(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: It`s a huge lesson for all celebrities to learn that we are not above the law.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

HAMMER: The things Paris has just gotta do when she gets out. Plus, the mystery surrounding Paris` Father`s Day family visit. SHOWBIZ TONIGHT with the countdown to Paris getting out of lockdown.

Also tonight, Angelina Jolie on all the out-of-control young Hollywood stars. Why she thinks they should just take a hike. Tonight, I go one-on- one with Angelina Jolie. She opens up about why her new movie is so personal.

And her family life with Brad Pitt and the kids. My revealing interview with Angelina Jolie right here on SHOWBIZ TONIGHT.

Happy Monday night. I`m A.J. Hammer in New York.

ANDERSON: Hi there everyone. I`m Brooke Anderson in Hollywood. And tonight, there are some strange twists in the two ugliest child custody fights in Hollywood. And we also have the nastiest celebrity cat fights. All that coming up.

HAMMER: Yes, get ready to run for cover. First tonight, the countdown to letting Paris out of lockdown. Now, we would be remiss if we didn`t get out and get some advice for Paris from some of the biggest stars in Hollywood. That is right. SHOWBIZ TONIGHT has been asking everyone, from Angelina Jolie to Ellen Degeneres, what they would tell Paris to do which she gets out of jail. I got to tell you, I just love what they have to say. And, Paris, I really, really hope you`re watching.

(BEGIN VIDEOTAPE)

HAMMER (voice-over): The countdown has begun for June 25th, the day Paris Hilton gets released from jail. And as Paris gets closer to tasting freedom and introducing what she says will be a kinder, gentler Paris, SHOWBIZ TONIGHT is bringing her advice from stars from Jolie --

ANGELINA JOLIE, ACTRESS: Get away from it all and go somewhere and maybe try to find yourself as a woman.

HAMMER: To Jerry.

JERRY SPRINGER, "AMERICA`S GOT TALENT": I think what Paris should do -- I think she should change her name to London.

HAMMER: And other stars offering more serious opinions.

ELLEN DEGENERES, "ELLEN": I hope she is reading good books.

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: I think it`s a huge learning lesson for all celebrities to learn that we are not above the law. The main thing that you should do is take responsibility for your actions.

HAMMER: SHOWBIZ TONIGHT brings you the advice stars have for Paris Hilton and the very latest on how the heiress is doing in her final days in the clink. This past Father`s Day it was about more than neck ties and other gifts for the Hilton family. SHOWBIZ TONIGHT brings you this TMZ.com video of Paris`s father Rick and mother Kathy paying Paris a Father`s Day visit at her California jail.

As the media swarmed around them, Rick Hilton grimly noted that it was a less than happy occasion.

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: Is it a particularly hard father`s day, Mr. Hilton, because of your daughter being here?

RICK HILTON, FATHER OF PARIS HILTON: It`s not one of my best.

HAMMER: Her mother told the media about how Paris is faring in jail?

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: What does she do for those hours that she`s in -- what does she do?

KATHY HILTON, MOTHER OF PARIS HILTON: Looks at the four walls and reads some nice fan mail.

HAMMER: Hilton`s parents and her sister Nicky have repeatedly visited Paris in jail. "New York Daily News" columnist Ben Widdicombe says maybe they could do even more to keep her out of trouble.

BEN WIDDICOMBE, "NEW YORK DAILY NEWS": Rick, Kathy and her sister Nicky are still standing behind her. Some people might say maybe it`s time to say Paris, put on the brakes.

HAMMER: But that old wild Paris Hilton is gone, she says. In a jailhouse interview with Paris that Barbara Walters read on "The View," Hilton promised to turnover a new, more charitable leaf.

BARBARA WALTERS, "THE VIEW": Are you different, I asked her. And she said, I`m not the same person I was. I know now that I can make a difference, that I have the power to do that. I want to do different things when I`m out of here.

HAMMER: And promise to stop playing dumb.

WALTERS: I used to act dumb. It was an act. That act is no longer cute.

HAMMER: At the Daytime Emmy Awards, SHOWBIZ TONIGHT was there as Ellen Degeneres, who was named best talk show host, said she was hopeful for a new Paris.

DEGENERES: Hopefully she means what she says. I hope she is reading good books, and I hope she comes out and changes her life a little because she needed to, and I hope she does it.

HAMMER: But Ellen is asking what was up with that dumb act?

DEGENERES: If that really is an act, if she really was playing dumb, then what does that say about our society that we`re celebrating someone who is successful because they`re not smart? I just think it`s a bad sign, and she shouldn`t contribute to that.

HAMMER: But if Paris Hilton really is planning to go from Hollywood wild woman to a more charitable world citizen, she`s getting some advice from someone else who made that transition, Angelina Jolie, who talked to me about Paris.

(on camera): We see Paris Hilton announcing that she`s going to start doing charitable work and making a transformation in her life, and we hope she will do that. You can somewhat relate though when you see the wildness involved in young Hollywood to what they`re all going through.

