(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)
JO PIAZZA, ENTERTAINMENT JOURNALIST: Everyone is confused, because they were like, why are the cops there? What is going on? Are they arresting her?
(END VIDEO CLIP)
ANDERSON: Plus, did Lindsay really go to Jack Nicholson for help? Tonight, SHOWBIZ TONIGHT has the bizarre twists and turns in Lindsay`s arrest warrant drama.
And Anna Nicole Smith shocker. Tonight, a third person faces brand new charges of supplying drugs to Anna Nicole. And here comes the judge. You remember Judge Larry Seidlin who burst into the headlines during the hearing over where Anna Nicole would be buried?
Tonight, Judge Larry is right here in the headline-making interview you will see only on SHOWBIZ TONIGHT.
Plus, breaking news in the Chris Brown-Rihanna drama. Did they record a duet together, or not? And SHOWBIZ TONIGHT is asking, are they totally mishandling the crisis?
TV`s most provocative entertainment news show starts right now.
Hi there, everyone. I`m Brooke Anderson, coming to you tonight from Hollywood. And tonight, it`s like an eight-track flashback - two big stories from the past that just won`t go away.
Tonight, the breaking developments in the brand-new Anna Nicole Smith drug case that involves the arrest of Howard K. Stern, her former lover and lawyer.
Tonight, only SHOWBIZ TONIGHT is going one-on-one with Judge Larry Seidlin - yes, you remember him - who decided the fate of Anna Nicole`s baby. That is coming up.
But first, the Lindsay Lohan arrest warrant. Yes, she`s back. After a weekend of drama that included a late-night Lohan visit to Jack Nicholson`s house - And what was that about? - a Beverly Hills judge today dropped the arrest warrant for Lindsay. But the story doesn`t end there. Tonight, SHOWBIZ TONIGHT is revealing what led to the court hearing today and it`s making big news right now.
(BEGIN VIDEOTAPE)
ANDERSON (voice-over): A normal weekend may consist of dinner with friend, a movie, maybe a nice game of Monopoly. But here`s what Lindsay Lohan`s weekend looked like. Cops swarming outside. A warrant out for her arrest. And the strange reported meet-up with a few good men. Well, just one in particular.
JACK NICHOLSON, ACTOR (as Col. Nathan R. Jessep): You can`t handle the truth!
ANDERSON: SHOWBIZ TONIGHT tries to find the truth to Lindsay`s wild weekend. Why did the cops get involved? Is this former trouble-prone party girl heading back to jail? And the biggest head-scratcher of them all, what the heck was Lindsay Lohan doing at Jack Nicholson`s house?
PIAZZA: I have to say, if you are in trouble, go to Jack`s.
ANDERSON: SHOWBIZ TONIGHT can tell you Lindsay Lohan`s attorney was in a Beverly Hills court Monday to take care of what she calls a misunderstanding, a misunderstanding that last Friday led the court to put out a warrant for Lindsay`s arrest.
PIAZZA: An arrest warrant was issued on Friday for an apparent probation violation, that Lindsay hadn`t attended one of her mandatory alcohol classes from the 2007 DUI arrest.
UNIDENTIFIED MALE: Lindsay.
ANDERSON: A few hours after the Lohan warrant was issued, we see Lindsay Lohan in this TMZ video literally ducking questions from the paparazzi.
HARVEY LEVIN, TMZ: She literally left like a fugitive with her head down on the car seat.
ANDERSON: Lindsay Lohan wanted by the police, a potentially desperate situation for the former mean girl. And how did she handle it? Did she turn herself in? Did she go on the run? Not quite. She high-tailed it to Jack Nicholson`s house. Lohan and friends were seen entering the film legend`s home late Friday night.
PIAZZA: How did Lindsay and Jack become friends exactly? Is Jack a big fan of "Freaky Friday?"
ANDERSON: It was a real-life "Freaky Friday" for the grown-up Lindsay. But it was nothing compared to what we saw Saturday.
