HEIDI COLLINS, CNN ANCHOR: Let's go ahead and check in now with our 'Eye on the Sky,' Air Traffic Expert Rally Caparas from Travelocity joining us this morning.
Things looking OK out there?

RALLY CAPARAS, AIR TRAFFIC SPECIALIST, TRAVELOCITY.COM: Yes, ma'am. Things are looking great, at the moment, and it looks like it's going to stay that way for most of you, especially in the northeast, where you've been beat up over the last three or four days. Lots of rain, lots of delays, a different story today.

Boston, New York and Philadelphia, clear, dry. It's not quite dry yet in some of those areas, but it will be by the time air traffic builds. Good conditions all day long, on-time flight schedules, excellent news in the northeast.

The D.C. Metros and Atlanta, however, this morning seeing still some effects of the humid air that's pushed offshore. You're seeing some low clouds and fog this morning. It's going to create 30 to 45- minute arrival delays until later on around 11:00 Eastern and then everything should be clear and dry for on-time schedules this afternoon and evening, so great news in the east.

Down in Florida, however, Orlando, Miami and Fort Lauderdale airports will see their typical weather for this time of the year. Some volatile conditions, possibly thunderstorm activity. It'll block flight routes into and out of those airports. Right now Orlando seeing some dense fog. Expect 30 to 45-minute arrival delays there this morning. And then later, all three locations will see 30 to 45- minute arrival and departure delays as a result of those thunderstorms. So keep that in mind.

And then up in Chicago, the Windy City, they are going to see some wind today. They are delay free early. Later on this afternoon and evening, the winds kick up, force a less-than-favorable runway configuration. They reduce the arrival rate, the amount of airplanes that can land at that airport per hour. That's going to create 30 to 45-minute -- actually, 45-minute arrival delays because of the runway configurations.

And then on the West Coast, San Francisco will see, as you saw on Mr. Marciano's weather map, plenty of weather, plenty of rain, low clouds, fog all day long. Forty-five minute arrival delays as a result.

The rest of the country looks great, and tomorrow looks even better.

I'll be back on Monday with the latest -- Heidi.

COLLINS: Sounds very good. Rally Caparas, thanks so much.

CAPARAS: Thank you.

COLLINS: I like it.