ANGELINA JOLIE, ACTRESS: I don`t think I relate exactly to what`s happening right now in young Hollywood, but certainly I relate to all young people being lost.

HAMMER: Jolie`s advice to Paris and her fellow Hollywood wild women, get away from Hollywood, at least for a while.

JOLIE: If you`re lost then get a backpack on and get out of town. Go somewhere where you can have some privacy and rediscover who you are and find your favorite books and meet some people and just be a regular person and learn how to reconnect to who you are. And then maybe come back if you want to. That time is very important.

HAMMER: Actress Vivica A. Fox, who faces her own DUI case, has more practical advice for Paris and everyone else who has been following her ordeal. Don`t drink and drive.

VIVICA A. FOX, ACTRESS: It is so not worth what you go through for getting a DUI. It`s on your record for ten years, and that sucks. My lesson to everybody, if you are going to drink, hire a driver.

HAMMER: All good advice. And in just a few days, Paris will get the chance to decide whether she wants to take it.

(END VIDEOTAPE)

HAMMER: So what does Paris need to do to keep that little career of hers going once she gets sprung from jail? With me tonight in New York, David Caplan of VH1`s new entertainment website PageSizzler.com, and Maggie Gallant, publicist and founder of Spotlight Communications. David, Maggie, I want to take this one step at a time with you guys. Let`s begin with when Paris first gets out of jail. There are these unconfirmed reports that are flying around that her dad Rick is actually looking for sponsors for some kind of get out of jail party for Paris, which I got to say I think is a pretty dumb idea.

David, any up side to throwing a party like that?

DAVID CAPLAN, VH1`s PAGESIZZLER.COM: We`re still hearing about the Hiltons out there looking for sponsors, like vodka sponsors and other beverage sponsors to have this party in Vegas. However, the deal hasn`t yet been signed. And we`re also hearing that Lindsay Lohan`s party in Vegas was also scrapped just because of bad press. I think we`re not going to see a Paris Hilton party just because everybody is outraged.

HAMMER: But it`s a stupid idea, David, isn`t it?

CAPLAN: Yes, it`s absolutely a bad idea, because it`s going to show that Paris Hilton isn`t a woman of her word. In prison we`ve heard how she`s found herself. It was all a dumb act. So for her to have a party is really reminiscent of the so-called old Paris. So it`s a bad idea, and it`s going to look like she wasn`t really saying what she meant when she was in prison.

HAMMER: If she doesn`t do the party, and doesn`t continue to party, it will be a big part of her transformation, because Paris certainly loves a party. We know in the past she used to make hundreds of thousands of dollars just for showing up at parties. Maggie, once she is out of jail, it seems to me like that would be a good business for her to get out of.

MAGGIE GALLANT, PUBLICIST, SPOTLIGHT COMMUNICATIONS: It`s definitely a good business for her to get out of. It`s getting old. She`s already told Barbara Walters that she`s done with this. And having a party sponsored by a liquor company, it`s making a joke out of drinking and driving. This is her opportunity to say, hey, I have grown up in the spotlight, and now I`m taking accountable for what I have done. And there`s going to be something new that you are going to see for me. And that`s going to keep people interested.

She`s already said herself that this dumb act is getting old for everyone. So we`re ready to see something new from her.

HAMMER: Yes, she said that she`s planning to lose the whole ditz act because she realizes it`s not cute at all. Let`s take a look right now at what Ellen Degeneres has to say about the whole dumb blonde act of Paris Hilton`s.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

DEGENERES: I would have her on, and I would say what I just said. You know, it`s -- she`s not getting anywhere doing that. And if that really is an act, if she really was playing dumb, then what does that say about our society that we`re celebrating someone who is successful because they`re not smart? I just think it`s a bad sign, and she shouldn`t contribute to that, and I hope -- it`s just amazing if that was an act the whole time.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

HAMMER: That was back stage at the Daytime Emmy Awards. David, what I still don`t understand, if she loses the dumb girl act, what`s left?

CAPLAN: There`s -- you dig, dig really deep, you`re going to find somebody who is really smart and knows how to manipulate people, the media, the press. What you need to do is really harness those powers that Paris has. We all know she does, because she really is this branding machine, and use it in ways she said she would, towards charities, towards some sort of good deeds, because she really does have the capability, the access to sort of, you know, make change, get people to listen to her.

Instead of getting people to listen to her being like, hey, come to this new nightclub that I`m slapping my name on, why don`t you invest in this charity I`m involved with? Invest in something else. She just really needs to change the focus of what Paris is known for. Instead of nightclubs, it should be something a little bit more positive and something that affects more people.

GALLANT: And she does know how to get people interested in her. She knows the art of what we call in the business the art of the sound byte. She knows how to get people to listen to what she has to say. So it`s time for her to be saying something new.

HAMMER: Here`s what I think, though, Maggie. No matter what she does in the long-term -- tell me if you agree with me -- is it the smartest thing for her to do right now is to just disappear for a few months once she is out of jail?

