CAROL LIN, CNN ANCHOR: In Colorado, the preliminary hearing in Kobe Bryant's rape case resumes next Wednesday. Testimony by a sheriff's detective has been graphic. The investigatory testified that the woman's blood was found on the inside of Bryant's T-shirt, and the detective was asked by the defense if the accuser had bruises on her neck.
The judge summoned the lawyers to his chambers, after Bryant's attorney asked whether the woman's injuries could have been caused by having sex with three different men in three days.
CNN national correspondent Gary Tuchman is one of the hundreds of news people covering this celebrity case. Gary has additional details of the hearing.

GARY TUCHMAN, CNN NATIONAL CORRESPONDENT: For the first time we have heard the prosecution evidence in the Kobe Bryant case. A preliminary hearing the judge said would only last a day ended prematurely, after bickering between the lawyers. It will be continued Wednesday.
But here is some of what the prosecution said during this hearing. The prosecution said that indeed the 19-year-old accuser flirted with Kobe Bryant, and she does acknowledge kissing him on the mouth and on the neck, and says it was consensual. But the prosecution also says that's where the consensual acts stopped.
A detective took the stand, a detective who interviewed the accuser. He said that she told him that Kobe Bryant grabbed her by the neck with both hands, bent her over a chair and had sexual intercourse with her. They showed pictures to the judge of injuries to her private area and to her jaw.
But the defense attorney got a chance to cross-examine the detective and said, if Kobe Bryant was holding her by the neck, did you see any red marks, any scratches or any injuries to her neck? And then detective said no.
We can tell you that the prosecution brought up one other piece of evidence that perhaps was the most valuable evidence they had during the day. They said that blood on Kobe Bryant's T-shirt was the blood of his accuser.
As we said, the hearing will continue Wednesday. Ultimately, the judge will have to decide if there is probable cause to bring this case to trial.
