(MUSIC)

I`m A.J. Hammer broadcasting tonight and every night from New York City.

ANDERSON: Hi there, everyone. I`m Brooke Anderson, coming to you from Hollywood. And we are all over the explosive new developments in the Hogan family drama, including a dramatic look at how Hulk Hogan`s son is living in jail. The very first pictures of what his jail cell is like. Plus, the SHOWBIZ TONIGHT exclusive with Linda Hogan`s attorney, all coming up.

HAMMER: But first, Gina Gershon`s rage over what she claims is the suggestion that she might have had sex with former President Bill Clinton. Tonight, as Hillary Clinton`s presidential campaign seems to be coming to an end, well, SHOWBIZ TONIGHT can tell you a brand new Clinton-related controversy is just beginning.

Gina Gershon, certainly one of Hollywood`s sexiest stars, is absolutely furious over reports that she claims suggest she got way too intimate with the former president. Tonight, SHOWBIZ TONIGHT is bringing you the very latest developments on this wild story making news right now.

(BEGIN VIDEOTAPE)

(voice over): We remember when Bill Clinton once said this about a certain woman.

BILL CLINTON, FORMER UNITED STATES PRESIDENT: I did not have sexual relations with that woman.

HAMMER: Now, actress Gina Gershon is making headlines for saying the same thing about the ex-president. Gershon, an actress known for steamy movies like "Show Girls Unbound" is plenty steamed about an article in "Vanity Fair" magazine that repeats rumors about her and former president Clinton. And with everyone talking about the presidential race, SHOWBIZ TONIGHT can tell you, this story might be sexier.

KATIE DARYL, TMZ TV: Here in Hollywood, we have all kinds of scandals and in Washington, D.C., there are scandals. But when you combine, it`s like the atom bomb has struck.

HAMMER: The explosion followed this "Vanity Fair" article about Bill Clinton and his inner circle. It`s just one line in the lengthy article that touched off this firestorm. It reads, quote, "Over the last few years, aides have winced at high-end Hollywood dinner party gossip that Clinton has been seen visiting with the actress Gina Gershon in California."

That is the one and only time Gershon`s name is mentioned.

DARYL: "Vanity Fair" didn`t officially say, "Hey, they were doing the dirty." .

HAMMER: Still, TMZ`s Katie Daryl tells SHOWBIZ TONIGHT, we probably won`t be seeing Gina at any more ""Vanity Fair"" parties any time soon.

DARYL: Gina and her lawyers have gone ahead and sent a letter to "Vanity Fair," saying that they need a retraction of this article and they want a full on apology.

HAMMER: SHOWBIZ TONIGHT brings you the nasty letter Gershon`s lawyer sent to "Vanity Fair." It says, quote, "The article outrageously insinuates that Ms. Gershon has had an inappropriate sexual relationship with President Clinton. This is absolutely false." It goes on to say Gershon, quote, "is extremely offended by the false and defamatory inference that she engaged in an adulterous relationship with the president."

DARYL: Then they go on to give facts, plus the fact that Gina was only alone with Mr. Clinton on three occasions and it wasn`t ever alone. There were hundreds of people in the room. This could never have happened.

HAMMER: Ex-president Clinton isn`t too happy about the article either. In this audio clip from the "Huffington Post," we hear the former president go off about the guy who wrote it.

B. CLINTON: He`s sleazy. He`s a really dishonest reporter. I haven`t read it. But the guy told me there`s five or six just blatant lies in there. But he`s a real slimy guy.

HAMMER: Sen. Hillary Clinton didn`t have a comment on the article. She has other things to deal with.

SEN. HILLARY CLINTON (D-NY), FORMER PRESIDENTIAL CANDIDATE: Now, the question is, where do we go from here?

HAMMER: But "Vanity Fair" is responding. In a statement, the magazine tells SHOWBIZ TONIGHT the article by Todd Purdum quote, "Does not indicate that former President Bill Clinton had an improper relationship with Gina Gershon. The story merely examines the concerns of some of Clinton`s aides about reports of his behavior. We don`t believe that any correction is warranted."

Todd Purdum tells CNN the same thing.

TODD PURDUM, "VANITY FAIR" COLUMNIST: I am careful to say that there is no clear-cut evidence that President Clinton has done anything improper.

DARYL: But Katie Daryl of TMZ says that "Vanity Fair" might have a point, and by sicking her lawyers on the magazine, the actress who may have overacted a bit in "Showgirls -"

GINA GERSHON, ACTRESS: We got off on the wrong foot.

HAMMER: Might be overreacting now.

DARYL: The fact Gina now and her people have come forward saying, "Oh, my gosh! There was no a relationship," kind of makes you step back to say, "Well, no one officially said you did."

HAMMER: But in Hollywood, just like in Washington, every rumor deserves a response.

B. CLINTON: I did not have sexual relations with that woman.

HAMMER: As juicy as the rumor.

(END VIDEOTAPE)

HAMMER: So I have to ask, did Gina Gershon make things worse for herself by coming out full guns blazing. Joining me tonight from Hollywood, Darren Kavinoky of the Kavinoky Law Firm; and "E! News" correspondent Ashlan Gorse.

