HAMMER: TV`s most provocative entertainment news show starts right no.

On SHOWBIZ TONIGHT, voice mail rage caught on tape. Tonight, Charlie Sheen`s war with Denise Richards explodes following the release of vile voice mail messages he left for Denise.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

JO PIAZZA, "NEW YORK DAILY NEWS": Of course she was going to save these messages. I don`t know what Charlie was thinking.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

HAMMER: Tonight, the disgusting voice mail racial insult that has Charlie scrambling to apologize. Plus, why do stars say the dumbest, most embarrassing things when they know they`re being recorded. Tonight, SHOWBIZ TONIGHT with star rants caught on tape.

Plus, the Hogan family scandal. What about Brooke? The bizarre place that Brooke is begging for work. Tonight, SHOWBIZ TONIGHT with Brooke Hogan`s desperate plea.

(MUSIC)

HAMMER: Hello. I`m A.J. Hammer, broadcasting tonight and every night from New York City.

ANDERSON: Hi there, everyone. I`m Brooke Anderson coming to you from Hollywood. And tonight Britney`s baby sister has a baby. Seventeen-year- old Jamie Lynn Spears gave birth today, and SHOWBIZ TONIGHT is bringing you the late-breaking details, including where Britney was and what this means for Jamie Lynn and the troubled Spears family. That`s coming up.

HAMMER: But first voice mail rage. Tonight, a startling just vile voice mail from Charlie Sheen to his now ex-wife Denise Richards has just surfaced. Actually, now that I think about it, the word "vile" doesn`t even begin to describe what Charlie said, not to mention a racial insult using the N-word tossed in for good measure. So SHOWBIZ TONIGHT can tell you that Charlie now officially becomes a card-carrying member of the voicemail rage club. Stars who don`t know how to shut up when they hear the words, "Please leave your message at the beep." SHOWBIZ TONIGHT with the latest developments making news right now.

(BEGIN VIDEOTAPE)

(voice over): Charlie Sheen and Denise Richards have now taken their particular brand of divorce dysfunction to a serious new low.

PIAZZA: Another case of classic Charlie Sheen foot-in-mouth syndrome.

HAMMER: SHOWBIZ TONIGHT can tell you a nasty old voice mail message Charlie Sheen left for his ex-wife Denise Richards is once again showing people how bitter these two former lovebirds have become.

PIAZZA: The messages were left in August 2005, which was right around the time that Denise had filed for divorce from Charlie. They`re just crazy rants. It`s Charlie going off on Denise for not returning his phone calls.

HAMMER: And this offensive voicemail tirade was sponsored by the letters F, C, and N.

In it, he says to his ex, quote, "You`re a (EXPLETIVE DELETED) liar. So, you know what it`s like, (EXPLETIVE DELETED) you. OK, I hope you rot in (EXPLETIVE DELETED) hell. You`re a piece of (EXPLETIVE DELETED), (EXPLETIVE DELETED) liar and I hope you rot in (EXPLETIVE DELETED) hell."

He then says, quote, "I hope I never (EXPLETIVE DELETED) talk to you again, you (EXPLETIVE DELETED) (EXPLETIVE DELETED)."

And he finishes it with, quote, "(EXPLETIVE DELETED) you. You`re a coward and a liar and a (EXPLETIVE DELETED) (EXPLETIVE DELETED)."

Yes, he used that N-word.

PIAZZA: Charlie has the ability, in 30 seconds, to string together the most insulting profanities that he could possibly utter.

HAMMER: If you wanted to hear the audio of Sheen`s voice mail, you had to be quick with your mouse because minutes after the Web site "Celeb.TV" posted the voicemail, they pulled it off their site faster than Sheen`s flop, "Men at Work" was pulled out of theaters.

CHARLIE SHEEN, ACTOR: You completely are hopeless.

HAMMER: In a new written message to SHOWBIZ TONIGHT, Sheen says of his old rant, quote, "I deeply apologize by my choice of words to all I have obviously offended, especially to Tony Todd an African-American who was my best man at my first two weddings."

Charlie Sheen is just the latest high-profile person to suffer terror of the tape. Words come back to haunt you.

(SCREAM)

Multiple people in the current Hulk Hogan saga have suffered the terror of the tape.

We have Nick Hogan in jail having his conversations recorded, and now we have these audiotapes of threatening messages being left to the Hogan family.

UNIDENTIFIED MALE CALLER: Your kid`s going to bleed. Your little (EXPLETIVE DELETED) son is going to bleed slow.

KATIE DARYL, TMZ.TV: If there`s one thing we`ve learned from the Hogan`s tape at this point is never say something that might come back and bite you in the butt.

MATTHEW PERRY, ACTOR: Monica, I think you`ve gone over to the bad place.

HAMMER: It`s a lesson we learned on "Friends" when Monica left an embarrassing voice mail on her ex-boyfriend`s machine.

COURTENEY COX, ACTRESS: I did something crazy tonight. Maybe I`m just getting my period or something. I don`t know.

HAMMER: Only to learn she accidentally re-recorded her ex`s outgoing message.

COX: Maybe I`m getting my period or something. I don`t know.

No!

HAMMER: And even though countless fictional characters and political figures have been tripped up by the terror of the tape, big stars still appear incapable of getting the message.

PIAZZA: You would think that celebrities, when they know that they`re in the spotlight, would be a little more careful, because this stuff is going to get out there.

