Another O.J. shocker. Tonight, SHOWBIZ TONIGHT reveals the chilling details of O.J. Simpson`s canceled book on how he would have killed his ex- wife and Ron Goldman, if he had done it. Plus, the explosive question, will the victim`s family now actually publish the book?
Hello, I`m A.J. Hammer in New York.
ANDERSON: Hi there everybody. I`m Brooke Anderson in Hollywood. OK, late today there was a startling new development in the investigation into the mysterious death of Anna Nicole Smith`s son. The latest details coming up in just a few minutes.
HAMMER: But first, America has a new hero and her name is America. America Ferrera, the star of ABC`s "Ugly Betty" shocked everyone with her big win at the Golden Globes last night, but the story only begins there, because with her victory, America Ferrera is sending a message to women everywhere that the ridiculous scary skinny look in Hollywood is out, curves are in, and quite frankly, it`s about time.

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: And the Golden Globe goes to --
UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: "Ugly Betty."
HAMMER (voice-over): Sometimes it pays to win ugly. The upset victory of "Ugly Betty" at the Golden Globes awards sent shock waves shaking Hollywood and anointed a new TV sweetheart in America, best comedy actress winner, America Ferrera.
FERRERA: Ugly is the perfect accessory.
You are an attractive, intelligent, confident business woman.
HAMMER: The show, about a plain, braces-wearing girl, who falls and rises at an up tight body conscious fashion magazine, has struck a chord among American audiences, with around 13 million viewers every week. And when "Ugly Betty" star America Ferrera accepted her Golden Globe, she cheerfully acknowledged the effect her show is having.
FERRERA: It is an honor to play a role that I hear from young girls on a daily basis how it makes them feel worthy and lovable and that they have more to offer the world than they thought.
HAMMER: "Ugly Betty`s" golden night proved that right now in Hollywood, artificial beauty may be on the way out and curves and genuine inner beauty are in.
Ferrera tells SHOWBIZ TONIGHT`s Sibila Vargas that her character is clearly making an impact.
FERRERA: I think that Betty is a beautiful reflection of a lot of young women in this country.
HAMMER: Of course, it wasn`t just Betty sending the message about a healthy self-image.
JENNIFER HUDSON, "DREAMGIRLS": You do not know how much this does for my confidence.
HAMMER: In the movie category, Jennifer Hudson`s Golden Globe win as best supporting actress put her at the forefront of the Oscar race for her role in "Dreamgirls." But Hudson is becoming just as famous for her well deserved pride in her curvy figure, which I recently asked her about.
(on camera): You seem to have a really healthy attitude about body image. What do you say to the young women who say, no, I really do need to look good, and I`m not going to feel good about myself until I do?
HUDSON: But it`s about feeling good about yourself, not about -- I mean, if it feels good to be a size zero, then be that size zero, whatever makes you feel good, but don`t do it for somebody else, just so you can get their attention, just so they can say you look cute for the day. You don`t want to have to live with that.
HAMMER (voice-over): At the Golden Globes, actress after actress after actress told SHOWBIZ TONIGHT that Hollywood`s obsession with looks and body image is something they have to live with every day.
HAYDEN PANETTIERE, "HEROES": The camera definitely does add ten pounds, especially with our new wide screen televisions. You don`t look too cute.
UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: Do you think it`s gotten out of control?
ELIZABETH MITCHELL, "LOST": Oh, sure. I thing it has, but I understand that people want to work towards a certain ideal. I just wish the ideal was a little bit larger.
YUNJIN KIM, "LOST": If you`re, you know, sort of trying to copy over the types of models that you see in Vogue, you know, you`re not going to be happy.
HAMMER: That`s something Sheryl Crow tells SHOWBIZ TONIGHT, women, don`t buy into the hype.
UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: What do you think about this obsession with thinness?
SHERYL CROW, SINGER: I think it`s everything now. I don`t think it`s just thinness. It`s think it`s youth and not having any wrinkles on your face. I just think the bottom line is, when you`re healthy, you look better. And when you`re happy, you look younger. So that`s what you should strive for.
HAMMER: And as for "Ugly Betty" herself, Ferrera says maybe looking at her character in a different way is the first step in changing the way we look at beauty.
FERRERA: I don`t really see Betty as ugly. I see her as closer to the real girls I see in life. And I think that the title is about how we tend to call ourselves ugly if we don`t reach the kind of ridiculous expectations that are set. And the fact is, there are millions and millions of ugly Betties in our own lives that we love and cherish and we need to stop using that word, especially towards ourselves and the people that we love.