All right. I just reported that the "Vanity Fair" article didn`t even say Gina Gershon had sex with Bill Clinton and her name was just in this passing reference. And frankly, a lot of people were not even talking about this until her attorney sent the scathing letter out, attacking "Vanity Fair". Darren, it seems like a dumb move to me.

ATTORNEY DARREN KAVINOKY, KAVINOKY LAW FIRM: Or so clever it only appears to be a dumb move, A.J.

HAMMER: Right you are.

KAVINOKY: Gina Gershon`s lawyers are the lawyers that celebrities typically go to to keep their names out of the paper. So either this was a massive backfire or this really was by design. And I`ll admit, Gina Gershon gets better tables at better restaurants and gets invited to better parties than I`ll ever hope to go to.

But she`s getting more buzz attached now than she did that showbiz movie, the striptease movie with Elizabeth Berkeley. You know, it`s certainly something that`s on the tips of everybody`s tongues now, even on the most provocative hour of entertainment television there is.

HAMMER: Yes. I can`t believe you forgot the name of "Showgirls." I mean, Darren, come on.

KAVINOKY: "Showgirls." Forgive me, please.

HAMMER: I`m sure it`s in your collection. No, I don`t mean that. Ashlan, what do you think? Aside from any, you know, collateral upside there may be for Gina here, she didn`t do herself any favors.

ASHLAN GORSE, CORRESPONDENT, "E! NEWS": No, full disclosure, "Showgirls" is honestly one of my favorite movies because it is awesomely bad. That aside, you know, this is one thing. When you`re being alluded to having an affair with a married man who happens to be the ex-president, I mean that is a big deal.

I don`t think I would have come out as guns as blazing - she brought out cannons, let`s put it that way. I would have had a little more hand guns, but you know, the fact that she actually went out of her way to make it such a big deal makes it look a little bad. You kind of second-guess them and why are they coming out that much. Is there a secret or does she want press?

HAMMER: Yes, there`s a point to what you`re saying. Now, I`ve got to take a look again at the one line in the "Vanity Fair" article that got Gina all hot and bothered, so to speak. This is it, quote, "Over the last few years, aides have winced at high end Hollywood dinner party gossip that Clinton has been seen visiting with the actress Gina Gershon in California."

Not only is Gina furious, she is now threatening this defamation lawsuit against "Vanity Fair". Darren, I`m not the lawyer around here. That`s your gig. This seems like a long shot to me, nonetheless.

KAVINOKY: And really to call it a long shot may be an overstatement. The statement doesn`t have to be explicit in order to support a defamation lawsuit. Innuendo alone can do it. But in this case, the idea that they were visiting is so vague, what does "visiting" mean anyway? It`s not as if they said, "Well, they shared a cigar together," or "They knew each other biblically."

The idea that somebody could be visiting could be they were at a dinner party together and shared a conversation. So I don`t think this is going to be a basis of a lawsuit.

HAMMER: It is amazing especially with the primary election just having finished. This is what everybody is talking about. At least, not as much perhaps as the election, but it`s right up there, including the ladies of "The View" having a wild time. Take a look at what they had to say about it.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

SHARI SHEPHERD, CO-HOST, "THE VIEW": People are sitting there going, you know, linking her with Clinton and it`s so unfair. You have nothing that is founded.

JOY BEHAR, CO-HOST, "THE VIEW": But I don`t think that that`s going to hurt her career. In this country, this is the kind of thing that elevates you.

(CROSS TALK)

WHOOPI GOLDBERG, CO-HOST, "THE VIEW": She doesn`t need to be elevated like that. She doesn`t need that. (CROSS TALK) It`s not good.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

HAMMER: Yes. It`s not good. I agree with you, Whoopi. What do you think, Ashlan? Is it Bill Clinton, the who is supposed to be really angry at Gina here for bringing so much attention to this at this point? I mean Bill has made it clear he is not happy about this, but maybe he should directing anger at Gina. I don`t know.

GORSE: Well, that`s true. It`s one thing to be not happy about it and ask for an apology. And it`s another thing to go after a major magazine in a defamation suit. I mean that just brings all the press to it. It turns everybody`s eyes to this, where it could have just been pushed under the rug kind of quietly. So I think that`s what`s kind of shocking a lot of people, like wow.

HAMMER: It`s really a (UNINTELLIGIBLE).

GORSE: It`s kind of a big deal.

HAMMER: Very, very strange. Darren Kavinoky, Ashlan Gorse, I thank you for being with us tonight.

Brooke, another thing that people just can`t stop talking about, the Hogan family drama.

ANDERSON: Yes, I was stunned, A.J., by Nick Hogan`s shocking request to be let out of jail.

(BEGIN AUDIO CLIP)

NICK BOLLEA, HULK HOGAN`S SON: I would do anything to get out of this room.

LINDA BOLLEA, NICK BOLLEA`S MOTHER: I know. Imprisoning by yourself is almost beyond what you deserve, don`t you think?

(END AUDIO CLIP)

ANDERSON: Up next, I`ve got a SHOWBIZ TONIGHT exclusive. I am going one on one with the attorney for Nick`s mom, Linda. You know, Linda refused to back her son`s desperate plea to be sprung from jail. This is the exclusive headline-making interview you`ll see only right here on SHOWBIZ TONIGHT. And still to come for the very first time, SHOWBIZ TONIGHT takes you inside Nick Hogan`s jail.

