CAROL COSTELLO, CNN ANCHOR: And, Rally, I'm sorry, I know you are a Boston Red Sox's fan.
RALLY CAPARAS, AIR TRAFFIC SPECIALIST, TRAVELOCITY.COM: Gosh, I'm dying, yes.

COSTELLO: Stupid errors cost them the game.

CAPARAS: Well it seems to be the curse, but I don't believe in that.

COSTELLO: No.

CAPARAS: I truly believe the Red Sox will come back over the weekend. If they don't, tune in on Monday morning, you'll see a grown man cry, I promise. I've died a thousand deaths.

Anyway, travel this week, folks, or this weekend, it looks like an excellent day. The "Getaway Friday" that we call it, looks like really good conditions all the way from Boston, speaking of Boston, down to Miami, you should see good conditions. There may be some rain down in Miami and some wind up around New York, but it won't bother schedules today. It's going to be an excellent day to fly along the East Coast.

Up in the Great Lakes region, they'll see a little bit more complications. Detroit and Cleveland Hopkins Airport, they'll both be delay free until late this afternoon and evening. Right around 5:00 p.m. or so, you'll start to see some of the low clouds, strong gusting winds the main problem, and some rain to kind of foul things up. Expect 30 to 45-minute arrival and departure delays as a result.

Further west at Chicago's O'Hare Airport, they're going to see strong gusting winds all day, low clouds, some rain. Hopefully it doesn't mess with the game there tonight between Chicago and the -- and the Braves. But you can expect 45 to 60-minute arrival delays as a result of those conditions. That'll start right around midday or so.

Then out west in the Pacific Northwest, Seattle-Tacoma, the Mariners aren't playing so they don't have anything to worry about, low clouds, fog, visibility problems. That should improve later this morning in the Pacific Time Zone. Until then, expect 30 to 45-minute arrival delays. The airborne holding type, not -- you won't sit on the ground, you'll stay in the air.

And then San Francisco International, again, 45-minute arrival delays. Marine layer fog should be gone by noon Pacific Time.

I'll be back on Monday with a handkerchief, no, without the handkerchief.

COSTELLO: No, no, you should not even mention the curse. That's cursing you to mention the curse.

CAPARAS: I agree, no curse.

COSTELLO: OK. Thank you -- Rally.

CAPARAS: Thank you.

COSTELLO: Appreciate it.

CAPARAS: Bye.