ANDERSON: Now coming up in the SHOWBIZ Weight Watch, the shocking story of an actress` life and death battle with anorexia. Plus, why Hollywood still seems to be obsessed with the scary skinny look. That`s at 30 past the hour, right here on SHOWBIZ TONIGHT.
HAMMER: Well, we`ve got two big stories to tell you about tonight. They both involve people who continue to do things that continuously make our jaws drop -- O.J. Simpson and Anna Nicole Smith. You are not going to believe this, but now O.J. reportedly planning to write a book, just as we`re learning about the sickening new details in his other book, that didn`t get published -- that`s the book that had him describing how he might have killed his ex-wife Nicole, if he did it.
But first, we have late breaking Anna Nicole News. Tonight, with me in Glendale, California, Harvey Levin, managing editor of the entertainment news website TMZ.com. Hello Harvey.
HARVEY LEVIN, TMZ.COM: Hi, A.J.
HAMMER: What a shocker today in the Anna Nicole Smith saga. Of course, we just have the news coming in that a coroner in the Bahamas is now going to be conducting a formal inquest into the death of Smith`s son Daniel. Of course, Daniel died just days after the birth of Anna Nicole`s daughter, Danni Lynne. Now Harvey, a private coroner had already ruled his death an accident. So, set this straight for me. What`s going on here?
LEVIN: Well, there are a couple of things. We found out that they are going to call more than 20 witnesses during this inquest. It`s really like a court hearing. And one of the witnesses, we are told by coroner sources, one of the witnesses is going to say that Howard K. Stern somehow supplied Daniel with the Methadone that, in part, was responsible for his death, and that, after he died, that he took whatever remained of the Methadone and flushed it down a toilet.
I am not saying that`s true. I`m saying one of the witnesses is going to testify about that. And I`m told that by a coroner`s official.
HAMMER: And what you`re saying backs up some of the conspiracy theories that have been floating around since Daniel died.
I want to move on to O.J. Simpson, because big news with this report coming out that O.J.`s lawyer is now saying, Simpson is planning to publish a book about himself and his slain ex-wife, Nicole Brown Simpson. Of course, the book "If i Did It" has been canceled. Why would anybody want to do business with this guy, O.J. Simpson? I just can`t imagine who that would be.
LEVIN: Oh, I can. It`s the person who cares more about money than morals. And there are people out there. I have absolutely no doubt in my mind that somebody, some sleazy person, is going to publish this book. And they are going to do it for one reason, because they can make some money off of it. That`s what this whole thing is about. And it`s an issue of -- does your conscience prevent you or not. And there are a lot of people who wouldn`t do it and there are people who would.
HAMMER: That really backfired for Judith Reagan who was set to publish the last O.J. book, and the excerpts from that non-published O.J. book, "IF I Did It," were published in Newsweek" this week. I want to take a look at what`s in the book. This one particular passage caught me, "something went horribly wrong, and I know what happened, but I can`t tell you exactly how."
Now "Newsweek adds, Simpson then writes that when he regains control of himself, he realizes he is drenched in blood and holding a bloody knife. Both Nicole and Goldman are dead. O.J. says this book, which never got published, was not a confession. Harvey, do you buy that for one moment?
LEVIN: Oh, look, he`s a killer, for sure. And in terms of whether this is a confession, I think it`s pretty weird, A.J. Right before the passage you read, he also said what really set him of was that Kato, the dog, was wagging its tail when it saw Ron Goldman standing there and, to him, that meant to O.J. Simpson, that Ron Goldman had been there before. And that`s when he allegedly says that he blacked out. That kind of detail is kind of weird to me for somebody who is creating this hypothetical story.
HAMMER: Real quickly, is there any truth to the rumor that the Goldman and Brown families could get involved with publishing this to recoup some of the money they are still owed by O.J. in the civil judgment?
LEVIN: No way dude. No way, no how is that going to happen.
HAMMER: All right Harvey, I appreciate you clearing that up. Harvey Levin from TMZ.com, thanks.

ANDERSON: OK, A.J., did you see the startling Paula Abdul video making the rounds on the Internet?
HAMMER: Yes, a lot of people calling into question her state of mind when this took place.
ANDERSON: Yes, a lot of people are asking, was she drunk during a live TV interview? We`ve got that coming up.
HAMMER: Oh, wait until you see this. Also, will Naomi Campbell be sweeping up garbage from the streets of New York in her designer high heels? The supermodel`s stunning court room admissions on the way. We`ve also got this.

