CAROL COSTELLO, CNN ANCHOR: If you're heading out to the airport, hold on for just a second, Travelocity's air traffic expert Rally Caparas is here to tell us about possible flight delays.
RALLY CAPARAS, AIR TRAFFIC SPECIALIST, TRAVELOCITY.COM: Probable flight delays, Carol. Yesterday, we told you yesterday that you were going to see major delays in the northeast, well that happened. And sorry to tell you, it's going to happen again today. Here's how it's going to work for you today.

If you're headed into or out of the major airports up in New York Metropolitan area and Philadelphia today, you can expect something in the neighborhood of hour-long delays later on this afternoon and evening.

Looks like our graphics are slow. So keep up with me, I'm going to zoom through this.

It's going to be 45 to 60-minute arrival and departure delays. Those delays could double when we hit peak period, right around 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. Eastern, so be prepared.

D.C. Metros, delay-free starts this morning, but all three of those locations will see 30 to 45-minute arrival and departure delays. Lots of low clouds in that area, thunderstorm activity, limited flight routes. You know the drill; hence, you'll have some delays.

Down in Florida, Tampa, Orlando, Miami and Fort Lauderdale, they'll see clear skies for the most part. And then later on in the afternoon and evening, once again, seasonal thunderstorm activity kicks up and that means 30 to 45-minute arrival and departure delays. Nothing major, but still some delay.

Detroit, Cleveland and Pittsburgh, Chad showed you on the map, there's thunderstorms, just like yesterday morning, rolling through the region. You'll see 30 to 45-minute arrival and departure delays as a result of limited flight routes. But there will be improved conditions during the p.m. hours. We should see on-time schedules during those -- during the peak rush later this evening.

Dallas-Fort Worth and Houston Bush, delay free for most of the day. Then, like yesterday, they'll see some sporadic thunderstorm activity, isolated thunderstorms. Forty-five to 60-minute arrival and departure delays as a result.

And then out on the West Coast, San Francisco and LAX joins in on the game this morning, 45-minute arrival delays, low clouds, marine layer fog. It should improve by noon Pacific Time. On-time schedules thereafter.

I'll be back tomorrow morning with a much better "Eye on the Sky" report. Carol, back to you.

COSTELLO: We hope so.

CAPARAS: You got it.

COSTELLO: Thank you, Rally.
