CAROL COSTELLO, CNN ANCHOR: If you are flying later this morning, stay right here for just a second, our air traffic expert, Travelocity's Rally Caparas, live on the phone now with possible travel delays.
Good morning -- Rally.

RALLY CAPARAS, AIR TRAFFIC SPECIALIST, TRAVELOCITY.COM: Good morning, Carol. I've got a quick small world story for you. I'm sitting in a business establishment yesterday afternoon talking to a gentleman and the phone rings. He picks up the phone and then hangs up a few moments later. The person on the other side of the line was you. I was amazed. What a small world.

COSTELLO: It was me?

CAPARAS: It was you, yes. I'll tell you about it later.

Anyway, delays...

COSTELLO: I don't remember that.

CAPARAS: Let's talk about the delays, folks.

Newark, LaGuardia and Philadelphia got beat up yesterday by delays. They got -- they saw two and three-hour arrival delays. Well the wind is going to kick back up later on this afternoon after a delay-free morning. And you can expect 60 to 90-minute arrival delays once again. The winds and the runway configurations won't handle the wind and that means long delays. So be ready later on this afternoon and evening for those delays.

D.C. Metros to Miami, there will still be some wind around the D.C. Metro area, but the volume won't allow for the delays. So you should see pretty good conditions and on-time schedules all day and evening long, once again. But I heard Chad say there is some snow heading that way on Friday, so enjoy it while it lasts.

Detroit, Cleveland and Pittsburgh, mostly just very, very strong gusting winds for a second day in a row. You can expect sporadic 30 to 45-minute arrival delays as a result, but it will be a very bumpy ride, so keep your seat belts fastened for safety.

On the West Coast, Seattle-Tacoma, 30 to 45-minute arrival delays likely throughout the day. Low clouds, some fog in the morning and then rain and wind gusting up to about 25 knots later on this afternoon and evening. It'll keep those delays going into the afternoon and -- I'm sorry, into the later evening hours.

And then San Francisco, another place, they saw four and five- hour delays yesterday, folks. It was a hard day for them. They have had about three or four days, very difficult days in a row. Today, 45-minute arrival delays as a result of those conditions and that will linger on into the afternoon hours, also.

The rest of the country looking pretty good.

I will be back tomorrow morning. And, Carol, I'll talk to you about that weird, weird story I just told you about.

COSTELLO: I know, it's just too early for me to try to figure that out right now. But we'll talk.

CAPARAS: Had something to do with -- had something to do with a car, let's put it that way.

COSTELLO: I know what you are talking about.

CAPARAS: Yes.

COSTELLO: Thanks -- Rally.

CAPARAS: Bye-bye.