LEVIN: The next day, all hell broke loose.
ANDERSON: On Saturday, the day after the warrant was issued, police cars flocked to the home of Lindsay Lohan`s girlfriend, DJ Samantha Ronson. Lohan was reportedly inside while pandemonium erupted outside. We see the whole scene unfold in this "Hollywood.tv" video.
PIAZZA: Everyone was really confused, because why are the cops there? What`s going on? Are they arresting her? I was worried that Lindsay was holding Sam hostage in there, and wasn`t going to come out.
ANDERSON: SHOWBIZ TONIGHT brings you the real story. The LAPD tells us the cops weren`t out to arrest anyone. They were just there to deal with the throngs of paparazzi and media that had gathered in the neighborhood.
UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE JUDGE: Ms. Lohan has been compliant.
ANDERSON: Now, SHOWBIZ TONIGHT can tell you everything is all cleared up at a court hearing Monday that Lindsay did not attend, a judge determined that Lohan is being a good girl after all and threw out the arrest warrant.
Now, Lindsay is free to roam the streets of Hollywood again and perhaps hang out some more at Jack Nicholson`s crib.
LEVIN: I am down with anything that this dude does. And the fact that Lindsay came over when she was a wanted woman makes it even more interesting.
ANDERSON: Jack Nicholson and Lindsay Lohan, BFFs? Now, that is a Hollywood pairing we would look to see.
(END VIDEOTAPE)
ANDERSON: Lohan is about a year into the three-year probation sentence she received for her DUIs back in 2007. As for reports she and some friends dropped by Jack Nicholson`s crib Friday night, SHOWBIZ TONIGHT called Nicholson`s people to find out how or if the Oscar-winning movie legend knows the Hollywood starlet. They did not get back to us in time for air.
All right. Tonight, SHOWBIZ TONIGHT`s continuing coverage of the Chris Brown-Rihanna drama with another remarkable twist - the brand new controversy over whether the superstar couple recorded a duet. Did they or didn`t they record a song days after Chris Brown allegedly beat up Rihanna?
There was absolute outrage following reports that the two of them were recording together in a studio. Now, SHOWBIZ TONIGHT can reveal the real story.
With me tonight from Hollywood is Carlos Diaz, who is a correspondent for "Extra." And joining me from New York is Lisa Bloom, who is an anchor for the legal network "In Session."
Carlos, Lisa, the developments have been fast-moving. So I want to roll out the "SHOWBIZ News Line." Let`s take a look at that.
There were several reports last Thursday that Brown and Rihanna had recorded this duet. And a spokesperson for Brown`s producer then confirmed to CNN that a duet was, indeed, recorded. But late Friday, that same spokesperson clarified her remarks and claimed the recording was made before the alleged beating. And so far, no comment from Brown or Rihanna.
Carlos, is this just the latest damage-control disaster in this never- ending drama?
CARLOS DIAZ, CORRESPONDENT, "EXTRA": It is a damage control disaster for Rihanna because, basically, it puts Rihanna and Chris Brown in a studio together performing a duet when people heard the story when it came out last week. When they heard the alleged story, people were bashing Rihanna. I mean, they`ve been bashing Chris Brown left and right for the last month and a half. But people came down on Rihanna.
So, in essence, it didn`t really hurt Chris because he can`t be hurt anymore. He`s already got bad press on top of bad press. This was a very bad thing for Rihanna. And it is sad that it took - it had legs for an entire week.
ANDERSON: Yes. And I think the delays in responses or the lack of responses from their camps have been maddening...
DIAZ: Right.
ANDERSON: ... especially for many of their fans. And, we`re not just talking about the duet here. It`s not just the fallout from that. Chris Brown took some serious heat after waiting a whole week before making a public statement about the alleged attack. Then there was, you know, the flurry of denials from people like Paris Hilton over the text that allegedly triggered the incident. Then, after days of outrage over Brown`s nomination for a Kids Choice Award, he finally bowed out as a nominee.
