Hello. I`m A.J. Hammer broadcasting tonight and every night from New York City. And there she goes again - Pamela Anderson files for divorce again from the guy who made that infamous sex tape with Paris Hilton. But hang on a second. Believe it or not, it gets even wackier. The breaking details coming up in just a few minutes.

But first tonight Kiefer Sutherland`s life behind bars. SHOWBIZ TONIGHT can now reveal what the "24" star is going through in jail as he serves out his DUI sentence. I can tell you that Kiefer is learning the hard way that if you do the crime, you also got to do the time.

(BEGIN VIDEOTAPE)

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: I`m having you locked up.

HAMMER: OK. So moody agent Jack Bower doesn`t take it to well whenever he gets locked up on "24." But as Kiefer Sutherland serves his 48-day sentence for a DUI, SHOWBIZ TONIGHT can tell you Kiefer is nothing like Jack.

KATIE DARYL, "TMZ TV": TMZ has learned that Kiefer Sutherland is a great prisoner, actually.

HAMMER: SHOWBIZ TONIGHT has all the inside details on what Kiefer is doing on the inside. There, Kiefer`s biggest enemy isn`t terrorists. It`s static cling.

DARYL: Kiefer Sutherland, while in jail, is fluffing and folding. He is washing blankets. He is drying sheets, and he is folding pillow cases. He is on laundry duty.

HAMMER: Katie of tmz.com tells SHOWBIZ TONIGHT that in the Glendale City Jail the multimillionaire TV star is on laundry duty, and he is doing a good job of it, too.

DARYL: Kiefer is one of TV`s biggest stars, so it`s kind of interesting to think of him doing not only his own laundry, but other laundry for other inmates.

HAMMER: Jack Bower, tough on terrorists, tougher on stains. SHOWBIZ TONIGHT can tell you that Sutherland is spending his days in an 8 x 10 cell like this one. Instead of four-star Hollywood restaurants, he is chowing down on jail food like cereal and chicken ala king. Yummy.

And while his fictional TV captors had their complaints, Kiefer`s real life jailers couldn`t be happier. About Sutherland, a Glendale Jail spokesman tells "People" magazine, quote, "He`s been a model prisoner."

DARYL: He`s actually doing it well. And what we`re hearing in the inside is Kiefer is doing the job with a smile on his face.

HAMMER: SHOWBIZ TONIGHT can tell you that in the last year alone, it seems like star after star has gotten busted for DUI. Sutherland joined their ranks last September when police pulled him over after he left a party.

DARYL: When Kiefer Sutherland got busted for his second DUI while on probation, he had to go back to the judge and got 48 days in prison. Originally, he was going to do his sentencing over the Christmas holiday so as not to disrupt the filming of his TV show "24."

HAMMER: But it seems Sutherland is the only major star to serve any serious time for DUI. Nicole Richie spent 82 minutes in jail. Lindsay Lohan spent 84.

Heck, "24" season premiers are longer than that. And who can forget this past summer when a DUI-related offense got Paris Hilton locked up for 23 days, less than half the time Kiefer is serving.

PARIS HILTON, SINGER AND ACTRESS: I have been through a lot, and it was a pretty traumatic experience.

HAMMER: Maybe it was, Paris, but let`s just say the way Paris handled it wasn`t Kiefer-esque.

DARYL: When Paris served time, we heard that she was reading the bible. She was drawing pictures. She was reading fan mail. And she was complaining about how scratchy the sheets were, that they didn`t have high enough thread count. We`re not hearing any of these complaints out of Kiefer. He is actually doing chores. He is doing manual labor, and Paris was not.

HAMMER: So Kiefer will be spending his birthday, Christmas, and New Year`s in jail, but a consolation. He is reportedly getting 100 pieces of fan mail a day, a sign that if you shut up and do your time, the public can forgive a mistake.

DARYL: Yes. He did have two DUIs, but he is taking responsibility. He is doing his time. He is doing a long sentence, and he is doing manual labor on top of it. So I think he is doing everything correctly in the view of public opinion.

HAMMER: After all, once you face down nuclear explosions, a little ring around the collar is no problem at all.

(END VIDEOTAPE)

HAMMER: Well, of course, Kiefer Sutherland was just one of so many celebrities in the past year who had the honor - or I should say dishonor - of posing for a mugshot. So, tonight we have the good, the bad, and the oh so ugly because right now we are handing out the "Showbiz Muggy Awards." From best hair and makeup to best dressed to most improved.

To join me in these honors from Hollywood tonight, "UsMagazine.com`s" editorial director Ken Baker. In New York tonight, founder of Spotlight Communications, Maggie Gallant. I want to get right down to it, guys, so we can see exactly who won this coveted "Showbiz Muggy Award." Everybody wants to know.

