CAROL COSTELLO, CNN ANCHOR: If you are heading out to the airport this morning, hold on for just a second, Travelocity's Air Traffic Expert, Rally Caparas, is here to tell you about delays.
RALLY CAPARAS, AIR TRAFFIC SPECIALIST, TRAVELOCITY.COM: You know I thought about it, that means they are already delayed at least one second, right, you said to...

COSTELLO: That's right, to hold on.

CAPARAS: Anyway. I know, that's not funny, especially since you are used to getting delayed much longer than a second.

It's not going to be nearly as bad as it was yesterday at some locations. We did see some lengthy delays. The wind that we promised you about up in the northeast, it did cause some significant delays. You'll still see some delays.

Newark and LaGuardia, very, very susceptible to wind-related delays, strong gusting winds out of the north and west. Expect 45- minute arrival delays later on this afternoon and evening. There will be some low clouds, a possibly of some rain, as Chad told you earlier, but we won't see anything exceed an hour if you are headed into those airports. So be ready for some moderate delays there.

Philadelphia, same situation, delay free early, then later on you will see 30 to 45-minute arrival delays. Parallel runways don't bode well when the wind starts blowing. It kind of creeps the airplanes closer together. They need more spacing for separation and safety, obviously.

Atlanta Hartsfield, we'll see some 30-minute arrival delays here because of strong gusting winds. Beautiful skies here in the south end -- or the southeast quarter of the United States, but you'll still see some very short-term delays into Atlanta Hartsfield.

Seattle-Tacoma, same old story, they've been seeing it for the last week or so, very strong gusting winds, lots and lots of rain, as Carol and Chad have been talking about this morning. It's going to mean 30 to 45-minute arrival delays programmed by the FAA. So plan on that, that's going to be a guarantee.

And then San Francisco and Los Angeles International, once again 30 to 45-minute arrival delays. Marine layer fog should be gone by noon Pacific Time for on-time schedules thereafter.

Should be a beautiful day for everybody except Seattle-Tacoma in the west.

I'll be back tomorrow morning with the latest. Carol, back to you.

COSTELLO: All right. Thank you -- Rally.

CAPARAS: Sure.