HAMMER: All right. Here`s something I just don`t get. Charlie Sheen and Denise Richards. Lindsay Lohan`s parents. They keep saying they`re going shut up, but then, you know, two seconds later, they are at each other again. Well, coming up, the SHOWBIZ TONIGHT "Divorce Court`s Just Zip It Edition" is in session.

ANDERSON: And the outrageous stories that got me saying, are you kidding me? Kevin Federline named Father of the Year and John Mayer driving around without a license plate? What?

HAMMER: But first remember, you can watch SHOWBIZ TONIGHT video any time. We`re posting new stuff for you to check out all the time at our Web site at CNN.com/ShowbizTonight. Among the videos playing right now, the inside story of the Hogan family drama.

(COMMERCIAL BREAK)

(BEGIN AUDIO CLIP)

N. BOLLEA: I would do anything to get out of this room.

L. BOLLEA: I know. Imprisoning you by yourself is almost beyond what you deserve, don`t you think?

(END AUDIO CLIP)

ANDERSON: That was just one of the explosive taped jailhouse conversations between Linda Hogan and her son Nick, but does she now regret it?

Welcome back to SHOWBIZ TONIGHT, TV`s most provocative entertainment news show. I`m Brooke Anderson in Hollywood. Tonight, a SHOWBIZ TONIGHT exclusive, the attorney for Hulk Hogan`s wife right here, speaking out about those jailhouse tapes and Linda`s refusal to back her son`s plea to get out of jail early.

Joining me tonight from Miami, Florida, A.J. Barranco. Now, on the same day the Florida Sheriff`s Office released pictures of a jail cell like the one that her son Nick is locked up in. This after being sentenced for the car crash that nearly killed his friend. More of that a little later in the show. But first, A.J. Barranco, thanks so much for being here tonight on SHOWBIZ TONIGHT. We appreciate it.

BARRANCO: Thanks for inviting me.

ANDERSON: All right. We want to start with the judge turning down Nick`s request to get out of jail early because of the conditions he`s in. A.J., why did Nick`s own mother fight this release?

BARRANCO: Well, we made a decision that there was no chance this judge, a very fair judge and very conservative judge, had even made a ruling. And he`d made up his mind and there was no chance that he was going to change his mind. The judge is going to allow the sheriff to run the jail. The judge runs the court.

ANDERSON: But Linda didn`t want Nick to be released early. Why?

BARRANCO: No. That`s not the point. The point is we didn`t want any motions to be filed because we felt as though would stir the pot. This judge had made a decision. The sheriff is in charge of the jail. The judge is in charge of the sentence and there is no chance that he`s going to change his mind. So why spend the money, why spend the time, why stir up this mess any more than it is?

ANDERSON: OK. Well, in Linda a opposing Nick`s release, in the motion, you called it, quote, "An exercise in futility." It is not going to result in any improvement in Nick`s situation. And this is a manipulative father, Terry Bollea, who is manipulating his son and the public relations associated with this problem. This is not Linda`s decision. It`s not her decision. This is solely, unequivocally the position of the father."

Terry Bollea of course is Hulk Hogan`s real name. A.J., it kind of seems to me that Linda went out of her way to drag their nasty divorce into this. Is that what`s happening?

BARRANCO: Absolutely not. This is a - her decision is made entirely upon the facts and upon the law and upon the decisions of the court. As we said, the proper way to deal with this is to negotiate with the sheriff, to talk with the sheriff, not to file motions with the judge. The judge is going to let the sheriff do what he wants to do.

ANDERSON: OK. Well, I can understand also Linda`s despair. I`m sure, as a mother, she`s overwrought. This entire situation is devastating, but the way you are describing this situation, it seems to me that a lot of people might think, A.J., that - is she trying to disown Nick, distance herself from the crash, shirk responsibility as a parent here? What`s going on?

BARRANCO: Absolutely not.

ANDERSON: OK.

BARRANCO: She is number one. All her life, she has been a housewife and a mother. And she is foremost today a mother. She happens to be going through a divorce at this time.

But this lady - her life has been turned upside down. She is in the middle of a divorce. She has a negligence case against her. She has the criminal case of her son that she`s had to deal with. No, she is very much a mother. She talks to him every day, every chance that she gets. She is first and foremost a mother.

ANDERSON: OK. And she does talk with him and I do want to get to those jailhouse conversations that were taped between Linda and her son, Nick. Also Linda, her son, Nick and even Hulk are heard basically slamming the victim in this whole case, John Graziano. Let`s listen as Linda talks with Nick about John Graziano`s mother.

(BEGIN AUDIO CLIP)

L. BOLLEA: John never meant anything to her or Ed. It`s sad because I really appreciated you kids and I just - I miss John and I miss you too and it`s like she`s not suffering. I am. I have the loss. She doesn`t give two (EXPLETIVE DELETED).

(END AUDIO CLIP)

ANDERSON: A.J., I can understand she is very emotional, but I`ve got to say a lot of people were saying how dare she. John Graziano in a semi- comatose state; Nick is in jail for eight months. How dare she say that?

