Car Bombing in Najaf

ANDERSON COOPER, CNN CORRESPONDENT: We have some new reports just coming in to CNN. These reports coming from Tehran, Iran. According to these reports, the nephew, a Shiite leader, the nephew of Mohammed Said al-Hakim -- he is the high level Shiite cleric who was, there was a car bombing again on Sunday -- who survived that car bombing on Sunday. His nephew apparently has been killed in the car bombing in Najaf that occurred just a short while ago.
Again, these are very early reports. They're coming from Tehran, Iran. CNN has not independently confirmed these reports. We want to point that out very distinctly.

There has been a car bombing in Najaf. The numbers of those killed is not clear at this time, but according to reports coming from Tehran, Iran, the nephew of Mohammed Said al-Hakim, a high ranking Shiite cleric, has been killed.
