CAROL COSTELLO, CNN ANCHOR: If you are flying this morning, hopefully you are after that promotion, let's check in with our 'Eye on the Sky' Air Traffic Expert Travelocity's Rally Caparas.
Good morning.

RALLY CAPARAS, AIR TRAFFIC SPECIALIST, TRAVELOCITY.COM: Good morning, Carol.

I'll tell you what, I'm glad I have a fire at my house. I'm all bundled up sitting next to this thing getting warm. It's a cold one, folks, as Chad has been telling you, across the Northeast and windy at that.

Boston and Philadelphia today, you'll see some strong gusting winds, a very bumpy ride. Keep those seatbelts fastened. It's going to be very bumpy at the lower altitudes for sure. Thirty to 45-minute arrival delays as a result of those gusting winds.

A little further south, Newark and LaGuardia's airports, 45 to 60-minute arrival delays are likely, mostly in the afternoon and evening. Strong gusting winds will force less-than-optimal runway configurations and that will lead to those hour-long arrival delays. So be prepared there.

Chicago O'Hare, delay free this morning, but the wind will once again be a problem for them as it has been the last three or four days. Winds, combined with volume, will force less-than-optimal runway configurations there once again, and that means one-hour arrival delays into Chicago O'Hare this afternoon and evening.

And then finally out West, Seattle-Tacoma, 45-minute arrival delays, low clouds, poor visibility, freezing rain. They could be de- icing some of the departures so departures could be affected.

And then a little further south, San Francisco International. They will be delay free this morning, for a change. But the afternoon and evening will bring low clouds, more rain and winds out of the southeast, which means they turn the airport around, operating in a direction that they don't like to do it in and it will lead to 45 to 60-minute arrival delays as a result.

The rest of the country, looking pretty good, despite some areas seeing less-than-perfect weather.

I'll be back tomorrow morning with the latest 'Eye on the Sky.' Carol, I'll see you then. COSTELLO: All right. Thank you, Rally.