All right, the question running around our minds today here at SHOWBIZ TONIGHT, was "American Idol" judge straight up stoned or sloshed during a recent interview on a Seattle morning show. Well, a lot of people think Paula Abdul was, in fact, plastered, drunk. I want you to take a look at this bizarre video. It popped up on YouTube.

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: How do you think Idol has changed the face of pop music?
PAULA ABDUL, "AMERICAN IDOL": Well, let`s push it this way, when the show started, the record industry said this show is going to ruin the record industry, and the record industry was already kind of upside down. But now we are legitimate and we`re churning out mega, mega stars and it`s a show that actually you see great things happen to these kids and I love it. And I think that it`s going to be around for a while.
UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: Yes, and speaking of great things happening to people, an old buddy of yours, William Hung, he`s coming on our show tomorrow morning.
ABDUL: You`re kidding!
UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: Yes, he is. He`ll be here tomorrow, and he seems like a really nice guy. When he auditioned for you, did you have any idea that he was going to become such a cult star?
ABDUL: You know what, I thought that this kid is going, if anything, prove that he has so much -- a tremendous amount of heart, and he`s got drive and he`s a smart kid, and boy did we see how smart he actually really is.

HAMMER: Wow, Paula`s publicist insists that she is no lush, telling SHOWBIZ TONIGHT that Paula was just exhausted after doing hours and hours of interviews, and that Paula actually never drinks.
Now Fox blamed the whole thing on those pesky technical difficulties, which I won`t get into. Here`s Paula`s explanation on "Ellen."

ABDUL: What happened was two cities were in my ear, in my monitor, so I have Birmingham and Seattle, and I`m answering Birmingham`s answers, but it`s airing on Seattle`s morning show. So, it looked like I was just in my own little world, just doing my own little thing. I`ve been in this business 20 years. You`ve never seen any articles or any pictures of me partying and whooping it up. I` take my -- being a role model very seriously.

HAMMER: Well, you can judge for yourself. Paula has denied drug problems in the past.
ANDERSON: It`s outrageous and shocking and Naomi Campbell said it`s true. Yes, super model Naomi Campbell pleaded in New York criminal court today to misdemeanor assault for hitting her maid with a cell phone. Why, you ask? Well, this is a pretty good one. Listen to this, it was all over a pair of missing jeans, yes. Naomi was in her apartment when she hit her maid in the back of the head with the phone.
And, you know, this is not the first time the super angry super model has allegedly lost her temper. Several of her employees have filed suits against her in the past.
Joining us now from Court TV headquarters in New York is Ashleigh Banfield, host of "Hollywood Heat." Good to see you Ashleigh.
ASHLEIGH BANFIELD, COURT TV ANCHOR: Hi Brooke.
ANDERSON: Now, Ashleigh, this case must have been pretty strong against Naomi, because at first glance it all just looks like a she said, she said. Why suddenly now is she pleading guilty.
BANFIELD: It`s called a deal. It`s real hard being beautiful, I guess, these days, but they did come up with a deal. It took a couple months, and it wasn`t easy to come to and this is what happens. You apparently, if you`re Naomi Campbell, and you make a deal, you`re going to do five days of community service, pay 363 dollars in the medical bills of the person you hurt, you`re going to go to a couple anger management classes, and you`re going to suffer some media abuse.
ANDERSON: Well, you know what, let`s talk about that community service that she has to do. Charles is there anyway we could look at that video of a more recent celebrity who has been doing community service. Boy George had to some community service of his own. I don`t know if you remember he called police saying there was a burglary at his place, but police arrived, found cocaine.
There he with the trash. Are we going to see Naomi Campbell doing something like this?
BANFIELD: Yes, I don`t think so. Although, I hate to think, because I work in television, I would love to see it. But her lawyer is worried about stalkers and people who are, you know, trying to come and attack her. He is requesting that it be some kind of indoor community service. But, you know, if I`m the authorities in this, then I`ll say, sure, indoors and we allow the cameras.
ANDERSON: That`s right, yes. And, you know, her lawyer also said that she has until May 21st to complete the community service. So we may not see it for a while. Naomi might not think that orange vest is very fashionable either. But Ashleigh, here`s why Naomi says she made that guilty plea. She told SHOWBIZ TONIGHT, in a statement, "I pleaded guilty to a misdemeanor in court today. That`s the best way I know to say I`m sorry to Anna. I accepted responsibility and I`m prepared to take my punishment, but I`m not going to let this incident define me. The past is the past. My future hold great things and I`m getting on with my life."
She seems pretty apologetic here, Ashleigh, but is she just trying to avoid a lawsuit?
BANFIELD: I don`t know what she`s doing. I didn`t think that sounded apologetic at all, because, after all, she didn`t even admit to really wanting to do this. She still maintains it was an accident, I never meant for the phone to hit this woman, and yet, the bejeweled blackberry nailed her right in the head and she had to be treated for the injury.
Not only that, when she says I don`t think this is going to define me. I don`t want this to define me. Too bad, you don`t get to decide who defines you. You`re a public figure, and if you do these things and they end up in the headlines, and on SHOWBIZ TONIGHT, that is what defines you.
ANDERSON: Naomi just put the phone down.

