CAROL COSTELLO, CNN ANCHOR: Are you struggling for last minute gift ideas?
Well, why not give the gift of health?

Joining us now with some holiday gifts for your health conscious friends and family, Lisa Drayer.

Good morning, Lisa.

LISA DRAYER, NUTRITIONIST: Good morning, Carol.

I have some great gift ideas here.

First, we have the Cuinsinart Turbo Convection Steamer.

COSTELLO: Ooh.

DRAYER: Yes. Carol, this is for people like you and I, because it's nice and simple and there's a convection fan, so the food heats up pretty quickly and evenly, so you don't have to sit there and stir. And it helps to retain all those water soluble vitamins in the vegetables that would otherwise get leached into the cooking fluid.

Then we also have the Miso Spray. I love this. It's similar to a hair spray. But the bottom...

COSTELLO: A Miso Spray? Yes?

DRAYER: Yes, you fill it with your own olive oil. But I like it because when you spray it, you're only getting 10 calories. So that's like a pretty low cal olive oil as opposed to, let's say, 120 calories per tablespoon.

COSTELLO: What a great idea. Where do you get something like that? Just at a department store?

DRAYER: Actually, it's on the Web at Miso.com or I found it at Bed, Bath & Beyond.

COSTELLO: Oh.

DRAYER: So you can pair it with a nice olive oil and there you have it.

And also we have the new Mayo Clinic cookbook. And there's a delicious recipe in this for fresh shrimp spring rolls for only 99 calories.

COSTELLO: Are they easy to make, though?

DRAYER: Well, that's the thing I was going to tell you, Carol. The recipes in here, they're a bit lengthy. So I would try them on a weekend when you have a little bit more time, because they each have...

COSTELLO: Yes, I'm all for Rachel Ray's 30 minute meals.

DRAYER: There you go.

COSTELLO: She's my idol.

DRAYER: Right? They're so quick...

COSTELLO: On to the rest of the ideas.

DRAYER: Right. By the way, I want to show you these angled measuring cups from Oxo. It's really neat because you can just look inside instead of having to look on the side to see how much you have to fill them up.

COSTELLO: Cool.

DRAYER: Then we have fitness ideas. A pedometer is a great idea for a beginner. It's really nice because they can track speed and distance. And the newer ones track the calories burned, which is always a nice motivator.

Also, an exercise mat. I love this because you can do sit-ups and pushups, you know, in the comfort of your own...

COSTELLO: And take it to yoga class.

DRAYER: There you go. And, you know, watch it while -- watch CNN, rather, while you're exercising in your living room.

Also, Collagevideo.com, you can get a great selection of videos. They have everything from pilates and yoga to hip-hop and funky aerobic dancing. And the last two ideas I have, one is a membership to Fruit of the Month Club. So, someone who enjoys fruit and wants to get something nice and seasonal delivered to their home, you can go on the Web. There's deliverydelights.com, also, gotfruit.com.

And last but not least, private cooking classes for domestic goddesses like us, Carol.

COSTELLO: Oh, sure.

DRAYER: But seriously, and they'll come into your own home and they can teach you or you can go to your local cooking school to see. There are private chefs that are offered there and some will even do the shopping and the cleaning.

COSTELLO: Yes, but it's pretty pricey, isn't it? DRAYER: Those are the more expensive ones, those last two.

COSTELLO: So if you really, really like the person, get them those gifts.

DRAYER: There you go.

COSTELLO: All right, Lisa Drayer, thanks for the ideas.

We appreciate it.

DRAYER: Thank you.