Lisa, it seems there is never any action by Chris Brown`s camp until there is complete and total public outrage.
LISA BLOOM, ANCHOR, "IN SESSION": Well, you are absolutely right, Brooke. And they both mishandled this thing. I completely agree. What gets journalists going is cover-up and silence. You know, what keeps the story alive is all the speculation. What are they doing? They reconciled. They`re dating. They`re doing a duet. They`re not doing a duet. She is going to testify. She is not going to testify.
You know, Rihanna has essentially been in hiding for over a month since the incident happened. We haven`t seen her out modeling, doing appearances, doing public statements. I mean, nothing. So that is only going to fuel the fire that every day we are going to continue to talk about this.
ANDERSON: Absolutely. And I think people want to hear genuine explanations and clarifications especially from Chris Brown.
And speaking of Rihanna, she has been caught up in the fallout over her reportedly getting back together with Chris Brown. As we know, she is the face of Covergirl. And I was really blown away by this call in to the "Showbiz on Call" phone lines from Lisa in Arkansas. Listen to this.
(BEGIN AUDIO CLIP)
LISA, CALLER FROM ARKANSAS: I would just like to say that I think Covergirl should drop Rihanna as their cover girl as my daughter wears Covergirl cosmetics. First thing she says to me, if I get bruises on my face, will it cover like Rihanna`s?
So Covergirl needs to think about their image and whether they should keep her on as cover girl. Because to me, she is not somebody that should be representing makeup for teenagers and young adults.
(END AUDIO CLIP)
ANDERSON: Thank you for that call, Lisa.
You know Covergirl is standing by Rihanna. But Carlos, I am guessing that Lisa`s daughter is not the only little girl asking this same terrible question.
DIAZ: This is such a tough issue to address. Because, you know, Covergirl should not - should not drop Rihanna because she is the victim here. So they should not penalize her for being the victim. But, this caller makes an amazing point because it shows that Rihanna`s career is being adversely affected by getting back with Chris Brown...
ANDERSON: Yes.
HAMMER: ... because the adage is that he will hit her again and the young girl saying if he hits her again, will Covergirl cover the bruises. That shows that Rihanna is making a mistake by getting back with Chris Brown right now.
ANDERSON: Yes, you know, I think people want to see a strong, independent woman emerge and set an example for others that abuse is never, ever, ever OK - Lisa Bloom.
BLOOM: I vote for Brooke for Covergirl spokesperson.
ANDERSON: What`s that?
BLOOM: I vote for you for Covergirl spokesperson.
ANDERSON: Thank you, I appreciate that.
Lisa Bloom, Carlos Diaz, thank you both. We`ll leave it there.
And now, we want to hear from you. It is our "SHOWBIZ TONIGHT Question of the Day" - Chris Brown-Rihanna Drama: Are they mishandling the crisis? Vote CNN.com/ShowbizTonight. E-mail us - there`s the address, showbiztonight@cnn.com.
Coming up on SHOWBIZ TONIGHT - here comes the judge.

Stern being charged with supplying Anna Nicole with drugs? That`s coming up in the headline-making interview you will see only on SHOWBIZ TONIGHT.
Also, First Lady Michelle Obama sends women running to the gym. Coming up, how Mrs. Obama has set off a fitness craze and how you can get those toned arms too.
A model melee caught on tape. I`ll tell you what set off a stampede of wannabe-models. This is SHOWBIZ TONIGHT on HLN.
Now, the "SHOWBIZ News Ticker" - more stories from the SHOWBIZ TONIGHT newsroom making news right now.

ANDERSON: Charlie Sheen is seeing double tonight. He and his wife Brooke welcomed twin boys, Saturday night. Their names are Max and Bob. And everyone is said to be doing great. Congratulations to them.
Welcome back to SHOWBIZ TONIGHT. I`m Brooke Anderson in Hollywood.
