CAROL COSTELLO, CNN ANCHOR: Time now, though, to check on what's making headlines overseas in this morning's 'Euro Edition.' Tony Campion live for us in London.
And Princess Diana making the front pages again.

TONY CAMPION, CNN CORRESPONDENT: Princess Diana is not just the front page, yesterday 11 pages in the "Daily Mirror," today, just the 10. This is, of course, the ongoing serialization of the book by Paul Burrell, the former Royal butler who you'll have heard all about.

The front page, Diana's divorce letter, we're centering on. We've got to that part in the story where, you know, the divorce comes through with Prince Charles.

And what the big issues, bits of this quite funny and a bit of this quite sad, really. One of the big issues for her was whether or not she could keep the title HRH, which is of course Her Royal Highness. And you know I mean it's not the kind of thing that's going to get a lot of sympathy from people at large just out on its own, isn't it, but until you realize that you know there's such a lot of snobbery associated with this. And the fact that she was not an HRH but all of her former friends and former family were HRHs, or similar titles, would have meant she would have had to bow and curtsy when she met. Can you imagine having to meet your ex-husband and have to curtsy before him? I mean it sounds like something out of the 17th century. It's ridiculous.

But she -- you know a bit of surprising support from surprising forces on this. Princess Michael of Kent, the name you'll probably know, she is a kind of distant Royal in as much as she is a cousin of the Queen and also, interestingly, a cousin of the Duke of Edinburgh as well, the Queen's husband. Work that out if you can. She wrote Diana a letter, we learn in this book, and she says I insist that it would cause me the greatest embarrassment, please do not ever consider it. I've always admired your courage and strength. So she did get a bit of support from unlikely quarters.

And also from her own family. Prince William, we also learn he didn't want to be king. I think we sort of knew that anyway, but this book is going on about that. And there's quite a nice headline across two pages here. I'll try and show you. He says that, he was only age 14 at the time, don't worry, mummy, I will give you your HRH back when I'm the king, so she could look forward to that or at least the implication...

COSTELLO: Now that's sweet -- Tony. CAMPION: ... at the time. Isn't that sweet?

COSTELLO: That is sweet. Anything more in there about Paul Burrell,...

CAMPION: Last night at the (ph)...

COSTELLO: ... because I understand the butler, the guy who wrote the book and you know is responsible for all of these headlines, he's going to be on 20/20, I guess, on ABC. Did you know about that?

CAMPION: Is that right? Yes, well, he's not -- I didn't know about that. I mean I'm afraid we can't see that on this side of the Atlantic, but he's not shy of the odd media appearance. He was, I think, also on our ITV news channel yesterday talking about, you know, this serialization.

And let's face it, I mean you know after all he has been through, he wants to make a pound or two. We were talking about the fact that he's made a pretty penny out of this. And of course the question is has he shot himself in the foot, really, because people are slightly -- I don't know how many people are still going to be reading 10 pages after the, well, fourth, fifth day, I've even lost count of that, that this has been in the "Daily Mirror." Will people still go out and buy the book, give me a few, aye?

COSTELLO: I'm sure in the United States they will. I'm positive he's going to make a bundle here, so we'll see.

Tony Campion, live from London, thanks very much.