GALLANT: Look, there`s a lot of talk of her aligning herself with a charity, but what`s really important is that she`s authentic. People across this country are not going to buy it if the second she`s out of jail she already has her name attached to something. If she`s going to advocate on behalf of something, she needs to do the research. She needs to be prepared for the tough questions. And the best, smartest thing that she can do -- we are all on Paris overload -- is to just take a step back. If she can barely stand it, get out of the spotlight, at least for the short- term.

CAPLAN: Excellent plan. She has to get out of the spotlight. The best thing is when think of a star -- you see a star after a while and you`re like, hey, I haven`t seen them in a while. It generates interest again in that person. You don`t look at them as pejorative. So Paris Hilton needs to go away for a little bit.

HAMMER: Yes, it seems to me, if she were to do that right away after prison, when she came back, everybody would certainly be paying attention in a huge way. David Caplan, Maggie Gallant, I thank you both for joining us tonight.

Well, when I asked Angelina Jolie about Paris Hilton and all those other Hollywood bad girls, Angelina really had some very strong and smart advice for them. She said take a hike, literally. I`ve got that and a whole lot more from Angelina. You won`t want to miss it, including why Angelina`s new movie was so personal. My revealing, emotional one-on-one interview with Angelina Jolie at 31 past the hour. We also have this.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: Tell me you`re going to stop.

DAVID HASSELHOFF, ACTOR: I`m going to stop.

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: Promise?

HASSELHOFF: No.

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: Yes?

(END VIDEO CLIP

ANDERSON: David Hasselhoff completely drunk. He shocks everybody and gets custody of his kids. But Alec Baldwin is still barred from seeing his daughter. So what gives? I`ve got the daddy divorce dilemma next.

And Julia Roberts is a mommy again. I`ve got the latest on this pretty woman`s adorable new bundle of joy straight ahead.

(COMMERCIAL BREAK)

ANDERSON: Welcome back to SHOWBIZ TONIGHT. I`m Brooke Anderson in Hollywood. Tonight, the surprising results in two of the biggest, messiest custody battles in Hollywood. Even after the release of this damaging video, obtained by "Extra," of David Hasselhoff drunk out of his mind, Hasselhoff has just won custody of his two teenage daughters, one of whom shot the video.

At the same time, Alec Baldwin is back in court battling Kim Bassinger, following that now infamous angry voicemail to his daughter where he called her a thoughtless, rude little pig. So which is worse, and did anybody truly get a raw deal? With me tonight in New York Susan Moss, attorney with the firm Chemtob, Moss Forman and Talbert, and here in Hollywood Pat Lalama, investigative journalist.

Ladies, before we being, I want to kick it off with a look at the two now infamous tapes featuring these fathers.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: Tell me you`re going to stop.

HASSELHOFF: I am going to stop.

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: Promise?

HASSELHOFF: No.

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: Yes?

ALEC BALDWIN, ACTOR: You are a rude, thoughtless, little pig, OK?

(END VIDEO CLIP)

ANDERSON: Hard to watch, hard to listen to. And Susan, here`s what I don`t get: on the surface David Hasselhoff inebriated, incapacitated, seems more egregious than Alec Baldwin yelling at his kids. But you have David getting custody. And then you have Alec, who can`t even visit his daughter. Which do you think is worse?

SUSAN MOSS, CHEMTOB, MOSS, FORMAN & TALBERT: Oh, absolutely, Alec Baldwin is worse. He called his child a thoughtless, rude, little pig. You really can`t go far from that. I got to tell you something, Hoff`s wife, she grabbed defeat out of the jaws of victory. She had a tape with her husband, who was supposed to be supervising the kids, drunk, not even able to eat that now infamous hamburger. It`s -- the whole thing is crazy. But certainly Alec Baldwin did the greater bad.

ANDERSON: Grabbed defeat out of the jaws of victory. I like that, Susan. Pat, what do you think? Weigh in, which is worse?

PAT LALAMA, INVESTIGATIVE JOURNALIST: Well, I`ll tell you what, none of it`s good. And I`m going to go with right to privacy over right -- public`s right to know in either of these cases. I think both the cases -- because we still don`t know what the judge is going to decide about who leaked that tape. I`m talking about Alec Baldwin`s case.

I think that this smear campaign that ex`s try to perpetrate against their angry -- They`re angry and they want to get back at their ex`s. I think that`s going to come back to haunt them. I think whatever David Hasselhoff is guilty of on this tape, the judge must have thought that something far worse was going on the mother`s side. And I think you`re going to find the same thing that`s going to happen with Kim Bassinger.

ANDERSON: I want to talk about that for a moment, because many people were really shocked that David Hasselhoff was awarded custody. But then, on the other hand, Hasselhoff has accused his ex-wife of drug use, which she`s denied. Listen to what she told "LARRY KING LIVE" just last month about that.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

PAMELA BACH, EX-WIFE OF DAVID HASSELHOFF: You know what, I don`t do drugs. I don`t do drugs.

