CAROL COSTELLO, CNN ANCHOR: Travelocity's Air Traffic Expert Rally Caparas live on the phone line right now to tell you about possible travel delays.
Good morning -- Rally.

RALLY CAPARAS, AIR TRAFFIC SPECIALIST, TRAVELOCITY.COM: Good morning, Carol.

Well, it looks like the east is going to be off the hook today as far as delays are concerned. Not too often has it happened over the last couple of weeks. From Boston all the way down to Miami today, you are going to see pretty good conditions and on-time flight schedules along the immediate coastline.

Now a little further inland, at Atlanta Hartsfield-Jackson, you can expect a delay-free morning, but that will change during the early afternoon. Possibly even later this morning, you'll start to see some low clouds, some fog and then even some rain enter the picture later on in the p.m. hours. But visibility is going to be a problem all day. Expect 45-minute arrival delays as a result.

In the Great Lakes region, Detroit and Cincinnati-Covington airports, they are delay free this morning and should stay that way until about 11:00 in the local time zone, then 45-minute arrival delays will be a problem. Low clouds, rain and then their strong gusting wind which will harass most of the Great Lakes region. It will be a problem there.

Chicago O'Hare, the Windy City, along with Midway in Chicago, expect 60 to 90-minute arrival delays, low clouds, rain. That wind is going to force less-than-favorable runway configurations at both locations, hence, you will have very lengthy delays once again.

And the Minneapolis-St. Paul Airport, expect 45 to 60-minute arrival delays. Low clouds, snow, gusting winds there also. They could have some improvement late in the p.m. By the time we get to the evening rush period, we could see on-time schedules or as close to on time as you could expect under those conditions.

The rest of the country is looking pretty good. I'll be back tomorrow morning with the latest from your 'Eye on the Sky.'

COSTELLO: All right. Thank you, Rally, we appreciate it.
