ANDREA KOPPEL, CNN ANCHOR: So who do you think dominated the editorial cartoons this week? That's right. The man from Neverland. We are tuning in again this morning.
Here's a look at the parenting class from the Indianapolis star's Gary Varvel, things every parent should know. Do not let your child play with matches, run with scissors and spend the night with Michael Jackson.

MARTIN SAVIDGE, CNN ANCHOR: But it was not all the king of pop. Mike Luckovich of the "Atlanta Journal-Constitution" is in the holiday mood already, singing Christmas carols. "Grandma got run over by a reindeer." But wait. Look who the reindeer is, it's the Medicare bill, giving a ride to Congress and AARP.

And speaking of which...

KOPPEL: Drum roll please.

MIKE LUCKOVICH, EDITORIAL CARTOONIST, "ATLANTA JOURNAL- CONSTITUTION": That would be nice if we could have a drum roll.

KOPPEL: We can do it like this. We're low-tech here at CNN.

LUCKOVICH: Perfect. Perfect.

KOPPEL: So?

LUCKOVICH: OK. Well, OK. Now, a lot of times, these top -- these voter choice things are really tough issues. But I was rewarded this morning with Michael Jackson being the top story.

SAVIDGE: Well, you knew. Come on.

LUCKOVICH: But, you never know, really. Right. Right.

SAVIDGE: Tbilisi.

LUCKOVICH: Tbilisi would have been a tough one.

LUCKOVICH: So this is the cartoon. Michael is in bed with a turkey, and the turkey is saying, please just cook me!

And he's so much fun to draw, the turkey and Michael Jackson. So it's great. KOPPEL: This has to be -- I mean, the Michael Jackson story. We were talking with an ethicist earlier on our program who was saying the media is trying and convicting Michael Jackson in the press, and not in a court of law. But for cartoonists, this has to just be a field day.

LUCKOVICH: Well, it is. Because I think he is tried and convicted of just being weird. And so to just have someone so weird out there, and then allegedly in trouble, is really just the greatest for a cartoonist right now.

KOPPEL: Were you torn over ideas for this morning's -- obviously you could have drawn anything, but...

LUCKOVICH: Well, but Andrea, I knew that the Thanksgiving holiday was coming up.

SAVIDGE: That's what I like. The holiday sense of mentality you were able to bring.

LUCKOVICH: Something festive. It really was an easy choice this morning.

KOPPEL: Well, it is a wonderful cartoon. We can hold it up again.

LUCKOVICH: Well, all right.

KOPPEL: Are we going to see this in the "Atlanta Journal- Constitution?"

LUCKOVICH: No, it says CNN. I do this special for you all.

SAVIDGE: We call this exclusive.

LUCKOVICH: But if people want to see more of my cartoons, they can go to ajc.com. That's the newspaper's Web site.

KOPPEL: What's happening at the Luckovich household for Thanksgiving?

LUCKOVICH: We're going to actually cook a turkey. We thought we'd try something different this year.

KOPPEL: Well, happy Thanksgiving to you.

LUCKOVICH: And to you, Andrea, and to you, Martin. Thank you very much.

SAVIDGE: Great to have you this morning, as always.

KOPPEL: Thank you.
