CAROL COSTELLO, CNN ANCHOR: Jenny Harrison is here for 'Pack Your Passport.' We're going to talk Santa this morning, because you know he is in Laughland (ph) preparing for the big trip.
JENNY HARRISON, CNN INTERNATIONAL WEATHER: Yes. He must be so busy.

COSTELLO: Can you imagine?

HARRISON: I can't imagine. I mean I don't know about your Christmas shopping has been going like, but can you imagine what Santa must do?

COSTELLO: He must be exhausted.

HARRISON: My goodness. And it hasn't even started yet, has it?

I did. I thought because, you know, at this time next week it will be the big day, of course. So I thought perhaps we ought to have a little look at conditions in that plan (ph)...

COSTELLO: Good idea.

HARRISON: ... for this weekend. Just this weekend.

COSTELLO: Fabulous idea.

HARRISON: I thought it was. I thought so. So I may as well take you straight to the weather wall now, and I can show you exactly what's going on. Now, of course, first thing is you need to pack your passport. And I have to say this is one stamp that would be interesting to have in your passport, I think it would be Laughland.

Now, first of all, across into Europe, that is some very, very mixed weather. High pressure through central regions, fine, dry, sunny, not particularly warm. And then all areas around that high, very unsettled. But of course it means there's also going to be some snow, which is what we're hoping for.

Now first of all, if you were going off to see Father Christmas, Santa Claus, this coming weekend, you wouldn't be flying into Laughland but into Sweden. And you'd actually be flying into Gallivare. And as you can see, it's going to be cloudy for the few days. But not only that, of course you'll notice daytime highs and overnight low temperatures very, very cold. But of course no surprise, you know exactly why, because this time of year there really is no daylight and no sunshine, nothing to warm it up. So pretty cold, but of course that is where Santa Claus will be, if you are lucky enough to spot him. But he will be very busy.

And then heading across to Austria, Innsbruck. Now from Innsbruck, again, you could be heading off to somewhere like St. Anton, one of the actual ski resorts. Weather, obviously, a little bit different in Innsbruck than it would be up on the actual resort, the mountain you are heading to. A little bit mixed, actually. It could be rather unsettled by the time you reach Sunday.

Geneva, it's the same sort of story. You could fly into Geneva to actually go a little bit further afield. And again, it's fairly unsettled with some cloud and some rain as we head towards the weekend. You'll also notice temperatures not particularly cold, not what you would associate with snow, which of course is why we're seeing the rain. But don't fear because the snow conditions are really improving very nicely across much of Europe.

Malaga, maybe that's a little bit interesting one for you. Of course Malaga is in southern Spain, the Sierra Nevada range of mountains. That is just literally an hour away from Malaga. Very, very popular with, obviously, all the Spanish who live in that part of the country.

And then finally a couple of places for you in Italy. And again, you could actually in Torino, you could be heading a little bit further afield across into France. In fact, Valisere (ph) would be a good place to go to from Torino. Again, some fairly cloudy conditions, overnight temperatures, obviously, a little bit lower.

But as I say, don't worry about the conditions in these cities, it's going to be glorious. Perfect time of year to actually go across to Europe and enjoy some of the Christmas festivities, the decorations and obviously, the weather as well.

Carol, back to you.

COSTELLO: And you have a wonderful holiday, because I know you are going home for the first time in five years for Christmas.

HARRISON: I am. I am. I get to do this. Look, I get to pack my passport, don't I? I know I'm very excited. I really am. First time in five years. And you have a fabulous Christmas as well.

COSTELLO: I'm going home, too, so I will.

HARRISON: Good.

COSTELLO: Thank you, Jenny, we appreciate it.
