CAROL COSTELLO, CNN ANCHOR: If you are heading out to the airport this morning, hold on, it's time to check in with our Air Traffic Expert, Travelocity's Rally Caparas.
Good morning -- Rally.

RALLY CAPARAS, AIR TRAFFIC SPECIALIST, TRAVELOCITY.COM: Good morning, Carol.

I'm sorry, I thought we were going to see some more Victoria's Secret models already.

COSTELLO: That's coming later.

CAPARAS: Good, I'll stay tuned.

Anyway, delays today, folks. I'm sorry to tell you, it's going to be another rough day for air travelers headed into the busy northeast today. Boston's Logan Airport won't get beat up as bad as the others, but they will still see 30 to 45-minute arrival delays as a result of those strong gusting winds reaching 30 and 40 knots today. The limited ground stops means that some airports that are awaiting for departures into Boston will hold airplanes on the ground to allow for the volume to land under those circumstances.

Now Newark and LaGuardia airports, you saw three and four-hour arrival delays yesterday. It's going to start out one to two-hour arrival delays this morning. It's already started. Very strong gusting winds are forcing less-than-favorable runway configurations, and that's probably going to double as we get towards the peak period later on this afternoon and evening. So be prepared, folks. Bring something to read, make some friends. It's going to be one of those days if you are headed into New York City.

Philadelphia and the Washington Dulles Airport, you'll see 60- minute arrival delays today. Gusting strong -- gusting winds will force a single runway operation at both of those locations and that reduces the arrival capacity, hence, you'll have lengthy delays. So be prepared there, also.

The rest of the country in the midsection looking great. It's going to be a wonderful day to fly until you get out to the Pacific Northwest where Seattle-Tacoma will see 30 to 45-minute arrival delays. Low clouds, rain and fog, reduced visibility all day long.

And then San Francisco, they'll start the day delay free. However, later on this afternoon in the Pacific Time Zone, you can expect 45 to 60-minute arrival delays. They'll see plenty of rain and lots of wind and delays with that.

The other airports I haven't mentioned are going to operate just fine on this busy getaway Friday. I'll be back tomorrow, I'm sorry, on Monday morning with the latest 'Eye on the Sky.' Carol, have a great weekend.

COSTELLO: Yes, how could you forget the weekend was coming?

CAPARAS: I don't know how I did it.

COSTELLO: Thank you, Rally.