BANFIELD: And walk away.

HAMMER: Well Brooke, I know you were right there when Donald Trump got his star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame today. He can`t go anywhere without talking about his hair and Rosie, right?
ANDERSON: That`s right. He talked about his hair. And, you know, his little nine-month-old son Barron (ph) also has a comb over, but it`s really cute on Barron. By the way, Rosie wasn`t invited.
HAMMER: I look forward to seeing that and we`ll hear from Trump himself coming up next. We`ve also go this.

ANDERSON: Well, now Rosie O`Donnell can stomp on Donald Trump`s name all she wants, and the Donald probably wouldn`t say anything about it. I was right there, just down the block, as Trump got a star on Hollywood`s Walk of Fame today. He was honored as a TV producer for the Miss USA pageants and "The Apprentice," which, by the way, had another week of nose diving ratings. But the Donald is keeping his head up about that.

DONALD TRUMP, "THE APPRENTICE": It is season six and it is from Los Angeles and it was against a football game. The first week was very strong. The second week was good. But, you know, when you have 35 million people watching a football game, including me -- but overall the ratings have been very good. We`re very happy with them.

ANDERSON: He`s a glass half full kind of guy. Trump also told me he hopes this whole Rosie O`Donnell, Barbara Walters mess goes away and he want people to stop asking him about it. And, of course, Donald, being a real estate mogul, knows the value of location, location, location. His star is on Hollywood and Highland, right outside the Kodak Theater, which is where the Oscars are held.

HAMMER: Brooke, you live out there in Hollywood. You`re in the scene. You know that`s a tough town. You need good people around you.
ANDERSON: I`m not in the scene, though. It is a tough town, yes.
HAMMER: But you know how important it is to have good friends you know. And have you noticed the trend that so many big Hollywood stars, their best friends are other Hollywood stars. We`re going to be investigating best friends, Hollywood style, coming up. It is fascinating.
ANDERSON: Solid friends are very important, A.J.
Also, you know, many people think that what the stars were wearing at the Golden Globes last night as just as important, if not more, than what they were winning. So straight ahead, Joan and Melissa Rivers will join us to tell us who were the fashion fabulous, and then who were the red-carpet disasters. And you know they always tell it like it is.
HAMMER: And Brooke, you were certainly among the fashion fabulous last night.
ANDERSON: Ah, thank you.
HAMMER: But first tonight, we have yet another shocking story of a Hollywood star battling an eating disorder. Elisa Donovan, who you may remember as the star from the `90s hit film "Clueless" and the TV show says she was hospitalized for anorexia while she was making the movie "Clueless."
Donovan sat down with Dr. Keith Ablow from "The Dr. Keith Ablow Show" to talk about how her fame led to the pressure from Hollywood to lose weight.

ELISA DONOVAN, ACTRESS: I had no control of any thing. And I felt like I was over the hill at, like, 18.
DR. KEITH ABLOW, TALK SHOW HOST: But then you stumble on a way to.
DONOVAN: Yes.
ABLOW: .show how much control you have.
DONOVAN: Yes. I was quite literally having lunch with a friend, and I was expressing my - my frustration at every thing. And I literally pushed the plate away from me on the table. And in doing that, I felt this sense of power.

HAMMER: Well, unfortunately, here we are, it`s now a decade after "Clueless," and so many young Hollywood stars are still clueless and skinnier than ever.
Joining me tonight here in New York, Dr. Keith Ablow of "The Dr. Keith Ablow Show."

