DARYN KAGAN, CNN ANCHOR: The California recall has given political cartoonists a lot to work with over the last few days. And joining us now is Pulitzer Prizer-winning political cartoonist Mike Luckovich of "The Atlanta Journal-Constitution" here to show us some of your very fun work.
MIKE LUCKOVICH, POLITICAL CARTOONIST: I wanted my initial cartoon, which I did yesterday on the recall, to be a sensitive, poignant cartoon. So can we show that cartoon?

KAGAN: Not to the tape, let's go to the cartoon. It's coming up.

LUCKOVICH: There it is.

(CROSSTALK)

LUCKOVICH: Let's see, it says -- you see Arnold at the podium there. He's grasped the microphones and an aide is saying, "Quit grabbing them. Nobody can hear your victory speech."

KAGAN: Making fun of the groping allegations.

LUCKOVICH: The groping, right, right. And this morning I brought my drawing pad.

KAGAN: We love it when you stop by with your drawing pad.

LUCKOVICH: And so I'll try and do another sensitive piece on the...

KAGAN: You'll go to the most sensitive place. While you're here, you'll create another recall themed cartoon for us.

LUCKOVICH: It's going to be tough to beat the grabbing the microphones. Doggonnit.

KAGAN: I have to think, Mike, this is like giving candy to a baby.

LUCKOVICH: It really is.

KAGAN: It's just so easy, this topic.

LUCKOVICH: I would actually like to thank the voters of California, just for what they've done for me.

KAGAN: They've made the next three plus years...

LUCKOVICH: It's going to be very nice.

KAGAN: Good. We'll let you get started right.

(CROSSTALK)

KAGAN: And we'll check back with you.

LUCKOVICH: Thank you, Daryn.

KAGAN: My pleasure.
