CAROL COSTELLO, CNN ANCHOR: Operation High Five, that's what U.S. soldiers are calling their raid in Tikrit. The troops are also conducting raids in Mosul where they have also rounded up suspects, as well as weapons and ammunition.
For more, let's take you live to Baghdad and Nic Robertson.

Hello -- Nic.

NIC ROBERTSON, CNN CORRESPONDENT: Hello, Carol.

Well the -- there was an incident in Mosul late yesterday outside the city hall, an Albanian soldier was injured when a grenade was thrown at him. It was thrown at a group of Albanian soldiers. Albanian soldiers are part of the coalition here, albeit a small part, and this is the first reported incidents of we heard where an Albanian soldier has been injured. Thirteen Iraqis were also injured, many of them taken to the local hospital for treatment.

Operation High Five is ongoing around Tikrit. More raids overnight, netting a small amount of money, about $1,000 in Iraqi currency, and a small number of weapons, along with a handful of people.

We are told in Baghdad Iraqi police managed to foil what appeared to be an attempt to attack U.S. forces, discovering early this morning an improvised explosive device by the -- by the side of the road. They alerted a coalition patrol. The troops came along, detonated that improvised explosive device.

But if we look back at the last 24 hours or so, just in the Baghdad area alone there have been 22 attacks against coalition troops. And inside the city of Baghdad alone in the last 24 hours, 10 improvised explosive devices were used against coalition forces -- Carol.

COSTELLO: Nic Robertson bringing us up to date live from Baghdad this morning.
