CAROL COSTELLO, CNN ANCHOR: If you're traveling this morning, it is time to check in with our "Eye on the Sky." Travelocity's air traffic expert Rally Caparas live on the phone with us right now.
Good morning -- Rally.

RALLY CAPARAS, AIR TRAFFIC SPECIALIST, TRAVELOCITY.COM: Good morning, Carol.

Well, it's back to work for most of us, and it looks like it's going to be a really tough day for a few cities in the northeast. Yesterday we saw major delays at a lot of cities up there. Today it will still be a wait for those of you headed into and out of Boston, New York City and Philadelphia. You can expect 45 to 60-minute arrival and departure delays. First, there will be low clouds, plenty of rain, poor visibility and then later on today you can expect en route thunderstorms to block routes into and out of those three major metropolitan areas.

Down in Washington, D.C., a little further south, they'll see 30 to 45-minute arrival and departure delays. The low clouds and the fog in the morning and then the en route thunderstorms will block routes into and out of those airports along the Atlantic seaboard also.

At Atlanta and Charlotte, we'll see 45-minute arrival delays early because of low clouds, poor visibility and fog, about a mile or so at Charlotte. And then later on as it clears up, we'll start to see some scattered thunderstorm activity around the southeast block flight routes into and out of these airports. Sporadic 30 to 45- minute arrival and departure delays as a result.

Down in Florida, Tampa, Orlando, Miami and Fort Lauderdale airports are all delay free right now. That will change as is typical for this time of the year. Expect 40 -- well let's make it 30 to 45- minute arrival and departure delays. Scattered thunderstorm activity the reason there.

Cincinnati, St. Louis and Houston airports, they're sitting along a weather front that's draped across the central and eastern United States. They'll see 45 to 60-minute arrival and departure delays, low clouds, poor visibility and scattered thunderstorms off and on all day long. Expect moderate delays. They'll be there all day long. Be patient, grab some coffee, folks.

And then on the West Coast, only San Francisco once again, 45- minute arrival delays, low clouds, marine layer fog. It will improve by noon Pacific Time for on-time schedules thereafter. Overall not too bad of a day, but it could be a lot better. I'll be back tomorrow morning with the latest "Eye on the Sky." Carol, back to you.

COSTELLO: All right, we appreciate it. Thank you, Rally.