HAMMER: Alec Baldwin was embarrassed last year when a voicemail in which he called his then-11-year-old daughter a thoughtless little pig went public.

DUANE "DOG" CHAPMAN, "DOG, THE BOUNTY HUNTER": It`s the bank robber, OK?

HAMMER: And Duane "Dog" Chapman`s reality show, "Dog, The Bounty Hunter," was temporarily pulled off the air after a voicemail surfaced of him using the N-word to refer to his son`s girlfriend.

PIAZZA: He used the N-word I think eight times in that voice mail message and then was shocked that people were outraged.

HAMMER: It appears that if you have a dirty mouth and/or you simply can`t keep your mouth shut, nothing can save you from the terror of the tape.

UNIDENTIFIED ACTRESS: Get away from me! Ow!

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: She`s just kidding.

HAMMER: Except maybe some resourceful friends.

(END VIDEOTAPE)

HAMMER: Sheen, Hogan, Baldwin - it is amazing how many celebrities just don`t know how to watch their words when the tape is rolling. You`ll definitely want to join us in just a few minutes when our expert panel tries to understand these stars caught on tape.

Now we want to hear from you for our SHOWBIZ TONIGHT question of the day. Here it is - "Charlie and Denise: Whose side are you on?" You can vote at CNN.com/ShowbizTonight. You can also E-mail us at showbiztonight@cnn.com.

ANDERSON: Tonight, it`s the birth heard around the world. Britney Spears teenage sister had her baby today at the young age of 17. SHOWBIZ TONIGHT can tell you that Jamie Lynn Spears gave birth to a baby girl at a hospital near her home in Louisiana. "People.com" reports they named the little one Maddie Briann.

SHOWBIZ TONIGHT can also tell you big sis Britney flew in from Hollywood to be there for the big day. Also there was Jamie, Lynne, her parents, and big brother. But here`s the question, has Jamie Lynn learned from her big sister Britney`s troubles in the motherhood department?

With me tonight in Hollywood, executive news editor for "E!" Ken Baker. Also in Hollywood, Laura Saltman, correspondent for "AccessHollywood.com."

Ken, Laura, great to see you. And here we are It looks like this may be another challenge for the much-troubled Spears family. Jamie Lynn, as we know, the star of Nickelodeon`s "Zoey 101," her career sidetracked by this unexpected pregnancy. Ken Baker, given how many troubles Britney has had as a mother, are you concerned?

BAKER: Well, you know, there would be concern anytime there`s an unwanted teen pregnancy. She got pregnant at 16, and of course, her career was really taking off. But look what happened to "Zoey 101," the ratings doubled after the announcement that she was pregnant. Now, she`s clearly taking a break. If there`s anything to be concerned about, I don`t see anything yet. I`ll tell you why.

This morning the scene at that hospital in Mississippi was really heartwarming to see. You saw a family reunion. There was the mom, the dad, Britney, Britney`s brother, Casey Aldridge, her fiance, all there together. Ad this was a family that was very fractured and as dysfunctional as they come, all coming together.

And I`m also told that Casey Aldridge`s family - they have some money. There`s some security there. Casey and Jamie Lynn have already bought a house in Mississippi where they could raise the child. So I don`t see a lot of cause for alarm. This is something that`s being handled responsibly and as a family.

ANDERSON: Well, speaking of her fiance, Casey Aldridge, 19 years old, Laura Saltman, do you agree that it is a good idea for them to get married, because some would say, hey, maybe they should take a step back, take some time and realize they are two kids who now have a kid?

LAURA SALTMAN, CORRESPONDENT, "ACCESSHOLLYWOOD.COM": Absolutely. It`s a hard question to answer, because I just don`t know that with kids that are that age if they should be getting married. But on the opposite side, Jamie really is kind of older. You know, when you grow up in this business and you start out as a young teen on a TV show and you`re constantly surrounded by adults, it`s just so much easier to relate to someone who is older. And I think this could be a really good thing for her.

ANDERSON: Well, as I mentioned, and Ken, Britney was there to support her sister, and as we know, Britney`s own children, her two kids, were taken away from her because of all of her troubles. Ken, is there anything that Jamie Lynn can learn from Britney`s hardships?

BAKER: Well, it might be to be very careful about this marriage, because if you look at what her sister did marrying K-Fed, didn`t work out too well. Maybe she should have a longer engagement. And I would think that maybe Jamie Lynn should take it slow.

I know she`s engaged, but she must take it slow, make sure that this is the right man, this is the right situation because that was the beginning of a lot of unraveling for Britney.

When that marriage started falling apart, a lot of her life did personally and professionally. But she does seem to have been learning from her sister. The very fact that she had that baby this morning in a tiny 120-bed hospital in Mississippi and not Cedars-Sinai in the middle of Hollywood with paparazzi all over the place is a sign that she has learned something.

SALTMAN: Well, the paparazzi were all over the place, though.

ANDERSON: Speaking of that - go ahead, Laura.

SALTMAN: The paparazzi were actually all over the place at that hospital. They find them everywhere. And also, they`re completely different people, Jamie Lynn and Britney. I mean as anybody who has a sister knows, you`re very different in a lot of ways. So I just think that they are completely different people, and I think Jamie Lynn is actually more mature than Britney.

ANDERSON: Well, you know, a baby is a tremendous responsibility. Hopefully, Jamie Lynn is ready for it. If not, I`m sure she`ll learn as she goes along. This could be a positive step for Britney in a way, too, focusing on family again.