BARRANCO: Well, first of all, you have to understand John virtually was her son. He lived with her for the last six years. He went on vacations with them and went to dinner with them, and he went everywhere with them. He was a member of the family. She didn`t just - this is a double tragedy.

ANDERSON: Yes.

BARRANCO: She didn`t just have a son go to jail. She has a son who is paralyzed in a hospital right now. She has that son and she has a son who is in jail, so she`s got a double whammy.

ANDERSON: Ten seconds. Does she regret those taped phone conversations?

BARRANCO: Absolutely. I talked to her about it. I`ve advised her that she has to be more careful about what she says because it`s going to be taped. She says, "You know, I really, really regret that I said that. I was talking out of frustration and anger and hurt and disappointment."

ANDERSON: Yes. Well, my heart goes out to everybody involved. A.J. Barranco, thanks so much for joining us. We really appreciate it.

BARRANCO: Thank you.

HAMMER: Well, Brooke, I know Nick feels solitary confinement is unfair, but I`ve got to say, I never thought he should be let out of jail and put on house arrest as he was asking for.

ANDERSON: You know, I agree with you. He definitely needs to be held responsible for nearly killing his friend.

HAMMER: But Brooke, tonight, for the first time, I`m taking you inside Nick`s jail. You don`t want to miss this revealing look at just what it`s like each and every day.

We`ve also got this.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

DENISE RICHARDS, ACTRESS: Any time he can take me down, he tries to. I just want to make a living. I`m raising our two daughters myself. I want to work. I need to work.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

ANDERSON: OK. There is Denise Richards going after her ex, Charlie Sheen, again. But here`s what I don`t get. Denise and Charlie, Lindsay Lohan`s parents keep saying they`re going to quit ripping into each other. Then just like that, they`re at it again. Why don`t they just zip it? Buckle up, the SHOWBIZ TONIGHT "Divorce Court" is coming up.

And the outrageous stories that have me saying are you kidding me? Kevin Federline named Father of the Year. And John Mayer driving around without a license plate. Really? Next.

(COMMERCIAL BREAK)

ANDERSON: And welcome back to SHOWBIZ TONIGHT. I`m Brooke Anderson and here are some outrageous stories that have got me saying, are you kidding me? Kevin Federline, Father of the Year. Now, let that sink in for a moment. Just in time for Father`s Day, Prive Night Club in Las Vegas has named Britney Spears` ex dad of the year. OK, so maybe K-Fed has cleaned up his act, but come on, Father of the Year?

Hey, John Mayer, didn`t your girlfriend, Jennifer Aniston, tell you not to drive around without a license plate? John got a ticket on Tuesday because his Land Rover was missing the tags. Now, the paparazzi had fun with this as you can see here in "Hollywood.TV`s" pictures.

And here`s foreclosure. Oh, this really hurts. Eighty-five-year-old TV legend, Johnny Carson`s sidekick, Ed McMahon could find himself kicked out of his house. He owes nearly $650,000 on his multi-million dollar Beverly Hills home. Now, we hear he is trying to work all this out with the mortgage company, but come on. Are you kidding me? You can`t evict Ed.

HAMMER: No, not Ed.

ANDERSON: Not Ed.

HAMMER: Ed McMahon actually one of my favorite guys. Well, he figures out if he`s going to be kicked out of his home. Nick Hogan is still asking to be sent home.

ANDERSON: Yes.

(BEGIN AUDIO CLIP)

N. BOLLEA: I would do anything to get out of this room.

L. BOLLEA: I know. Imprisoning you by yourself is almost beyond what you deserve, don`t you think?

(END AUDIO CLIP)

HAMMER: Nick and his mom`s shocking jail house phone call. They are but - what is life really like for Nick behind bars in solitary confinement? Well, tonight, I`ve got your very first look at the brand new pictures that tell this amazing story.

ANDERSON: You know, maybe they should lock up Denise Richards and Charlie Sheen and Lindsay Lohan`s parents in solitary. I am so sick of them saying they are going to keep quiet, then they turn around and start going at each other`s throats again. I sentence them to just zip it in the SHOWBIZ TONIGHT Divorce Court. Straight ahead.

HAMMER: All right. Do you know how Jack Black spilled the beans about Angelina Jolie being pregnant with twins? Tonight, Jack is saying it was his wife`s fault. He`s passing the buck.

But first, you can always stay on top of the most provocative entertainment news. Check out our daily SHOWBIZ TONIGHT newsletter. You can subscribe at CNN.com/ShowbizTonight. We are coming right back.

(COMMERCIAL BREAK)

HAMMER: On SHOWBIZ TONIGHT, inside Nick`s jail cell. Hulk Hogan`s son wants out, but he`s going to be there for a while. Now for the first time, we`re getting a look at what he`s going through. Is it really that unbearable? Does the punishment fit the crime? Tonight, SHOWBIZ TONIGHT is taking you inside Nick`s jail cell.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

RICHARDS: Any time he can take me down, he tries to. I just want to make a living. I`m raising our two daughters myself. I want to work. I need to work.