It was a tight race, specifically in the category of best hair and makeup, so we have two distinct winners. Drum roll, please. Our very first "Showbiz Muggy Award" goes to Paris Hilton. Now, this was taken when she was booked for driving with a suspended license weeks after her DUI arrest. Ken Baker, did we expect her to show up looking any less than picture perfect in the first place?

KEN BAKER, EDITORIAL DIRECTOR, "USMAGAZINE.COM": Well, no. To answer it in a real short way. Actually, what really surprised me most was not that she had makeup on or that she had her hair done. Her hair looked really good, by the way. But that she had posed so she was showing her best side prominently. That is her best side.

You see how she turned and showed - that is her best side. If you look in all of her photographs, that`s what she does. But when it comes to Paris Hilton, there is no shame to her vanity. OK? She is out in public.

I have seen her so many times out at parties. She`ll whip out a compact and look at it right in the middle of a party. She doesn`t care. She has no shame. Most women will run to the bathroom and touch up. She`ll do it in front of everyone, right in front of cameras. She knows her job is to look good, and she knows how to do it even when she`s in jail.

HAMMER: Yes. If she knows nothing else, and I`m pretty clear that`s the case, that`s very true. Paris has some excellent company, however. Our second "Showbiz Muggy Award" for best hair and makeup, naturally, goes to Nicole Richie. Yes, congratulations, Nicole.

She did this saucy little pose for the cameras when she got booked in August on DUI charges. Maggie, correct me if I`m wrong here, but if you take a look at Paris and Nicole side-by-side, and we see that, it looks like they went to the same mugshot finishing school.

MAGGIE GALLANT, FOUNDER, SPOTLIGHT COMMUNICATIONS: Well, there are people out there that are coaching young celebrities on walking the red carpet, how to pose, how to put their arm up, show their best side so they take the most flattering picture. I`m convinced there`s somebody out there that is teaching them how to make the most perfect mugshot.

HAMMER: Yes. In the event you get arrested, make sure you look pretty and smile real big. Let`s move this right along. On to somebody who really deserves this next showbiz muggy. In the category of most improved mugshot, the award goes to Lindsay Lohan. Congratulations, Lindsay.

Now, let`s take a look because we have a couple of shots involved here. Let`s put up this one on the left. You see, that was taken in July. She was booked for DUI. Much different than the one taken in November on the right. She got arrested again on DUI and cocaine charges. Really, Ken, I mean, much improved. Why do you think the second time was the charm?

BAKER: Well, because there is something that happens out in Hollywood that very few people know about. It`s called re-shoots. All right? It`s done with movies. It`s done for magazine photo shoots like ours. If you don`t like it the first time, you do a re-shoot. Well, lucky enough for her, she was able to get a re-shoot.

Now, of course, it wasn`t that lucky. She had to be booked again, but she definitely learned from the first time. She looked a little scrappier. Her hair wasn`t done. She barely had any makeup on. She did a good job. It was a good comeback. I would say, yes, it`s the mugshot comeback of the year, by far.

HAMMER: Somewhere in her head, it was rattling around. Can I get another take on that one, please? Moving on now to our next "Showbiz Muggy Award". It goes to a lucky guy who wins in the category of best dressed. I mean, you are going to look pretty for the camera and you probably want to dress well too. The winner in this category is Akon. Congratulations, Akon. Just named, of course, Billboard`s Top Pop Artist of the Year. Now, as you can see, Akon opted for the preppie look as he got his mugshot taken for allegedly tossing a teen off the stage while in concert. Maggie, dressed for the nines right here, isn`t he?

GALLANT: He looks like a Ralph Lauren ad in this picture, and is he smart because these mugshots, they`re seeing more eyeballs than almost any of the pictures of Akon the entire year. He knew that he was going to have a huge audience so he made sure he was looking really good.

That would make a great album cover or even an advertisement for whatever the heck it is he is wearing, although it does look a little Century 21 to me. I know we`re having some fun, but in all seriousness, I want to honor what is really one of the top mugshots of all time. I`m talking about SHOWBIZ TONIGHT`s Nick Nolte memorial award.

Now, this year the celebrity who went the distance to take a mugshot as disturbing as Mr. Nolte. Well, look at this. The honor goes to Mickey Rourke. The actor had his mugshot snapped after being arrested last month in Miami for allegedly drunk driving. Ken, you look at this photo, and you think - kind of like we said about Nick Nolte`s photo - dude, run a comb through your hair.

BAKER: Hey, come on. He was trying out for "Pirates of the Caribbean." You know? He was going for that messy sort of 16th century pirate look, and it was very successful.

But you know, the thing that really shocked me about Mickey Rourke was that he was still alive. So it was good to see at least a mugshot. It wasn`t a very photogenic one, but it was good to know at least he was alive. Because, you know, you hear reports every other week that Mickey Rourke is dead.