LARRY KING, CNN ANCHOR: Did they do a hair sample?

BACH: They did a hair sample and lab that`s attached. It come -- it came back saying positive. I`m, like, I know my truth. I know who I am.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

ANDERSON: OK, well, while we don`t know for sure why Hasselhoff got custody of the kids, Susan, you are an attorney. Could possible drug use, which Bach has denied, could that be a determining factor?

MOSS: Well, it`s been reported that Pamela Bach was asked to take drug testing and that she refused. That certainly doesn`t sound very good, and I`ll tell you something, glass houses isn`t just an album by Billy Joel.

ANDERSON: Going all the way back to the 1980s for that one. I like it, Susan. As far as Alec Baldwin is concerned, he still can`t visit his daughter, Ireland. And he was just in court saying that he has been incredibly frustrated by this process. Pat, what do you think? Is he getting a raw deal?

LALAMA: I do. Look, let me just say that -- I`m not saying any of these are poster parents, best parents of the year, but the fact of the matter, it`s so wrong for we the media or any member of the public to take these isolated tapes and decide they should go to hell; they should burn in hell. It`s not fair, because I have covered this particular case, and I know that there are allegations that Kim has done everything in her power to use that child to get back at Alec. Those are the allegations.

I think it`s unfair for us for to try to weigh in on this when you don`t know what the silent person is doing.

ANDERSON: No, you don`t know, and it has been very bitter, going on five years. Susan, what will make this end?

MOSS: Well, apparently the child getting married. Apart from that, I don`t see an ending in sight. There`s a more serious issue, and the serious issue is that men often do get the short end in custody litigation. Although our laws are supposed to be gender neutral, in reality moms usually get the nods over dad. Apparently that`s the reason why Mother`s Day comes before Father`s Day.

ANDERSON: I don`t know about that one. We are going to have to leave it there. Susan Moss, Pat Lalama, thank you both. You`re great.

MOSS: Thank you.

LALAMA: Thank you.

HAMMER: What do you think? We want to hear from you for our SHOWBIZ TONIGHT question of the day. David Hasselhoff wins custody; are you shocked he got the kids? Let us know. ANDERSON: OK, from daddy duels to woman warfare. Get ready for the nastiest, most vicious celebrity cat fights ever. And, yes, there`s even something we can all learn from these unlady-like battles. That`s at 45 past the hour. Hair pulling not included. Also this.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

JOLIE: Get a backpack on and get out of town. Go somewhere where you can have some privacy and rediscover who you are.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

HAMMER: I go one-on-one with the truly amazing lady, Angelina Jolie. I get her to reveal a whole lot, including why she thinks out of control young Hollywood stars have got to just hit the road. She also opens up about why her new movie is so personal. My revealing interview with Angelina Jolie coming up.

ANDERSON: And "The Price Is Right" could have a -- let me try this -- a brand new host. Her name could be Rosie. I`ve got that stunning news straight ahead.

(COMMERCIAL BREAK)

ANDERSON: OK, so even though Rosie O`Donnell wasn`t at the Daytime Emmy Awards this weekend, everybody was talking about her. One reason, Bob Barker, who just retired from "The Price Is Right," thinks Rosie could definitely come on down and replace him.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

BOB BARKER, "THE PRICE IS RIGHT": She knows the show. And so far as doing it, there`s no doubt in my mind that she could do the show.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

ANDERSON: On her website, Rosie says she`s meeting with Price producers this week. And if they offer her the job, she would do it. OK, so also at the Emmys, the big question -- who should replace Rosie on "The View?"

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

SPRINGER: I think they should let me on the show, and I`ll put on a dress. I think it will work. Picture it. You got these beautiful woman there, and then you`ve got me in my dress, with the spaghetti straps and blue pumps. I would look great. I could do it, and I think it`s a new perspective. It`s a view. It`s a different view.

FOX: No desire whatsoever. I have loyalty to Star Jones. We are very good friends, and I would go on there to promote my work, absolutely. But I would feel that would be betrayal for me to go on "The View," as far as I`m concerned.

DEGENERES: They`re talking about Paris, right? That`s not going to happen. I don`t think Paris. I think Sherry Shepherd was great on "The View."

(END VIDEO CLIP)

ANDERSON: I agree with that. This weekend Rosie said this about her time on "The View," "I`ve been hanging around with those heteros for a full year and it`s not fun. Turn around one minute and they`ll stab you in the back with a high heel." Rosie.

HAMMER: Wow. Brooke, Britney Spears probably feels like she was hit with a heel after reading a letter she got this weekend. Boy, was it nasty. I`m going to tell you what it says coming up. Also this.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

JOLIE: They just find us silly. They just find us -- we`re their parents, so -- oh, dad, mom.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

HAMMER: My very revealing one-on-one interview with Angelina Jolie, opening up about her family life with Brad Pitt and the kids. Plus, her controversial advice for the out of control young Hollywood stars at 31 past the hour.