Ken Baker, Laura Saltman, we will leave it there for now. Thank you both for your insights.

Hey, A.J., you know, it seems like every day there is a new twist in the Hogan family drama.

HAMMER: Yes, Brooke, no question about that. Obviously, one of the biggest bombshells so far are those jailhouse tapes.

(BEGIN AUDIO CLIP)

NICK HOGAN, HULK HOGAN`S SON: Will you work on that reality deal?

HULK HOGAN, WRESTLER AND REALITY SHOW STAR: Yes.

N. HOGAN: For me, get that thing lined up so the minute I walk out of wherever I walk out of, it`s there, boom.

(END AUDIO CLIP)

ANDERSON: We talk about Hulk and Nick all the time, but guess who actually has a reality show coming up? It`s Brooke, and you`re never going to believe where Brooke is now begging for more work. We`re looking into what all this family drama means for Brooke, straight ahead.

HAMMER: Also, David Beckham. He is the new face of the new Armani underwear campaign, although I can tell you the lovely ladies of the SHOWBIZ TONIGHT were not looking at his face when this photo got passed around at our morning meeting today. We`re going to show you much more, coming up.

ANDERSON: And continuing with the underwear theme, we`ve got the lady who says she got hurt by a thong in her eye. She`s taking Victoria`s Secret to court over it, and she is speaking out. You definitely want to hear what she`s got to say, coming up.

(COMMERCIAL BREAK)

(VIDEO CLIP OF BROOKE HOGAN`S MUSIC VIDEO)

HAMMER: Hey, you remember that, don`t you? Brooke Hogan with a hit song a couple of years ago. But now, it`s Brooke for hire? Yes, Hulk Hogan`s daughter could be getting desperate and she could turn up at a bar mitzvah near you.

Welcome back to SHOWBIZ TONIGHT. This is TV`s most provocative entertainment news show. I`m A.J. Hammer in New York. And tonight, Hulk Hogan`s daughter, Brooke, is looking for a new gig. Yes, SHOWBIZ TONIGHT can tell you Brooke has actually posted an ad on her MySpace page looking for work as a performer.

Now, the "Hogan for Hire" ad comes just weeks before the debut of her other gig, "Brooke knows Best," that`s a spin-off of her dad`s reality show. And all of this while her family just implodes around her since her brother went to jail for a very serious car crash. I`ve got to wonder, is this just another sign of how badly the Hogans have been hurt?

Joining me tonight in New York, it`s Maggie Gallant, the founder of Spotlight Communications. Also in New York tonight, Marvette Britto, founder of the Britto Agency.

All right. Maggie, Marvette, I want to show you the ad that Brooke Hogan posted on her MySpace page. Let me read it to you, shall I? "Brooke is now accepting offers for live tour dates, live performances and appearances. Call now to book a date. Brooke`s schedule fills up quickly and she doesn`t want to let anyone down!"

Now, it seems to me that Brooke Hogan has been the only Hogan to keep herself out of this whole monumental Hogan drama. So Maggie, if Brooke were your client, would you think this was actually a good move to get herself hired out? Or stay with me on this, does it look like a desperate attempt to capitalize on the Hogan name for better or worse in this case?

MAGGIE GALLANT, FOUNDER SPOTLIGHT COMMUNICATIONS: Well, you just said it best, A.J. Desperate is exactly what it is. I mean she has successfully been the Hogan in the Hogan family that hasn`t had the spotlight of disgust that everybody in America seems to be feeling at the moment. However, it`s all about timing. It`s about time and place when it comes to success, and it was - it`s not the right time, and MySpace is not the right place.

HAMMER: Well, let`s keep in mind, however, not be too cynical here, Brooke had a big - or minor hit song a couple of years ago. A lot of people are using their MySpace pages, promoting all sorts of things. What do you think, Marvette? Is Brooke being savvy or is she just clueless?

MARVETTE BRITTO, FOUNDER, BRITTO AGENCY: I think she`s being a little of both. She`s using the platform because she has the nation`s attention. But she should really use that same platform to bring attention to the victim. That`s really what this is about. And I think Brooke will truly emerge or could emerge as the PR queen of this whole situation because she would be the one that truly knows best if she`s able to get her family to focus on the victim and not be selfish and capitalize off of it individually.

HAMMER: Marvette, let me make sure I got that right. You said Brooke Hogan has the nation`s attention. That scares me.

BRITTO: No.

HAMMER: All of this -

(CROSS TALK)

BRITTO: The Hogans - we`re talking about it five, six days in a row.

HAMMER: Yes, I know. I`m just kidding. All of that said, you know, maybe this is something that could work. Maggie, let me toss this to you, because there are a lot of people with a lot of money who are throwing their bar mitzvahs and their weddings, you know, even the occasional bris, and they`d love to have a Hogan stop by? Why not?

GALLANT: OK. The idea of her showing up at a bris really scares me.

HAMMER: All right. Well, that was my idea, so yes. I`ll toss that one aside.

GALLANT: OK, yes. Once you toss that aside, I think you`re right. The only kinds of offers she`s going to be getting are from teens all over the country asking her to show up at their prom, at birthday party. I don`t think any Grammy Award-winning producers are going to be scrolling MySpace, seeing her ad and saying, "Oh, great! Just what I was looking for. I`m so glad she posted this. I`m going to sign her up today."

HAMMER: I think it`s also a barometer of something else. And Marvette, I want to see if you agree with me on this. I see it kind of as a sign of how the Hogan family has been so badly damaged that Brooke is resorting to asking to be hired on MySpace? You see it that way?