HAMMER: Well done, Mickey Rourke. We applaud you and all of our winners tonight. And Ken Baker and Maggie Gallant, I do appreciate you being part of this very serious awards program.

Well, on a serious note tonight, coming up for the first time I`ve got the frightening 911 tape, friends frantically trying to revive Kanye West`s mom.

(BEGIN AUDIO CLIP)

UNIDENTIFIED MALE 911 DISPATCHER: Ma`am, is she not breathing at all?

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: Her medications. She complained she couldn`t breathe.

UNIDENTIFIED MALE 911 DISPATCHER: Ma`am, OK. So she`s not -

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: She`s totally clammy.

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE 911 DISPATCHER: Ma`am, she`s not breathing?

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: She can`t breathe.

(END AUDIO CLIP)

HAMMER: This is such a sad, sad story. Donda West died soon after getting cosmetic surgery. This tape is absolutely chilling, and you will hear it coming up.

All right, so tonight SHOWBIZ TONIGHT goes where no other entertainment news show has gone before. First, we brought you the most controversial celebrity of the year. Now, tonight, I`ve got the most provocative celebrity events of the year. The most outrageous, the most over-the-top things that stars have done and, yes, there are plenty to choose from. It`s a revealing showbiz special report.

And this is unbelievable. Pam Anderson files for divorce again after being married for just a couple of months, again. Or does she? Something is definitely wrong here. What is going on, Pam? I`ve got the shocking details coming up next. It`s on SHOWBIZ TONIGHT.

(COMMERCIAL BREAK)

HAMMER: Welcome back to SHOWBIZ TONIGHT, TV`s most provocative entertainment news show. I`m A.J. Hammer in New York.

Well, tonight Pamela Anderson is getting divorced. Yes, she is. No, she`s not. Or who the heck knows? Maybe she is. Anyway, here`s the deal. SHOWBIZ TONIGHT got its hands on these. These are the actual divorce papers that Pam filed against her husband Rick Salomon.

Now, if you`re thinking they just got married, yes, in October. And then, guess what? Pam files these divorce papers and changes her mind. Just like that. Should we even be surprised?

Joining me from Chicago, "CelebTV.com" host Kelli(ph) Zinc. From Hollywood tonight, Jane Velez-Mitchell, investigative journalist and author of this fine book "Secrets Can Be Murder." Jane, Kelli, good to see you both. I can`t believe the story, although actually I can. What I couldn`t believe is that Pam Anderson and Rick Salomon, the same guy who appeared in and sold the now infamous Paris Hilton sex tape, "One Night in Paris" actually got married in the first place. OK. I got past that. Kelli, what was the reason that she filed for divorce some 72 days later?

KELLI ZINC, HOST, "CELEBTV.COM": Dissolution of marriage and irreconcilable differences. Dissolution. That sounds about right. OK, 72 days to a man who she swears, "This is it. This is my third marriage, but I`m settling down. He has been my best friend for eight years, and I`m going to go to Vegas, get married, and take it really seriously. I`m going to wear a short white denim dress. This is it." And then, here we go. She`s off. I don`t know what to say.

HAMMER: I`ve got to tell you. I saw the little check box here that says "irreconcilable differences." But apparently, they are reconcilable because late today, TMZ reported Pam changed her mind, and Pam seemed to actually take it all back. She posted this message on her web site saying, "12/17/2007 PS, we`re working things out." Jane, can this marriage possibly be saved even if they are temporarily working it out?

JANE VELEZ-MITCHELL, INVESTIGATIVE JOURNALIST: A.J., it`s a very good and sensible question. I don`t know if it really applies to this kind of Hollywood marriage. Pamela Anderson is a sex symbol. And in Hollywood, throughout the ages, the sex symbols have gotten married over and over and over again. Look at Elizabeth Taylor, eight times. Look at Zsa Zsa Gabor, at least - possibly nine times.

So, they don`t really look at it like a long-term commitment and partnership and let`s get a plot somewhere and let`s get some life insurance. They look at it as, "Hey, this is a stage play, a performance art piece, and let`s get to act one, act two, and act three."

HAMMER: But, Jane, I don`t think we should really be so cynical here because there was such a true and wonderful foundation at the very beginning of their marriage. In fact, Pam has described how she fell in love with Rick Salomon before, and I want to you hear what she said about it on the "Ellen DeGeneres program."

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

PAMELA ANDERSON, ACTRESS: I was playing poker one night in my room, and I was down about $250,000.

ELLEN DEGENERES, HOST, "THE ELLEN DEGENERES SHOW": Wow. It`s a lot.

ANDERSON: Yes. He said if I made out with him that I could clear the thing, so a couple days went by after he followed me around like a puppy dog -

DEGENERES: Who`s he?

ANDERSON: And I ended up paying off my poker debt and buying a painting, and then I fell in love. Now, we`re engaged.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

HAMMER: Yes. So I mean, really, should we be so cynical? Kelli, what is going on here? A marriage based on love, or a marriage based on a gambling debt? I`m dumbfounded.