ABLOW: Well, thanks.
HAMMER: So this episode is called "Eating Disorders: Fame and the Pressures of Hollywood."
Is it just out of control? Because it sure seems that way.
ABLOW: Well, I think it is out of control.
Number one, you have, of course, these role models quote - unquote - you know, being exposed to America and young girls emulating them, imitating them, and saying, Well, I got to be a Size 0. And it gives them a goal that`s really no goal at all, because it hurts them in the long run, of course.
HAMMER: And I keep feeling like we`re getting hints that it`s getting better. But it doesn`t really feel like it`s getting better to me.
ABLOW: You know what? I think more than ever people want a sense of mastery, you know, over their destiny and their lives. And it`s harder than ever to achieve that.
And so just as Elisa explained, when she quote - unquote - stumbled on this fake way, by the way, to show that you`re in control by pushing a plate away.
HAMMER: Yes.
ABLOW: More and more, I think, unfortunately, women and men, too, are finding that, Oh, well, I`ll go that road.
HAMMER: It`s like a false sense of power, kind of.
ABLOW: Totally.
HAMMER: And - and - and what Elisa told you - and quite frankly, I was shocked to learn of this. This was not some thing that I think was commonly known. She was very candid about sharing her eating disorder with you.
What really was the most startling thing that she told you?
ABLOW: You know what? I think the most startling this is the sense that she had - you know, you hear it again and again, that the distorted body image that people have - but the way that she would misinterpret statements that were made to her - that, you know, some one would say to her, Oh, you know, you`re getting bigger. You know, when she was growing up even. And she would think to herself, Huh, you know, does that mean that I`m getting too big?
So this kind of sense in your mind like - that you`re starting to hear things in a slightly different way than others might.
HAMMER: One of the ways, I think, that distorted body image that you mentioned is possibly getting bigger - I mean, we were talking earlier in the program - we were so happy to see our new hero, America Ferrera, from "Ugly Betty," winning the Golden Globe last night, winning the Golden Globe this week. And - and to get up on stage and say, I`m so happy to be celebrated for who I am.
We saw the same thing from Jennifer Hudson. She won the Golden Globe. She told me she`s happy to be thick. Those are - that was - those were her words.
So they`re out there. They`re saying it. I`m not feeling things getting better. Why does Hollywood not get the message that this is OK, and this is what you should be portraying?
ABLOW: Well, you know what? Because I think people do vote with their feet. And unfortunately, a lot of women and men, you know, watch more television or read more magazines when there are people who are pencil thin who are portrayed. So you see celebrity magazines and - and other venues in terms of the media putting on, like, some one`s struggle with an eating disorder.
And on the same magazine cover, is some thing about, Oh, she lost 80 pounds and doesn`t she look great? So there are conflicted messages that are out there.
HAMMER: Which is making my head spin.
ABLOW: Which does make your head spin.
I think the key here from a - from a psychiatrist`s perspective, is that always there`s some thing that I`ve found with my patients, and in talking to people on the show, that underlies why these women have sought a sense of mastery through food - or men, by the way, when it affects them. But there`s always some thing out of control that they are not yet willing to address.
HAMMER: Some thing not necessarily having to do specifically with appearance you mean?
ABLOW: Exactly.
HAMMER: But I - but I think that still has to be a component. And kind of a vicious cycle, particularly in Hollywood, when one actress sees that another actress - my, didn`t she get so skinny? And whether consciously or subconsciously, push pressure on herself. It creates this vicious cycle, and it`s almost like a contest to out-skinny each other.
ABLOW: You know what? I think that people that do do that, right? It can be the fashion of the day. And psychological problems have their fashions.
And so - you know what? The question is, You never know who`s going to be vulnerable. So it`s thing to put out a message widely - look at - you know, look at these beautiful women who are so skinny.
But amongst the people who will hear that, including celebrities, are some who are going to say - go too far with it.
HAMMER: Yes.
ABLOW: Just like people who drink in moderation, and others who can`t.
HAMMER: And we got to keep talking about it.

ANDERSON: It`s not exactly a "Friends" reunion, but two stars are planning to work together on the small screen again. Jennifer Aniston will guest star in the season finale of Courtney Cox`s new show, "Dirt." Cox plays a tabloid editor, and Aniston will play a rival editor.
The show will air March 27 on the FX network.
HAMMER: Well, the friendship Jen Aniston and Courtney Cox share, of course, is just one of the many friendships SHOWBIZ TONIGHT is going to take you through. We`re talking about old friends and new friends. But in Hollywood, does it matter who your friends are?
SHOWBIZ TONIGHT investigates.

