THIS IS A RUSH TRANSCRIPT. THIS COPY MAY NOT BE IN ITS FINAL FORM AND MAY BE UPDATED.

A.J. HAMMER, SHOWBIZ TONIGHT ANCHOR: Will other stars face tough new legal problems because of Paris, Nicole and Lindsay?
And Donald Trump`s new TV show inspired by Rosie O`Donnell. Huh? I`m A.J. Hammer in New York. TV`s most provocative entertainment news show starts right now.

Star plastic surgery successes and nightmares. Tonight, whose nips and tucks were terrific, and whose were, well, just plain terrible.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: The surgery came out terrible.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

HAMMER: Plus, does going under the knife really change their life? SHOWBIZ TONIGHT investigates when bad nose and boob jobs happen to good stars.

Hello, I`m A.J. Hammer in New York. And the worst may be yet to come for Lindsay Lohan and Nicole Richie. Could they be facing jail? That is coming up. But first tonight, O.J., say it ain`t so. Whoops, too late. He already did. Tonight, for the very first time, you are going to hear the chilling and graphic description by O.J. Simpson about what might have really happened the night his ex-wife Nicole and her friend Ron Goldman were murdered, if he had been there.

The shock and outrage over O.J`s book, "If I Did It," has reared its ugly head again, because now we know what O.J. really said. And let me tell you, what you are about to hear is so disturbing, it will make your skin crawl.

(BEGIN VIDEOTAPE)

HARVEY LEVIN, TMZ.COM: He is a piece of crap.

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: This is one of the most repulsive, disgusting, hideous spectacles I have ever seen.

HOWARD KURTZ, "THE WASHINGTON POST": This is the most appalling, shameless, exploitative thing I have heard of in the history of television.

HAMMER (voice-over): O.J. Simpson`s "If I did It May" have been the most controversial book and TV deal never released. It was O.J. Simpson`s pseudo-confession of what would have happened if he had killed his ex-wife Nicole Brown and her friend Ron Goldman. Remember, O.J.`s key word is if.

The book was pulled last year because of the out cry. So was the planned Fox network TV special.

O.J. SIMPSON, FORMER NFL STAR: I don`t think any two people could be murdered without everybody being covered in blood.

HAMMER: Now SHOWBIZ TONIGHT brings you the disturbing excerpts from O.J.`s aborted book.

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: It really spells out in some detail how these killings happened.

HAMMER: Yes, it`s more gruesome than you could ever imagine. And SHOWBIZ TONIGHT asks the big question, just how graphically does it detail those double murders? Why in the world would the families of the victims want to publish it? Most of all, who is Charlie? Mysterious accomplice or imaginary friend?

TMZ.com posted excerpts from O.J.`s aborted book on its site, just days after a court awarded a claim on the rights to the book to the family of Ron Goldman.

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: It`s sickening to think of O.J. writing down the reasons why he killed two innocent people.

HAMMER: And sickening it is. O.J. details confronting Ron Goldman outside of Nicole Brown Simpson`s condo as a dying Nicole lay nearby. "Goldman started circling me, bobbing and weaving. And if I hadn`t been so (EXPLETIVE DELETED) angry, I would have laughed in his face. O.J., come on. It was Charlie again, pleading.

Wait. Who is Charlie?

LISA BLOOM, COURT TV ANCHOR: He brings into this this Charlie person. It seems to be a fictional character. As if O.J. and Charlie were in cahoots when they killed these two people.

HAMMER: O.J. continues writing, quote, "I noticed the knife in Charlie`s hand. And in one deft move, I remove my right glove and snatched it up. We`re not going anywhere, I said, turning to face Goldman. Goldman was still circling me, bobbing and weaving. But I didn`t feel like laughing anymore. You think you`re tough (EXPLETIVE DELETED) I said.

BLOOM: He said Ron Goldman assumed a karate stance, and that only aggravated O.J. all the more.

HAMMER: Then, O.J. writes, something went horribly wrong. And I know what happened, but I can`t tell you exactly how. I was still standing in Nicole`s courtyard, of course, but for a few moments I couldn`t remember how I`d gotten there, when I`d arrived, or even why I was there."

He concludes the disturbing scene by writing, quote, "I looked down at myself. For several moments, I couldn`t get my mind around what I was seeing. The whole front of me was covered in blood, but it didn`t compute. Is this really blood I wondered. And whose blood is it? Is it mine? Am I hurt?

BLOOM: If people read it, they have to take it with a big grain of salt, maybe a whole box of salt, because we don`t know if it`s truth or fiction.

HAMMER: Now, the Goldman family have a claim to the rights to the book, as part of the 30 million dollar civil judgment the family has against O.J. Simpson. That judgment remains mostly unpaid. But Ron`s father, Fred, hopes to change that by publishing O.J.`s book. We talked about it on CNN`s "AC 360."

FRED GOLDMAN, FATHER OF RON GOLDMAN: The fact is that he murdered two people, and I would like everybody to hear him virtually say it.