ZINC: Well, here`s the biggest thing. She says we`re working on it. Hey, Pam, you should probably tell the court that you`re working on it because we`ve all seen the papers that say that she`s filing for divorce. So whether this is a PR stunt, whether they just got in a fight and now they`ve made up, somebody needs to come to some kind of a concrete conclusion because there are children involved.

HAMMER: All right. Well, let us now move to what Pam did in October talking about this whole marriage and everything that was going with her and Rick. She did this exclusive interview with "OK" magazine along with photos from her and Rick`s wedding in Vegas.

This is what Pam said about Rick, quote, "There has always been chemistry, but mostly it`s been camaraderie. We have been there for each other through everything. We have seen each other through it all. That`s tough to find. I don`t just love him. I like him. We are an oddly good match." Jane, the word "odd" jumps out at me. How about you?

VELEZ-MITCHELL: It does jump out. But you know, I have to say that although some think this is a publicity stunt, this whole marriage, or a restitution for a gambling debt, I would have to say Pamela Anderson has been very consistent about her choice of men. They are all sex symbols. Tommy Lee, Kid Rock, Rick Salomon, and most of them have been proven themselves to be sex symbols on videotape, if you know what I mean.

HAMMER: Yes.

VELEZ-MITCHELL: So I think she is quite consistent, and maybe that`s what she likes.

HAMMER: Now what do you think, Kelli? You know, publicity stunt keeps coming up as a recurring theme during our little conversation here. Is that what you think is going on?

ZINC: You know, I think that Pamela Anderson changes her mind more than she changes her bikini. And let`s face it, she does everything over the top. She says that her and Rick saw each other through everything. You know what, so did the entire nation. We`ve all seen the sex tapes. We`ve all seen Pam Anderson and what she thinks day to day on her blog. If this woman is really serious about having a family and a career, she should probably stop writing about it so that the entire world can keep on reading.

HAMMER: Yes. I got to say I don`t think we should be placing any wagers tonight that this marriage that began in Vegas may actually last. I think we`re going to continue to see this unfold. But man, I`ve got the papers right here. With the big "filed" stamped on it. Kelli Zinc, Jane Velez- Mitchell, thanks for joining us tonight.

VELEZ-MITCHELL: Thanks, A.J.

ZINC: Thank you.

HAMMER: All right. I don`t know about you but I think Will Smith is one of Hollywood`s good guys, always so nice when I have spoken to him. He has built a terrific career. You remember he started out as "The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air" and a rapper. Tonight, I can tell you Big Willie could now be the biggest movie star on the planet. I`ve got his remarkable story. That`s coming up next.

All right, so Will Smith not a controversial, provocative kind of guy, but there are plenty of other stars out there that are. From the show that brought you the year`s most controversial celebrity, that`s us, comes the year`s most provocative celebrity events - the most outrageous, over the top things that stars did in 2007. You won`t see this anywhere else. Stick around for that. And this.

HAMMER: Well, tonight, I think we can safely crown the fresh prince, the new king of the box office.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

WILL SMITH, ACTOR: You better tell me right now!

(END VIDEO CLIP)

Yes, Will Smith`s "I Am Legend" had a huge box office opening this weekend. According to Media By Numbers, it pulled in more than $77 million, the biggest December movie debut ever. And it`s not a fluke. Box Office Mojo says Big Willie`s movies do better than Harrison Ford`s, Tom Hanks`, even Tom Cruise`s. I`ve got to tell you, this guy has certainly come a long way from his early days as The Fresh Prince.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

SMITH: You other kids all across the land. There`s no need to argue, parents just don`t understand

HAMMER: I love that high top fade haircut. Thinking about doing that myself. What do you think? Not about whether or not I should get the haircut. It`s our SHOWBIZ TONIGHT question of the day. Here it goes: "Will Smith: Is he the biggest movie star in the world?"

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: I can`t hear you.

UNIDENTIFIED MALE 911 DISPATCHER: What happened? Why are you calling?

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: Because she had a heart attack. She`s not breathing. She`s not moving. I`m trying to do CPR.

UNIDENTIFIED MALE 911 DISPATCHER: How old is this person?

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: She`s 58 years old.

UNIDENTIFIED MALE 911 DISPATCHER: Fifty eight?

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: She just had surgery.

UNIDENTIFIED MALE 911 DISPATCHER: OK, 58. Now, you`re doing CPR? Ma`am, is she not breathing at all?

UNIDENTIFIED MALE 911 DISPATCHER: She`s not breathing.

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: She threw up (UNINTELLIGIBLE) around her mouth, and we tried to do CPR on her.

UNIDENTIFIED MALE 911 DISPATCHER: OK. So she`s not breathing at all?

