CAROL COSTELLO, CNN ANCHOR: If you are flying this morning, want to bring you up to date on possible air traffic delays. Our Air Traffic Expert Travelocity's Rally Caparas live on the phone for us.
Good morning -- Rally.

RALLY CAPARAS, AIR TRAFFIC SPECIALIST, TRAVELOCITY.COM: Good morning, Carol.

Well, I'll tell you what, up in the northeast, it seems like the delays are never going to end. Yesterday, they saw major delays because of all of the weather that was rolling through the area late last night, that is.

Now today, Boston's Logan Airport, 45 to 60-minute arrival delays will be likely throughout the day. Rain, wind, poor visibility, very strong winds. As a matter of fact, they are seeing 30 and 40-knot winds this morning all along the northeastern coast, so expect delays at all of those airports.

Especially at Newark and LaGuardia airports this morning where the rain, the winds and the poor visibility, well, it's the wind that is forcing less-than-favorable runway configurations. LaGuardia has already started to see one to two-hour arrival delays and Newark will see those as we get later into the day. So major delays into the northeast once again.

A little further south at Philadelphia, they will see something in the neighborhood of 45, possibly even 60-minute arrival delays, as the strong gusting winds reduce their arrival rate at the airport. Parallel runways and these strong gusting winds don't work well together, and so they will have to cut down the amount of airplanes that arrive there each and every hour during the day.

Chicago O'Hare over the Windy City, they, too, will see some gusting winds force less-than-favorable runway configurations at that city. And that will mean 45 to 60-minute arrival delays, at least through the first part of the day. It could let up by the time we get to the evening rush. Keep your fingers crossed.

And then on the West Coast, San Francisco International, they, too, will see some 45-minute arrival delays this morning. Low clouds, some marine layer fog will roll in. It should be gone by about noon or 1:00 Pacific Time for on-time schedules thereafter.

The rest of the west looks good.

I'll be back tomorrow morning with the latest 'Eye on the Sky.' Carol, have a fantastic day.

COSTELLO: Thank you. You too. Rally Caparas.