ANDERSON: And, A.J., a pretty baby for a very pretty woman. Julia Roberts gives birth again. I`ve got all the details still to come right here on SHOWBIZ TONIGHT. Don`t go anywhere.

(NEWSBREAK)

(COMMERCIAL BREAK)

HAMMER: The nastiest, ugliest, most vicious celebrity cat fights ever.

Tonight, SHOWBIZ TONIGHT picks the most jaw-dropping females free for alls. What turns these lovely ladies into women warriors? Plus, what the rest of us can actually learn from these brutal brawls? The claws come out as SHOWBIZ TONIGHT picks the nastiest celebrity cat fights of all time.

Welcome back to SHOWBIZ TONIGHT. It`s 30 minutes past the hour. I`m A.J. Hammer in New York.

ANDERSON: And I`m Brooke Anderson in Hollywood. You are watching TV`s most provocative entertainment news show.

HAMMER: Tonight Angelina Jolie tells wild, young Hollywood stars to get out of town. I went one-on-one with Jolie while she was out promoting the emotional film "A Mighty Heart". It`s based on the life of slain journalist Daniel Pearl.

Jolie was stunningly candid with me about what it takes to stay grounded in Hollywood, which, as we all know, something that is awfully tough to do.

One thing I wanted to on know, what led to her remarkable transformation from Hollywood wild child to international ambassador?

ANGELINA JOLIE, ACTRESS, U.N. AMBASSADOR: I was raised by a really caring mom who was always so generous, and took me to Amnesty International events when I was 10. So, I was always somewhat around a conscious people - - and my father very just aware of these things. I think, like most people, when you hit your teens, you feel -- you feel that you are the -- you know, the world`s coming down on you.

HAMMER: Whether you are a Hollywood star or not.

JOLIE: Yeah. You go through a period of being less aware of the world around you and more selfish, and then you have the great fortune of, you know, hopefully if you are lucky, meeting the right people, going the right places, and being, you know, inside the world that really matters; and becoming very clear to you, and that just was a great gift that I got early on from my travels as an actor and as my work U.N. CR (ph).

And I`m still -- I`m still a lot of all different types of people, but I am certainly a better woman for having traveled and met other people.

HAMMER: We just think so much of young Hollywood could obviously learn from your example. When you see the sort of meltdown that`s going on, whether they are teens or teens working out of Hollywood. We see Paris Hilton announcing that she`s going to start doing charitable work, and making a transformation in life, and we hope she will do that.

So you can somewhat relate, though, when you see the wildness in young Hollywood to what they`re all going through?

JOLIE: I don`t think I relate exactly to what`s happening right now in young Hollywood, but certainly I relate to all young people being lost. And I think this business certainly doesn`t help sometimes. And I think it`s hard to find your way through to kind of get away from it all and ago somewhere and maybe try to find yourself as a woman; and that would be the advice I would give to all of them -- to --

HAMMER: How would you help them get out the other end because we see it happen sometimes? We see people work through it, and sometimes people need a push in the right direction, and that`s not always coming from the parents.

JOLIE: I think that`s for people in Hollywood and just regular young people to surround yourself by good friends and listen to -- hopefully you have good family. And if you can`t and if you are lost, then get a backpack on, and get out of town. Go somewhere -- go somewhere where you can have some privacy and rediscover who you are and find your favorite books; and meet some people and just be a regular person and learn how to reconnect to who you are. Then maybe come back if you want to. But that time is very important.

HAMMER: You and Brad must talk an awful lot about how to keep your kids grounded in light of the fact that they`re living with two of the most famous people in the world, and I imagine traveling --

JOLIE: Who they think are ridiculous.

HAMMER: Is that true? Is that how they see Angie and Brad?

JOLIE: Yeah.

HAMMER: What do they say?

JOLIE: Oh, they just find us silly. They just find us, you know -- they -- we`re their parents, so we`re just -- you know, oh, dad, mom.

HAMMER: So they`re keeping you grounded?

JOLIE: Yes, very much.

(BEGIN MOVIE CLIP)

JOLIE: Forgive me for correcting you, but it is absolutely the business of a journalist?

(END MOVIE CLIP)

HAMMER: Have you ever made a movie where you became so personally emotionally invested?

JOLIE: No, no. This was a really difficult one. I think for people watching, I think it`s for the audience as well, will remind them of that time and this story in some ways is personal to all of us. But, yes, on top of it, I did get to know Mariane and her son, and Ruth and Juda Pearl (ph). We felt a great responsibility and it made it very difficult to do.

HAMMER: I also understand Mariane chose you to play her. Was that -- were you honored by that? Were you humbled by it? Intimidated by it?

JOLIE: All three. Absolutely. I was very intimidated and very, very humbled, and I -- and I think if it wasn`t -- if that wasn`t the case, I probably wouldn`t have done it. It was because somehow this woman felt -- and I do feel that we had many things as friends, as women in common, and that -- and that it helps her to have faith in me to be able to do this, and do it with, I guess, the right intentions.

