports, of course. And expect limited flight routes and 45-minute arrival and departure delays during the p.m. hours.

Atlanta and Charlotte, they'll see a lot of clouds, a lot of fog this morning and then thunderstorm activity will pop up throughout the southeast later on. And we're already starting to see spatterings of that. Thirty to 45-minute arrival and departure delays as a result throughout most of the day at those two airports.

Cincinnati and Memphis, you can expect 30 to 45-minute arrival and departure delays. Low clouds, some rain, thunderstorm activity off and on, limited flight routes, that'll be an all-day affair at those locations.

Houston's George Bush here in Texas, just south of us here in Dallas, you can expect 40 to 60 -- 45 to 60-minute arrival and departure delays first because of the low clouds, fog, but the thunderstorm activity is really going to fire up later on this afternoon and evening. We could see some severe stuff later on.

And then San Francisco on the West Coast, once again the marine layer will roll in. Low clouds, poor visibility on the airport surface, about a 500-foot scattered deck and then it whirls back out by about noon Pacific Time for on-time schedules thereafter.

But today will be the last day of any major delays. Tomorrow is going to be an excellent day for air travel nationwide. I'll be back in the morning with the latest from Travelocity's "Eye on the Sky." Carol, back to you.

COSTELLO: All right, many thanks, Rally.