Tonight, Michelle`s amazing arms. First Lady Michelle Obama`s toned arms have graced the covers of countless magazines and have become her unofficial trademark. Now, women everywhere are heading to the gym and asking trainers how they can get toned biceps and sleek shoulders just like Michelle`s.
Here`s CNN`s Randi Kaye for SHOWBIZ TONIGHT.
(BEGIN VIDEOTAPE)
KACY DUKE, EQUINOX FITNESS PERSONAL TRAINER: Are you ready? Pull it back. Push it. Squeeze.
RANDI KAYE, CNN CORRESPONDENT (voice-over): Equinox personal trainer, Kacy Duke, is getting some strange requests these days.
DUKE: I said what is your wish list? Well, I really would love Michelle Obama`s arms.
KAYE: The first lady`s strong, toned upper limbs are in high demand. They have been on display everywhere and women are impressed.
(on camera): What do you think of Michelle Obama`s arms?
DUKE: Her arms amazing. I mean, I want her arms.
KAYE (voice-over): Duke says demand for Mrs. Obama`s arms is off the charts. They`re natural, not overtoned and they look healthy. Twenty- five-year-old Jessie Rosen was so inspired when she noticed the first lady`s arms at the president`s congressional address she went out the next day and bought weights.
JESSIE ROSEN, INSPIRED BY MICHELLE OBAMA: I immediately thought to myself, if she has the time then, God, I have got to - I`ve got to get out there. So, you know, here she is, raising two kids, transitioning to the White House.
KAYE: Now, four times a week, Jessie lifts six-pound weights to tone her biceps and triceps at home in front of the TV.
ROSEN: I don`t envision her working out for two hours a day with a trainer in some high-class gym. I kind of envision her as this everyday woman, maybe lifting weights in front of the TV.
KAYE (on camera): A spokeswoman for Michelle Obama tells me she and the president work out in the White House gym. The first lady does a mix of cardio and weight training about four days a week. Sometimes, she works out with a personal trainer.
OBAMA: Tonight is a huge thrill.
KAYE (voice-over): Kacy Duke says you can get arms just like the first lady. Grab some light dumbbells and start with the biceps.
DUKE: There are two heads to the biceps, and you are working both heads.
KAYE (on camera): So you`re working like your inner and outer biceps.
(voice-over): She recommends 8 to 12 reps each set.
DUKE: And you don`t have to use very heavy weights.
KAYE: To get that nice shoulder definition and tighten your triceps, try this.
DUKE: You want to push it. Pull it. And kick it back.
KAYE (on camera): Oh, my.
DUKE: There you go.
KAYE: Push it. Pull it.
(voice-over): Duke says you`ve got to work it all - biceps, triceps, shoulders and deltoids.
DUKE: She has that little etching right there.
KAYE (on camera): Yes. What`s the little deltoid right there?
DUKE: Just like someone just said, just chiseled that right out. That`s what you want.
KAYE: And what is going to get that little chisel? This right here?
DUKE: It is an evolution, not a revolution, girl.
KAYE (voice-over): This hits the shoulder and deltoid.
DUKE: Up - no higher than shoulder level, squeeze.
KAYE: The key, Kacy Duke says, is to mix it up and keep the body guessing. Jessie is trying.
ROSEN: I feel like so many things are genetic, but arms we can do, you know? Arms, feel like I can handle that.
(END VIDEOTAPE)
ANDERSON: Great workout tips there. That was CNN`s Randi Kaye for SHOWBIZ TONIGHT.

(BEGIN AUDIO CLIP)
JULIE, CALLER FROM ONTARIO: I wanted to talk about the octomom. She took on more than she can handle, but these kids are here now and they need their mother. Yes, she is going to need some help. But I believe that if - with the proper help, she could do a good job with these children.
(END AUDIO CLIP)
ANDERSON: Thank you for that, Julie.
We`ve also been getting calls about Jennifer Aniston and John Mayer breaking up. We heard from Sarah calling in to "Showbiz on Call."
