(MUSIC)

Hi there, everyone, I`m Brooke Anderson in Hollywood. A.J. Hammer is off. And tonight, is Britney Spears` pregnant kid sister thinking of getting married? SHOWBIZ TONIGHT can tell you that this has been another day of head spinning turns in the Spears` saga. Everything from news about the so-called parenting book Spears` mom wrote to whether 16-year-old Jamie Lynn Spears is going to get married now that she is pregnant. Jamie Lynn married? Would that be the right thing to do? Or the wrong thing? SHOWBIZ TONIGHT with the heated story and debate.

(BEGIN VIDEOTAPE)

(voice over): First came love. And soon comes the baby carriage. But now, is marriage in the cards for pregnant teen star Jamie Lynn Spears and her teenaged boyfriend Casey Aldridge?

JULIA ALLISON, EDITOR-AT-LARGE, "STAR MAGAZINE": Everyone is going to talk about a shotgun wedding because that is the first thing that occurs to people in this sort of situation.

ANDERSON: SHOWBIZ TONIGHT can tell you reports are that Casey, who depending on what you read, is either 18 or 19 wants to marry his pregnant 16-year-old girlfriend who happens to star in one of the most popular kids` shows on TV, "Zoey 101."

JAMIE LYNN SPEARS: I just wish Nicole and Dana would get along.

ANDERSON: SHOWBIZ TONIGHT can tell you everyone agrees Jamie Lynn`s pregnancy is nothing less than shocking. But when the question goes to whether she should marry her boyfriend, well, let`s just say there is a little less agreement.

KURIANSKY: If it is true that Casey does want to marry Jamie Lynn and I say, bless him, he is doing the right thing.

ALLISON: A 16-year-old celebrity with a kid who is also a Spears? Oh, please. There is no way any judge should grant this girl a marriage license.

ANDERSON: Casey hasn`t said a peep since Jamie Lynn announced her pregnancy, publicly anyway. But his uncle, a minister in Jamie Lynn`s home town in Louisiana is talking to the media. He tells "The New York Post," quote, "Jamie Lynn and Casey want to get married. I know Casey does and he says she does, too."

ALLISON: I`m sure that Casey wouldn`t necessarily mind getting married to Jamie Lynn. She`s adorable. B, she`s rich. C, doesn`t look like he has much else going for him there in Louisiana.

ANDERSON: But does Jamie Lynn want to get married? For one, no one is able to say for sure if the couple is even still together. And when Jamie Lynn and her mom announced the pregnancy in the issue of "OK!" magazine, they put the kabash to any marriage talk. The elder Spears said, quote, "We`re not going there. We`re focusing on the baby. We`ve got so much more to focus on right now. Right now, we`re just focusing on this baby."

ALLISON: This is definitely PR to speak for. Oh, hell no.

ANDERSON: Relationship expert and clinical psychologist, Judy Kuriansky, tells SHOWBIZ TONIGHT marriage is the best option for this young couple.

KURIANSKY: They have a responsibility to take care of that child. And even though they are both teenagers, they should get married and they should raise their kid and try to make their relationship work.

ALLISON: For a 16-year-old to get married that doesn`t seem like great decision making.

ANDERSON: But New York dating columnist and "Star" magazine editor-at- large, Julia Allison tells SHOWBIZ TONIGHT the spotty marital history of Jamie Lynn`s older sister should make her think twice about going that route herself.

ALLISON: They keep using this word "responsibility," they`re taking "responsibility." Look, Britney got married. Did anybody think that was the responsible thing to do? Oh, no they didn`t. So why is marriage necessarily a responsible thing?

ANDERSON: If they get married, the odds would be against them. Of American girls who get married at 18 or younger, 59% will be divorced or separated within 15 years. The failure rate is only 36% for women 20 and older. Still, some say Casey and Jamie Lynn should try.

KURIANSKY: Better to get married, work at it, give it time, and than to throw up your hand and say "We can`t do this at all. We are too young." That is an excuse that should not be accepted.

ANDERSON: Or maybe not.

ALLISON: Maybe she should finish high school first. Just crazy.

ANDERSON: Either way, this controversial pregnancy is setting the table for a lot of heated dinner time debates over the holidays.

(END VIDEOTAPE)

(on camera): To marry or not to marry. I can tell you that people are just so fired up about this from coast to coast, and that includes Howard Bragman all-star publicist and founder of Fifteen Minutes Public Relations. Howard is with me tonight in Hollywood. And in New York tonight, our very opinionated friend, Court TV anchor, Lisa Bloom.

LISA BLOOM, COURT TV ANCHOR: That`s me.

ANDERSON: Yes. Great to see you both. Hey, Lisa, I want to start with you. What do you think? Should the 16-year-old, Jamie Lynn Spears get married to her teenaged boyfriend or do you think that would be a big mistake?