HAMMER: This will be part of the record of Daniel Pearl`s life that her son will now have, at some point when he is old enough to see it. Dan Federman (ph) told me how that was extraordinarily daunting.

JOLIE: That was really hard for us. Probably the most difficult thing is just knowing that having both spent some time with Adam, and knowing that one day we were going to be somehow one of the images that would kind of give him a sense of how much his parents loved each other, and how connected they were, and how great the loss was.

HAMMER: When I was seeing scenes in India, for me it flashed me back to those images we saw of you when you weren`t working, just being absolutely hounded by the paparazzi. Something you and I have actually talked about before. I was wondering, now that I have seen the movie, how much that interfered with doing such an emotional project having all of these outside interferences.

JOLIE: It was actually all right because I was inside the gates, where this house was. It was hardest for Brad. He was there with the kids, and taking care of the kids, and they were very limited in where they could go. It`s hard to be stuck in a tiny little place with three children and try to entertain them for two months while Mom is working.

It was difficult. For that, it makes me sad, when I see my kids trapped and wanting them to just be able to go for walks, and go meet people and do things, and it was -- it wasn`t possible there.

(END VIDEOTAPE)

HAMMER: Easily the finest performance of Angelina Jolie`s career. "A Mighty Heart" opens nationwide this Friday. You can catch more of Angelina Jolie on CNN`s "AC 360". Anderson Cooper sits down with Jolie for a special report, "Without A Home: Refugees in Crisis." That`s on "AC 360," Wednesday night 10:00 Eastern.

ANDERSON: SHOWBIZ TONIGHT has happy news to report tonight. Julia Roberts is a mom again. Reps for the Oscar-winning actress tell SHOWBIZ TONIGHT Henry Daniel Moder came into the world in Los Angeles at a pretty healthy weight of 8.5 pounds. The almost-40 Roberts, and husband Danny Moder, are already parents to twins Hazel and Fineous (ph) who turn two in November. Roberts took time away from Hollywood to raise her family. She will next be seen on the big screen alongside Tom Hanks in "Charlie Wilson`s War". That comes out Christmas.

HAMMER: Julia Roberts is quoted as saying she developed an instant crush on her husband Danny when they met. But SHOWBIZ TONIGHT can tell you millions have watched a new video that`s making the viral video rounds, where one woman is actually confessing her undying crush on -- not Matthew McConaughey, not George Clooney, not Brad Pitt -- but Barack Obama. The question is, is it really a romantic crush, or a crush for publicity? Here`s CNN`s Jeannie Moos for SHOWBIZ TONIGHT.

(BEGIN VIDEOTAPE)

JEANNE MOOS, CNN CORRESPONDENT (voice over): Don`t worry, Mrs. Obama, even though the girl in the video calls your husband B for Barack.

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: Hey, B, it`s me. If you`re there, pick up. I was just watching you on C-Span.

MOOS: Yeah, well, everyone is watching this online, it`s called "I Got A Crush On Obama".

FEMALE SINGER: I never wanted anybody more than I want you.

MOOS (on camera): So do you now have a crush on Obama?

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: Yeah, a little bit. Definitely.

FEMALE SINGER: Cuz I got a crush on Obama. I can`t wait `til 2008, baby, you`re the best candidate --

MOOS (voice over): Actually these two have never met, and model Amber Lee Ettinger is just lip synching the work of these three.

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: Whose brain child was it? Yeah, it kind of came - -

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: I`d call it a collaborative effort.

MOOS: Between a journalism student, a record producer, and a digital marketing guy. They want to make comedy videos for their new website, Barely Political. And they happen to be big Obama fans.

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: We have a little crush on Obama, actually.

MOOS (on camera): Who`s we?

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: We all have a little crush on him.

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: We all do.

MOOS: They recruited Amber, the model, and ran around New York, shooting the video in a matter of hours.

FEMALE SINGER: You`re into border security, let`s break this border between you and me --

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: That`s hot. That`s cute right there. She`s showing her assets.

MOOS: He`s referring to her custom made -- uh --

(On camera): What do they call them?

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: Booty shorts.

(LAUGHTER)

MOOS: Now, they are selling "I Got A Crush On Obama" T-shirts. The lyrics were co-written and performed by Leah Kauffman.

FEMALE SINGER: I cannot wait to 2008, Baby, you`re the best candidate --

MOOS: This same group did another popular online video. Maybe you heard about the "Saturday Night Live" skit featuring Justin Timberlake, presenting male anatomy in a box, as a gift. These three did a video response from the female point of view.

As for the Obama video --

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: This is, you know, social commentary.

MOOS: But the Obama campaign wouldn`t comment. Except to say they had nothing to do with the video.

(On camera): Have you heard from his wife?

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: No, not yet. Not yet.

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: Cuz I gotta crush on Obama.

MOOS: But which Obama? One viewer posted -- I have a crush on Mrs. Obama.

