CAROL COSTELLO, CNN ANCHOR: Are you all situated?
RALLY CAPARAS, AIR TRAFFIC SPECIALIST, TRAVELOCITY.COM: I'm all comfortable, finally.

COSTELLO: OK, good. Travelocity's Rally Caparas is here to tell us about possible flight delays this morning.

CAPARAS: Good morning, Carol.

Well, folks, it's been a very, very tough travel period over the last couple of days in the northeast. It's been nasty, three and four-hour delays at a lot of locations, hundreds of cancellations at Chicago over the last couple of days. Today it's going to be a lot more agreeable as far as the weather is concerned.

Boston's Logan Airport this morning, you'll start to see 30 to 45-minute arrival delays very shortly as strong gusting winds create a very bumpy ride. Keep it buckled. Very short delays also there, so fortunately it won't be too bad.

Newark and LaGuardia, you will, once again, as you did yesterday, most of the day, see 45 to 60-minute arrival delays. The strong gusting winds there force less-than-optimal runway configurations. They have to slow the rate of arriving aircraft down; hence, you'll have some delays. And it could get lengthy during the evening rush, so beware.

Philadelphia, 35 to 45-minute arrival delays are likely in the morning because of very heavy volume. This typically happens between 8:00 and 10:00 Eastern and then the volume lets up. Later on this afternoon, the gusting winds will have an effect on the parallel runway configuration. Likely to continue to see the 30 to 45-minute arrival delays as a result.

Detroit, Cleveland and Pittsburgh, Great Lakes region really getting beat up by the weather yesterday. Not nearly as bad today, but it will still be very, very windy, very cold, some clouds, some snow, blowing snow, reduced visibility. Thirty to 45-minute arrival and departure delays. You'll have departure flight de-icing there also.

And then finally, Chicago O'Hare Airport, the Windy City lives up to its reputation yet again. Expect hour-long arrival delays once the wind kicks up later this morning, runway configuration problems.

The rest of the country looking good. I'll be back tomorrow morning with the latest 'Eye on the Sky' -- Carol.

COSTELLO: All right. Thank you, Rally, we appreciate it.

CAPARAS: All right (ph).