BLOOM: I think it is a big mistake. This is why only gay people should be allowed to get married. Because heterosexuals get married for the craziest reasons. Getting married doesn`t mean you are going to have a good relationship. You are going to be a responsible person. You are going to be good at changing diapers. You`re going to be able to work things out. What they should do is try to build a relationship together and they should learn how to do that.

It is not easy to do under these circumstances. But getting married, if anything - Jamie Lynn Spears, please, get a pre-nup. This is a guy didn`t go to college. He`s a working class, blue-collar guy - that`s great. She is making a lot of money. She has a great career ahead of her. And if it doesn`t work out, she`s only going to have the ugly divorce battle that her big sister has been engaged in the last couple years.

ANDERSON: Howard, what is your take on this? Is marriage the answer, or like Lisa said, would that just compound the problem?

HOWARD BRAGMAN, CELEBRITY PUBLICIST: Brooke, have you ever been in a wedding? You`re a guest at the wedding and you are looking up they`re saying the vows and you are shaking your head, oh this one is not going to take. OK?

ANDERSON: Or, oh, I hope this one lasts. Yes.

BRAGMAN: But even there are times when you may hope but you know this one isn`t working, OK? I mean, should they get married? No, they`re children. I have seen nothing at least in the Spears` family that indicates she knows anything about parenting, that she learned anything from her parents. No, no, no. They`re headed for divorce court. They`re headed for Judge Judy. Lisa is right; let`s leave well enough alone. And put this kid up for adoption, OK?

ANDERSON: Oh, wow. OK. Yes, Lisa, I heard you there.

BLOOM: That`s a tough one though. That`s very hard on the mother. There have been a lot of studies about mothers who do that and the lifelong trauma and pain they go through. I don`t know if that is necessarily a good idea. But look, it`s not 1950.

People used to have shotgun weddings because we didn`t want to have illegitimate children who would be stigmatized for life because they`re born into unwed parents. We don`t do that anymore. This kid is going to be loved, cherished and adored. They don`t have to get married to worry about having not an illegitimate child. I think that`s the point.

ANDERSON: Do you think they`re thinking rationally at this point, Lisa? Because these are life-altering decisions. They`re not little decisions here.

BLOOM: Right. I don`t think they`re thinking rationally. And they want to do the "right thing," quote, unquote. It`s hard to say what that is. She has decided she is keeping the baby. That is her choice. I support her choice. I support any woman`s choice when she is pregnant as to what she wants to do about it. That`s her choice.

But getting married is not an instant solution to problems in a relationship. If anything, it can make it worse. And it could create so many legal problems if it doesn`t work out.

ANDERSON: Well, you would think and hope in this situation that Jamie Lynn`s parents would be uniting during this very difficult time, right? Not. Her father is reportedly mad at his ex-wife for letting Jamie Lynn do this now-infamous "OK!" magazine cover story announcing her pregnancy. Howard, is this just another example of how dysfunctional this family seems to be?

BRAGMAN: This family is founders of dysfunction junction. The father is the mayor. The mother is the first lady of dysfunction junction. They do not have proper role models to raise family, these children. It`s sad. They need to go to parenting courses. The parents need to be in counseling.

You do not take your pregnancy and use it as a money-making career- boosting venture for a magazine. This is a child and this is a life we are talking about. And I look at Britney`s kids in the back of the car holding each other`s hands and I`m reminded every time I see that picture, all the kids have is each other. Because I don`t know what the hell else they have. And I fear for this child`s life. I really do. It is sad. Beyond belief. It truly is.

ANDERSON: Well, another thing a lot of people are discussing is that people saying that Jamie Lynn has destroyed her image as a role model to young girls. But listen to this. Do you, guys, remember Lisa Whelchel? She played Blair in the `80s TV show, "The Facts of Life."

Well, she just came out in support of Jamie Lynn, telling "People" magazine, quote, "I`m so proud of her for stepping up and being courageous and taking responsibility for her choices. And I believe she`s a good role model and a good role model in that situation to choose to have baby, And I am supportive of her in that situation.

Lisa has been a very prominent Christian mother for a long time. Lisa Bloom, do you agree with her?

BLOOM: Well, I agree that we should not be shaming Jamie Spears. I didn`t like "The New York Post" headline yesterday, "The Family Shame," and a picture of Jamie Spears. It`s not a shame for a 16-year-old girl to have sex. That`s what she did. Birth control wasn`t there or it failed. And she`s making a choice now and that`s a choice that should be respected.

ANDERSON: Right. She sounds like she is trying to take responsibility that the baby is her first priority as it should be. OK, Howard Bragman, Lisa Bloom. Thank you both. Great to see you.

BLOOM: Thank you.

BRAGMAN: Thanks.

