CAROL LIN, CNN ANCHOR: We're going to check in with our 'Eye on the Sky,' Air Traffic Expert Rally Caparas from Travelocity Business is here.
RALLY CAPARAS, AIR TRAFFIC SPECIALIST, TRAVELOCITY.COM: And I'm...

LIN: Putting on his microphone, plugging in.

CAPARAS: ... unprepared. Here we go, and now I'm prepared.

LIN: Yes, because you know what, you are a man on the move.

CAPARAS: There you go.

LIN: So we're just catching you as you fly through the newsroom.

CAPARAS: Constantly traveling through the newsroom, that's right.

LIN: Are we -- are we going to be traveling well this weekend, I hope?

CAPARAS: It looks -- it looks pretty good right now, folks. It's not going to be anything like what you have seen over the past few days, folks, in the northeast. Boston and New York City, you have been delayed all week long, two and three hours, lots of wind. Just yucky weather I guess is a nice way of putting it.

LIN: You were searching.

CAPARAS: Yes. Yes.

LIN: It's that bad.

CAPARAS: There are other words I could use, but they'd jump all over me here and you wouldn't appreciate it either.

But today, it's going to be a good story for you. Boston, New York City, good conditions, on-time flight schedules all day and evening long. Enjoy it while it lasts. You know it won't last long, especially with the snow coming your way, and it won't be long before it gets there.

Philadelphia and the D.C. Metros, they will start out delay free, but later on this afternoon and evening, expect 30 to 45-minute arrival and departure delays. There will be some light snow and low clouds, poor visibility slowing things down. And then also, departure flight de-icing will kick in later on as the snow and the -- and the temperatures start to drop.

Detroit, Pittsburgh and Cincinnati-Covington airports, throw Cleveland Hopkins Airport into this mix, 30 to 45-minute arrival and departure delays. Rob has been telling you Cleveland is expecting somewhere around 10 inches of snow. That whole region is going to get dumped on throughout the day. The light snow, the poor visibility and departure flight de-icing will be the reasons for the slowdowns there.

Chicago O'Hare, they have seen two and three-hour delays all week long. They won't see any change from that. About 45 to 60-minute arrival delays this afternoon. This morning it will be smooth sailing, but the snow and all of that stuff is going to fall there.

I'll be back on Monday morning with the latest 'Eye on the Sky.' Have a fantastic weekend and happy trips.

LIN: You too, Rally. All right. Safe travels.

CAPARAS: You too.