HAMMER: But he is not too happy with TMZ.com for posting the book excerpts. He has filed a contempt of court motion against the site.

GOLDMAN: There`s no question that putting it on the website and in its entirety, for that matter, has severely damaged its value.

HAMMER: TMZ.com is owned by Time Warner, which also owns this network. TMZ tells SHOWBIZ TONIGHT, quote, "we did nothing wrong, and we are not covered by or in violation of the court`s turnover order." But if O.J.`s book does see the light of day, it will attract plenty of eyeballs. Court TV`s Lisa Bloom tells SHOWBIZ TONIGHT that knowing O.J. wouldn`t profit from it increases the chances she`ll read the book.

BLOOM: Sure, I would read it.

HAMMER: But regardless of who profits from it, the gruesome description of the nation`s most notorious double murder is no less disturbing.

(END VIDEOTAPE)

HAMMER: Well, late today a federal bankruptcy court ordered TMZ to turn over all the copies of O.J. Simpson`s book and to cooperate in the investigation of exactly how the whole thing got leaked to begin with. TMZ.com tells us they weren`t the original source of the manuscript. It appeared on several other websites days before it wound up on TMZ. In fact, TMZ also tells me that the link to the manuscript was only up on the site for less than ten minutes before they voluntarily removed it.

Well tonight, more danger ahead for the party girls, Nicole Richie and Lindsay Lohan. But will it mean that just like Paris, they are going to find out what life is like behind bars? Nicole Richie has decided she wants to go to trial on her DUI charge, rather than face the music without a fight. And even though Lindsay may be about to get out of rehab, let`s not forget her own DUI charge following her car crash last month, not to mention the cocaine police say they found in her car.

Joining me tonight in New York is Josh Hanshaft. He`s the deputy bureau chief of the Brooklyn District Attorney`s Office. In Hollywood tonight -- Hi there Josh -- Jane Velez-Mitchell, investigative journalist and author of this hot new book that is flying off the shelves everywhere, "Secrets Can be Murder." Find your copy in the stores now.

Josh and Jane, I appreciate you being with us tonight. I have to tell you, many of us were truly surprised when we heard that Nicole Richie was actually going to fight this DUI charge. It`s now set for July 11th hearing. Given, Jane, that this is her second DUI charge, given that she was caught driving the wrong way on the freeway, given that the cops say she admitted to smoking pop and popping Vicodin, what could she possibly be thinking by trying to fight this thing?

JANE VELEZ-MITCHELL, INVESTIGATIVE JOURNALIST: Well, I think she`s thinking that if she has good lawyers, which she does, she might be able to win it. I just got off the phone with one of L.A.`s top DUI attorneys, and he said it`s a lot harder to prove DUI when it`s drugs than when it`s alcohol, because with alcohol there`s a very easy test, and either you are over the limit or you are not.

But she, remember, allegedly told cops that she was smoking pot and taking Vicodin when she was allegedly found driving the wrong way on a freeway. And even though she admits that, that is not enough to lock her away. They have to do the test, and they have to prove whatever was found in her system is enough to impair her. And that`s a lot more complicated when it involves pot, because she could have been taking pot three days before.

HAMMER: So it`s kind of like it makes sense to do whatever she can to fight it, because really, what has she got to lose, and may as well use all the legal means at her disposal. Go ahead Josh.

JOSH HANSHAFT, ASSISTANT DA, NEW YORK CITY: There`s a lot of levels. Before they get to that trial, they`re going to have a lot of hearings to say what is going to happen to that evidence. And she`s hoping that a lot of the evidence gets thrown out on constitutional issues and different areas.

HAMMER: They`re look at technicalities, possibly. And, of course, all eyes are going to be firmly fixed on exactly how this is handled, because we all remember the uproar when Paris Hilton was let out of jail and thrown back into jail, how everyone said she was being made an example of. Josh, I`m curious if you think that that could actually work against Nicole here? The judge would perhaps be skiddish about any appearance of any special treatment or impropriety.

HANSHAFT: I think what happened -- you can look at a lunatic judge; you can look at somebody who is jockeying for attention, but I think in general most judges, most sheriffs, most people who are in the judicial system try to be fair and treat each case on its merits or individually. So do I think it will work against the four? If it`s how the justice system should work, which most of the time it does, is to say that they`re going to treat her fairly, individually.

HAMMER: Yes, we all know that that`s not always the reality.

HANSHAFT: It`s not.

HAMMER: Lindsay Lohan, let`s talk about her. She could be out of rehab any day now, but she still, of course, faces the DUI charge. She still faces the possibility of being connected to the cocaine that police say they found in her car after she crashed it there on Sunset Boulevard. Jane, if you were in Lindsay Lohan`s shoes, with all that lingering, would you be worried?