ANDERSON: OK. Britney and Jamie Lynn`s mom wrote a book about raising kids in a tabloid world. Some may think a good title for it would be "How to Raise Two Tabloid Train Wrecks." Anyway, now we`re hearing the book may come out after all, even in light of Jamie Lynn`s pregnancy news. I just have to ask, is this a good idea? We`ve got a heated debate at 30 minutes past the hour. Also this.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

CHRIS CROCKER, BRITNEY SPEARS` FAN: All you people want is more, more, more, more, more! Leave her alone!

(END VIDEO CLIP)

ANDERSON: Break out the Kleenex, everybody. SHOWBIZ TONIGHT is playing the crying game. The tears are flowing freely. And it`s all caught on tape when stars break down, coming up.

And Paris Hilton is back on the big screen. Oh, yes. Her new film is called "The Hottie and the Nottie." I guess Meryl Streep wasn`t available so Paris got the part. You definitely don`t want to miss this. We`ve got your first look, coming up.

(COMMERCIAL BREAK)

ANDERSON: Welcome back to SHOWBIZ TONIGHT, TV`s most provocative entertainment news show. I`m Brooke Anderson in Hollywood. Tonight, the celebrity crying game. From Ellen DeGeneres to Heather Mills-McCartney, we`ve seen more stars cry on TV than ever before.

So what`s the deal? Are things in Hollywood that bad, or are the stars just overreacting? It is a showbiz special report "Tears in Tinseltown."

(BEGIN VIDEOTAPE)

ANDERSON: Crying - everyone does it. "I Love Lucy," especially when she did it. Babies do it too. Even guilt-stricken televangelists cry.

JIMMY SWAGGART, TELEVANGELIST: I have sinned against you, my Lord.

ANDERSON: But when some the biggest stars in Hollywood turn on the water works, it becomes a watershed moment. These days, it seems like anything and everything has Tinseltown melting down. It`s been one blubbering mess.

PAULA ABDUL, ACTRESS: I get screwed over so much and I work so hard.

ANDERSON: After another.

ELLEN DEGENERES, HOST, "THE ELLEN DEGENERES SHOW": And I feel totally responsible for it and I am so sorry.

ANDERSON: SHOWBIZ TONIGHT has to ask, what is with all the welling and why can`t we stop watching these weepy train wrecks?

COOPER LAWRENCE, SYNDICATED RADIO HOST: If people cry on camera one of two things happens; either you watch and you got silly sympathetic or feel awful for them. And then there`s Heather Mills.

ANDERSON: Ah, Heather Mills. The estranged wife of Paul McCartney is mad as hell and she is not taking it anymore.

HEATHER MILLS, EX-WIFE OF PAUL MCCARTNEY: Rubbish. I can sell my story right now.

ANDERSON: Heather came out swinging on the British morning show "GMTV," but suddenly was reduced to this.

MILLS: I`ve had worse press than a pedophile or murderer.

MICHAEL YO: When I saw Heather Mills crying, I was like, seriously you had just been married to Paul McCartney just for four years and your getting $70 million. And then you`re complaining? You`re complaining how the media is attacking you? Come on you are a grown adult.

LAWRENCE: It did not ring true, every time I saw her on the media-leave- me-alone tour. I kept thinking, well then, you leave us alone.

ANDERSON: Then there is Ellen DeGeneres and her dog-day dilemma.

DEGENERES: But today is a hard day for me to hit back.

ANDERSON: It was definitely a hard day for Ellen when she admitted to violating a dog adoption agreement by giving her adopted dog, Iggy, to another family.

DEGENERES: When things are going so terribly wrong right now.

YO: When she came out and sat on the couch and grabbed a little tissue and started crying, I was like, oh my god something must have happened to somebody very, very close to her. I hope it wasn`t her best friend. I hope it wasn`t her family.

DEGENERES: It`s not their fault. It`s my fault.

YO: This is all about a dog. No way.

LAWRENCE: I don`t think she did this to manipulate her audience. I think she genuinely was feeling like that.

DEGENERES: What a great show we have today.

BRITNEY SPEARS, POP STAR: You have to realize that we`re people.

ANDERSON: On NBC`s "Dateline," Britney Spears wept over being a paparazzi target.

B. SPEARS: I would like for them to leave me alone.

ANDERSON: Flash forward a year later, and someone has finally come to Brit`s defense.

CROCKER: Leave Britney alone!

ANDERSON: Actor and YouTube phenomenon, Chris Crocker, made an Internet plea heard around the world to leave Britney alone. And it got everybody talking.

YOU: Leave Britney alone! He gets so much exposure, this Chris Crocker guy. People have got to remember, he is an actor. Does he care about Britney Spears?

CROCKER: Because all you people want is more, more, more, more, more! Leave her alone!

ANDERSON: Crocker cried his way to fame and so did one unforgettably sullen little girl.

(MUSIC)

SHOWBIZ TONIGHT can tell you the crying girl on "American Idol" saw something in finalist Sanjay Malakar that most people couldn`t see - talent.