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: She`s not responding.

UNIDENTIFIED MALE 911 DISPATCHER: I want to know if she`s breathing. Is she breathing at all?

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: She is cold and clammy.

UNIDENTIFIED MALE 911 DISPATCHER: Ma`am, is she breathing at all?

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: I couldn`t hear you. (UNINTELLIGIBLE)

UNIDENTIFIED MALE 911 DISPATCHER: Let me - ma`am, do you need instruction on CPR?

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: We need - shut the door.

UNIDENTIFIED MALE 911 DISPATCHER: Ma`am, we`ve already got people on the way to you, OK? Ma`am. Are you on speaker phone? If you could put me on regular phone, that would be better.

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: We`re on the regular phone.

UNIDENTIFIED MALE 911 DISPATCHER: So are you doing CPR at this time?

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: We`re getting ready to start.

UNIDENTIFIED MALE 911 DISPATCHER: OK. Do you need instructions? I can tell you what to do.

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: Take this out. Lift the head.

UNIDENTIFIED MALE 911 DISPATCHER: Everyone lay her flat on the ground, no pillows, nothing underneath of her head.

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: I can`t move her from the bed. She just had surgery.

UNIDENTIFIED MALE 911 DISPATCHER: Is she in a hospital bed? Ma`am, is she in a hospital bed?

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: Huh?

UNIDENTIFIED MALE 911 DISPATCHER: Is she in a hospital bed?

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: Come on. Come on.

UNIDENTIFIED MALE 911 DISPATCHER: Ma`am, is she in a hospital bed?

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: Come on. Come on.

UNIDENTIFIED MALE 911 DISPATCHER: Is she in a hospital bed?

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: Huh?

UNIDENTIFIED MALE 911 DISPATCHER: Is she in a hospital bed?

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: She`s in a regular bed.

UNIDENTIFIED MALE 911 DISPATCHER: A regular bed.

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: Yes.

UNIDENTIFIED MALE 911 DISPATCHER: There`s no way to get her on the floor?

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: No, there`s no way to get her on the floor.

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: We tried to clear her airway.

UNIDENTIFIED MALE 911 DISPATCHER: What you want to do is turn her on her left side.

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: That`s OK.

(END AUDIO CLIP)

HAMMER: That really is just so chilling. This call went on for another six minutes while the operator tried to explain how to do CPR, but as we know now, it was too late. An autopsy has been performed on Donda West. And the results of that autopsy had not yet been released.

Well, shifting gears here. 2007 has certainly been a year full of controversy involving Hollywood`s biggest stars, from celebrity meltdowns to racist rants, to bitter custody battles.

So, tonight SHOWBIZ TONIGHT is naming the most provocative - the most provocative events of the year. Talking about the events that made our heads, you know, just kind of spin in disbelief, and I can tell you, well, you know, we have plenty to choose from.

Joining me tonight from Hollywood, investigative journalist Jane Velez-Mitchell, author of "Secrets Can Be Murder." Also from Hollywood tonight, celebrity publicist, Howard Bragman, founder of Fifteen Minutes Public Relations. And in New York tonight, editor-at-large for "Star" magazine, Julia Allison. Gang, I appreciate you all being here.

So many provocative moments, so little time, so we`re going to count these down, starting right off with number four. Alec Baldwin`s tongue lashing. Baldwin, of course, shocked us all after that nasty voicemail message that he left for his then 11-year-old daughter that was leaked online.

In it, Baldwin berated her for not answering the phone. He called her, among other things, "a rude, thoughtless, little pig." The message lasted an excruciating two minutes. Jane, is this something that he can ever live down?

VELEZ-MITCHELL: Well, I think he actually is living it down. It was a terrible thing to do, but he acknowledged that. He immediately went on "The View" and said, "I made a mistake. This was bad. I am so very sorry." Then he disappeared from view and went on to win some accolades for his acting work.

So as terrible as it was, A.J., I think the biggest culprit in all of this is the person who leaked that voicemail. I don`t blame the media for playing it, but whoever did that, that`s dirty pool. That`s not how you resolve family disputes.

HAMMER: Well, Howard Bragman, what do you think about that? Because initially, Alec offered to quit his hot NBC show "30 Rock." The network said, "No, you are not going to quit." He got the Emmy nod and he didn`t win. But, you know, tell me as a publicist, did it seem to you like there was any lasting damage here?

HOWARD BRAGMAN, CELEBRITY PUBLICIST: No. There was no lasting damage. I think, first of all, most people realize that this was a private tape that was leaked to the public. And I think that is what drives our awareness of this thing. The other part is secretly, I think a lot of people - I tend to call this generation the ID -generation, the "I deserve" generation.

And I think there were a lot of people who thought, "I`m really happy that a parent is finally telling their kid the way it is out there in this world," and she probably is a spoiled little pig at times. And I think there was a secret joy from a lot of people, so no lasting damage. He wins. More career nods. Great career ahead.

