CAROL COSTELLO, CNN ANCHOR: If you are hopping a plane this morning, hold on for just a second, Travelocity's Air Traffic Expert Rally Caparas is here with possible delays.
RALLY CAPARAS, AIR TRAFFIC SPECIALIST, TRAVELOCITY.COM: Possible delays isn't the word. There are delays going on right now. We just had Chad Myers in the ear giving some updates, and there are delays in the East -- on the East Coast today. That -- excuse me -- that's not typical of what we have seen the last eight days or so.

But at Philadelphia and the D.C. Metros today, you can expect 45- minute arrival delays. There are low clouds, fog, poor visibility. Chad says there is zero visibility right now at Dulles. It's going to stay that way until later on this morning at those airports. Expect delays at Philly and the D.C. Metros until about 11:00 Eastern Time as a result. Things should clear up nicely and they should have on-time schedules later on today, so not such bad news. It gets better later.

Atlanta and Charlotte, we're going to see delays off and on all day long. Thirty to 45-minute arrival and departure delays. This morning it's going to be low clouds, fog and some rain obscuring visibility. And then later on, it will be isolated thunderstorm activity limiting flight routes into and out of those airports. It will mess with the arrival fixes, departure fixes, hence, you'll have delays.

Phoenix Sky Harbor Airport out west, they are going to see some low clouds and some rain later on today. Delay-free conditions right now, but later on you can expect 45-minute arrival and departure delays as a result of those isolated thunderstorms will obstruct some of their arrival and departure fixes also.

At Dallas-Fort Worth and Houston's George Bush airports, they are going to see dreary conditions for most of the day, 30 to 45-minute arrival and departure delays. The morning hours will see low clouds, fog and some rain. And then later on, they too will see some isolated thunderstorm activity pop up throughout the state of Texas and limit routes into and out of that entire state.

Then all the way back on the West Coast, San Francisco International and Los Angeles International will both see obscured visibility because of the marine layer fog that rolls in. It's going to slow things down by about 30 to 45 minutes until noon Pacific Time at both locations, and then it will burn off nicely for on-time schedules thereafter.

Overall, not as good a day as what we've seen over the last week or so, but it's not too bad either.

COSTELLO: That's looking at the glass half full. We like that.

CAPARAS: That's right.

COSTELLO: Rally Caparas, many thanks.

CAPARAS: Thank you.