YO: You have a girl crying, crying over Sanjaya, a person that can`t sing, a person that has no talent and you are crying over him. Are you serious? This is pathetic.

ANDERSON: Ah, Michael, you haven`t seen anything yet. It was a sad reality when, in a split second, Paula Abdul, straight up, broke down on her reality show "Hey Paula."

SHOWBIZ TONIGHT can tell you Paula was all fun and games until she got a heart stopping text message that shook her to the core.

ABDUL: I`m in there, asked to executive produce, create and design the clothing and dolls for the Bratz movie. What am I supposed to do?

Poor Paula, what will you do? Oh, that`s right, you have that other job. So why the long face?

ABDUL: I can`t go through this.

YO: I mean, Paula Abdul that show was a train wreck and probably the main reason she was crying - it wasn`t about the movie deal. It wasn`t about her agent. She probably saw some advanced copies of the show.

LAWRENCE: She is pretty rich that Paula, and her life seems pretty good. She gets very little sympathy from me. I think Paula Abdul has a very nice life.

ABDUL: Judd(ph), please. I`m trying to tell Daddy a story!

ANDERSON: Oh, how we love a good cry on TV. But why can`t we stop watching?

LAWRENCE: When stars cry, we love it because it`s a little peek behind the curtain. We get to see them be very real and very vulnerable.

ANDERSON: So when Hollywood cries, well, you just can`t help but cry about it.

YO: I`m so sad!

LAWRENCE: Why do people cry on camera? Oh. Go to break.

(END VIDEOTAPE)

ANDERSON: Oh, and another unforgettable crying moment in 2007 - I know you remember this. Paris Hilton crying on her way back to jail in a police car.

OK, so one of the most shocking aspects of Jamie Lynn Spears` pregnancy at 16 years old. Jamie Lynn and Britney`s mom has actually written a book about raising kids in the spotlight. Now it looks like it may be published after all. I want to know, should it hit the shelves or should the whole project be shelved forever? We`ve got the heated debate on Mama Spears at 30 minutes past the hour. We will also have this -

LARRY KING, HOST, "LARRY KING LIVE": Are you going to spend Christmas in New Orleans?

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

BRAD PITT, ACTOR: I`m loathe to say so because I don`t want to invite more paparazzi here. But yes.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

ANDERSON: OK. Paparazzi. How about you give the Brangelina bunch a Christmas miracle and leave them alone for the holidays. I`m just saying. So how does the most beautiful family on the planet celebrate Christmas? Brad talks about their holiday plans next.

And just in time for Oscar season, Paris Hilton back on the big screen. OK, you heard of "War and Peace" and Pride And Prejudice." Well, Paris` new classic is called "The Hottie and the Nottie." Stay right where you are. We have your first look, coming up.

(COMMERCIAL BREAK)

ANDERSON: You get the feeling that every day is like Christmas for Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie. They`re A-list movie stars. They have beautiful children, tons of money. So what is Christmas really like in the Pitt- Jolie household. On "LARRY KING LIVE," Brad Pitt opened up about how they celebrate.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

KING: Are you going to spend Christmas in New Orleans?

PITT: I am loathe to say so because I don`t want to invite paparazzi here. But yes. Yes. Yes, I will. I will admit that.

KING: What are the Brad Pitt Christmas traditions? Do you open the gifts the night before or the morning of?

PITT: Well, you know, we picked out the tree. We decorated the tree. And now, we`re getting gifts for each other and understanding that Christmas is - that it is about getting gifts for others, not just getting them. So we`ve been working on that one. That`s it. That`s where we are right now.

KING: When you have children from different countries, are there different traditions involved?

PITT: Well we are trying to incorporate Kwanzaa and other, other traditions that we are just learning about ourselves. But, yes, we hope to be a multi-ceremonial family as well.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

ANDERSON: Brad is in New Orleans working on his "Make It Right" charity, helping to rebuild the Lower Ninth Ward.

So, one of the most shocking aspects of Jamie Lynn Spears` pregnancy at 16 years old. Jamie Lynn and Britney`s mom has written a book about raising kids in the spotlight. And now it looks like it may be published after all. But I want to know, should it hit the shelves or should the project be shelved forever? We`ve got the heated debate, next. We`ll also have this -

And Heidi Klum and Seal. You know, they`re one of the cutest couples in Hollywood, with all the kids, the busy careers. How in the world do they make their relationship work? Heidi told me it all comes down to one thing and it is not the Victoria Secret lingerie. What Heidi revealed. You don`t want to miss. That is coming up. SHOWBIZ TONIGHT will be right back. Keep it here.

(NEWS BREAK)

(COMMERCIAL BREAK)

ANDERSON: On SHOWBIZ TONIGHT, the Spears` saga gets even more dicey. Will the 16-year-old sister of Britney Spears actually get married? And should she? Plus, a book by Britney and Jamie Lynns` mom may not be what we thought after all. SHOWBIZ TONIGHT with the never ending twists and turns of the Spears` drama. Also this -

(END VIDEO CLIP)

ANDERSON: Paris Hilton as you`ve never seen her before. You won`t want to miss this. A showbiz first look at Paris` latest film, "The Hottie and the Nottie."

