CAROL COSTELLO, CNN ANCHOR: If you are heading out to the airport, hold on for just a second. It's time to check in with Rally Caparas, Travelocity's Air Traffic Expert.
Good morning -- Rally.

RALLY CAPARAS, AIR TRAFFIC SPECIALIST, TRAVELOCITY.COM: Good morning, Carol.

Well it looks like our streak of four to five days of pretty good conditions in the upper northeast they are about to end. It will end later on this morning, probably before noon or so Eastern Time. We'll start to see 60-minute arrival delays develop as low clouds, some snow, freezing rain and poor visibility, generally at Newark and LaGuardia airports this morning or actually, later today. It's going to be a nasty one, but hopefully you are flying before noon today, you'll get there on time.

Philadelphia and the D.C. Metros, they'll see 45 to 60-minute arrival delays start just about an hour or so from now. Low clouds, very dense fog, snow and freezing rain in the area. We could see those conditions improve by the mid to late p.m. for on-time schedules thereafter.

Detroit, Cleveland and Pittsburgh airports, 30 to 45-minute arrival and departure delays off and on throughout the day. Low clouds, fog, snow, rain, poor visibility, could see some icing also, so beware. Departures could be delayed just a bit.

Chicago O'Hare, they will see 60-minute arrival delays throughout the entire day. They have already started. Snow, slick runways. Mid to late p.m. we'll see the weather improve, but the traffic volume will be heavy and the delays will continue into the evening hours.

And then San Francisco International, once again they'll see 45 to 60-minute arrival delays, low clouds, fog. It will be early delays. They will end by about 1:00 p.m. in the Pacific Time Zone for on-time schedules.

I will talk to you tomorrow morning. Carol, have a great one.

COSTELLO: All right, you too. Thank you, Rally.