HAMMER: Yes. The truth is we did hear on both sides when that tape was first leaked. I want to move on it the number three most provocative event of 2007. Shock jock Don Imus. Man, did he put his foot in his mouth when he was commenting on the Rutgers Women`s Basketball Team. Let`s listen to it again.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

DON IMUS, RADIO HOST: So I watched the basketball game last night between a little bit of Rutgers and Tennessee, the women`s final.

SID ROSENBERG, ANNOUNCER: Yeah, Tennessee won last night - seventh championship for Pat Summitt, I-Man. They beat Rutgers by 13 points.

IMUS: That`s some rough girls from Rutgers. Man, they got tattoos and -

BERNARD MCGUIRK, EXECUTIVE PRODUCER, "IMUS IN THE MORNING": Some hard-core hos.

IMUS: That`s some nappy-headed hos there. I`m gonna tell you that now -

(END VIDEO CLIP)

HAMMER: All right, Julie Allison, let me go to you. Imus, as we all know got fired for that. Not everybody agreed that he should have been fired, but Imus had certainly done outrageous things before in his long career on the radio. Why was this any more provocative?

JULIA ALLISON, EDITOR-AT-LARGE, "STAR" MAGAZINE: Well, it was only provocative because people noticed it, because the basketball team took it upon themselves to make sure that every single person in America was as incensed as they were. I mean, I think he was hired as a shock jock, that he did his duty as a shock jock. You don`t have to listen to his show. You don`t have to like him. But the reason everyone paid attention is because they made it news.

HAMMER: Yes. As we know, Imus got back on the radio, as everybody predicted he would. Jane Velez-Mitchell, you know, I was talking to Barbara Walters recently. She told me that he told her that he is a changed man, but how long do you think it will be before he gets himself in trouble again. Or do you think he has learned his lesson here?

VELEZ-MITCHELL: I hope he is a changed man, A.J. I mean, as awful and as really hateful as the comments he made were, I think everybody deserves forgiveness and the possibility of redemption. But you know what struck me about his comments is that they were just so juvenile. This is a man who is an adult who is talking to some of the most powerful figures in Hollywood, and he is talking like a 16-year-old frat boy. What is that saying? To me it says a lack of emotional development.

I think if he really wants to change, he needs to go into therapy and take a look at why he feels the need to joke in that manner. What does it say about him, his emotional and spiritual state? So if he really does the internal work, he might actually be able to grow as a human being and change. Otherwise, something else is going to slip right out of his mouth.

HAMMER: Yes, that gets us into the whole teaching an old dog new tricks, and in this case, I don`t know if that would work. I`ve got to move on to our number two most provocative event of the year. Paris Hilton, the jail bird. Come on, I mean this has to be on the list. Paris, of course, sent to jail for driving with a suspended license, released early, sent back after that public outcry. Let`s listen to what she told Larry King after she got out.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

HILTON: It was a shock. Everything, you know. Going from being so happy to be at home with my family and then I`m told that I`m not supposed to be going to court the next day. The sheriff said stay at home. Then all of a sudden, ten minutes before the police arrive, I`m yanked out of bed. They`re telling me that they`re going to handcuff me and bring me back to the courthouse. I had no idea what was going on. I was in complete shock. It was unbelievable.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

HAMMER: That just puts me to sleep every time I see it. Certainly now not the first time we`ve seen a celebrity go to jail. Howard Bragman, why do you think Paris the jail bird got so much attention when she went?

BRAGMAN: I have to tell you, my favorite part of the whole thing is she says, "I was in bed when the police arrived." A.J., I was trying to drive to work that day. There were 25 helicopters. There were 300 camera trucks. You could not stay awake. You must have been on some serious drugs if you couldn`t wake up that day, but it was a wonderful show. It was - will Paris go to jail? Then Paris gets out of jail. Then Paris goes to jail again. It just - these moment after moment and new outfits, new hair every time. We couldn`t have asked for more. (CROSS TALK)

HAMMER: You are right. You can`t make that stuff up. We`ve got to move on now because we have to, of course, give it up for Britney Spears who could have made her very own list of provocative events, which, of course, is why SHOWBIZ TONIGHT recently named her the most controversial celebrity of the year.

Still, it was that infamous hair shaving episode that goes down as the number one most provocative event of the year because basically it symbolized the ultimate melting down of Britney. Julia, she did this knowing everyone was watching. She gets big bonus points for that.

ALLISON: Absolutely. She knew the photographers were there, and why people looked at it as the craziest thing they had ever seen. When was the last time you saw a celebrity shave off all her hair? You`ve never seen it before. And I will say this, there are not many things that celebrities haven`t done yet. Britney found one of them.