MITCHELL: If I were in Lindsay Lohan`s shoes, I would stay in rehab as long as I possibly could so that I could argue to the judge, hey, judge, look, I have changed. I have hit bottom. I have learned the error of my ways, and I am not going to do this again. But given that, she could be in big trouble, because if they decide to throw the book at her, there`s a possibility, of course, that it`s not just the DUI, but it could be a possible drug charge. It could be even leaving the scene of an accident, because she left the scene to go to the hospital.

And then, of course, when she got out of the hospital, she went partying again. But I talked to actual officials in this case. They say that this case is still being investigated. The devil is in the details. We`re going have to see exactly what charges they come up with.

HAMMER: See, I think all this attention on Hollywood and stars getting in trouble is making some of the celebs a little bit nervous. Josh, do you think the bar has been raised for celebrities now to be on their best behavior, at least not get caught if they`re on their bad behavior, because judges are either chomping at the bit to make examples of them and toss their butts in jail, or just looking for anybody to latch on to here?

HANSHAFT: You can`t avoid everywhere. So people are going -- Paris Hilton goes to jail for a substantial time. It`s got to affect everybody. Sure, there are some people who are so involved in drugs and so out of control and so privileged that they may not even pay attention to it, but it has to have some effect on some people, to say, you know what, I don`t want to see the inside of a jail cell, and I`m going to get myself under control.

HAMMER: Maybe stay home with your friends and open a nice bottle of wine. And certainly hire a driver if you have to get out on the road. Jane Velez-Mitchell, Josh Hanshaft, Thanks both for joining us tonight.

MITCHELL: Thanks, A.J.

HAMMER: And now we`d like to hear from you for our SHOWBIZ TONIGHT question of the day. Here`s what we want to know, Nicole Richie`s second DUI, if convicted, should she go to jail? Let us know what you think at CNN.com/SHOWBIZTONIGHT. You can also email at SHOWBIZTONIGHT@CNN.com.

Well, rocker Jon Bon Jovi has a lot to say about out-of-control young Hollywood.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

JON BON JOVI, SINGER: You have to have people around you who love you enough to tell you, who aren`t sycophants, who are being paid by you, and they can honestly grab you by the scruff of the neck, and tell you, that`s enough, go home.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

HAMMER: Coming up next, my one-on-one chat with Jon. The stuff he also told me about Richie Sambora`s (ph) battle with alcohol just blew me away. We`ll let you know what he said in his own words, next.

Also, star plastic surgery successes and nightmares. Tonight, we`re looking at whose nips and tucks were terrific and whose, well, were just plain terrible. SHOWBIZ TONIGHT`s Brooke Anderson investigates when bad nose and boob jobs happen to good stars.

All right, so this whole Donald Trump/Rosie O`Donnell nasty war of words, it`s back I`m sorry to report. Donald`s ripping into Rosie again. At the same time, Donald kind of says she inspired his new TV show. What`s the deal with that? I`ll explain that at 24 past the hour. SHOWBIZ TONIGHT for Wednesday night coming right back.

(COMMERCIAL BREAK)

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

BON JOVI: If there`s any experience that I really lived through, it`s that somebody wiser and in a place of authority has to take you home and say that`s enough. Go home. Success will be here when you come back.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

HAMMER: Tonight, I`m going one-on-one with Jon Bon Jovi. He`s got a lot to say about out-of-control young Hollywood. Welcome back to SHOWBIZ TONIGHT, TV`s most provocative entertainment news show. I`m A.J. Hammer.

Well, Bon Jovi, the band, just released its tenth album, called "Lost Highway." It is excellent. Some members of the band have certainly seen a lot of turmoil over the last couple of years. A lot of that came from guitarist Richie Sambora. He split from his wife Heather Locklear, then dated and broke up with actress Denise Richards. Then Sambora`s father died. And just recently, he spent a week in a detox facility for alcohol problems.

Well, Richie`s out now, so I asked Jon how Richie was doing.

(BEGIN VIDEOTAPE)

BON JOVI: He is fine. He is going to be great. Look, he knows it`s one day at a time right now, but the way I equate it is that of a method actor who puts on the role and then he carries that weight throughout the entire process of making the movie. And the day it`s over, he takes off that costume and throws it off the cliff.

Well, this time he took all of that that he had to deal with through life`s issues, got to the place where we recorded the record. Now he is taking off the uniform. He`s throwing it off the cliff. And then I shot it in the back of the head. So no sequel, you know? It`s not coming back. He is going to be just fine.

HAMMER: Good. I think not only the fans, but everybody who has subsequently gotten to know his story a little bit through the headlines is pulling for him in a big way.

BON JOVI: Yes.

HAMMER: His headlines coming at a time when so many stars, particularly young Hollywood stars, are making headlines, particularly for going into treatment facilities. And the tabloid attention is at a fever pitch like never before. Could you imagine what your life would have been like 25 years ago when you were first becoming rich and famous if the tabloid attention then was what it is now?