(BEGIN AUDIO CLIP)
SARAH, CALLER: I don`t know if Jen and John were just acting for publicity purposes. But I do think Jen will do anything to stay in the spotlight because she is very needy and narcissistic. And some of us are really tired of all this drama with her.
(END AUDIO CLIP)

Did you see this? "Saturday Night Live" did a hilarious sketch making fun of "The View." Take a look at this.
(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)
UNIDENTIFIED ACTRESS: Recently, Rush Limbaugh caused quite a stir when he said he hopes that President Barack Obama would fail.
UNIDENTIFIED ACTOR : That`s ridiculous. Who is Rush Limbaugh?
UNIDENTIFIED ACTRESS: You don`t know who Rush Limbaugh is, the voice of the conservative movement?
FRED ARMISEN, ACTOR: You know, I swear to God the only way I can have a movement is with a dump-truck full of Benefiber. So what? Who cares?
UNIDENTIFIED ACTRESS: Why is everyone giving Rush Limbaugh such a hard time? It`s free speech. He is allowed to say what he wants to say. He is. Free speech.
UNIDENTIFIED ACTOR: Elisabeth, this cat was out there saying he wanted our president to fail.
UNIDENTIFIED ACTRESS: People want people to fail all the time. Every week, I get e-mails from people who want me to fail. I have printed them out. And this is just from people within our office.
(END VIDEO CLIP)
ANDERSON: Now, we weren`t the only ones who noticed this particular sketch. On "The View" today, the co-hosts gave their take on it. Watch this.
(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)
WHOOPI GOLDBERG, CO-HOST, "THE VIEW": Sherri, I have to say it was really nice to finally see you there.
SHERRI SHEPHERD, CO-HOST, "THE VIEW": I know. I`m really glad albeit they had to get my husband - my TV husband who burned up my apartment to do me. But Tracy Morgan did a great job, the wigs and everything. It was funny.
GOLDBERG: He looks kind of good with the lipstick.
SHEPHERD: He got the lipstick and the hair. He`s scary.
GOLDBERG: He looks kind of good.
JOY BEHAR, CO-HOST, "THE VIEW": At least you have a woman doing you.
SHEPHERD: We have men doing us.
GOLDBERG: Yes. But my man looks exactly like me.
BEHAR: No. He doesn`t.
GOLDBERG: Yes, he does. He`s got my glasses. He`s got everything. There I am.
(END VIDEO CLIP)
ANDERSON: Oh, they`ve got a great sense of humor. Sheri made reference to her TV husband, Tracy Morgan. They`re co-stars on "30 Rock." And she also talked about the fire in Tracy`s apartment. Sheri and Tracy are neighbors in New York City and when a fire at his apartment set off sprinklers, her apartment got flooded.
And now, the "SHOWBIZ Lineup." Here`s what is coming up at the bottom of the hour on SHOWBIZ TONIGHT.

TV`s most provocative entertainment news show continues right now.
Welcome back to SHOWBIZ TONIGHT. It is 30 minutes past the hour. I`m Brooke Anderson, coming to you tonight from Hollywood.
And tonight, in an interview you will see only on SHOWBIZ TONIGHT, the judge who presided over the battle for Anna Nicole Smith`s body after her shocking death. Judge Larry Seidlin who, at times, literally wept on the bench.
(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)
SEIDLIN: I hope to God you guys give the kid the right shot.
(END VIDEO CLIP)
ANDERSON: Judge Seidlin joins me tonight from Miami. Just wait until you hear what he has got to say about the brand-new Anna Nicole death mystery.
But first, SHOWBIZ TONIGHT getting you up to speed on all the latest developments. Tonight, there is another brand-new bombshell in the case. Anna Nicole Smith`s shrink, Dr. Khristine Erosevich, turned herself into police today after a warrant was issued for her arrest on Thursday. She is charged with allegedly helping provide Anna Nicole dangerous amounts of prescription drugs in the months leading up to her shocking death from a drug overdose. Erosevich is charged along with Anna Nicole`s doctor, Sandeep Kapoor, and her former lover and attorney Howard K. Stern.
