CAROL COSTELLO, CNN ANCHOR: Now for more on that missing girl in Florida. The FBI has now enlisted the help of NASA technicians to help find her. Remember the surveillance tape we showed you yesterday?
Well, for the latest on that we go to April Mertz of CNN affiliate Bay News 9. She is at the scene of the apparent abduction.

Tell us more.

APRIL MERTZ, CNN AFFILIATE BAY NEWS 9 REPORTER: Well, that's right. It's now another day gone by, and still no sight of 11-year- old Carlie Brucia.

We're actually at the car wash, where she was last seen. And amazingly enough, that video you were talking about was shot right back here in Sarasota. A security camera actually caught Carlie and the man police say is her abductor on tape. It actually shows him walking away with her, and that was the last time she was seen Sunday evening. Obviously, everybody now in this community is looking for her.

The Sarasota sheriff's office says they will stop at nothing until Carlie is brought home. The Florida Department of Law Enforcement and the FBI are now getting involved. In fact, the FDLE was actually able to enhance that video to show that the man taking Carlie away has a tattoo on each arm. NASA is now looking at that video, trying to enhance it even further to see if they can learn anymore from that video.

We have heard a public outcry from Carlie's mother, saying that she wants her home as soon as possible. Obviously, pleading and begging that whoever took her, bring her back home -- Carol.

COSTELLO: You know, in just looking at this videotape -- and it's hard to figure out what exactly is happening -- we don't know if he has any kind of weapon not. Are police saying anything more? Because it looks as if they just meet, and he leads her away by the hand.

MERTZ: Yes, we've been asking that for the past couple of days now. Again, that's why they're trying to enhance that video to see if they can see if he does have anything in his hand.

Also, if you'll notice, he's wearing some kind of mechanic's type T-shirt. They're trying to see what it says on there, but to learn really anything they can at this point. COSTELLO: And, of course, they'll probably try to enhance his face, and that will be released to the media soon, I would guess.

MERTZ: Absolutely. And actually, the next press conference, news conference is in just a few minutes. That will be the first word of the morning. So, hopefully, some kind of break in this case will hopefully come later today.

COSTELLO: Yes. We'll be monitoring that, too. April Mertz from Bay News 9 reporting live from Sarasota, Florida, for us. We appreciate it.