(MUSIC)

ANDERSON: Welcome back to SHOWBIZ TONIGHT. It is 30 minutes past the hour. I`m Brooke Anderson coming to you tonight from Hollywood. A.J. is off. You are watching TV`s most provocative entertainment news show.

Tonight, the Spears` saga takes even more dramatic turns. Will 16-year-old Jamie Lynn Spears get married now that she is expecting a baby? That`s what we are hearing tonight from relatives of Casey Aldridge, the 18-year- old who is the father.

Casey`s uncle tells "The New York Post" they want to get married. SHOWBIZ TONIGHT can also tell you this development. Jamie Lynn`s mom Lynn isn`t writing a parenting book after all. The book`s publisher now says it`s actually a memoir. The release has been put on ice indefinitely.

And now Nickelodeon, the network that airs Jamie Lynn`s show, "Zoey 101," says it`s considering running a special on teen pregnancy. All right, it seems that everybody has opinions about all of these developments and that includes SHOWBIZ TONIGHT`s fired up coast-to-coast panel. Let`s get right to it.

With us tonight in New York, Court TV anchor, Lisa Bloom. In Hollywood tonight, Howard Bragman, founder of Fifteen Minutes Public Relations. Also in Hollywood Carlos Diaz, a correspondent for "Extra."

All right. As we know, guys, a lot of people have been criticizing Lynn Spears for even thinking about writing a book about family when her daughters` lives are anything but perfect. OK, none of us is perfect. I know this. And, Lisa, I hate to be skeptical. Actually, I do want to be a little bit skeptical here. I`ve got to ask you, is this spin control that the publisher is calling it a memoir?

BLOOM: I think it could be interesting as a memoir. Because a memoir implies you tell the good, the bad and the ugly. Maybe she`ll confess she never talked to her daughters about birth control, for example, which a lot of parents of teens don`t do and should do. Don`t count on the schools to do it.

In Louisiana, it`s abstinence-only education, which we know doesn`t work and results in the highest rates of teen pregnancy. So, maybe she failed to do that. Maybe she feels bad about it. Maybe we all can learn something from her. I salute her.

ANDERSON: Yes. You know, it is an uncomfortable topic for parents to have with their children a lot of times. I think this pregnancy is raising that issue and people are discussing it, which is a great thing.

Howard, what do you think? Do you buy it? Or do you think that they`re - if there were a hint that the mother of Britney and Jamie Lynn Spears might be suggesting to anyone how to be a parent, that the book would go into the humor section of bookstores?

BRAGMAN: Brooke, this is great stuff. You know, writers` strike or not, we couldn`t make this up. This is better than we could imagine. I think it is going to be a big hit. I think it`s going to be in the bookstore next to Mel Gibson`s favorite kosher recipes. It think it`s going to be a really big seller.

No. Who can take this seriously? I don`t care how they spin this. This is DOA. It`s right up there with "If I Did It," maybe "If I Raised Them Properly" by Lynn Spears. And this is going to be a great book. I want to publicize the book. I really do.

ANDERSON: And I think you should be a writer on the side, Howard, in addition to publicity work that you do. Well, I want to share a statement with you, guys, that the publisher of the book gave to SHOWBIZ TONIGHT. The book is called "A Real Story of Fame and Family in a Tabloid World."

The publisher says, quote, Lynne`s memoir will provide a window into the real-life world of fame and the worldly success, including toll it extracts from some who aspire to it."

Carlos, I want you to absorb that for a second, "The toll it extracts from some who aspire to it." With the Spears family, that is a book that will have more pages in it than "War and Peace."

CARLOS DIAZ, CORRESPONDENT, "EXTRA": Isn`t that the name of Britney`s new single "War and Piece of Me?" And "Extra" got another little excerpt from the publisher. It says, "It will provide a much needed corrective to a world obsessed with the wrong priorities." So in other words, the Spears` family is going to teach us about priorities. It`s a Christmas miracle! You know?

I mean, come on. I think it is genius, though, to go from it being a book about how to raise your kids to being a memoir. Because now it is instead of like, finding out how to raise kids, it`s the juicy details that everyone loves.

ANDERSON: Right. It`s genius marketing, if nothing else. Lisa, what do you think? Is this another case of another parent of another famous kid - are you listening Dinah Lohan - trying to make a buck off the fame of their child?

BLOOM: Yes. If only my kids could get famous, and then I could just write a book and retire. I mean, that would be my dream come true. Look, Tiger Woods parents wrote a great book, "Raising A Tiger." They raised a wonderful young man. And people could read the book and learn what they did and follow it. That`s great.