And now, for the first time, Howard K. Stern`s attorney is speaking out about the charges against her client.
With me now tonight from Miami, Judge Larry Seidlin. Judge Seidlin, thanks for being here.
SEIDLIN: My pleasure.
ANDERSON: All right. I can hardly believe it, Judge Seidlin, that it`s been two years since Anna Nicole died. But you know, here we go again. What was your reaction when you heard Howard K. Stern, who fought in your courtroom for that baby, is now charged with helping supply Anna Nicole with those prescription drugs?
SEIDLIN: Well, it`s tough any time someone is charged with a crime. And obviously, in the United States, there is a presumption of innocence. But if this is proven by the California attorney general, it will be difficult - the circumstances of Anna Nicole`s death will have sad implications for the child.
ANDERSON: Yes. Yes, it will be very, very disturbing. And also, I want to mention, Judge Seidlin, in your courtroom, Larry Birkhead, who was battling Stern and turned out to be the father of Anna Nicole`s daughter, Dannielynn, gave some explosive testimony about Stern allegedly administering drugs to Anna Nicole while she was in the hospital. Watch.
(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)
LARRY BIRKHEAD, FATHER OF DANIELYNN: We had a couple of clashes in the hospital room because she and Mr. Stern brought in a duffel bag. And when there wasn`t enough administered through the drips that she was on, they were taken out of the bag and taken on top of the drugs that they were giving at the hospital and thwarting the efforts by the hospital to get her off the medications.
(END VIDEO CLIP)
ANDERSON: Judge Seidlin, how damaging could this be for Howard K. Stern if Larry Birkhead is asked to testify against him?
SEIDLIN: Well, it is, unfortunately, out of the mouth of babes. Howard Stern, in looking back, might have been better off never appearing in my courtroom. And I invited him to the courtroom. I never had him under a subpoena power.
And he came to the courtroom voluntarily. And this testimony, obviously, will be attempted to be presented inside the trial for the charges he is being charged with. And it will be damning against them obviously.
ANDERSON: Yes, it is all pretty explosive. And, Anna Nicole`s drug problem was really no secret. Back in May, 2002, she told Larry King about her addiction to pain pills and to alcohol. Watch this.
(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)
ANNA NICOLE SMITH, ACTRESS: I got addicted to pain pills and also alcohol when my husband was dying and when he died.
LARRY KING, CNN HOST, "LARRY KING LIVE": Where were you treated?
SMITH: I called and put my own self into Betty Ford and got my own self well. But no, did I get any pity from anyone? No.
(END VIDEO CLIP)
ANDERSON: Judge Seidlin, does Anna Nicole`s drug history play into this case and the case against Howard K. Stern and the doctors?
SEIDLIN: Well, let`s face it, the California Attorney General Brown is elected, faces the voters. And when he files charges on a high-profile case like this, he`d better be able to prove the charges.
They took two years fashioning the charges. They`re very carefully crafted. And then there are overt acts attached to those charges. And this is not a suit that is taken off the rack. They came in from Hong Kong to hand-make these suit, to hand-make these charges. And they`re very carefully worded.
ANDERSON: Yes.
SEIDLIN: And his underlings have to believe they can prove this case in a court of law.
ANDERSON: Absolutely. It has to be taken very, very seriously. Not to be taken lightly by anyone at all.
Judge Seidlin, stay right where you are. I want to bring in Lisa Bloom, who is an anchor for legal network, "In Session." Lisa joins me from New York.
Lisa, you were on CNN`s "LARRY KING LIVE" hosted by Joy Behar alongside Howard K. Stern`s attorney, Krista Barth, who was surprised by the charges. Let`s listen to what she said.
(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)
JOY BEHAR, GUEST HOST, "LARRY KING LIVE": Krista, did Howard see this all coming?
KRISTA BARTH, HOWARD K. STERN`S ATTORNEY: No, we did not see this coming. We knew that there was obviously the raid earlier on Dr. Kapoor`s office, but this was something that we honestly never expected.
