CAROL COSTELLO, CNN ANCHOR: I've missed you -- Rally.
RALLY CAPARAS, AIR TRAFFIC SPECIALIST, TRAVELOCITY.COM: I have missed you, too, Carol. So has everybody else.

COSTELLO: Sure.

CAPARAS: I know they have.

COSTELLO: You are going to tell us about travel delays. Hopefully not, though.

CAPARAS: Well I know you always hope that, but it's not the case, folks. There are always going to be delays or I won't have a job, anyway. It's not going to be anything major today. We have seen some excellent conditions for this very busy holiday travel period. It will be the same on the East Coast but not so good on the West Coast. Let's talk about it.

Philadelphia this morning, you will see 45 to 60-minute arrival delays early. We'll let Chad explain what freezing fog is. Poor visibility on the airport surface, about a half mile visibility, 100- foot deck of clouds. It's going to burn off later this morning as the temperatures rise. We should have on-time schedules later on this morning. But until then, you can expect those delays until about 9:30 or 10:00 a.m. Eastern Time. So beware.

Boston to Miami, all the rest of the airports on the East Coast, excellent conditions, on-time flight schedules all day and evening long.

Detroit, Cleveland and Cincinnati-Covington in the Great Lakes region, you will suffer some low clouds, poor visibility, a lot of rain moving into the area. That will equate to about 30 to 45-minute arrival delays at those three locations.

Chicago O'Hare, delay free right now and it should stay that way until about noon Central Time. Then you'll start to see 45-minute arrival delays as the wind shifts around from the southwest. Not a good wind direction for the runway configuration there. It will cause you problems, moderate delays.

And then on the West Coast, San Francisco, long delays. Sixty to 90-minute arrival delays. Low clouds, rain, poor visibility, strong gusting winds out of the southeast. It's going to be a rough day for you if you are headed to San Fran.

Everybody else in the West looks good.

I'll be back tomorrow morning with the latest 'Eye on the Sky' -- Carol.

COSTELLO: Hey, has the elevated terror alert affected things at the airports across the country?

CAPARAS: Amazingly when it comes to the airplane schedules and airline schedules it has had very little effect.

COSTELLO: Yes, I found that. I just wondered if that was -- that's what everybody felt.

CAPARAS: Surprisingly. Surprisingly so, huh?

COSTELLO: That's awesome.

CAPARAS: We expected many delays but not much.

COSTELLO: We like to hear that.

CAPARAS: So do I.

COSTELLO: Thank you -- Rally.

CAPARAS: Sure.
