CAROL COSTELLO, CNN ANCHOR: We have Travelocity's Rally Caparas back on the phone. Tell us about those flight delays -- Rally.
RALLY CAPARAS, AIR TRAFFIC SPECIALIST, TRAVELOCITY.COM: Good morning, Carol. Well today it's going to be a touch-and-go situation for a lot of people, especially in the northeast. You saw on the map earlier, Chad was showing you some thunderstorms that were going to be moving towards the east.

New York City Metros and Philadelphia today, you can expect 45 to 60-minute arrival and departure delays. Low clouds, rain and thunderstorm activity will be limiting flight routes off and on there all day long so be prepared.

The D.C. Metros, just a little further south, they are delay free at the moment and they will stay that way until the afternoon hours. Then we'll start to see 30 to 45-minute arrival and departure delays develop there. Also, en route thunderstorms, mostly to the north of them, will be disrupting traffic flows at those airports along the mid-Atlantic.

Down in Florida, Tampa, Orlando, Miami and Fort Lauderdale airports, all delay free right now. But we're already seeing thunderstorm activity pop off the coast of Florida and that will equate to 30 to 45-minute arrival and departure delays in the p.m. hours. Just about all of the airports in the state of Florida will be affected by that.

Detroit, Cleveland and Pittsburgh, they're seeing thunderstorm activity move towards them right now. Forty-five-minute arrival and departure delays, scattered thunderstorm activity, blocked routes just about the entire day there.

Chicago O'Hare will suffer 45 to 60-minute arrival and departure delays. Low clouds, some rain and thunderstorm activity off and on, once again, all day there.

And then finally all the way out west, San Francisco International, 45 to 60-minute arrival delays, low clouds and fog, gusting winds. They'll even see some thunderstorm activity early that will improve by about noon Pacific Time. Should see on-time schedules thereafter.

I'll be back tomorrow morning with the latest from your "Eye on the Sky." Carol, back to you.

COSTELLO: All right, many thanks. Rally Caparas live on the phone this morning.