FEMALE SINGER: I got a crush on Obama --

MOOS: She`ll crush him if she sits down. Jeanne Moos, CNN, New York.

HAMMER: That was CNN`s Jeanne Moos for SHOWBIZ TONIGHT. We are still checking to see if there`s a ra-ra for Rudy, somewhere.

Well, Britney Spears is getting some motherly advice tonight. Or I should say, more of a motherly smack down. And get this, it`s from the mother of another former Hollywood bad girl. I have to say this is really nasty, and frankly, a lot of fun to hear about. I`ll tell you what was said, coming up.

ANDERSON: And nasty hardly describes what was a long-standing feud between Paris Hilton and Nicole Richie. Hey, even I have to admit I love a good catfight, which is why I can`t wait to bring you the ugliest, nastiest celebrity catfights, ever.

HAMMER: And then there`s the cat that loves to toot its own horn. Really. I`m not kidding. This cat toots a horn in a truck. And so much more. I made us say, "That`s Ridiculous!" You will, too, when SHOWBIZ TONIGHT comes right back.

(COMMERCIAL BREAK)

HAMMER: Welcome back to SHOWBIZ TONIGHT, TV`s most provocative entertainment news show. I`m A.J. Hammer in New York.

Time now for another story that made us say, "That`s Ridiculous!" Take a look at Bubba, this is Bubba, The Cat. Now, Bubba probably has seen more American miles than you and I. No Wayne and Kathy Widenin (ph) picked up Bubba on the side of the road. He has been their regular companion for more than a million miles. That`s astonishing enough.

But get this, Wayne even got the feline to figure out how to eject CDs from the CD player, and how to hit the horn when it`s time to move on to the next stop.

We`re still trying to get the official SHOWBIZ TONIGHT cat, Oliver Martin, to figure out how to set the remote control so he can catch our show at 11 o`clock.

But a tunsis (ph), who toots, when it`s time to truck on, now, "That`s Ridiculous!"

ANDERSON: Now, Bubba is one cat who seems content, but what about catfights? You know, the really nasty kind. Hollywood has seen plenty of them, and we all love to hear about them. But which celebrity catfights were the cats meow?

SHOWBIZ TONIGHT here at your service with some of the ugliest celebrity catfights of all time. Back with us again tonight in Hollywood, celebrity journalist Pat Lalama.

Thanks for sticking around, Pat.

All right. Here we go with our first celebrity cat fight. And you know, we talked about this one for a really long time, Paris Hilton and Nicole Richie. They were friends since childhood, had a falling out, didn`t talk to each other for about a year, even when they were filming their show "The Simple Life."

Pat, what made it so incredibly ugly?

PAT LALAMA, CELEBRITY JOURNALIST: Well, they`ve had been friends, I think, since they were three and four years old. And stuck through with each other thick and thin. Lionel said they always had little spats and came back together. This one was bad because allegedly Nicole had a showing of Paris`s sex tape. If that`s true and she did with any kind of malice I could see where that is the end of a friendship.

ANDERSON: That`s pretty ugly. We do know they`re friendly again now. Paris, currently behind bars. Nicole facing possible jail time for DUI. What can we learn from them and how they made up?

LALAMA: I think what we learned is that friends, and friends who see the value in sticking together for a long time work their problems out, just like in a marriage. You weigh, is it worth it? If you decide it`s worth it, you sit down and figure out a resolution. And the fact that both of them are either are in jail or facing it, might have something to do with both of them growing up and learning that life isn`t just looking pretty and partying, and there are more important things.

ANDERSON: There are more important things other than yourself. Don`t be quite so self-absorbed.

LALAMA: Exactly.

ANDERSON: Now moving it our next celebrity cat fight. Rosie O`Donnell and Elizabeth Hasselbeck. You know, when these two were co-hosts on "The View" together they claimed they were friends, Pat, but it got really bitter at the end. So bitter that Rosie left early. Pat, this was really nasty.

LALAMA: Oh, boloney. You know what, I mean, here`s the deal. I got to tell you, I get in near fist fights with my friends over Iraq, OK? We`re still friends. I think they like each other. I think the story behind this is that Rosie wanted out. She was done with "The View." She wanted her own deal. Maybe even "The Price Is Right," as you mentioned earlier.

The fact of the matter is this was the perfect way to say I just can`t take it anymore. Rosie can take it. She`s a tough chick, and I think at the next cocktail party they`re at together, they`ll be hugging and kissing. I think this was just an excuse to say good-bye.

ANDERSON: All right. Yeah, Rosie is a tough cookie. So, maybe you`re right. It was completely her way out. All right.

Our next cat fight on the list, we`ve got Heather Lockleer and Denise Richards. They were best friends. Denise gets divorced from Charlie Sheen. Heather helped her through it. The next thing you know, Pat, Denise is running off with heather`s ex, Richie Sambora. Should you ever go there?