(END AUDIO CLIP)

HAMMER: Celebrity Divorce Court in session. Charlie and Denise. Lindsay Lohan`s parents. They say they want to get on with their lives and move on. So why are they all still making such explosive statements about each other? Tonight, SHOWBIZ TONIGHT asks why don`t they all just zip it?

(MUSIC)

HAMMER: Welcome back to SHOWBIZ TONIGHT. It`s 30 minutes past the hour. I`m A.J. Hammer, broadcasting tonight and every night from New York City.

ANDERSON: And I`m Brooke Anderson, coming to you tonight from Hollywood with TV`s most provocative entertainment news show.

HAMMER: Well, tonight, SHOWBIZ TONIGHT takes you inside the jail where Hulk Hogan`s son is locked up for eight months. Take a look at these brand new pictures of a cell. Now, this is just like the one where Nick has to spend his sentence for, of course, nearly killing his friend in a car crash.

Also, what is Nick`s life like behind bars in solitary confinement? Well, we have his daily schedule from the Pinellas County Jail right here. Tonight the very latest news in this tragic story which is already taking so many dramatic turns.

Joining me tonight from Hollywood, Attorney Darren Kavinoky. Also in Hollywood, "E! News" correspondent, Ashlan Gorse. And in Atlanta tonight, Attorney B.J. Bernstein.

All right, gang. So the sheriff`s office released these pictures after Nick was all whiney about his conditions, asking to be let out of early, which as we now know a judge flatly denied.

So take a look at the horrid conditions that Nick is complaining about here. He`s got a little stool. That`s the door where they pass the food through. He`s got a window in there. And I`m not kidding when I say this, this room is the same size of some of the rooms in boutique hotels in New York City, and it happens to be clean.

Darren, what do you think he expecting, a suite at the Ritz or something?

KAVINOKY: It`s so funny that you say that, A.J., because I was just in New York last week and his cell looks a little bit larger than my room at the boutique hotel where I was staying. And at least in this case, he gets to enjoy a shower by himself. If he were in general population where inmates often get to enjoy such things as fighting with other inmates or sexual assaults, he`d probably be whining even more.

Jail is designed to serve two purposes. It`s designed to punish the offenders and it`s designed to be a deterrent against those that might engage in similar activity in the future. And so it looks to me as if he`s just getting a little taste of both here.

HAMMER: Yes. And if you saw when the camera pans by the shower, it even has a shower curtain in his solitary confinement. He`s got shower privacy.

KAVINOKY: Total privacy.

HAMMER: B.J., what do you think? Is he nuts to think he`s got it so bad here?

B.J. BERNSTEIN, ATTORNEY: Well, I think we`re hearing the voice of a young man who has come from a completely different lifestyle. Remember, his father is Hulk Hogan. He`s been in the public spotlight, in the celebrity spotlight and probably hasn`t spent this much time alone in his whole life. And that coupled with knowing he is in jail, that he`s not getting out, that he doesn`t have the things he is used to, he probably is, on his own level, freaking out. Not that it`s right and certainly with what he did, but at the same time you can kind of see why that`s happening.

HAMMER: Yes, I guess in the perspective of the kind of life he`s led, there is no Escalade waiting outside that door for him. We know that he is in solitary confinement basically for his protection because he is a minor, even though he was charged as an adult. So that`s probably a good thing, but that being said, Nick is complaining that his room, his cell there, smaller than his bathroom at home.

What do you think, Ashlan? Nick perhaps thought he was getting his own jail wing?

GORSE: I mean I think that sometimes these celebrities think, even though it is jail, they`re going to get special treatment and they aren`t. I mean he is a minor, so therefore, he does have his own room. But that is hard to be in solitary confinement for anybody, especially a celebrity who is used to a lot more than that. So I think he was probably really surprised when they locked him in the door and he realized, "Oh, my god. I really have to sit in here for eight months." I think really, the reality just completely hit him.

HAMMER: Well as we continue to take you behind the scenes and give you a glimpse as to what Nick Hogan is experiencing in jail, I love this part. We got a hold - SHOWBIZ TONIGHT has obtained Nick`s jail schedule.

I want to show you what he is dealing with. Morning breakfast - look at that at approximately 3:30 in the morning in his cell. And then he`s working away from the cell between 8:00 and 2:00 p.m. He has lunch at 10:30 in the morning. Visitation happens between 3:00 and 4:00 p.m. three days a week. Dinner is around 4:00.

All right. I`ve got to admit, if somebody forced me to eat breakfast at 3:30, I might be a little cranky, too. But is it too harsh for somebody who caused an accident that left his friend in a semi-comatose state? I mean come on.

KAVINOKY: Yes. I`m not morning person either, A.J. And so getting up at 3:30 would cause me to feel a little bit unsettled as well. But, you know, here he is - he is in solitary confinement for his protection and that`s clearly a valid purpose.

I think if there is anything that is credible about his position, it`s the idea that those people who committed similar crimes who are above the age of 18 are in general population and they get other amenities and privileges such as being able to watch TV or make more liberal use of the phone.

But in this case, he is now alone with his thoughts and frankly that`s probably both at the same time terrifying and incredibly boring and that may be punishment enough.