COURTNEY COX, ACTRESS: And I have delivered a boy!
HAMMER (voice-over): Just like on "Friends," a best friend is there through good times and bad, and when you need them most.
DR. JUDY KURIANSKY, CLINICAL PSYCHOLOGIST: A good best friend is one you can always lean on. And Jennifer Aniston leaned on Courtney Cox after Brad Pitt dumped her. And that is the sign of a real friend that is lasting.
HAMMER: One long-lasting friendship: Oprah Winfrey and Gayle King. Oprah has even said there isn`t a definition for the kind of bond she has with Gayle.
They`ve shared every thing - even shared their most private moments in a cross-country road trip for all America to see.
KURIANSKY: It`s a wonderful thing to show her audience, particularly, how close women can be. And a close friendship between two women is tremendously empowering for all women to see.
UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: You know what? I love Oprah and Gayle. Because Oprah is like, No, Gayle going to have a child. Gayle will be head of the magazine.
UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: OK?
UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: Gayle will have a radio show.
UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: My girl.
UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: All right? Cause that is my girl, all right?
UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: And being my friend is her qualification.
UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: That`s right.
HAMMER: And SHOWBIZ TONIGHT can tell you another Hollywood trend: confidant with curling iron. We`ve seen Jessica Simpson and her best friend, her male stylist, Empoves (ph). It`s more common than you think.
KURIANSKY: After all, that is the person she talks to, and opens her heart to. So when Jessica opens up to her hair stylist, Ken, and he says, you`re beautiful, she shines.
HAMMER: It`s not just women. Even Hollywood`s A-list have their best buds. Look at Jake Gyllenhaal and Matthew McConaughey.
UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: I`m going to say, that`s my favorite best- friend pair (INAUDIBLE)
UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: Yes. McConaughottie (ph) and Jake .
UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: Jake Gyllentho (ph).
UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: Yes.
UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: Delicious.
UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: Shirtless.
UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: Shirtless and delicious.
UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: Yes.
UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: (INAUDIBLE) wet and glistening in the sun.
UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: Yes.
UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: Best friends.
UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: Like two scoops on a - on a hot summer day.
KURIANSKY: Matt and Jake are a perfect example of the new trend in male relationships. It`s been called man date, or the gro-man. As opposed to go-man. And this is the really kind of sexy guys being together, hanging out.
HAMMER: It`s not just the good times, but the bad times when Hollywood friends stick together. Case in point: Madonna taking to the airwaves of the "Today" show to defend her friend Rosie O`Donnell during Rosie`s latest controversy.
MADONNA, SINGER: If ever stand-up comic was penalized for saying politically incorrect things or provocative things, I think they`d all be hung in the public square. So people are giving Rosie a hard time. I wish they`d stop.
KURIANSKY: If you do some thing that is outrageous, that the rest of the world may criticize and say that you`re a fool about, and - or whatever, and you rise to the occasion, as Madonna did with Rosie to defend a friend, it is the true example of your trustworthiness.
HAMMER: You are who your friends are. It`s an age-old quote. So SHOWBIZ TONIGHT is wondering, Didn`t these three know that? Pantyless party girl Britney Spears and her new best friends, Paris Hilton and Lindsay Lohan.
KURIANSKY: When you have a trio like Britney and Lindsay and Paris, and - where they`re taking and stealing each other`s boyfriends and then get angry, and - it`s a love-hate relationship that`s not based on what we know as the best kind of relationship.
HAMMER: But let`s forget them for a minute. SHOWBIZ TONIGHT can tell you the newest friendship all Hollywood is talking about: Katie Holmes and Posh Spice. Katie showing Posh around Hollywood, where Posh and husband David Beckham will soon call home.
UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: I was glad to see Katie get out the house. I`m going to be honest.
UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: Yes. Really? OK. You right. You right.
UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: Even if it is with Posh Spice.

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: Maybe she can get Posh Spice to eat.
UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: I mean, what do they talk?
UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: You`re thin. So are you.
HAMMER: So why do celebrities find best friends in other celebrities?
KURIANSKY: Birds of a feather flock together, and a best friend basically shows either you who are now, or who you really want to be.

HAMMER: One more Hollywood friendship I got to mention, because it truly has stood the test of time: Ben Affleck and Matt Damon. They even one their first Oscars together, of course.
Now Brooke, I know you spent some time with him today. But how`d you like to spend a little time with Donald Trump at your bathroom at home?
ANDERSON: Oh, can`t say that I would want to do that, A.J. But next, we do have some good news for any body who might like that idea.