HAMMER: Yes, she did. Now, quite a body of work in 2007, but, Jane, are you a little bit scared to see what Britney may do to outdo herself in 2008?

VELEZ-MITCHELL: Oh, I am terrified. I don`t even want to know. It`s like, "Please do not tell me. I don`t know how much more I can take of Britney." I have a score card at home, and every five minutes I get a Britney alert on my e-mail. It`s sucking up my entire life.

HAMMER: I got to tell you -

VELEZ-MITCHELL: I really hope she just stays home.

HAMMER: I think we all do. But I`ve got to tell you, with all that happened with all these celebs in 2007, you know things are just going to get crazier in 2008. It`s the way of the world. Jane Velez-Mitchell, Howard Bragman, Julia Allison, thanks for being with us tonight.

ALLISON: Thanks.

HAMMER: Well, from the most provocative to the most influential. Believe it or not, some of the most influential people in Hollywood are still in diapers. Yes, you heard me right.

And coming up, we`re going to take a look at the most influential celebrity babies. Yes, that`s what I said. The biggest power players to ever wield a sippy cup. But really what makes the likes of Suri, Shiloh, and Jaden James so influential? That`s next on SHOWBIZ TONIGHT and you definitely don`t want to miss this.

And Ann Curry soaring to new heights? Why do you think the "Today" show`s Ann Curry would jump of a perfectly good bridge? There`s actually a really good reason. I`m going to tell you all about it and just wait until you see this video. I promise you it`s Ann like you have never seen her before. That`s still ahead in the showbiz video of the day.

(COMMERCIAL BREAK)

HAMMER: Welcome back to SHOWBIZ TONIGHT. I`m A.J. Hammer in New York. You`re watching TV`s most provocative entertainment news show. And oh, baby! Tonight, we`ve got the most powerful, the most influential babies in Hollywood. Yes, I said babies.

"Forbes.com" actually figured out which babies have power and influence. Who knew it was even possible? But "Forbes" figured it out based on this formula of how much press they got in print and on-line. Let`s go through it, shall we?

Joining me tonight from Hollywood, Ken Baker, editorial director of "UsMagazine.com" and CNN entertainment correspondent Kareen Wynter.

OK. We accept the list exists, and let`s start off with Britney Spears` oldest son, 2-year-old Sean Preston, number four on this particular list. And stay tuned because you are going to find out in just a minute who is number one. Ken Baker, let me start with you. I can certainly understand why Sean Preston is influential, because, after all, his mother is teaching everyone how not to raise a child.

BAKER: Yes. Well, I mean, actually that is a really important point to raise. A lot of the names on this list are, honestly, kind of frivolous in a way, but this is really a serious one. Sean Preston, and don`t forget his little brother, Jaden James, who is just 1 year old, have become sort of the posters for child neglect and abuse and the plight of children of divorce.

I think that actually, in all seriousness, there was a power and an influence that Sean Preston had on us this year because he sort of reminded us that there are victims when parents are troubled or are addicted or things like this.

And that image of those two little boys in the back seat of the car holding hands - I don`t know if you remember that picture. It was so moving and really that is a very powerful image and a powerful message so, I think Sean Preston totally deserves to be on this list.

HAMMER: Well, also on the list and for entirely different reasons, I think, Suri Cruise, of course, the spawn of Katie Holmes and Tom Cruise. Tom Cruise, of course, once one of the most influential adults in Hollywood. Suri has been a national obsession really since her birth a year ago. Kareen, it seems that Suri has had a lot of influence in repairing her daddy`s battered image, publicly.

KAREEN WYNTER, CNN ENTERTAINMENT CORRESPONDENT: Oh my goodness. Has she? She really, A.J., should be on daddy`s payroll, to be quite frank. She really added a lot of legitimacy to this family, this relationship. There was a time where people questioned Katie and Tom, are they really together? Is this the real deal? Is it an arranged union?

And now, you know little Suri, what, she`s 1 year old, and people look at this family as being an all American, you know, credible family. She`s really done wonders for them on that end.

Tom, quite frankly, doesn`t come across as so darn weird anymore. People - the couch jumping incident, for example. We kind of were getting that out of our minds, or maybe we won`t. But we see him as being this father figure and especially when he is doting over his little girl. You can`t beat that. She`s really helped to soften his image.

HAMMER: As long as she doesn`t get glib when she starts talking to him. OK. Suri has become a fashion icon in her own right when you think about it. Ken we see her sporting those designer clothes right along her high fashion mother. What`s going to happen next? Are the paparazzi going to be shouting "Hey, Suri, what are you wearing?" I don`t know. I think that might happen.

BAKER: Well, actually, it is going happen. It`s going happen pretty soon, but, you know, Tom and Katie are very difficult to get on a paparazzi line. You only see him when he has something to promote. It`s not going to happen that often.