BRITTO: Absolutely. And you know, 15 minutes of fame just turned into an eternity. And for her to go to MySpace and she says specifically, "Hurry, I may not be available when you call." It`s really, really selfish of her to again use the platform that she could be using in such a positive way for her own selfish reasons.

HAMMER: Yes, to that end, Brooke`s brother Nick in jail for the crash that seriously injured John Graziano. Brooke has remained pretty quiet during the ordeal as I`ve mentioned.

But in an exclusive interview with SHOWBIZ TONIGHT, their close Hogan family friend, Bubba the Love Sponge, gave his insight on what he thinks is best for the Hogans right now. Let`s roll that.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

BUBBA, THE LOVE SPONGE, HOGAN FAMILY FRIEND: We should do our time in jail as Nick Hogan. We should shut our mouths as a Graziano. We should keep quiet as a Hogan, and we should worry about what happens to John Graziano.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

HAMMER: I am right there with Bubba. What about you, Maggie? Shouldn`t that also apply to Brooke? Every one of the Hogans needs to lay as low as possible right now until this whole storm has passed?

GALLANT: I completely agree with the Sponge. I couldn`t have said it better myself. But I also think it`s a symptom of the fact that fame can be so addicting that you lose sight of what`s actually socially appropriate. This is not that case.

I completely agree with the sponge. I think it`s a symptom of the fact that fame can be so addicting that you

HAMMER: I will never forget you said, "I completely agree with the Sponge." Maggie Gallant, Marvette Britto, thank you both for being here tonight.

ANDERSON: A.J., you know, every once in a while we get to tell a story that I know will touch people everywhere.

HAMMER: Yes. I have to imagine you`re talking about the thong lady here, right, Brooke? Right, huh?

ANDERSON: Indeed I am. Well it is -

HAMMER: Brooke, it is after all a classic story. This lady says she got hurt by a thong - in her eye. She is speaking out. Man, I`ve got to tell you, this is priceless and it is coming up.

ANDERSON: Now, for some underwear that`s easy on the eyes. Check out David Beckham. I`ll be quiet for a moment. Let`s just look, shall we? OK. We`ll have more of that, coming up. Also, this.

(BEGIN AUDIO CLIP)

N. HOGAN: Will you work on that reality deal?

H. HOGAN: Yes

N. HOGAN: For me. And get that thing lined up so the minute I walk out of wherever I walk out of, it`s there, boom.

(END AUDIO CLIP)

HAMMER: All right. Hulk Hogan and his son Nick knew those jailhouse conversations were being recorded. I wonder why they would talk like that. Well, guess what? They are not alone. You remember Alec Baldwin`s rant to his daughter? And of course, Charlie Sheen`s latest vicious voicemails that we`ve heard to Denise Richards. Well, coming up, the voice mail rants of the stars who, you know, should have hung up before they got so fired up.

(COMMERCIAL BREAK)

HAMMER: Welcome back to SHOWBIZ TONIGHT. I`m A.J. Hammer. Here are some more stories that are new right now. And tonight, we have a special hot body edition.

MALE CREW: Oh, yes. What?

HAMMER: Well, let`s start with these pictures they`re apparently so excited about. They were the hit of the SHOWBIZ TONIGHT morning meeting, an underwear clad David Beckham. Beckham is the face of the new Armani underwear campaign, not that a lot of people are looking at his face. Get this, there is this giant mural at Macy`s in San Francisco, you know, that is going to be stopping traffic.

"Heroes" star Ali Larter is also bearing almost all in "Allure" magazine. In the interview, she talks about some rough times with her own body image including a photo shoot where they actually duct taped her thighs. Wow. Well, she talks about another time during a movie when producers asked her manager to tell her to lose weight, and she hysterically cried from embarrassment. Ali says that she`s still insecure sometimes, but her fiance says it`s just, quote, "hot girl syndrome." For more with Ali Larter, pick up a copy of "Allure" magazine. You`ll find it on newsstands on June 24th.

ANDERSON: Hey, A.J., the Hogan family drama just keeps getting more and more tragic.

HAMMER: No question about that, Brooke. Every day, something happens that leaves us shaking our heads. But of course, you know, one of the biggest bombshells so far, those taped jailhouse conversations.

ANDERSON: Yes.

(BEGIN AUDIO CLIP)

N. HOGAN: Will you work on that reality deal?

H. HOGAN: Yes.

N. HOGAN: For me, get that thing lined up so the minute I walk out of wherever I walk out of it`s there, boom.

(END AUDIO CLIP)

ANDERSON: Hulk and Nick knew they were being recorded. So, I`ve got to wonder why they would talk like that? Guess what? They`re not alone. Remember Alec Baldwin`s rant to his daughter? How about Charlie Sheen`s vicious voicemails to Denise Richards? Coming up, voicemail rants of the stars.

HAMMER: Also a Pamela Anderson shocker. Her mom says she wishes her daughter was a lesbian. Yes, that`s coming up.

ANDERSON: And Pam`s ex, Kid Rock, has a shocker of his own. Coming up, why Kid says you should steal cars, computers, gas, iPods. Pretty much everything. I saw this and you don`t want to miss this, coming up.

HAMMER: You can always stay on top of the most provocative entertainment news. Get our daily SHOWBIZ TONIGHT newsletter by heading to CNN.com/ShowbizTonight and click on that "sign up for newsletter" link.

