Water Spouts in Miami, Florida

CAROL COSTELLO, CNN ANCHOR: OK, we have these great pictures. We've had them like for two days now, but they are so great we want to show them to you one more time.
Chad, come on in here. These are water spouts in the Miami area. Tell us about this.

CHAD MYERS, CNN METEOROLOGIST: Actually happened yesterday about 7:20 in the morning. It was about a 17-minute water spout. It jumped over Miami Beach and then back into Biscayne Bay, and that's where you see it right there, it's in Biscayne Bay. Winds probably 75, maybe 100 miles per hour. Literally a thunderstorm-based tornado, but it did not touch land. It only touched water, so we designate it as a water spout.

And up came the spider and down the water spout. No, that's different. WSVN, our affiliate there, had some great shots. It was about 82nd or 83rd Street on up there in north Miami-Dade.