BON JOVI: It would probably be similar. One thing -- and you have known me long enough -- is we never played that game. We would have left Hollywood in a minute. And to me a lot of those, you know, who are getting that kind of attention, A, shouldn`t be looking for it, and the media shouldn`t feed it. Both parties are guilty.

And being from a place that doesn`t have that kind of media attention allows you to be a normal person. And being in New Jersey, for instance, where there`s not that paparazzi hanging out in the bushes looking to get you in trouble, or those clubs inviting the underage young starlet in to drink, doesn`t really exist.

HAMMER: So really, what would you say to these young stars? A lot of them with a lot of talent. I mean, Britney Spears did not become a star without some talent. Lindsay Lohan is, a lot of people say, such a terrific actress who, unfortunately, has gotten too much attention for all of the wrong reasons. What kind of advice, as somebody who did live through it -- maybe they`re not going to be able to move to New Jersey to get away from it. What would you tell them to do?

BON JOVI: Well, it`s a longer conversation, A.J. But the truth of the matter is you have to have people around you who love you enough to tell you, who aren`t sycophants, who are being paid by you, and that can honestly grab you by the scruff of the neck and tell you, that`s enough, go home.

If there`s any experiences that I have really lived through, it`s that somebody wiser and in a please of authority has to take you home and say that`s enough. Go home. Success will be here when you come back. And to be caught up in the game of getting your picture in the paper for those reasons and calling the press to tell them where you`re going to be to start those fires, both parties are guilty of that.

HAMMER: Yes, it seems stability, above anything, really is such a key. And you are a prime example of somebody who has made that work for you. You know, you were a millionaire by the time you were 25 and famous around the world. And by and large, you have kept the same people in your life, whether it`s your band, your wife, your friends. It really has been a key to -- the fact that you and I are sitting here right now having the same conversation.

BON JOVI: Lessons were learned along the way. You know, this was a bumpy ride, like anyone else`s that`s had an honest to goodness career. But celebrity is what it is, and, like I keep reiterating, is being created instantaneously, with the Internet and the Youtube and -- they feed each other, too. That`s where I think the fingers should be pointing.

HAMMER: Was there a lesson you learned along the way, where at the time you thought you were so right and you turned out to be so wrong?

BON JOVI: Well, I think the greatest lesson that we learned was after having had four albums and four tours consecutively without a break is that the exhaustion sets in. When the exhaustion sets in, the decisions aren`t really necessarily the wisest. And it was at that time that, in retrospect, I only wish that somebody in a higher-up position would have been wise enough to not just try to do their job and provide more work, but have the confidence in that artist to say stop, go home. Just go to sleep for a year. Don`t worry about it. It will still be here.

(END VIDEOTAPE)

HAMMER: Tomorrow I`ll have much more of my sit-down with Jon Bon Jovi, including his plans for the upcoming presidential election. He, of course, campaigned heavily during the last two. The band`s new album, which is excellent; it`s called "Lost Highway." It is in stores now.

Well, according to Donald Trump, his new show is definitely not "Living On a Prayer." Sorry I had to do a Bon Jovi reference. Donald, in fact, is using Rosie O`Donnell for inspiration. Yes, Rosie, as in the one he`s called all those awful things. Stick around. I`ll fill you in on this wild story next. Also this --

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: Breast augmentation and rhinoplasty has always been popular in the younger age groups. But more and more people are getting face lifts, especially actresses in their 30s.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

HAMMER: Star plastic surgery successes and nightmares. Whose nips and tucks were great? Whose were awful? SHOWBIZ TONIGHT investigates when bad nose and boob jobs happen to good stars.

And George Clooney with a brand new job, a janitor? The janitor. I`ll explain why he`s doing some really dirty work, coming up.

(COMMERCIAL BREAK)

HAMMER: Welcome back to SHOWBIZ TONIGHT, TV`s most provocative entertainment news show. Well, whatever you think of the guy, you have to hand it to Donald Trump. He sure knows how to milk something, right? Tonight I can tell you he is hard at work on a new reality show, and somehow he has managed to really diss Rosie O`Donnell again at the same time.

The show is called "Pageant Place." It`s going to follow the lives of Miss Universe, Miss USA an and Miss Teen USA. They all get to live together in one of the Donald`s New York City apartment. And he is going to bring back last year`s Miss USA, Tara Connor, as kind of a den mother. Yes, I`m talking about that Tara, the one that Donald nearly fired, then shipped off to alcohol rehab, which, of course, led to the whole Rosie- Donald nasty war of words. Let me refresh your memory.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

ROSIE O`DONNELL, FORMERLY OF "THE VIEW": There he is, hair looping. Going, everyone deserves a second chance, and I`ll give her a second chance.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

HAMMER: All right. Well, Donald, I guess, was kind of inspired by Rosie. Listen to what he is saying: quote, We`d been thinking about everything that happens back stage and how women like Tara capture the imagination of so many of us, including a slob named Rosie O`Donnell, who didn`t like that I gave Tara a second chance. And we thought wouldn`t it be great if we let the cameras roll?

