CAROL COSTELLO, CNN ANCHOR: Well guess where we're going right now?
ROB MARCIANO, CNN METEOROLOGIST (?): Let's take a look.

COSTELLO: OK. Let's go to Pennsylvania right now and reporter -- I'm sorry, reporter Joe Murgo of CNN affiliate WTAJ.

You are covering Phil's coming out party. What do you think?

JOE MURGO, WTAJ-TV REPORTER: Right now it was the few high clouds around the region and there's a slight chance that he's up to seeing his shadow, but it does look like we are going to probably see six more weeks of winter.

What's going to be happening here? Right now we have thousands of people gathering at Gobbler's Knob. Temperatures are in the teens across the area. And they are waiting for the big moment. That moment is going to be coming at about 7:20 this morning. And at 7:20, Phil will make his 118 prediction.

And what will happen is the handler will come. He'll knock on the stump behind me there and rap and he will speak in groundhogese (ph) to the handler. And the inner circle will breath the proclamation of whether there will be six more weeks of winter or if there is going to be spring right around the corner. The thing about the right around the corner is we just don't know how long that block is before we get to that corner.

COSTELLO: You know, Joe, the excitement there is palpable. It's almost like the Super Bowl half time show behind you. How many people are there watching?

MURGO: I'd say there's a couple of thousand right now. They keep on streaming on into the area. And you know they stay warm by dancing the whole time. You hear the loud music behind me, that's why it's a little hard for me to hear you. And it's just a lot of spirit. And you know they don't care either way, they're just here for a memory and for a good time.

COSTELLO: That's right because it's some party there. It looks like a lot of fun. Thank you, Joe Murgo from WTAJ our CNN affiliate.