Clearly, this cannot be a parenting book. I mean, Britney with substance abuse problems, with the problems with her kids. I mean that alone would negate any kind of parenting book. But I would be very interested if she comes clean. She is going to do the talk show circuit. She`s going to be answering hard questions. She is going to be crying. This is going to be very entertaining.

ANDERSON: Howard, what are your thoughts? You know, a lot of times, a parent of a celebrity - there is a challenge there. Roles are reversed if the child is the gravy train?

BRAGMAN: That`s absolutely what happens very often in Hollywood. And you look at this mother who has two little gravy trains. They just raked in the money off "OK!" magazine. "OK, honey, now we`re going to do the book."

These are not businesses. These are human beings. And when you treat them as businesses and when you confuse the parental relationship with the business relationship, you are in trouble. I`ve seen a lot of mothers who are managers. I have seen once or twice in my whole history where it`s worked. Get out of the way. Get some professional help for yourself and some professional consultants for your daughter. And maybe there, maybe there is a chance it will help - but that`s a big maybe.

ANDERSON: All right. Well, in another development, as we`ve mentioned. Nickelodeon, which has been under a lot of pressure to cancel Jamie Lynn`s hit show "Zoey 101" is thinking of doing a teen pregnancy special. Carlos, if they do it, what do you think? Should Jamie Lynn be a part of it and say, "Hey, look at what happened to me." Good idea or bad idea?

DIAZ: Yes. let`s see here. No, that would be very bad for Jamie Lynn. What Jamie Lynn needs to do in so far her as relationship with Nickelodeon - The only way Nickelodeon can move forward with Jamie Lynn is if they write into "Zoey 101" that the character is pregnant and they can control the plot lines.

Having Jamie Lynn on the special would not be good for Nickelodeon. I think that`s brave that Nickelodeon is doing the special. And I think it`s a good thing to raise awareness about teen pregnancy. But Jamie Lynn needs to stay out of it. Maybe go on Oprah and then beg Nickelodeon to write into the plot line of "Zoey 101" that her character is pregnant.

ANDERSON: Lisa, what do you think? Any down side to having Jamie Lynn do it?

BLOOM: No, I`d like to see her out there. I`d like to see these words uttered on Nickelodeon - birth control. Call it what it is, OK? Almost half of 16-year-olds in this country are sexually active. There is no shame in talking about birth control. Let`s talk about it, so that other kids don`t have the problem.

I would love to se Jamie Lynn Spears talking about it. Otherwise, what does she have left to do, just sell pictures of her baby like Larry Birkhead for the rest of her life? Is that how she will make a living? Let her get out there talk about what she did. Maybe she can have a future. Maybe she can have a career. I think a lot of people would respect her.

ANDERSON: Yes. Maybe so. Let`s discuss it. Howard, you are one of the most powerful respected publicists in Hollywood. I want to get your take on this. If Jamie Lynn were your client, would you say do a pregnancy special?

BRAGMAN: I`m still imagining the pregnant Jamie Lynn on the cover of "Highlights for Children" in her nude photo. I really - I can`t get that image out of my mind.

ANDERSON: That`s terrible. You know, I don`t see this the way everybody else sees this. I see this as sibling rivalry in a PR war all at once. Britney is thinking, "I had a pretty good year. I shaved my head. I dominated entertainment news." And then all of a sudden, at the end of the year, Jamie comes in, scores this touchdown with the pregnancy, spikes, and goes, "Ha, big sis! I have outdone you."

You watch within one year, big sister will be pregnant. Mark my word. I`ll bet money to a charity. This is a publicity war.

BLOOM: You can`t think she is enjoying this, this 16-year-old girl.

ANDERSON: Wow.

BLOOM: You can`t believe that.

ANDERSON: All right. No. I can`t believe it either. Howard Bragman, though -

BRAGMAN: No. We`re all so gullible.

ANDERSON: That is a prediction. We`ll talk to you in a year. Carlos Diaz, thank you. Lisa Bloom - as always, thanks so much.

(BEGIN VIDEOTAPE)

UNIDENTIFIED ACTRESS: Class, we have a new student today.

VOICE OVER: You never forget your first love.

UNIDENTIFIED ACTRESS: Her name is Cristabelle.

VOICE OVER: Just ask Nate Cooper, 20 years later.

JOEL MOORE: Aren`t you Cristabelle Abbot. I think we went to school together.

HILTON: Nate Cooper.

VOICE OVER: He`s getting a second chance.

HILTON: So, what is it that you do these days?

JOEL MOORE: I am a personal trainer.

HILTON: You should check out my gym. My roommate and I are going there this afternoon for yoga. Do you want to come?

MOORE: Yes.

VOICE OVER: But the only way to get her.

HILTON: Hey, Cooper.

VOICE OVER: Is to get past her.

HILTON: Do you remember June?

MOORE: Yes, who could forget June?

