CAROL COSTELLO, CNN ANCHOR: Now it's time to 'Pack Your Passport,' although, Jenny, Jenny Harrison is with us, and you know in talking about world events, I think most Americans just want to stay home. But if you go to Europe, it's not bad.
JENNY HARRISON, CNN CORRESPONDENT: It's not, and I mean you should never be put off traveling, should you?

COSTELLO: No.

HARRISON: Isn't this what we're always told?

COSTELLO: Exactly.

HARRISON: Not to give in.

COSTELLO: That's right.

HARRISON: Get out there.

COSTELLO: Exactly.

HARRISON: There's some wonderful weather out there. And of course the good news in Europe is that the heat wave that was so affecting the West, of course the temperatures are going to subside and we've got some pretty nice summer weather.

COSTELLO: Good, yes.

HARRISON: So let's start straightaway and I'll take you straight over to the weather wall. And we can actually have a look and see exactly what is going on across into Europe. So once you have that passport packed, you know the next step, indeed, head to the airport. And then from there we're heading across to Europe.

Now there is actually some rather different weather on offer this coming weekend for me. It's good, it gives me something extra to tell you about, and of course it is the rain across northern sections of Europe. But there is still some very pleasant weather out there to be had.

And let me show you, first of all, London. Temperatures quite a bit cooler than they were this time last week and also fairly cloudy on Friday and Saturday. But the sunshine returns again on Sunday, temperatures generally in the 70s. So very pleasant, indeed, for your sightseeing. Then we head further to the north into Stockholm in Sweden. What can I tell you? Well, I can tell you that we're going to see fairly cloudy skies and rain on Friday. On Saturday, more in the way of showers. On Sunday, the likelihood is we could even see one or two thunderstorms. But again, do not let that put you off.

Then we head to Paris. Now in fact temperatures here pretty much what we were seeing this same time last week, Friday, Saturday and Sunday. So pretty warm in the mid to high 80s and also pretty warm in the overnight hours.

Barcelona also enjoying some glorious sunny skies weather.

The summer really is continuing very nicely across much of Europe. Milan, still one of the hottest places, Italy. And then finally across to Hungary. Budapest, again, some very nice weather, some of the hottest weather through the eastern end of the Mediterranean.

So go prepared, take the usual amount of water, light clothing, sunglasses, sunscreen, you should have a wonderful time.

Carol, back to you.

COSTELLO: Hopefully so. Thank you, Jenny, we appreciate it.