HAMMER: Well, it`s probably a lot safer too than being in the general population which was the whole point in putting him there in the first place. You know, the fact that he is minor, let alone a celebrity. And as we reported, the judge in this case flatly denied Nick`s motion to get out of jail early with all of those complaints.

I`ve got to tell you, a lot of people are just outraged that Nick would even ask for such a thing, his house arrest, in the first place. I want you to take a look at the overwhelming response to our SHOWBIZ TONIGHT question of the day. I`m talking tens of thousands of people voting when we asked, "Hulk Hogan`s Son: Does he deserve to be released from jail early?" The results speak for themselves. Six percent said yes; 94 percent - unbelievable number - saying no.

And it seems our viewers, the judge, even Nick`s mom agree on one thing, Nick did the crime, shouldn`t he just do the time? B.J., why do you think that Nick and even his father Hulk Hogan, are having such a hard time seeing what is so clear to everybody else?

BERNSTEIN: I think it`s just being in shock and I wonder about their preparation and who prepared them for this. I do criminal defense day in and day out and although these clients are always celebrities - some of them are. You have to prepare them for the reality of prison and what can happen and get your mind set ready.

And it clearly seems like that didn`t happen. And to file the motion at this time really legally seems strange. Usually you see it much later in the jail sentence or you see what happened with Paris Hilton which is where they negotiate with the sheriff`s office to try to get an early release that way, and not go back to the same judge who just put you there.

HAMMER: Yes. Well, to that point and to the point I was making a moment ago that he`s probably a whole lot safer in solitary confinement, I`ve got to read a couple of these E-mails that came in to SHOWBIZ TONIGHT. We`ve got a ton of them.

This one coming from Russ in Canada who says, "Nick Hogan is getting a break in solitary. If the state let him in the prison population, his butt would be in danger."

Let me move from that. Sandra from Pennsylvania agreeing with the judge upholding Nick`s stay, saying, "I`m so sick and tired of those stars not paying for their crimes. Eight months in jail is the least he could do."

Well, you know, so many of our viewers believe Nick wants these special conditions because of his celebrity. Lindsay Lohan, Nicole Richie spending just hours in jail for their crimes. Ashlan do you think Nick deluded himself and thought, "Hey, I`m a Hogan and I`ll be out in just a couple of days."

GORSE: Hey. You know, I have to say one thing about him. It never hurts to ask. If you`re in jail, you might as well ask if you can get house arrest. I don`t hold asking against him. But I do think that the judge probably did the right thing in denying that. But hey, if you`re in there, you might as well ask for a little extra time. I think he does go in as a celebrity, but hopefully, he`s going to come out as somebody that served some time and changed his perspective a little bit. Or at least, we can only hope that.

HAMMER: The best advice my dad ever gave me is, "You get nothing if you don`t ask."

GORSE: Exactly.

HAMMER: The worse they can say is no. I still have no sympathy for Nick Hogan. Darren Kavinoky, Ashlan Gorse, B.J. Bernstein, thank you all for being here tonight.

We`ve been asking you to vote on our SHOWBIZ TONIGHT question of the day - "Hulk Hogan`s Son: Does he deserve to be released from jail early?" Let us know what you think at CNN.com/ShowbizTonight. Or E-mail us at showbiztonight@cnn.com.

ANDERSON: A.J., Hulk Hogan`s divorce has gotten pretty nasty, but they don`t really hold a candle to Charlie Sheen and Denise Richards.

HAMMER: Yes, not at all. I mean this battle has been going on for three years now, Brooke.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

RICHARDS: I hope that one day he and I can get to a place where we can co- parent together and at least have a friendly relationship, because this is not healthy for our kids to be this way.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

ANDERSON: Wait until you hear what Charlie is saying about Denise. Now, Divorce Court is in session with new explosive statements in their divorce and Lindsay Lohan`s parents. I`ve got to ask, why in the world don`t they just keep their mouth shut? That`s coming up in "Celebrity Divorce Court: The Just Zip It Edition."

HAMMER: Also - Oh, no. Guess who`s back? It`s Mr. Bill! Yes. After all these years, has the little guy`s luck changed? I`ll have that and what brought him back to life. Coming up.

ANDERSON: And when I was at the Cannes Film Festival, everybody was talking about how Jack Black spilled the beans about that fact that Angelina Jolie is expecting twins. Well, now, Jack is talking more about how that happened and you`re not going to believe where he is placing the blame. That`s still to come on SHOWBIZ TONIGHT.

HAMMER: Never forget. You can watch SHOWBIZ TONIGHT video any time. New stuff going up all the time. It`s CNN.com/ShowbizTonight. And among the videos that are playing right now, the Hogan family drama.

Any time he can take me down, he tries to. I`m raising our two daughters myself. I want to work. I need to work.

(COMMERCIAL BREAK)

RICHARDS: Any time he can take me down, he tries to. I just want to make a living. I`m raising our two daughters myself. I want to work. I need to work.

ANDERSON: Denise Richards on her nasty feud with ex-husband Charlie Sheen. And once again, nobody is zipping it.

Welcome back to SHOWBIZ TONIGHT, TV`s most provocative entertainment news show. I`m Brooke Anderson in Hollywood. Tonight, Hollywood divorce court, the "Just Zip It Edition," as everybody speaks out of both sides of their mouth.

