CAROL COSTELLO, CNN ANCHOR: OK, now to the travel delays. Air Traffic Expert Travelocity's Rally Caparas live on the phone.
Good morning -- Rally.
RALLY CAPARAS, AIR TRAFFIC SPECIALIST, TRAVELOCITY.COM: Good morning, Carol.
Well, they have finally dug themselves out of the snow up in the northeast. Boston's Logan Airport, they saw two and three-hour delays yesterday as they removed most of the snow. And it looks like things are going to be operating pretty smoothly. From Boston all the way down to Miami, and all of those major airports in between today, excellent conditions, on-time flight schedules all day and evening long. But that's going to change, as Chad showed you a few moments ago, on the weather. Here come the clouds, the rain and the delays for tomorrow, so beware.
Chicago O'Hare, you'll see 45 to 60-minute arrival delays there all day long. This morning, low clouds and fog, poor visibility the problem. And then later on, the rain will force a less-than-favorable runway configuration as their land and hold short operations won't be able to be utilized as efficiently. Hence, you will have delays lasting into the evening hours as that rain moves in.
St. Louis Lambert Airport, expect 30 to 45-minute arrival delays, low clouds, mist, fog, poor visibility and rain all day and evening long there.
Minneapolis-St. Paul Airport, they are delay free and they will stay that way until the late morning or early afternoon hours. Then some low clouds, snow and departure flight de-icing will become problems there as that snow builds. And those delays could be as long as 60 to 90 minutes as we hit the evening rush period between 4:00 and 8:00 p.m. in the Central Time Zone.
And on the West Coast, San Francisco Airport delay free this morning. But they, too, will see some rain and some southeast winds which forces a less-than-optimal runway configuration there. Forty- five-minute arrival delays as a result during the second half of the day.
The rest of the country looking pretty good.
I'll be back tomorrow morning with the latest 'Eye on the Sky.' Carol, back to you in the studios. Have a great one.
COSTELLO: All right. You too. Thank you, Rally.