N. HOGAN: Will you work on that reality deal?

H. HOGAN: Yes.

N. HOGAN: For me, get that thing lined up so the minute I walk out of wherever I walk out of, it`s there, boom.

(END AUDIO CLIP)

HAMMER: On SHOWBIZ TONIGHT, caught on tape. The Hogans jailhouse conversation. Alec Baldwin`s rant to his daughter. Charlie Sheen`s vicious voicemail to Denise Richards. All caught on tape. Tonight SHOWBIZ TONIGHT with the most unforgettable rants ever left on voicemail.

A Pamela Anderson shocker. Pam says her mom wishes Pam was a lesbian. Why would she say that? Tonight, SHOWBIZ TONIGHT with a Pamela bombshell.

(MUSIC)

HAMMER: Welcome back to SHOWBIZ TONIGHT. It`s 30 minutes past the hour. I`m A.J. Hammer, broadcasting tonight and every night from New York City.

ANDERSON: And I`m Brooke Anderson, coming to you tonight from Hollywood. This is TV`s most provocative entertainment news show.

HAMMER: I hope you`re ready. Tonight, caught on tape. Hollywood`s biggest celebrities are saying the stupidest things on tape. And yes, they`re getting caught.

Well, first up, Charlie Sheen`s voicemail rage to his ex-wife Denise Richards that has just surfaced. In the voicemail message, Charlie calls Denise all kinds of names. He even uses the N-word.

Then of course, there`s Hulk Hogan caught on a taped jailhouse call with his son Nick, slamming the victim in his son`s car crash.

And who could possibly forget Alec Baldwin`s voicemail rant to his young daughter calling her, "a rude, thoughtless little pig." Why don`t they just shut up when they hear, "Please leave a message after the beep?"

Joining me tonight from Miami is Steve Santagati, author of the book, "The Manual" which is now out in paperback. In New York tonight, Rob Chilton, feature director for "OK" magazine. Also in New York is Maggie Gallant, the founder of Spotlight Communications.

Gang, it has just surfaced so we`ve got to start with this vile voicemail rant that Charlie Sheen left for his ex-wife Denise Richards. Sheen, as we all know, is the star of the hit TV sitcom "Two and a Half Men." And he was caught on tape leaving this nasty, profanity-laced voicemail where he even had the audacity to use the N-word. Now, this thing is just so vile we decided to share just a chunk of it with you.

I will read to you what it says, quote, "You`re a (EXPLETIVE DELETED) liar. I hope you rot in (EXPLETIVE DELETED) hell. You`re a coward and a liar and a (EXPLETIVE DELETED) (EXPLETIVE DELETED), all right. So (EXPLETIVE DELETED)."

Gross. Maggie, I`m going to start with you. I guess I`m just having a hard time understanding why Charlie would ever take the chance to leave such a voicemail like I just said a moment ago when he heard, "Please leave a message?" Why didn`t he just hang up?

GALLANT: A.J., I`m not going to excuse this kind of language by any means, but if you show me one person that has a cell phone, I`ll show you that same person that`s left a message they`re extremely embarrassed about. Celebrities, we tend to forget, are people too. They have moments of rage. Clearly, this was not a thought-out message. It doesn`t even make any sense.

HAMMER: No, it doesn`t make any sense. Now, Steve, you`re saying, "All right." I`ve never done that. I`m pretty careful when I know I`m being recorded.

STEVE SANTAGATI, "ASKSTEVESANTAGATI.COM": Right. Well, there`s a couple things. Maggie is 100 percent right here because if we taped all of us, people watching, everybody in the studio right now, on a daily basis, granted - chances are some of us would slip up and say things we didn`t really mean.

The other first phone call of all time, Alexander Graham Bell said, "Watson, come quickly." That`s recorded. Richard Nixon was recorded at Watergate. I mean, come on, people. We`ve got it figured. Don`t say anything. Just have a Mafia approach and keep your mouth shut. Let`s just - face to face with no one is around.

HAMMER: Yes. I mean if you know you`re being recorded, and when the voicemail goes, beep, you pretty much know this is being recorded. And right after this voice mail surfaced, I should point out Charlie issued an apology pointing out the voicemail that he left is three years old.

SANTAGATI: Right.

HAMMER: And here`s what told SHOWBIZ TONIGHT. Let me read this quote, "I deeply apologize by my choice of words to all I have obviously offended; especially to Tony Todd, an African-American who was my best man at my first two weddings. And for the record, my children did not show today for a custodial visit without explanation. So three and one-half years later, the reasons that caused the anger and frustration displayed on that voicemail continue to be manifested on a daily basis."

Rob Chilton, over to you. The voice mail obviously is old, as Charlie pointed out, but the wounds still fresh. No matter what Charlie is saying, though, is there anything that can really excuse this, or the fact that he got caught? `

ROB CHILTON, FEATURE DIRECTOR, "OK" MAGAZINE: There is no excuse. I mean first of all, I find it interesting that the voicemail was leaked just the week after Charlie got married.

HAMMER: Yes.

CHILTON: So I wonder if it had anything to do with it. But aside from that, whether they like it or not, celebrities are role models and people look up to them, and so that means they have to live whiter than white lives. You have to, you know, be careful about this kind of things. As you say, you know, when you hear the beep, just you have to stop, count to 10 and think, and say, OK, and put the phone down and calm down and relax. Because these things do get out and it can kill your career.