And it`s time now for another story that made us say, "That`s Ridiculous!"
And this is good news, by the way, for any one who has ever wanted to flush Paris Hilton down the toilet. Now you can get Paris Hilton toilet paper on eBay. If that`s not your thing, you can get on a roll with Donald Trump. To each their own.
But do you really want his face in your bathroom? Anyway, if you want to spend five bucks on a roll of TP, have it. Paris and Donald toilet paper? Now "That`s Ridiculous!"
ANDERSON: OK, you can`t talk about any awards ceremony without talking about what every body was wearing, right? So who made it work, and who needed work at last night`s Golden Globes?
Well, who better to ask than Melissa and Joan Rivers, who were on the red carpet. And they join me now right here in Hollywood with their fashion hits and their misses. The red-carpet disasters. We`ll get to those in a second.
Ladies, welcome. Great to see you.
JOAN RIVERS, ENTERTAINER: Lovely to see you again.
MELISSA RIVERS, ENTERTAINER: Thank you.
ANDERSON: Now let`s start with best dressed. I know you both agree on Jennifer Lopez, right?
M. RIVERS: Unbelievable.
J. RIVERS: Yes.
M. RIVERS: Amazing.
ANDERSON: She was glowing.
J. RIVERS: Glowing - glowing on camera. Even more in real life. And every one`s saying, Maybe she`s pregnant.
ANDERSON: Did you see any hint of a bay bump?
J. RIVERS: No, but it was a very Grecian dress. It was a beautiful, very Grecian, very loose in the front.
ANDERSON: So it give her a little bit of room there.
J. RIVERS: Yes. Yes.
ANDERSON: Well, she just looks incredibly happy. And that`s half the battle, I think, right, ladies?
J. RIVERS: Yes. Yes.
ANDERSON: OK, you also - Jessica Biel, Penelope Cruz.
Melissa, Alec Baldwin told us that he couldn`t believe how beautiful Penelope Cruz was in person.
M. RIVERS: Unbelievable. She was in Chanel, and just every thing was right. It was just - it was sophisticated, but it was young. It - it just - she`s just - she knows what she`s doing.
J. RIVERS: But it was very feminine. She`s very feminine. She`s got, you know, the breasts and the hips and - a lot for Hollywood. I mean, for a normal person, phooey (ph). But a lot (INAUDIBLE). And she looked beautiful and very (INAUDIBLE).
ANDERSON: She`s got great curves.
J. RIVERS: Yes.
ANDERSON: And the other one who`s got those great curves that every body last night was saying, I want her body, Jessica Biel.
M. RIVERS: Unbelievable body. Un - the hair. It was one of the moments where, like, the hair color, the face, the make-up, the dress, every thing`s right in alignment.
ANDERSON: Clicked. And - and she fell into one of the trends of the night, metallic.
(CROSSTALK)
ANDERSON: Because you ladies had some metallic on as well, right?
(CROSSTALK)
J. RIVERS: Every body had a little shine.
Beyonce had too much. Beyonce looked like she was going to perform on stage. She`s so gorgeous, and you just want to say, No, no, no - a touch. Just a touch.
ANDERSON: So she should have toned it down?
J. RIVERS: She should have toned it down. I thought she was going to sing right there.
(LAUGHTER)
M. RIVERS: Yes, I mean the dress and the body glitter, I felt like it was just too much going on.
ANDERSON: What do you think - Jennifer Love Hewitt? Do we have a picture of Jennifer Love we could put up?
M. RIVERS: Again, metallics.
ANDERSON: Again metallics.
J. RIVERS: And again, boobs. The boobs. And - and - and it`s - you know, between her and the Arquettes, if you saw them, I - you suddenly realize that ghosts obviously only speak to ladies with racks. So .
ANDERSON: That`s a good one, Joan.
M. RIVERS: And she was - and she - she`s - I love the fabric.
ANDERSON: Yes.
M. RIVERS: But she really did look like she was going come just tumbling out.
ANDERSON: The hair looks great, though.
Well - well - well, let`s talk Angelina Jolie. You know, when she hits the carpet, she`s going to make a splash. Looked so elegant.
But was it because she`s so beautiful, because of what she wore, or because she had that great accessory, Brad Pitt on her arm?
M. RIVERS: Every thing.
ANDERSON: Yes.
M. RIVERS: I mean, it`s - it`s every thing.
J. RIVERS: Except I hate when you`re that beautiful and you`ve got tattoos. It just - it looks like you just broke out of a jail. And the tattoos said, Don`t get close to me, peasants. It`s.
(LAUGHTER)
ANDERSON: She - she looked like she covered them a little bit, but you could still see them.
J. RIVERS: A little. You could still see them. But so gorgeous. Looked so regal. I mean, not world - otherworldly.
ANDERSON: Right.
Another big trend: white. It was every where. Ellen Pompeo, Kate Winslet, Nicolette Sheridan, Heidi Klum. Not just for the wedding day any more, right?
M. RIVERS: No, white was every where. Every where.
J. RIVERS: But who looked fat? One of them looked chubby. Short and - not Penelope Cruz.
M. RIVERS: She was in black.
J. RIVERS: No. No. No.
ANDERSON: We.
J. RIVERS: (INAUDIBLE). Yes.
(CROSSTALK)
ANDERSON: Think on that.
M. RIVERS: Jennifer Garner was beautiful in white. Kate Winslet - you know, I loved Ellen Pompeo`s dress in the white with the sort of cut- out from the side, because it give her shape.
ANDERSON: A little bit of shape.
M. RIVERS: A little bit of shape. But you have to be careful with white. Because, you know, like in Kate Winslet`s situation, I thought it wasn`t the right white for her shape.
ANDERSON: Different shades.
M. RIVERS: Different shapes.
J. RIVERS: I didn`t like it on Annette Bening, either. There we are.
M. RIVERS: Salma Hayek.
J. RIVERS: Salma Hayek. She looked like she looks over a Krispy Kreme factory. And she`s not - she`s as thin as they come.
ANDERSON: Oh my gosh!
J. RIVERS: Yes, I know.
ANDERSON: I thought she looked great.
J. RIVERS: It`s -- it made her look hippy, and she`s not. She`s very thin.
ANDERSON: And there`s Heidi Klum.
M. RIVERS: There`s Heidi Klum.
J. RIVERS: She looked great.
M. RIVERS: But - and I liked the top half of Salma`s dress. I - I didn`t like how the bottom fit.
But if you can see here with Kate - again, a beautiful white dress, but with her skin tone, not the right white. It could have been a little bit more vibrant, I think.
ANDERSON: These ladies didn`t wear white, but they are newly single.
M. RIVERS: Yes.
ANDERSON: They have that in common - Cameron Diaz and Reese Witherspoon.
Now Reese had that stage, and it just seemed to me that she was, like, Here I am world, I am single, I am back.
(CROSSTALK)
M. RIVERS: The hair`s longer, a little bit blonder. The bangs. I loved the yellow dress. I loved the red shoes.
J. RIVERS: Oh, it just said, I`m here, I`m single, and look out.
Yes, I thought she looked fabulous.
ANDERSON: Really terrific look for her.
OK worst.
M. RIVERS: And border - but borderline break-up skinny.
ANDERSON: Yes. Yes, a little bit too skinny.
M. RIVERS: Borderline. But it`s, like, break-up skinny, which is kind of good.
ANDERSON: Well, I don`t know.
OK, very quickly, Vanessa Williams - 10 seconds.
J. RIVERS: I adored her. I thought she looked like an old-time movie star who dressed herself. I`m a hottie. I got fur. I got glitter. I got hair. And I - it - she looked great.
ANDERSON: And others say she looked like she had a poodle on her head.

