CAROL COSTELLO, CNN ANCHOR: If you are traveling this morning, hold on for just a second. It's time for our 'Eye on the Sky,' Air Traffic Expert Travelocity's Rally Caparas.
Good morning -- Rally.

RALLY CAPARAS, AIR TRAFFIC SPECIALIST, TRAVELOCITY.COM: Good morning, Carol. I'll tell you, thank goodness this is happening this week and not last week. The air traffic volume is right at about 50 percent of what we saw during Wednesday and Sunday last week.

And as a result, we should see mostly delay-free conditions at the D.C. Metros. The lighter volume helps out. But later this afternoon and evening, you will start to see 45-minute arrival and departure delays. Some low clouds, rain and even some snow is possible in that region so beware.

A little further south, Charlotte and Atlanta, 45-minute arrival and departure delays are likely. Now folks, keep in mind, this is all being very optimistic and hoping that not a whole lot of ice gets dropped over there in Charlotte. But 45-minute arrival and departure delays are going to be the norm. Low clouds, rain and then possible icing later at Charlotte. Chad says icing. I'd probably bet on the icing. We'll keep you updated on -- well, I'll be back tomorrow morning to tell you more about that. It will be there still tomorrow.

Chicago O'Hare delay free. Forty-five to 60-minute arrival and departure delays are likely later during the p.m. hours. Low clouds, rain and snow.

St. Louis and Memphis, expect 45-minute arrival delays as low clouds, some rain and very dense fog is a problem right now at both locations. But they will see improving conditions this afternoon and evening.

Then on the West Coast, San Francisco, once again, 45-minute arrival delays, low clouds, fog. Should be gone by the early p.m. hours for on-time schedules thereafter.

The east is going to get blasted tomorrow. I'll be back in the morning with you, Carol, in the studios with the latest 'Eye on the Sky.'

COSTELLO: All right. Thank you, Rally.