HAMMER: Yes. As we`re hearing, you know, when rage sets in, people don`t count to 10, they don`t take a deep breath, and it gets caught on tape. And then we have the honor of hearing it.

Well, let`s move on to our next caught on tape victim. Hulk Hogan and his son Nick Hogan, they were caught on tape trashing the victim in Nick Hogan`s car crash that of course led Nick to being sentenced to eight months in jail. This still blows me away. Roll it, Charles.

(BEGIN AUDIO CLIP)

H. HOGAN: Well, I don`t know what type of person what John was or what he did to get himself in this situation. I know he was pretty aggressive and used to yell at people and used to do stuff and - but for some reason, man, god laid some heavy (EXPLETIVE DELETED) on that kid, man. I don`t know what he was into.

N. HOGAN: John was a negative person.

H. HOGAN: He was what?

N. HOGAN: He was a negative person.

(END AUDIO CLIP)

HAMMER: All right. So here you go. It shocked me because of the content of the recording, but it also shocks me because it is yet another example somebody who is caught on tape saying some stupid stuff knowing they`re being recorded. In fact, if you`re in jail and you`re on the phone, a recording pops up that reminds inmates, "Your call is being recorded."

Maggie, is there anything that you can think of that explains what I just see as stupidity?

GALLANT: It`s just another example of this family being so blinded by their obsession with fame that their conscience and logic - they`re not setting in. And they`re completely ignoring all of these obvious signs. Then, a conversation like this is doomed for failure.

HAMMER: Well, the one I still can`t get past, truly shocking, caught on phone tape in Hollywood, we have the vile voicemail rant that Alec Baldwin left for his young daughter, Ireland. This happened in April 2007. Let me read to you what he said on that phone message, quote, "You are a rude, thoughtless little pig. I don`t give a damn that you`re 12 years old, or 11 years old, or that you`re a child. You have humiliated me for the last time with this phone."

Steve Santagati, actually, that wasn`t the last time he was humiliated. He was humiliated again when the call got out. You know, a tape lives forever, so can Alec ever live this down? It`s going to be out there forever?

SANTAGATI: Yes. Let me tell you something, A.J. When I first heard that, and I might be part of a minority, and I don`t know about you, but my parents said a lot worse things to me. And I`m sure there`s a parent - parents out there that say a lot worse things to their kids. So that particular thing, I don`t think it was really that bad. People yell at their kids all the time. It depends what their rapport was prior to this at home. He`s Irish; I`m Italian. We yell and talk differently than normal people. It`s normal in our household.

But to answer your question, yes, it will eventually go away. There are more important things to do. He learned a valuable lesson. I would love to hear some of the stuff he left for Kim.

HAMMER: Yes. I don`t know why none of that ever got out.

SANTAGATI: Yes, exactly.

HAMMER: But, yes. I think it`s a valuable lesson, and Rob said this earlier, you know, celebrities are held to a higher standard ...

SANTAGATI: Not anymore.

HAMMER: ... and you should have the common sense, though, before you are leaving something caught on tape. The whole point of this, to just shut up or take a deep breath. Now, right after Alec left his voice mail rant or after that got out, he went on "The View" so he could explain why he left the voicemail to his young daughter, Ireland. Roll that, Charles.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

ALEC BALDWIN, ACTOR: I`ve learned that to be angry - there`s nothing wrong with being angry.

BARBARA WALTERS, CO-HOST, "THE VIEW": You didn`t mean to say it to a child.

BALDWIN: There`s nothing wrong with being frustrated or angry about something. It`s the way you do it, and as people often do in this world, I took it out on the wrong person.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

HAMMER: Yes. So it just keeps coming back around to this. And Rob, I think you agree with me. The moral of the story is whether you`re a star or you`re anybody, think before you speak after the beep.

CHILTON: Absolutely right. I mean, I read an interview with Alec Baldwin a couple weeks ago. It`s very interesting. He said - he was talking about the "pig" voicemail. And he said, "You know, 365 days of my life that year, I had a three-second moment of madness." And he said, "Who hasn`t had that kind of madness?"

So you know, I kind of agree with him, but it just sounds so bad during cold light of day, when you hear that voice mail. You can hear it on Internet sites now. It just sounds so bad. And it doesn`t do his career any good at all. It hurts his image.

HAMMER: The beep goes off. Maggie Gallant, Rob Chilton, Steve Santagati, I appreciate you all being with us tonight. Steve, buddy, is that a new t- shirt you got on there? Can we see that, Charles?

SANTAGATI: Yes. But the only way you can really see what`s on the other side of this, A.J., is by going to the new t-shirt Web site I started called "BadBoysFinishFirst.com" which went live today.

HAMMER: Congratulations.

SANTAGATI: You`d better check it out. Too outrageous for TV.

HAMMER: "BadBoysFinishFirst.com." Thanks a lot, guys.

SANTAGATI: Thanks, A.J.

HAMMER: The nasty Charlie Sheen-Denise Richards battle is exactly what we`re asking you about in the SHOWBIZ TONIGHT question of the day. Here`s what we want you to vote on - "Charlie and Denise: Whose side are you on?" You can vote at CNN.com/ShowbizTonight, or e-mail showbiztonight@cnn.com.

ANDERSON: You know, A.J. when I think about it, it`s hard to say which is a bigger train wreck to watch, Charlie and Denise or Pam Anderson and Tommy Lee?

HAMMER: You know, Brook, I actually thought it was a joke when we first heard the news that Pam and her hubby, ex-hubby at that time, Tommy Lee, are getting back together.

