CAROL COSTELLO, CNN ANCHOR: Travelocity's Rally Caparas is here to tell us if there are any flight delays this morning.
RALLY CAPARAS, AIR TRAFFIC SPECIALIST, TRAVELOCITY.COM: Absolutely, you know there are going to be. But the good news this morning, folks, is every airport east of the Mississippi River, and that's a whole bunch of airports, dry, clear, beautiful conditions, cool temperatures and on-time flight schedules most importantly, except for one location.

We've been telling you about it for the last week, Newark's Liberty Airport will see 60 to 90-minute arrival delays all day long. And then when you get to 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Eastern Time, you'll see those delays almost double. Runway construction, Runway 22 Right, 4 Left, depending on the direction of the wind and which way it is blowing that day will determine what it's called, but that runway is going to be closed until September 28. So expect lengthy delays into, and I say again, into, not out of, Newark's Liberty Airport until the 28th of September. Be prepared.

Houston's George Bush, west of the Mississippi there are some locations with some delays today, delay free early. But 30 to 45- minute arrival and departure delays will be a problem during the late p.m. hours, during the evening rush, because of isolated thunderstorm activity limiting flight routes into and out of that major airport.

A little further west, Denver's airport, they'll see good conditions early, but later on this morning set in the Mountain Time Zone, you'll start to see 45-minute arrival and departure delays. Thunderstorm activity, limited flight routes into and out of that airport.

And then finally out west, San Francisco International, they'll see marine layer fog and low clouds, but it's going to stick around well into the p.m. hours. Usually burns off by noon. It's not going to happen that way today. It sticks around until later in the p.m. hours. Forty-five-minute arrival delays until an unspecified time. It's difficult to call it today.

I'll be back tomorrow morning with the latest "Eye on the Sky" -- Carol.

COSTELLO: All right, we look forward to it. Thank you -- Rally.

CAPARAS: Sure.