Donald, whatever happened to sticks and stones? If you want to tune into "Pageant Place," you can check it out on MTV later on this summer.

Well, Judge Judy, she is certainly someone who never holds back either, right?

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

JUDGE JUDY, TV JUDGE: My advice to her would be, go back to school, become a relevant human being, start putting some stuff in your brain.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

HAMMER: I can`t wait to see this. Judge Judy unplugged. SHOWBIZ TONIGHT`s Brooke Anderson going one-on-one with her. Wait until you hear the good old-fashioned Hollywood starlet smack down she gives bad girls like Paris, Britney, Nicole, and Lindsay. That`s coming up.

Also, star plastic surgery successes and nightmares. We`ve seen them all, and tonight we show you whose nips and tucks were terrific, and whose were just plain terrible. SHOWBIZ TONIGHT investigates when bad nose and boob jobs happen to good stars.

Also, George Clooney, he is trying to fix some mistakes too. In fact, he has a brand new job, the janitor. I`ll explain exactly why he is doing some dirty work. That`s coming up when SHOWBIZ TONIGHT comes right back.

(NEWS BREAK)

(COMMERCIAL BREAK)

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

DR. FRANK RYAN, PLASTIC SURGEON: Breast augmentation and rhinoplasty has always been popular in the younger age groups, but more and more people are getting face lifts, especially actresses, in their 30s.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

HAMMER: Hollywood under the knife. There are so many stars whose beauty is anything but natural. A nip here, a tuck there, sometimes it goes well, and sometimes not so much. What makes so many stars turn to doctors to remake their faces and bodies? Tonight, a SHOWBIZ TONIGHT special report. Stars and plastic surgery.

Welcome back to SHOWBIZ TONIGHT. It`s 30 minutes past the hour. I`m A.J. Hammer in New York. Are you watching TV`s most provocative entertainment news show.

Tonight, a showbiz special report -- stars going under the knife. There are some Hollywood stars who would simply kill to turn back the hands of time. Short of that, they seem to be turning to plastic surgery to jump start their careers. But for some stars, surgery didn`t turn out all that well, or the way they had planned. Here`s SHOWBIZ TONIGHT`s Brooke Anderson.

(BEGIN VIDEOTAPE)

FEMALE SINGER: Oh, make me over!

BROOKE ANDERSON, HN ANCHOR, SHOWBIZ TONIGHT (voice over): In Hollywood, beauty is everything.

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: You look great.

ANDERSON: But in Hollywood, beauty and youth, for that matter, can come from a little help from your neighborhood plastic surgeon. But whose done well, and who should have left well enough alone? SHOWBIZ TONIGHT`s got you covered.

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE, SINGER: This is, this is me.

ANDERSON: That`s Ashlee Simpson back in 2004. This is Ashlee now. Something looks different. Is it the nose? The chin? The lips? Ashlee won`t say. But she did recently tell "Harper`s Bizarre" magazine that she has never been insecure about her looks and that plastic surgery is, quote, "a personal choice".

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: She`s never looked hotter.

ANDERSON: Unlike Ashlee, Kiss bassist Gene Simmons and his longtime girlfriend, former "Playboy" Playmate Shannon Tweed have put it all out there, and we mean all, when it comes to their surgeries.

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: OK, Gene, we`ll go ahead make some drawings on your face.

ANDERSON: Gene and Shannon, both in their 50s, decided to document their his and her face-lifts on their reality show.

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: You`re hot.

ANDERSON: When they came straight to the SHOWBIZ TONIGHT studios they couldn`t stop talking about it.

HAMMER: Why do the surgery?

SHANNON TWEED, FMR. "PLAYBOY" PLAYMATE: Because I had a couple of extra chins.

GENE SIMMONS, KISS: It was sort of like, what the hell, throw caution to the wind. Throw your shoulder -- throw your face over your shoulder and see what happens.

ANDERSON: Doctor Frank Ryan did the nipping and tucking for both Gene and Shannon. Unlike most of his celebrity clients, who use the secret backdoor to his offices, Gene and Shannon just walked right in. Dr. Ryan tells SHOWBIZ TONIGHT that in Hollywood, it`s not just the older stars who come looking for his expertise.

DR. FRANK RYAN, PLASTIC SURGEON: Surgery in younger people is getting more and more popular. Of course things like breast augmentation and rhinoplasty has been popular in younger age groups. But more and people are getting face-lifts in their 30s.

ANDERSON: Enter comedienne Kathy Griffin, she`s definitely not shy when it comes to the laundry list of work she`s had done. Listen to what she told CNN`s Larry King.

LARRY KING, "LARRY KING LIVE": Have you had cosmetic surgery?

KATHY GRIFFIIN, COMEDIANNE: Oh, yeah, absolutely.

KING: What have you had done?