UNIDENTIFIED ACTOR: It`s a very well known law of physics; the hotness of one girl is directly proportional to the ugliness of her best friend.

HILTON: I made a promise to myself that I am not going to date anyone again until June has some one special in her life.

MOORE: That could be a very long time.

UNIDENTIFIED ACTOR: She is like some hideous dragon guarding the princess.

MOORE: I`ve got a plan.

UNIDENTIFIED ACTOR: Like I said, as long as she is female. Oh, my god. It has whiskers and no teeth.

MOORE: She has teeth. They`re just not the conventional shade.

HILTON: Let`s go get some sun.

CHRISTINE LAKIN, ACTRESS: Good news. I just lost my toenail.

VOICE OVER: Regent releasing presents -

MOORE: I have found the perfect guy for her.

UNIDENTIFIED ACTOR: Cheers.

UNIDENTIFIED ACTOR: You have unbelievable bone structure. Have you ever done any modeling?

UNIDENTIFIED ACTOR: He is just buttering her up the freak to get to Cristabelle.

UNIDENTIFIED ACTOR: This is your competition, my man. You are so screwed.

VOICE OVER: This Valentine`s Day -

HILTON: I love this song.

UNIDENTIFIED ACTOR: He stole my mojo.

HILTON: That was hard.

MOORE: Johann(ph) happens to be the devil.

VOICE OVER: Open your heart -

MOORE: Ever since the first grade, I thought you were the girl that I was meant to be with.

VOICE OVER: And close your eyes.

MOORE: Sorry.

HILTON: Nice. June and I don`t get much action. So, we take what we can get.

VOICE OVER: Paris Hilton. Joel David Moore. Christine Lakin(ph). "The Hottie and the Nottie."

UNIDENTIFIED ACTOR: If you give up on your dream you die.

MOORE: Are you quoting me "Flash Dance?"

(END VIDEOTAPE)

ANDERSON: And "The Hottie and the Nottie" is scheduled to hit theaters this February. OK. If you can`t wait until February to see that film, we`ve you covered.

Tonight, SHOWBIZ TONIGHT is bringing you the must-see smaller films you just can`t miss this holiday weekend. We`re talking about the very talented Ellen Page in "Juno"; John Cusack in "Grace is Gone"; Philip Seymour Hoffman and Laura Linney in "The Savages"; and of course, the best- selling novel made into a movie, "The Kite Runner." SHOWBIZ TONIGHT`s A.J. Hammer sat down with "People" magazine`s Leah Rosen for holiday picks.

(BEGIN VIDEOTAPE)

A.J. HAMMER, SHOWBIZ TONIGHT CO-HOST: Leah, let`s start off with "Juno." This is one of the best films for me that I`ve seen in a long time. It got some Golden Globe nominations. And I think Ellen page will surely get an Oscar nomination for her lead role in this.

LEAH ROSEN, FILM CRITIC: This is a film I just love. It`s this irreverent comedy about a pregnant teenager. It goes places you just don`t expect it to go. Terrific cast. In the end, really this very appealing story and funny. I mean, you`re going to laugh at this thing. "Juno" you will hear about it at Golden Globes. You`re going to hear about it at Oscar time.

HAMMER: I absolutely thought Ellen Page, as I mentioned, was terrific. But the nice thing about the film is it does have that sort of small studio feel. You know, it`s kind of had the gritty edge to it that I really dug despite the fact it also had some big name actors in it.

ROSEN: Yes. But, I mean, this is a little film. It`s directed by Jason Wrightman who did "Thanks for Smoking," a great film. He`s got a real comic vision and it`s got a script that sounds different than anything else you`ve seen.

HAMMER: Let`s talk about "Grace is Gone" with John Cusack, one of my favorite actors, about the war in Iraq. Kind of, but not a war movie, by any stretch.

ROSEN: But what I really like about the film is it`s about Iraq but not. What they`ve done is let`s take a look at the effect of a death in Iraq on a family. So John Cusack plays a man whose wife has just died in Iraq. And he is trying to figure out how to tell his two young daughters.

It`s a terrific performance by John Cusack, and it`s a very different role than you`ve seen him in before. He`s not a smart aleck. He`s not a wise guy. He`s sort of this man who has a hard time expressing himself. So it`s really good performance. Really nice film. And the music is by Clint Eastwood, first time he has done a score for a movie other than one of his own. And boy, it makes the movie.

HAMMER: Yes. And he got nominated for his score.

ROSEN: For Golden Globe.

HAMMER: OK. "Kite Runner," based on the novel that came out last weekend. This is terrific, isn`t it?

ROSEN: This is a terrific film. Two little boys` affecting story set in Afghanistan. Two boys with a friendship then something very bad happens. And then you sort of go to the grownups. And sort of the story keeps the ripples, keep widening on these people. It`s a good film. It`s just very moving. Know that you are going to have to read some subtitles while you`re there.

