CAROL COSTELLO, CNN ANCHOR: And some of those passengers, Rally, were nervous because of this, because they didn't know where this guy was coming from. Can you imagine sitting on a plane and hearing that over the intercom?
RALLY CAPARAS, AIR TRAFFIC SPECIALIST, TRAVELOCITY.COM: Asking -- probably asking people to pray and the whole bit. It's -- yes, well, interesting conversation, to say the least. I bet they had some really good ones, maybe even some arguments. But hopefully everything is going to work out.

Anyway today, folks, you've heard -- you've heard Chad telling you about the great weather conditions. Well guess what, delays are still going to be a factor at some locations today despite the excellent weather conditions.

In the -- in the New York City area, things are operating very smoothly right now. But later on today you can expect to see 45- minute arrival delays as strong gusting winds out of the southwest force less-than-optimal runway configurations, primarily at LaGuardia. It will be sporadic at Newark, but expect 45-minute arrival delays at both locations once we hit the peak period for volume between 4:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. in the Eastern Time Zone.

But further south, from Philadelphia all the way down to Miami International, excellent flight conditions, on-time schedules for all of those airports in between, including those two major airports.

In the Midwest, Chicago O'Hare operating smoothly right now, but the Windy City gets windy later on today. They will see 25 to 30 knot gusting winds out of the southwest also and that will mean 60-minute arrival delays for those of you arriving after 3:00 p.m. in the Central Time Zone. So keep that in mind.

Down in Texas, they will be underneath the low clouds, some light rain throughout the day. Low clouds, 800-foot ceilings, that means they go IFR. You can expect a 30 to 45-minute arrival delay as a result of those conditions. Nothing major, just some short to moderate delays there.

And then Phoenix Sky Harbor, beautiful weather, everything should go well. Wrong, they have runway construction. They are down to two runways now. You can expect 30 to 45-minute arrival delays this afternoon and evening once the volume picks up.

The West Coast looking absolutely perfect.

I'll be back tomorrow morning with the latest 'Eye on the Sky.' Carol, it's all yours.

COSTELLO: Thank you -- Rally.

CAPARAS: Sure.
