CAROL COSTELLO, CNN ANCHOR: If you are traveling this morning by air, our Air Traffic Expert Rally Caparas from Travelocity Business joins us live by phone from Dallas.
Good morning -- Rally.

RALLY CAPARAS, AIR TRAFFIC SPECIALIST, TRAVELOCITY.COM: Good morning, Carol. It sounds like the movie theaters are going to look more like airport terminals with all the people hanging around outside getting tickets. Great movie.

Anyway, in the northeast today, Boston's Logan Airport, expect 45 to 60-minute arrival delays. You'll have yucky weather. That's the best way to describe it today. Low clouds, rain, lots of gusting wind. It will reduce the airport's arrival rate each hour. That is, it will reduce the amount of airplanes that can land there each hour.

Newark and LaGuardia, 60 to 90-minute arrival delays. Once again, low clouds, rain, windy conditions forces less-than-favorable runway configurations. Then they have to reduce the amount of airplanes there also.

Philadelphia, they will have a little bit better conditions, but it won't be much better, 45-minute arrival delays, rain, wind and poor visibility. IFR conditions all day long, instrument flight rules. That's when the pilots have to rely on their cockpit instruments to get on to and off of the ground.

Miami and Fort Lauderdale down in south Florida, you can expect something more like spring-type weather, 30 to 45-minute arrival and departure delays off and on all day. Low clouds, rain and thunderstorm activity limiting flight routes into and out of the state.

And then up in the Great Lakes region, Chicago O'Hare, they will be delay free to start. But later this afternoon and evening, you can expect 45, possibly even 60-minute arrival delays as the wind and the runway configurations kind of tangle things up for the evening rush period.

But everything west of Chicago looks like it's going to operate pretty good and on time.

I'll be back tomorrow morning with the latest from your 'Eye on the Sky.' Carol, back to you.

COSTELLO: All right, many thanks, Rally. TO ORDER A VIDEO OF THIS TRANSCRIPT, PLEASE CALL 800-CNN-NEWS OR USE OUR SECURE ONLINE ORDER FORM LOCATED AT www.fdch.com
