CAROL COSTELLO, CNN ANCHOR: Now it's time to check on what's making headlines overseas in this morning's 'Euro Edition.' Becky Anderson live for us in London.
And President Bush made the front pages, didn't he?

BECKY ANDERSON, CNN CORRESPONDENT: He did. Absolutely, he did. "LeBrasion (ph)" in France and a number of the other papers across Europe, of course, with the fantastic story of Bush's plans for the moon and indeed for Mars. And what a beautiful picture they have got here on the front of "Le Brasion." Of course that's one of the French papers. That story playing out all over the world.

The Europeans, of course, desperate to catch up in the space race. I was talking to one space physicist yesterday, and he said really the U.S. are way ahead at present. But watch for plans from China and indeed from the Europeans. They'll want to catch up.

This, of course, the picture on the front page of "The Independent" in the U.K. today, and this a picture of one of the suicide -- the suicide bomber, sorry, in Erez in Gaza yesterday. God gave me two children and I loved them so much, the suicide message of a mother who left home to kill. Only the second suicide bombing mom, we're being told, and her family has indeed disowned her in a message today. So that's not particularly a nice picture there on the front, but at least we have a sense of what these suicide bombers look like.

The other story out there today is a story I believe you guys are going to enjoy. You know "Pop Idols." I'm sure you have all heard of "Pop Idols." They have been playing out in the U.K., I don't know, it's five or six series now. And the man we all love to hate, Mr. Simon Callow (ph), or Mr. Nasty as he's called here in the U.K.

And how about this, the Brits are going to absolutely love this. This is an unnamed potential "Pop Idol" in the U.S. who Simon Callow apparently was sort of lost for words with when he finished his song. I'm sure you will all understand this. There's a whole bunch of potential "Pop Idols" who have to go through these rounds and Mr. Simon Callow is one of the judges.

COSTELLO: So it's sort of like...

ANDERSON: Made an awful...

COSTELLO: It's sort of like...

ANDERSON: Go on. COSTELLO: ... "American Idol," but it's kind of the same show in Britain and Simon Cowell is one of the judges, right?

ANDERSON: Yes.

COSTELLO: OK. Go ahead.

ANDERSON: Absolutely. And Simon Callow, I believe, is one of the judges in the U.S. as well. Believe you don't like him very much and nor did this guy. Apparently when he finished his song, Simon Callow, loss for words, stood up and put his head in his hands. This young chap went forward to what everybody believed was shake his hand, grabbed a glass of water and threw it at Mr. Nasty. He was drenched. And these are pictures of Simon Callow getting wet between the ears for once in his life. There you go.

COSTELLO: I like that you keep calling him Simon Callow.

ANDERSON: Absolutely love this. I'm sure you'll see it. Yes. Mr. Nasty, as they call him, Simon Cowell, there you go. That's one of the pictures in the "Daily Mirror" today. That's about it from us, guys (ph).

COSTELLO: All right, thank you. Becky Anderson live from London this morning.