And now get this, Pamela Anderson is telling the world why her own mother says she wishes that Pam was gay. Why would Pam`s mama say that? I`ll let you know in just a couple of minutes.

And then, there`s Kid Rock who Pam was married to for, well, that nanosecond. Kid Rock has just taped an outrageous video plea to everyone to steal stuff - steal lots of stuff. Has the Kid gone cuckoo? You have got to watch this.

ANDERSON: Also in the world of the bizarre, the woman suing Victoria`s Secret because she claims she was injured by a thong. Now, for the very first time, the thong lady is explaining herself on television. SHOWBIZ TONIGHT brings you the thong show next.

HAMMER: Thong, thong, thong, thong, thong.

Remember, you can watch SHOWBIZ TONIGHT video any time. New stuff going up all the time at the Web site, CNN.com/ShowbizTonight. And among the videos now playing "Daddy Report Card." From Britney`s father to Lindsay`s dad, who`s the best daddy dearest?

(COMMERCIAL BREAK)

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

ANDERSON: Tommy - we`re like a family. We`re like a little bit of a dysfunctional family, I guess. But ...

KING: So you still love him?

ANDERSON: He loves his kids...

KING: And?

ANDERSON: And we love each other and...

KING: So why can`t you be together?

ANDERSON: And - well, there`s, who knows why? There`s lots of complicated reasons, right?

(END VIDEO CLIP)

HAMMER: That was a very coy Pamela Anderson telling Larry King that her relationship with ex-husband Tommy Lee is dysfunctional. Well now, they`re back together. Pam`s mother is saying she wishes Pam was gay. What?

Welcome back to SHOWBIZ TONIGHT. This is TV`s most provocative entertainment news show. I`m A.J. Hammer in New York.

And tonight, we have for you two stories about love and a killer thong. Could it be that Pam Anderson`s own mother has out-shocked her? Pam revealing that her mother told her she wishes Pam was gay. Now, why would she say such a thing?

Also tonight, the thong show. For the very first time the woman suing Victoria`s Secret because she claims she was badly injured by her thong is speaking out (UNINTELLIGIBLE).

With me tonight in Hollywood, "Extra" correspondent Carlos Diaz. Also tonight, in Hollywood, comedienne Jodi Miller.

All right. Jodi, Carlos, we`ve got Pam and Tommy Lee back together again. This thing is going to work, huh? Now, since they got divorced, which is already 10 years ago, Pam`s gotten married and divorced from Kid Rock and Rick Salomon. And she gave this new interview to "Radar" magazine.

Listen to this fantastic quote, "Lately my mother`s said, `I wish you were gay considering your choice of men.`"

Hey, you know what they say, "Listen to your mama." Jodi, what do you think? Pam`s mama onto something here?

JODI MILLER, COMEDIENNE: She`s definitely onto something because I think there`s a lot of men that hope she would be gay, too. I mean what a great video that would make. I just think in Pam`s defense, you know, she`s a big advocate of PETA, and that is the ethical treatment of all animals and that includes Tommy. Come on.

HAMMER: Sure. No

MILLER: Yes.

HAMMER: That makes perfect sense. Perhaps he should be on a poster or the two of them should be on a poster together.

MILLER: Fantastic.

HAMMER: So Carlos, I think that Jodi makes a terrific point here. You know, Pam Anderson, gay - I was going to ask you if you think that would that help or hurt her marketing. I think I know what you`re going to say, but please say it for me.

CARLOS DIAZ, CORRESPONDENT, "EXTRA": You know, I think women would really be into her, because, you know, she`d be into women. I don`t know if men can get behind her having relations with other women. I mean I was just trying to imagine that right now. Give me a second. Hold on.

MILLER: Yes.

DIAZ: I`m just imagining that. What was the question? I`m sorry. What was that again? I`m kind of losing it real quick. What was that?

HAMMER: Probably not so important right now, Carlos. Maybe we`ll just move on. Now, so Pam and Tommy Lee back together, which I have to say - I`ve seen a lot, we`ve all seen a lot in this business. I kind of didn`t even see this coming. Maybe that`s my own naivete. This is how she confirmed it had to "Rolling Stone" magazine with this quote - Tommy Lee confirming it, by the way, his words, "Pamela and the kids have moved in with me. It`s awesome, man. It`s definitely working. You can tell on the kids` faces - they`re happy when we`re together. We`ve only given it a try 800 times; 801 here we go."

What do you think, Jodi? 801 - this is going to be the charm here?

MILLER: I really - you know what? I`ve heard that 805 is the magic number, so I`m going to - yes, think about four more times, you know. It`s true what they say. You can always come home after you`ve slept with everyone else in Hollywood.

HAMMER: All right. We`ll take that.

I got to move on to the attack of the thong. This is perhaps my favorite story of the week. We have a 52-year-old woman named Macrida Patterson. And she`s suing Victoria`s Secret, claiming she was injured by a thong. Now, Patterson says a metal decoration that flew off the thong hit her in the eye. Patterson went on the "Today" show, and I`ve got to say, Meredith Vieira hit the nail right on the head when she posed this question. Charles, roll it.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

MEREDITH VIEIRA, CO-HOST, THE "TODAY" SHOW: There are people, I guarantee, who are watching and they`re rolling their eyes and they`re screaming at the TV and they`re saying, "This is ridiculous. This is what is wrong with this country, that these crazy lawsuits come into play." So how do you respond to them?