HAMMER: Finally, I want to talk about "The Savages." You have been trying to get me to see this film for a while. Schedule hasn`t allowed, but over the holiday, I`m going to go check out Philip Seymour Hoffman in this. I know you think it`s terrific.

ROSEN: It is great. It`s got these brilliant performances by Philip Seymour Hoffman and Laura Linney. They play bickering adult siblings who now have to work together to take care of their elderly father. And they kind of have to realize it is time to finally grow up and put your past behind you. Very funny. Very poignant often at the same time. Great movie. Love "The Savages."

HAMMER: Yes. Really moving as well, isn`t it?

ROSEN: It`s very moving, but it`s bittersweet funny. Things happen. The kind of thing when your father has dementia and you put him into the, you know - he`s in the nursing home and he`s going, "Is this a hotel? What kind of hotel is this?" What can you do but laugh?

HAMMER: Leah Rosen, thank you as always.

ROSEN: You`re welcome.

(END VIDEOTAPE)

ANDERSON: And for more "Picks and Pans," you can pick up the year-end double issue of "People" magazine. It`s on newsstands now.

All right, super model Heidi Klum and her husband Seal seem to have it all. So what`s their secret to keeping their relationship strong despite the glare of the spotlight? I sat down with Heidi and she gave me a blunt, refreshing response to that question. You won`t want to miss what she said. That is coming up next on SHOWBIZ TONIGHT.

First, though, it is time for a look at what`s new for the holidays. Tonight, Christmas new albums from, a very varied group of artists. Josh Groban`s "Noel" is already a big hit with more than 1.5 million copies sold. I`m sure Oprah`s endorsement didn`t hurt sales.

Captain and Tennille are also out with a holiday album called "The Secret of Christmas." It`s their first studio album in 20 years, and includes Christmas classics and one called "I Want a Hippopotamus for Christmas."

The Isley Brothers also cover a bunch of Christmas standards on their new album, "I`ll Be Home for Christmas."

Keith Sweat puts an R & B spin on the holidays with "A Christmas of Love." And finally, Rick Springfield wants to spend "Christmas With You." His holiday album includes favorites like "Silent Night" and "Away in a Manger" and "O Come All Ye Faithful." Some of my favorites. And that`s a look at what`s new for the holidays. SHOWBIZ TONIGHT will be right back.

(COMMERCIAL BREAK)

ANDERSON: Welcome back to SHOWBIZ TONIGHT, TV`s most provocative entertainment news show. I am Brooke Anderson in Hollywood. Time now for "Making It Work." This is SHOWBIZ TONIGHT`s continuing coverage of celebrity couples who are making their relationships work in Hollywood.

Tonight Heidi Klum and Seal. The supermodel and her husband, singer Seal, have been together for almost five years. Even though they`re constantly under the glare of the spotlight, they`re stronger than ever. I sat down with Heidi and I asked her how she keeps the spotlight from getting in the way of her relationship. Listen to this.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

HEIDI KLUM, SUPERMODEL: I don`t think it has anything to do with, you were saying to be in the spotlight. To be in the spotlight or not being in the spotlight. It is either it works or it doesn`t in a way. You know, I feel like, you know it is really working because we are really in love. And we are very, we appreciate each other. And you know we are very proud of each other, I think.

And respect is the most important thing. You know you have to be respectful to the other person and vice versa. I think that is the most important thing in anything. I don`t think it has anything to do with being in the limelight or not. I think it is just what happens at home is the most important thing or wherever you go. It has - the hearts have to be really - everything has to be really connected. I think then you are fine.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

ANDERSON: And they are fine. Heidi and Seal have three kids. One of their children is from Heidi`s previous relationship. You can catch Heidi on the reality show "Project Run Way" on Bravo.

Thursday, we asked you to vote on our SHOWBIZ TONIGHT question of the day. It was this, "Jamie Lynn Spears Pregnant: Should Nickelodeon cancel her show, "Zoey 101"? Seventy-five percent of you say yes, they should. Twenty-five percent of you say no.

Here`s some of the e-mails we received. Lisa from Washington, D.C. thinks "Zoey 101" should be canceled. She writes, "She should have learned from her sister. I would hope this girl`s career is over."

Bree from New York says there`s hope for Jamie Lynn. She writes, "I do understand that mistakes happen and it seems as if Jamie Lynn is taking responsibility for her actions. That`s good!"

Still, Wendy from Texas was disappointed by the news. She writes, "I have an 11-year-old who watches `Zoey.` I think that if you`re going to be a role model for your kids, that`s what you need to be."

Thank you so much for your e-mails. Please keep them coming. And thank you so much for watching SHOWBIZ TONIGHT. That is a wrap for SHOWBIZ TONIGHT. To our senior producer, Tammy Ruiz, I want to say you are an incredible talent and we`re going to miss you. I`m Brooke Anderson in Hollywood. The latest from "CNN HEADLINE NEWS" coming up next.
