CAROL COSTELLO, CNN ANCHOR: Time now, though, to check on what's making headlines overseas in this morning's 'Euro Edition.' Hala Gorani live for us in London.
Good morning, Hala, did something knock Princess Diana off the front pages there?

HALA GORANI, CNN CORRESPONDENT: Actually, something has. A few stories have. There's no real consensus on what the lead story is today among British newspapers, the ones that we have had a look at.

The "Daily Mail" is featuring a special pull out section on Concorde. As you know, of course, and I know you were speaking with our Paula Hancocks, today is the last flight for Concorde across the Atlantic. And the "Daily Mail" is treating its readers to this pull out with a map and all that kind of thing and interesting facts and figures. Apparently, British Airways has served 583,000 bottles of champagne on Concorde since 1976. Krug was the most popular brand, although for the rich and famous, the vintage was of course changed every month. You can't get too used to a certain type of champagne, it gets boring.

COSTELLO: Yes.

GORANI: Doesn't it?

COSTELLO: Yes.

GORANI: As you know, Carol.

Now another story, and this is two of the best selling broad sheets in the U.K., "The Daily Telegraph" and "The Independent," both featuring a fish on their front page. And the reason for that is because there is a 10-year study under way and 3 years into it a study of the underwater world and oceans and seas, scientists are discovering four new species of fish every single day. And so far, they have discovered 500 new species of fish and they are saying that 99.99 percent of the underwater world is unexplored. And so the kind of the things we might discover, well right now we don't know, and it seems there are more fish in the sea, if anybody was any doubt about that.

And I heard you say about the British madam.

COSTELLO: Yes.

GORANI: This is something that's on "The Daily Mail's" front cover, and also on other broad sheet covers, but perhaps we don't see her picture as well, so this is why I am choosing this one. Now according to "The Daily Mail," the madam was sentenced to four years in prison for operating a vice ring. She -- minus time served. She served a year and a half, so she's got a few years left, maybe six months to a year if she behaves well in prison. But according to "The Daily Mail," she's made $15 million from her vice ring. Plus she's got book deals, probably, lined up on her way out of prison, maybe even a Hollywood movie. Anyway, so tons of cash. If she's out in six months and behaves well, she'll have some money to spend.

So I don't know if we have time to talk about Diana, a quick word on her.

COSTELLO: Sure, we always have time for that.

GORANI: All right. Here we go, the "Daily Express" is saying Paul Burrell is just a liar. This is according to the "Daily Express, it's not our opinion here. And this is a Kensington Palace letter written by Paul Burrell a few months after Princess Diana's death saying I will never tell my story, sell my secrets or betray my boss signed Paul Burrell and featured by the "Daily Express."

And the latest installment of Paul Burrell's book, Diana's nine men. So you see, apparently, if that letter is actually genuine, he didn't really stay true to his word.

Carol, back to you.

COSTELLO: All right. Hala Gorani, reporting live from London, we appreciate it.