(END VIDEO CLIP)

HAMMER: Carlos Diaz, back at you. Does this story seem so unbelievable that you expect to, you know, wake up any second from your haze and say, "Boy, that was a weird dream. I was just dreaming a woman was injured in her eye by a thong?" Or do you have these dreams all the time?

DIAZ: Yes, I often dream about women in thongs, so thanks for bringing that up. I appreciate that.

HAMMER: No problem.

DIAZ: A.J., I want you to know, as I think you already know, I`m a thong expert, and I want to say right now that I don`t believe that there should be any kind of metal objects on thongs.

HAMMER: OK.

DIAZ: They`re a hazard to the woman, but mostly to guys. I really - you know, I think that - I`m rooting for her actually in this lawsuit ...

HAMMER: All right.

DIAZ: ... because to remove all metal from thongs is a good thing.

HAMMER: Perhaps we should pick a Victoria`s Secret, I`m saying. Now, we mentioned that for the very first time, thankfully, Macrida Patterson, the woman who claims she was injured by this thong is speaking out. And she`s talking about exactly how she was injured. You need to listen to what she had to say on the "Today" show.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

MACRIDA PATTERSON, WOMAN INJURED BY THONG: Meredith, I was putting on my underwear from Victoria`s Secret, and the metal popped into my eye. It happened really quickly. I was in excruciating pain. I screamed. That`s what happened.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

HAMMER: All right. Jodi, I don`t mean to doubt Macrida, if that really is her name, but does this sound a little far-fetched to you, or do you think this actually happened and caused as much damage as she says it did?

MILLER: Well, first of all, a 52-year-old should not be wearing bedazzled thongs anymore. Let`s just put that out there. Enough with that. Second of all, I can think of a couple other places that if a gem shot up, it would be more painful. So, yes, I know. It went to her eye. Wow, she should be on "America`s Got Talent."

HAMMER: Carlos sound off just a couple of seconds for a yes or no. Should 52-year-old women be wearing bedazzled thongs?

DIAZ: I`m going to throw up. That would be a no.

HAMMER: All right, Carlos. You go throw up. I will wrap it up. Carlos Diaz, Jodi Miller, I thank you both.

So let`s review. We have the thong lady, Pam Anderson - I mean are we having fun yet, kids? Well, here`s more with the Kid. Talking about Kid Rock who, of course, Pam was married to for a split second, if even that long. Kid Rock says he wants you to steal stuff - steal lots of stuff. He`s actually taped an outrageous video plea. You have got to see and hear it to believe. We`re going to play it for you, coming up next.

(COMMERCIAL BREAK)

ANDERSON: Hello there. Welcome back to SHOWBIZ TONIGHT. OK. Kid Rock`s shocking advice to kids everywhere, "Hey, kids, if you want it, steal it." That`s right. The bad boy rocker telling children, "Go ahead. Break the law."

In an interview with the BBC, Kid Rock seemed to suggest he was all for illegally downloaded music as long as people also bought tickets to his concerts. Then he released a public service announcement telling children to stick it to the rich and get whatever they can for free. Watch this.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

KID ROCK, MUSICIAN: Hey, kids. This is Kid Rock for a special announcement for you. This whole debate on downloading music illegally and stealing it, I guess you will, has just really gone way too far. I mean there`s record companies suing kids and the kids are right in saying that, you know, you can illegally download my music and steal it if you will. I`ve done very - I`m (EXPLETIVE DELETED) rich, so how can I (EXPLETIVE DELETED) about someone downloading a song or two. I really can`t.

What I would like to encourage all of you to do at this point, is - I mean it`s true. It`s just a song. You know, you take a song. You download it. Big deal, right?

Listen to this. Let`s level the playing field. Steal everything. If you need a new mp3 player or computer, you how much money Apple and Microsoft have? Go in there. Get a new laptop. Grab it and run. New iPod, steal it, bill Gates and Steve Jobs - they`re billionaires. They`re not going to miss a couple of iPods and a couple of laptops. It`s OK.

You need a new car? Toyota. Toyota is unbelievable. And it`s a foreign car company, so who cares? Go steal a Toyota. Walk on that dealership, hot wire it up and drive it off the lot. You`re going to need gas to put in that car, right? You know how much money the oil companies make? Pull up to the gas station, fill her up and take off. Don`t think about paying the bill. They`re not going to miss $30, $40 worth of gas.

A new pair of jeans. Do you know how much money Tommy Hilfiger has? He`s rich, too. Go to your favorite department store, get yourself a new sweatshirt, some new slacks and news shoes. Just put them on and casually walk out. He`s not going to miss it. He`s got plenty of money. Don`t worry about it.

Once again, this is Kid Rock saying it`s OK to illegally download music and it`s OK to steal anything else you need, too. So go get them. Remember, stay in school, and stay off the drugs.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

ANDERSON: OK. So he sounds like he`s being a bit sarcastic and is actually making an argument against illegal downloading, I think. A.J., I`m saying that.

HAMMER: Kid Rock, role model. Love the Kid. That`s it for SHOWBIZ TONIGHT. I thank you for watching. I`m A.J. Hammer in New York.

ANDERSON: And I`m Brooke Anderson in Hollywood. Remember, you can always catch SHOWBIZ TONIGHT on the 11:00s - 11:00 p.m. Eastern and Pacific, and in the morning at 11:00 a.m. Eastern. The latest from "CNN HEADLINE NEWS" is next.