LALAMA: Never touch that woman again. Never walk into the same room with her. That is a deal breaker, and, you know what, I`m sorry Richie is in rehab. I feel sorry for anybody who is in rehab. But, you know, they`re not together anymore, he and Denise. And I say, instant karma is going to get you. It`s just too bad.

You don`t do that to a friend, for heaven`s sakes! I would never look at her again. I wouldn`t try to seek revenge, but that`s the end of that. No forgiveness.

ANDERSON: You know, Denise and Richie didn`t even work out to end up with, you know?

LALAM: Absolutely. Too bad.

ANDERSON: So, nobody is friends, and nobody is romantic either. All right. The last cat fight on our list, we`ve got Gwyneth Paltrow and Winona Ryder. They were BFF. Gwyneth even moved into Winona`s pad after she broke off her engagement to Brad Pitt.

LALAMA: Right.

ANDERSON: But we never see them together anymore. What happened with these two?

LALAMA: It`s allegedly over "Shakespeare In Love", the movie, that there was this competition between the two of them. We know who got it, and got great kudos for it.

ANDERSON: And an Oscar.

LALAMA: Absolutely!

I`m going to say, if you`re going to let competition -- some of my best girlfriends are TV news women. We`re fighting for each other`s jobs all the time. After the job is over, you get the job, I still love you honey. I`m pushing for you. I think this was something else. I think they just kind of went their separate ways. I think they outgrew each other. That happens with friends sometimes. I don`t think it was about "Shakespeare In Love".

ANDERSON: Maybe went on to different stages of their lives.

LALAMA: Absolutely.

ANDERSON: Any lessons we can learn from this one?

LALAMA: Well, that you don`t -- you know, look, I think we, the media, sometimes make these things bigger than they are. I have a lot of girlfriends that at one time we had lots in common. Today, you know, I don`t know so much. I think we should learn. We`re allowed to go our separate ways.

ANDERSON: And just move on. All right. Pat Lalama, our good friend, investigative journalist, thanks so much.

LALAMA: Absolutely. Thanks.

ANDERSON: Bye-bye.

All right. We just brought you the nastiest celebrity catfights ever, but hold on just a second because the here`s another one brewing, big-time. On one side, Britney Spears, on the other, the mother of another controversial Hollywood star. You don`t want to miss what she has to say. Stay with us.

(COMMERCIAL BREAK)

HAMMER: Ladies and gentlemen, please take out your standard issue emery boards, because here comes another catfight in the making.

Britney Spears finding herself in the crosshairs of none other than Candy Spelling, the gazillionaire widow of TV producer Aaron Spelling, and of course, the mother of Tori Spelling.

Candy has penned a second open letter. This time around it`s to tabloid tart Britney Spears. I will quote for you some of the juiciest parts, from said letter, as posted on TMZ.com.

Dear Britney, "Unlike some others who are famous for being famous, you initially earned the fame and respect you achieved. You were a giant star, a Moussekateer. You made some missteps. We all do.

But, when you become more famous for hideous, irresponsible actions than accomplishments, it`s time to step back and figure out where you want your life to go. So many young girls still see you as a role model. Give those girls a reason to look up to you."

But, wait, there`s more. She continues. "Enough with the sorry grabs for attention. Deep down, especially for your sons, people want you to succeed. You can always get attention if you need it. Visit someone famous in jail and attract a zillion photographers if you are that addicted to fame.

"Americans like winners. We like those stories about what people do with second chances. How about a moratorium on train wrecks and some time out for paying back the fans who helped you succeed?"

Candy Spelling, thank you. We couldn`t agree with you more.

ANDERSON: On Friday we asked you to vote on our SHOWBIZ TONIGHT question of the day. It was this: Young Hollywood, is Paris Hilton the worst role model of them all? And 66 percent of you say yes. And 34 percent of you say no. Here are some of the emails we received.

Dennis from Arkansas writes, "It order to be famous one must do something important. Ms. Hilton hasn`t anything famous attached to her name, except her father`s money."

Terri from Mississippi says, that "while Paris Hilton is no role model, Britney Spears is a mom and doing all stuff? She needs to consider her every action with her children in mind!"

HAMMER: Let us now take a look at what is coming up on SHOWBIZ TONIGHT. Tomorrow, sure, Robin Williams will make you laugh. So will Jim Carey. But when the lights go down, there really can be a very dark side to comedy that can be most disturbing. It`s a SHOWBIZ TONIGHT special report tomorrow.

Also tomorrow, Matthew McConaughey, just named "People" magazine`s hottest bachelor. But who should he be dating? The same questions for the likes of Jennifer Aniston and George Clooney. SHOWBIZ TONIGHT brings you the matchmakers to the stars. That`s tomorrow.

That is it for SHOWBIZ TONIGHT. Thank you so much for watching. I`m A.J. Hammer in New York.

ANDERSON: Have a great night everybody. And I`m Brooke Anderson in Hollywood. "Glenn Beck" coming up next. Right after the latest headlines from CNN "Headline News." Take care.