But one thing to point out is that Suri did become sort of a fashion icon for infants. And I know that`s kind of a weird thing, but she really did to the point where there were rumors that she was going to be the face of Baby Gap, which weren`t true, but it really made sense. People actually believed it because you could see it happening because this baby was such a fashion icon.

HAMMER: Yes, and I`ll even say this right now just to show I have a little bit of hearted. She is cute. Let`s talk about the Jolie clan. I can`t speak tonight. Three spots on this list. We have four-year-old Pax at number five, two-year-old Zahara, the third most influential baby. Number one on the list, here it is, the most influential baby of them all, one- year-old Shiloh Jolie-Pitt. What do you think, Kareen? It couldn`t have gone any other way, could it have?

WYNTER: It really couldn`t. She`s so, so darn adorable, and you look at these tots and you wonder why is there so much attraction, A.J.? Well, for crying out loud, they`re pint-sized versions of these powerful, you know, Hollywood couples that we love and we watch. So of course, we`re going to follow their babies.

It`s also fun to just see them grow up in the spotlight, to wonder, oh, my gosh, 15, 20 years from now how powerful will these kids be? They`ll probably be bigger than their parents. So, watch out. They don`t have time, A.J., to hit the playground. They`re busy negotiating business deals and jet setting with their parents.

HAMMER: I have to point out before we go, Maddox did not make the list, the other Pitt-Jolie child, because Maddox is six. Another fine example of age discrimination in Hollywood, I guess. Ken Baker, Kareen Wynter, thanks for going through this fine list with us tonight.

WYNTER: Oh, sure.

BAKER: Thanks.

HAMMER: Well, Ann Curry reaches new heights, so why do you think the "Today" show`s Ann Curry jumped off a perfectly good bridge? There`s actually a really good reason for it. I`m going to tell you all about it, and wait until you see this video. I promise you it`s Ann, one of my favorite people on TV, like you have never seen her before, next in the showbiz video of the day.

First, it is time for a look at what`s new for the holidays. Tonight, new Christmas albums from a very, varied group of artists. Josh Groban`s "Noel" already a big hit with a million and a half copies sold.

The Captain and Tennille, I can`t believe it, they are also out with a holiday album. This one is called "The Secret of Christmas." This happens to be their first studio album in 20 years. It includes Christmas classics and one called "I Want A Hippopotamus For Christmas."

The Isley Brothers also cover a bunch of Christmas standards on their new album "I`ll Be Home for Christmas." Keith Sweat putting an R & B spin on the holidays with "A Christmas of Love." Welcome back to SHOWBIZ TONIGHT, TV`s most provocative entertainment news show. I`m A.J. Hammer in New York. It is time for you nor ow showbiz video of the day. And Ann Curry has taken her job on the "Today" show to brand new heights, literally. She bungee-jumped live on television. Watch this.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: Three, two, one, bungee.

ANN CURRY, CO-ANCHOR, "TODAY" SHOW: Oh, my good lord. Oh, my goodness. This is fantastic. Yes!

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: Holy cow.

CURRY: Oh, my good lord. Hello. This is fantastic. I would recommend it, actually.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

Look at Ann having some big fun. This was at the Transporter Bridge in Middleboro, England. Ann bungee jumped 120 feet. I give her a lot of credit for doing that. She was falling, and she said she felt like she was a bird and she said in the first moment she saw her whole life flash before her eyes. But all in all, it wasn`t as scary as she thought it would be. And it was all for a great cause. Ann was bungee jumping to raise $10,000 for the United Way and Save the Children. Nice going, Ann Curry.

Well, last week we told you that Britney Spears did not show up for a court-ordered deposition. We asked you to vote on our SHOWBIZ TONIGHT question of the day. Britney Spears bails on deposition: Does she really want her kids? Nine percent of you say yes, 91 percent of you say no. Very one-sided.

Among the e-mails, one from Mandy in Ohio. Mandy writes, Britney wants her children, but I don`t think she wants to take care of them. That would cut into her party time.

We also heard from Kathie in Texas who writes, "Britney does not want her kids. She proves that every time she goes out. She shows no interest in changing her life!"

Time now to take a look at what is coming up on SHOWBIZ TONIGHT. Tuesday, the nastiest, most bitter dirtiest divorces of the year. We`re going to take a little trip down memory lane. Looking back at the biggest knock down, drag out divorce battles of 2007 and what other star couples can learn from them about what not to do during a break-up. The dirtiest divorces of the year, Tuesday.

Also Tuesday, you might want to break out the Kleenex. We have the best crying stories ever. Was it just me, or are the tears flowing a little bit more freely in Hollywood these days? What`s all the crying about? SHOWBIZ TONIGHT plays the crying game. That`s Tuesday.

And that is it for SHOWBIZ TONIGHT. Thanks a lot for watching. I`m A.J. Hammer in New York. The latest from "CNN HEADLINE NEWS" is coming up next.
