CAROL COSTELLO, CNN ANCHOR: It's time again for a little business buzz. Do you speak Spanish? Well if you don't, you might not understand a few new commercials.
Let's speak a little Espanol with Carrie Lee in New York.

Ola (ph), or should I say buenos dias?

CARRIE LEE, CNN FINANCIAL NEWS CORRESPONDENT: I don't speak Spanish, but I understood that. And people who are fans of Salma Hayek and speak Spanish will appreciate her new ad campaign selling Coca-Cola. Now these television ads start today.

What's different about these ads is that Hayek is going to speak English as well as Spanish in an attempt to reach out to bilingual viewers. The premise here in the spot, she's in a swanky sort of Hollywood restaurant speaking English to some industry bigwigs. She excuses herself, goes back to the kitchen, eats a taco, drinks an ice cold Coca-Cola, sort of laughs with the chef and wait staff, speaks Spanish to them and then returns to the meeting. Tells her dinner companions that she's stuffed -- that she's -- or that she's watching her figure, rather. The truth is that she's just been hobnobbing a little bit. Returns to English when she's at that table once again.

So kind of a funny ad. Once again, rolling out today. The census has shown that Hispanics are the largest growing minority population. Coca-Cola wants to tap into that. So look for those ads later today -- Carol.

COSTELLO: Quick look at the futures before you have to go.

LEE: Look a little bit weak this morning. One stock we're going to be watching is Auto Zone. This is the largest auto parts retailer reporting profits after the bell for the recent quarter, so keep an eye on that stock.

COSTELLO: Will do.

Carrie Lee live from the Nasdaq market site.
