HEIDI COLLINS, CNN ANCHOR: We're going to check in now with our "Eye on the Sky." Travelocity's Air Traffic Expert Rally Caparas is here with the early word on flight delays.
RALLY CAPARAS, AIR TRAFFIC SPECIALIST, TRAVELOCITY.COM: Good morning, Heidi, fantastic weekend.
COLLINS: A lot of them?
CAPARAS: Not too bad. We saw a great week last week. And this week, we're going to start out the same way, especially in the East Coast. Let's go to the delays.
From Boston all the way down to Miami's airport today, and all of the major airports in between, you can expect to see good flight conditions, on-time flight schedules, again. Doesn't happen this often this time of the year, folks, so enjoy it while it lasts. All day and evening long you should see good schedules at all of the major airports, despite a little bit of rain down in Miami later on today, no delays, great news there.
Atlanta Hartsfield, when you push a little further inland, you will see some 30 to 45-minute arrival delays, low clouds and rain. Isolated thunderstorm activity will be a problem later on this afternoon and evening. But until it -- the rain starts, you can expect on-time schedules. So not too bad here in Atlanta.
In Texas, they'll see most of the delays today. Dallas-Fort Worth, 30 to 45-minute arrival delays, low clouds, some fog and then an en route thunderstorm or two will block the arrival fixes. That's how the airplanes get to the airport. They go to those points and then they turn towards the airport. Well, they'll be blocked a little bit by thunderstorm activity later on.
Down further south at Houston's George Bush Airport, 45-minute arrival delays, low clouds, fog, isolated thunderstorms. That'll be around the airport and on the airport proper later on today.
And then finally out west, San Francisco International, once again, they'll see marine layer fog roll in. It should be gone by about noon Pacific Time for on-time schedules thereafter. But until then, expect 45-minute arrival delays.
I'll be back tomorrow morning with a smile on my face because the Red Sox are going to beat the A's tonight.
COLLINS: Here we go. CAPARAS: And I'll have the latest "Eye on the Sky."
COLLINS: All right, very good. We'll just let you have that.
CAPARAS: Thank you so much.
COLLINS: All right, Rally.