In a brand new interview, Charlie Sheen said he is no longer going to publicly slam his ex-wife, Denise Richards and in the same interview goes out of his way to slam his ex-wife, Denise Richards.

And then there are Lindsay Lohan`s divorced parents who went back to court and then demanded the media leave their kids alone. Just one problem, though. The kids are the stars of Dina Lohan`s reality show.

Tonight from the Tru TV studios in New York, Ashleigh Banfield, host of Tru TV`s "Hollywood Heat." And with us tonight from Hollywood, Howard Bragman, founder of Fifteen Minutes Public Relations.

Ashleigh, Howard, it hasn`t even been a week since Charlie Sheen and Brooke Mueller got married. But surprise, surprise. Charlie still trashing his ex-wife, Denise. In a new interview with "OK" magazine, he says, quote, "I`m so tired of talking about her and all her shenanigans. It is what it is. I don`t even care anymore. I`m going to take a stand to basically never utter her name publicly again, and I thin if that`s known, it will put an end to some of the drama."

But in the same interview, he says, quote, "This feels like my first real marriage. The first one was a show, the second one was a con."

Howard Bragman, explain this to me. Is Charlie not speaking out of both sides of his mouth here?

HOWARD BRAGMAN, FOUNDER, FIFTEEN MINUTES PUBLIC RELATIONS: I think, you know, there are times when you think, "Well, wouldn`t you be better off being quiet?" But the best thing I can do is to compare it to a presidential campaign.

Charlie is a true squad here. He`s not going to let Denise say something without saying it. And for those of us who have been in more than one relationship, when you enter the new relationship, you sometimes feel like it is your first relationship. So I understand where Charlie is coming from here. And I expect him to continue to speak out and start to tell it the way he has seen it because he doesn`t want her to get any punches in without responding to him.

Yes. It`s kind of like a game of basketball here, on the defense, one minute and on the offense, the other. Ashleigh, you think Charlie just can`t really help himself here? He`s got to defend himself.

ASHLEIGH BANFIELD, HOST, "HOLLYWOOD HEAT": I think he is plagued by Denise and all that she does, and that has been evidenced in court. He took her to court to stop her from doing the reality show and lost, and that had to be humiliating. But he also shares these kids with her. So everything that happens in Denise`s life happens in his life. Whether he wants to say her name or not, it`s going to happen and he`s going to have to deal. I just think that he should just deal a little more quietly.

ANDERSON: Well, you know, I must say that Charlie Sheen did a fine job of not uttering her name. But I want you to take a look at what he said when he was asked how he stayed grounded during this bitter divorce. He told OK this, "I think it`s no accident that what`s-her-face chose this time to do what she did. It`s pretty obvious that Brooke and I, through our actions and union, are moving on with our lives. Perhaps somebody else should consider the same."

Obviously, the what`s-her-face is Denise Richards. We don`t know what he`s referring to in terms of what she did. Nonetheless, Howard Bragman, we are talking about two adults here. What`s-her-face? He sounds like a child.

BRAGMAN: Well, I understand what he is trying to do. He doesn`t want to call more attention to her. And I tell you, if you read the comments on the blogs. If you look at most of the polling that`s been done on TV shows and online, most people are on Charlie`s side of this, and I think he is empowered by this.

You see 75 percent to 80 percent of the people think Charlie is right and Denise is wrong. And he is also on the number two show on TV right now, so expect him to continue to defend himself.

ANDERSON: And I just want to say best wishes to Charlie and Brooke. May this marriage be a strong one.

OK. All through tonight, in the "Just Zip It Edition," of Hollywood Divorce Court, Lindsay Lohan`s parents, Michael and Dina, just headed back to court, battling over visitation rights of their two young kids. But they came out side by side and told the press to leave them alone. Take a look at what Dina`s attorney said.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

JOHN DIMASCIO, JR., DINA LOHAN`S ATTORNEY: They`re doing what`s in the best interest of the children and they would appreciate that they are allowed to participate in their children`s lives without the press.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

ANDERSON: Are you kidding me? Wait a second, Ashleigh. Isn`t Dina featuring her kids on a reality that she is getting slammed for?

BANFIELD: Yes. I don`t know if they`re using reverse psychology and asking us to back off coverage, at the same time, basically making employ out of every media outlet they can. I don`t know what it is they`re doing or what it is they`re saying.

All I know, Brooke, is that the amount of media they have been involved with up until this time with a celebrity daughter like Lindsay, they should know how the media works. If you talk, we will listen.

ANDERSON: And it`s not just Dina. Listen to this. Michael Lohan just inked a deal with "OK!" magazine to blog about the reality show. So Ashleigh, help me understand this. How is he going to blog about the reality show that features the kids while at the same time telling the press to stay away from stories about the kids? Yet, now he is the press. I don`t get it.

ASHLEIGH: I don`t know. You usually can`t have it both ways, right? You and I know how that works as reporters. But I guess in his mind, he thinks that the media is solely his, meaning it`s a one-way device, one-way communication. I can speak, but no one can question me. That`s not the way it works.