GRIFFIN: A had a brow lift, which where they take your eyebrows and put them on a completely different part of your head, and you look months younger. And I had -- what have I had? A lower face-lift, where they only do it to here. I don`t know why. I said stop at the ears.

KING: Have you had botox, collagen?

GRIFFIN: Yes, all of that.

SINGER: Make me over!

ANDERSON: Rock star Courtney Love has made just as many headlines for her ever-changing appearance, as she has for her music, or her off-the- wall behavior.

COURTNEY LOVE, SINGER: All right.

ANDERSON: Love went from this, to this. But fake lips, a new nose, and an enhanced figure were enough. SHOWBIZ TONIGHT can tell you Love recently pledged to give up plastic surgery in a list of New Year`s resolutions she posted on the Internet.

That didn`t last long, though. A few months later, Love had to admit to having her lips reversed. The weight loss, she says, didn`t require a doctor.

JILL DOBSON, EDITOR-AT-LARGE, "STAR" MAGAZINE: Some celebrities are very open when they have plastic surgery. Other celebrities, especially those who seem to lose lots of weight, usually keep quiet about the surgery that may have gone into it. A lot of people think maybe Courtney Love had surgery to lose all of the weight she`s lost recently, but she denies it.

ANDERSON: It`s easier to deny a surgery when it comes to a dramatic weight loss. But how about when it`s, um, how do we say this, a little more obvious?

Breast augmentation can be a great way to kick start a career in Hollywood. Just ask Pam Anderson, Anna Nicole Smith, and Carmen Electra.

CARMEN ELECTRA: You can`t judge someone for their choices. But I think that if it`s something that you want to do, and you feel good about it, it has a lot to just dealing with yourself and your own self- confidence; and sort of figuring out, you know, how to deal with life.

ANDERSON: But bigger breasts don`t always mean bigger bucks.

TARA REID: You have to look a certain way. It`s something that, you know, I was thinking about for a while.

ANDERSON: Tara Reid had to fix her botched job in 2006, which she says kept her from getting work.

REID: I needed to get my body into top shape. This is what I needed to do. Unfortunately, everything that they wanted me to do, the surgery came out terrible.

ANDERSON: And speaking of terrible, you just can`t help but feel sorry for Kenny Rogers.

KENNY ROGERS, SINGING: Know when to walk away, know when to run.

ANDERSON: Kenny gambled on what he thought was a routine eye lift. And the results, well, let`s just say not so good. Kenny later told "People" magazine that he, quote, "went a little too far".

Also in the little too far category -- Michael Jackson, Joan Rivers, and Melanie Griffith. Why do so many stars go under the knife? The answer, according to Dr. Ryan, is simple.

RYAN: I think with the entertainment industry, to be honest with you, I think, we, as the public, hold these personalities to a higher standard. How many times do you see a photo of a celebrity in a tabloid, with maybe a 60-year-old man with kind of a beer belly? You say, my god, what happened?

(END VIDEOTAPE)

HAMMER: So what do you think the most popular type of plastic surgery is in Hollywood? You guessed it, breast augmentation.

Now, here`s a name that I never thought I would say in the same sentence with plastic surgery -- Liv Tyler. She is absolutely, without a doubt, one of the most gorgeous women in the world, but even Liv isn`t ruling out going under the knife. In fact, Liv says after she had her son, Milo, back in December 2004, she went a little nuts about getting her body back into shape so quickly.

Liv tells "Allure" magazine that she went to the gym every day, and sometimes even twice a day. And on the plastic surgery issue, Liv says, "I`m definitely going to have some, I`m sure. Especially when you see what happens to your body after you have a baby."

For more with Liv Tyler, pick up a copy of "Allure" magazine, on newsstands June 26th.

Well, tonight, I`ve got your "First Look" at the new movie, "Michael Clayton" starring George Clooney. He plays an elite attorney whose known among his colleagues as "The Janitor" because for fifteen years, he`s worked behind the scenes cleaning up high profile client`s personal problems. Here`s your SHOWBIZ "First Look".

(BEGIN MOVIE CLIP)

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: Michael, thank god. Look, I got a situation. Arthur Eaddings (ph) just stripped down naked in a deposition room in Milwaukee.

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: You are the senior litigating partner of one of the largest most respected law firms in the world. You are a legend.

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: I am an accomplice.

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: You are a manic depressive.

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: I am Shiva, the God of Death.

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: I am Michael Clayton.

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: You are late. This is a $3 billion class action lawsuit. The architect of our defense has been arrested for running naked through a parking lot.

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: He is building a case against Hugh North.

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: Nobody is going to let him do that.

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: Let him? Who the hell is going to stop him?

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: I spent 12 percent of my life defending the reputation of a deadly weed killer.

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: Arthur!

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: No way. They killed him, Michael.

Hugh North needs to know he is under control. If they`re shook up, they need to be reassured.

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: What are you telling me?

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: That I`m counting on you.

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: I didn`t hear him say exactly who it was. Just that it was something that would win the whole case.