M. RIVERS: That was a big weave.

Welcome back to SHOWBIZ TONIGHT, TV`s most provocative entertainment news show. I`m Brooke Anderson in Hollywood.
There are a lot of people taking it easy in Tinseltown tonight after staying up till the wee hours at all the Golden Globes after parties. I was right there on the red carpet for one of Hollywood`s biggest nights and a live edition of SHOWBIZ TONIGHT.
And one of the biggest stories of the night was this lady, Jennifer Hudson, and her win. She took Best Supporting Actress for her breakout role in "Dreamgirls."
Well, SHOWBIZ TONIGHT was right there at all the hottest after parties as well. Hudson`s win was on every body`s mind. Lots of support for her in Hollywood, obviously.
And when we caught up with her, she said she couldn`t have imagined the kind of night she had when she tried out for "American Idol."

HUDSON: I didn`t know what would happen. You know, I just wanted to do it for the experience. And look around, I`m still experiencing it to this day.
JON VOIGHT, ACTOR: "Dreamgirls" - terrific. There`s a lot of my pals in that. So it was great, yes. Great. And I`m glad - very glad the young lady won for best supporting. It was wonderful. Yes, wonderful.
MARY J. BLIGE, SINGER: The highlight of my night is definitely Jennifer Hudson winning the award for Best Supporting Actress in "Dreamgirls," because she deserved it. And Warren Beatty being honored like he was, because I`m a Warren Beatty fan. And meeting Clint Eastwood. (INAUDIBLE) crazy names (ph).

ANDERSON: All in all, a really fun night. And now it`s time to get ready for the Oscars. And those are going to happen February 25.

ANDERSON: Well, you know, we see the usual suspects at these award shows a lot of times. But to see Jennifer Hudson and America Ferrera, these newcomers come, and just win and to see how genuinely thankful and gracious and excited they were was really a highlight.