ANDERSON: Yes, not many things work like that. Ashleigh Banfield, Howard Bragman, good to see you. Thank you both.

BANFIELD: Thanks.

HAMMER: Oh no, guess who is back on TV? It`s Mr. Bill. Why am I talking this way? Well, because way back when, Mr. Bill, who talks like that, was hugely popular on short films on "Saturday Night Live." I mean, really, how can you go wrong with a little clay guy who is endlessly humiliated and demoralized, right?

Well, 30 years later, he still can`t catch a break in a new ad for Mastercard. Take a look at this.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

UNIDENTIFIED ACTOR: Good morning, Mr. Bill. There you go.

MR. BILL: Thanks, Mr. Hand. No.

ANNOUNCER: Coffee, $2 on debit Mastercard.

MR. BILL: I`ve always wanted (UNINTELLIGIBLE). UNIDENTIFIED ACTOR: Your personal trainer says step on that.

MR. BILL: No, wait! Oh!

ANNOUNCER: Gym membership, $59 a month.

MR. BILL: Good. There`s a bike open. What a day!

ANNOUNCER: Brief case, $120.

UNIDENTIFIED ACTOR: Time to pack up, Mr. Bill.

MR. BILL: Oh, no.

ANNOUNCER: Making it through the day -

MR. BILL: Hey, the bus is right on schedule! Oh!

ANNOUNCER: For whatever comes your way, there`s Debit Mastercard.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

HAMMER: Yes. I love it. The ad agency says the commercial is meant to tap into how people are feeling unsure about the economy. Personally, I just liked it when he got smashed onto the wind shield. Mr. Bill`s Mastercard commercial gets underway on the air on Monday.

ANDERSON: Hey, A.J., when I was at the Cannes Film Festival, everybody was talking about how Jack Black spilled the beans about the fact that Angelina Jolie is expecting twins. Well, now Jack is talking more about how that happened and you are not going to believe where he is placing the blame. That`s next on SHOWBIZ TONIGHT.

HAMMER: And now, you can watch SHOWBIZ TONIGHT any time you like. All you have to do is download our podcast which happens to be totally free. You will find the SHOWBIZ TONIGHT podcast on our Web site, that is CNN.com/ShowbizTonight. You can also download it on iTunes. Simply type "SHOWBIZ TONIGHT" into the search box. SHOWBIZ TONIGHT is coming straight back.

(COMMERCIAL BREAK)

HAMMER: Thank you, Charles. So good to have you back. And welcome back to SHOWBIZ TONIGHT, TV`s most provocative entertainment news show. I`m A.J. Hammer in New York.

And tonight, Jack Black is finally speaking out about letting Angelina Jolie`s twin secret out. He`s blaming the whole thing on his wife. Nice, Jack.

As you may remember Jack and Angelina were at the Cannes Film Festival for the premier of "Kung Fu Panda," and Jack just let it slip that Brad and Angie were expecting twins.

Now, the tabloids have been reporting that for a while, but it hadn`t been confirmed. Well, on the "Today" show, Meredith Vieira said the slip was understandable, and Jack explained how it all went down. Watch this.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

MEREDITH VIEIRA, CO-HOST, THE "TODAY" SHOW: I did feel bad for you because I actually thought that was already out.

JACK BLACK, ACTOR: You did, too?

VIEIRA: I did.

BLACK: It was my wife`s fault.

VIEIRA: Why?

BLACK: My wife, Tanya, told me - she said, "Oh," like it was common knowledge - "Yes, Angelina is having twins." Because my wife is a triplet and she was interested. And I was like, "Oh, OK. Good to know." And I filed it away for something to talk about later and that`s Angelina. And then we were on TV and I was like, "So it`s going to be like Brady Bunch with your twins that are coming." And then she was like, "I wasn`t going to say that." I was like the bean spiller.

VIEIRA: Was she - was it OK afterwards?

BLACK: Yes. She was actually relieved. She wanted to spill the beans and didn`t know how to, and I did it for her.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

HAMMER: Yes. And you`ve seen how it worked out. And you can hear the voices of Jack Black and Angelina Jolie in the animated "Kung Fu Panda." It`s in theaters on Friday.

ANDERSON: We`ve been asking to you vote on our SHOWBIZ TONIGHT question of the day. It is this - "Hulk Hogan`s Son: Does he deserve to be release from jail early?" So far the votes, super one-sided. Only six percent of you say yes, 94 percent of you say no.

We are getting a tremendous amount of E-mails on this topic and here are a few of them.

Megan from North Dakota, writes, he is still a kid who is facing eight months of being completely alone and he`s scared."

James from Colorado writes, "I suggest that Hulk Hogan`s son do some community service at the county morgue to see what happens to accident victims when they drive irresponsibly."

HAMMER: I say give him a couple of extra months for what we heard on those tapes. That is it for SHOWBIZ TONIGHT. I`m A.J. Hammer in New York.

ANDERSON: I`m Brooke Anderson in Hollywood. Hey remember, you can always catch SHOWBIZ TONIGHT on the 11:00s - 11:00 p.m. Eastern, 11:00 p.m. Pacific, and in the morning, at 11:00 a.m. Eastern. The latest from "CNN HEADLINE NEWS" is next. Take care.