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: I`m not the enemy.

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: Then who are you?

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: You got all these cops thinking you`re a lawyer. You got all these lawyers thinking you`re some kind of cop. You have everybody fooled don`t you? We know exactly what you are.

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: You got to saddle up here, Michael, and get things under control.

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: You`re partner was on to something.

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: Do you know Michael Clayton?

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: We have a situation.

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: Stay in the car. Lock the door.

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: What would they do if you went public?

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: Arthur, open the door.

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: What would they do? They`re doing it.

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: Freeze!

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: Who called it in. Does that make sense to you, this happening like that?

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: This never happened.

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: Get out. Get out of the car now.

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: I`m not the guy that you kill. I`m the guy that you hire. You are so blind you don`t even see what I am.

Do I look like I`m negotiating?

(END MOVIE CLIP)

HAMMER: Looks good. Going to have to wait until the fall to see it. "Michael Clayton" will be in theaters on September 28th.

Well, here come the judges. First, let me tell you, Judge Judy is on fire, and doling out advice for Paris Hilton.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

JUDGE JUDY SHEINDLIN, "JUDGE JUDY": My advice to her would be go back to school, become a relevant human being, start putting some stuff in your brain.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

HAMMER: That`s right, Judge Judy. The straight-talking, pull-no- punches Judge Judy sounds off about her advice for Paris Hilton and other young Hollywood bad girls. Judge Judy has so much to say that I think is right on the money. And you will hear it coming up next.

And another judge is going to be in your living room soon. Well, sort of. Coming up, I`ll tell you why you may soon be seeing a lot more of that strange judge from the Anna Nicole Smith trial. SHOWBIZ TONIGHT will be right back.

(COMMERCIAL BREAK)

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

SHEINDLIN: My advice to her would be go back to school. Become a relevant human being, start putting some stuff in your brain.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

HAMMER: Tonight Judge Judy is putting the likes of Paris Hilton in her place. The interview you`ll see only on SHOWBIZ TONIGHT. Welcome back to SHOWBIZ TONIGHT. I`m A.J. Hammer in New York and you are watching TV`s most provocative entertainment news show.

Judge Judy Sheindlin is certainly known for not mincing words and handing down some very tough verdicts on her court show. Now, she`s lashing out at young out-of-control stars and Hollywood`s obsession with looking young.

SHOWBIZ TONIGHT`s Brooke Anderson sat down with Judge Judy and asked her what advice she would give to Paris Hilton now that Hilton has vowed to drop the dumb act and find her spiritual side.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

SHEINDLIN: The opposite of dumb is smart. The opposite of dumb not spiritual, so my advice to her would be go back to school. Become a relevant human being, start putting some stuff in your brain.

Start worrying more about what you think, than what you`re wearing, so that when you are 60, people will still want to be in your company.

ANDERSON: And you make an impact too, at the end?

SHEINDLIN: You know, you are supposed to make a contribution. You are supposed to leave the world a better place, either because of the family that you have created, or the example that you have set, or the lives that you have impacted.

You know, and I think that it`s sad when you have a young woman, who was born to privilege and who was blessed with a beautiful face, and wonderful figure, and the ability to do anything that she wanted. And certainly I think that her parents would support anything she wanted to do. She`s chosen a path which is irrelevant.

ANDERSON: I want to ask you this. You know, your book is "Beauty Fades, Dumb Is Forever." She says that she played dumb as an act, but who, Judge Judy, in their right mind would think that that is a good act?

SHEINDLIN: Or who would want to do it? Who would want the world to perceive them as being stupid? I mean, you can be beautiful, and gifted, and come from privilege and, yet, still be a contributing member of society rather than, you know, being the star of your own porn movie, rather than partying at night, and doing irrelevant stuff during the day.

You can be -- you know if you look at celebrity, people who have celebrity who use that celebrity for positive things, because they recognize that celebrity is a gift. And so few people enjoy it, that if you have it, and if you have been given this gift -- despite the fact that some people actually earn it, earn the celebrity -- you have to act as an example because for young girls -- I don`t mean young girls with brains.

I mean young teenagers who are looking for heroes and heroines to see this young woman who seems to have a wonderful lifestyle. She goes to parties, and is he has fabulous jewelry and her picture is in the newspaper and magazines.

ANDERSON: Seems to have it all.

SHEINDLIN: Seems to have it all, but -- yet, there`s something vacant.

ANDERSON: No substance.

SHEINDLIN: Right.

ANDERSON: And to that end, you know, young girls do look up to Brittney and Lindsay and Paris and Nicole. It`s a sad statement that these women are role models right now.

SHEINDLIN: You said it. I mean, I agree with that. I agree with that.

Who do we have that are better role models? We have women who are in politics. We have women who -- we have a woman who is the secretary of State. Whether you agree with the politics or not, you have women who you can look to, and say they control their space. They are important women.

ANDERSON: You are a strong, successful woman. You are a terrific role model. Do you think we`re lacking those role models that people really are attracted to and want to emulate today? Like you say, people who maybe are more concerned with reducing wrinkles than reading a newspaper?

SHEINDLIN: Well, we are a society that revels in youth, and that includes the media. That includes television. It includes movies. You know, when you hear fine actresses who have really worked and honed their craft say that they can`t -- you know, they know that once they pass 40 or 45, getting a job for them is going to be difficult. So some opt to try to modify the way they look to look young forever, but you can`t look young forever.

ANDERSON: As you say, beauty fades, so you think too much value, of course, is put on appearance in our society.

SHEINDLIN: Appearance and youth. I think it`s great to look good. I mean, I love to look good.

ANDERSON: Which is a better way.

SHEINDLIN: Thank you. Women feel better, I think, when they look their best. My father used to say if you have the choice between looking good and feeling good, choose looking good, because looking good, you`ll always feel better.

ANDERSON: It will make you feel better.

SHEINDLIN: Right. And there`s a piece of that that`s true because if you have that glow about you, and if your eyes are clear, and if you feel that the dress fits right or the suit is perfect, you feel good, you carry yourself differently, and there`s a certain confidence that you have. That being said, if all you do is look good, nobody wants to talk to you.

ANDERSON: Right.

SHEINDLIN: You are going to be sitting alone at that dinner table. People are going to come and change their place card so they don`t sit next to you, because they can only look at you for a minute. You know, dinner is two hours.

ANDERSON: They can talk to you for hours.

SHEINDLIN: Yeah.

ANDERSON: If there`s nothing going on upstairs, you`ll have a problem.

SHEINDLIN: Right.

(END VIDEOTAPE)

HAMMER: She`s not always yelling. Judge Judy has lots of great wisdom for young Hollywood. Her book is "Beauty Fades, Dumb is Forever: The Making of A Happy Woman", and it`s in stores now.

Well, of course, you remember that eccentric judge from that Anna Nicole Smith case. Look out. He is coming back.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: You sort of knew I was going to go there, but I didn`t want you running around. I didn`t want you running around the building like a chicken without a head.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

HAMMER: Love him or hate him, ready or not, Judge Larry is coming. I`ll tell you about it next on SHOWBIZ TONIGHT.

(COMMERCIAL BREAK)

Welcome back to SHOWBIZ TONIGHT, TV`s most provocative entertainment news show on television. I`m A.J. Hammer in New York.

Remember that quirky judge from the Anna Nicole Smith case? You know, Judge Larry Seidlin? Let me refresh your memory.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

JUDGE LARRY SEIDLIN: You sort of knew I was going to go there, but I didn`t want you running around -- I didn`t want you running around the building like a chicken without a head. What`s the sense of it? I kept everyone here. It was better. There`s a method to what I was doing.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

HAMMER: Oh, who didn`t see this one coming? I certainly did. It looks like Judge Larry is getting his own TV show. "Broadcasting & Cable" says Judge Seidlin has committed to develop a show with CBS, and he`s clearing his schedule to do it.

The judge has resigned his seat on the Florida Family Circuit Court, effective at the end of July. And there`s more Anna Nicole-related deja vu going on today. Larry Birkhead and Howard K Stern were back in a courtroom together again, yesterday.

This time the hearing was about Anna`s will, and the former foes seem to be getting along. Stern was named the executor of Anna`s will, and Birkhead the guardian of the estate. It was the first step in the process to split up Anna Nicole`s assets, they are worth an estimated $710,000. Outside the courtroom, Stern and Birkhead said they are on good terms, and they are working together to help baby Dannielynn have a good future. Birkhead and Dannielynn are now living together in Anna Nicole`s former house in Los Angeles.

Yesterday, we asked you to vote on our SHOWBIZ TONIGHT question of the day. It was, Britney Spears out in clubs, a recipe for disaster? One-sided results, 95 percent of you say yes, bad idea. And 5 percent of you say no, not a recipe for disaster.

Among the e-mails we heard from DG in Washington who writes, "I don`t believe Britney has any intention of changing her ways. It`s going to be a sad true Hollywood story when she finally implodes."

Also heard from Tim in Tennessee. Tim writes, "It doesn`t have to be a bad thing if Britney goes out. As long as she isn`t drinking, I don`t see a problem with it."

Time to see what`s coming up on SHOWBIZ TONIGHT.

Tomorrow -- long before she went to jail, Paris Hilton got really, really famous, mostly because of a sex tape. It put her on the map, and of course, she`s not the only one. The Hollywood landscape is truly littered with sex tapes. And they are not always bad for a career. From Paris to Pam Anderson to even Screech, SHOWBIZ TONIGHT investigates celebrity sex tapes, that`s tomorrow.

That is it for SHOWBIZ TONIGHT. Thanks a lot for watching. I`m A.J. Hammer in New York. This guy is coming up next, right after the latest from CNN "Headlines News". Have a good night.