BEHAR: Well, there are very serious charges. There are so many counts here - eight felonies. Will he plead not guilty? What is he going to do?
BARTH: Well, he will plead not guilty because he is not guilty.
(END VIDEO CLIP)
ANDERSON: Lisa, she says she never saw this coming. They never saw this coming. Were you surprised she said that?
BLOOM: Well, sure, because both of these doctors` offices have been raided over the last six months. That was publicly reported, and Howard K. Stern has been under suspicion since the proceedings in Judge Seidlin`s courtroom, ever since we saw Larry Birkhead say, I saw him bring a duffel bag in the hospital when she was in rehab and give her additional drugs. I mean, come on. This shouldn`t have been a surprise.
ANDERSON: Yes. Judge Seidlin, do you agree that this should not have been any sort of surprise to Howard K. Stern?
SEIDLIN: Well, that attorney was in front of me in my courtroom and she demonstrated a fine ability about the law, how to present herself in a courtroom.
But she is not a criminal lawyer. And I think a criminal lawyer would be smelling what`s coming. And I don`t know whether or not Howard had representation by a criminal lawyer for the past two years.
But on any ship, there are rats. And they tell you what is going on. And I have to believe that he had some information that was coming down the pike. Because when they speak to witnesses, those witnesses then make phone calls.
ANDERSON: So, yes, it seems like someone would have anticipated it. Well our "Showbiz on Call" phone lines have been ringing nonstop since Howard K. Stern was arrested. And I want you to listen to what Dawn from Massachusetts has to say about the Anna Nicole Smith mystery case being reopened.
(BEGIN AUDIO CLIP)
DAWN, CALLER FROM MASSACHUSETTS: We`re glad to see that somebody is going to have to answer for those allegations. I always thought it was similar to the Elvis situation where people stood around and watched while somebody was getting hooked on drugs. And if he loved her so much why didn`t he prevent that or try and help her to come clean? It should have happened a long time ago. And I feel for both of them that nobody stepped forward who loves them or supposedly loved them to help them.
(END AUDIO CLIP)
ANDERSON: Great point. Thank you, Dawn.
Lisa, there are a lot of people out there who feel the same way that no one has really taken the blame for Anna Nicole`s death. Do you agree?
BLOOM: I do. And I was surprised that Krista Barth really didn`t have any defenses to offer when she was on Larry King with me on Friday. I mean, a lot of things can be said in Howard K. Stern`s defense. For example, he is not a doctor. He was a gofer. He went and picked up her dry cleaning, her laundry and yes, her prescriptions.
How was he to know whether they were good for her or bad for her? A lot of times, addicts are weaned off of medication by taking other medications. Maybe he just truly didn`t know. But we didn`t hear any of that. We still haven`t heard any of that from Howard K. Stern or from his camp or even from the doctors. It is very strange to me.
ANDERSON: It is very strange to me as well. And hopefully, as time passes, more clarification will surface.
Judge Larry Seidlin, Lisa Bloom, thank you both for your insight. We`ll leave it there.
BLOOM: Thank you.
SEIDLIN: Thank you.
ANDERSON: All right. Wow, this is totally frightening. Check it out. All-out chaos at the try-out for "America`s Next Top Model." SHOWBIZ TONIGHT is right there. What set off the stampede, next.
Hey, octomom, you just had eight more kids and are getting a new house. What`s next? She is going to Disneyland. Now, I like riding the teacups, too. But isn`t the octomom supposedly broke? Why is she taking trips to not one, but two - that`s right, two amusement parks in one weekend. We`ve got a fired-up panel ready to go on this roller coaster of a story, next.
And Bristol Palin`s ex-fiance, Levi, speaking out for the first time about their breakup. Is there any chance of them getting become together? This is SHOWBIZ TONIGHT on HLN.
And now, the "SHOWBIZ News Ticker" - more stories from the SHOWBIZ TONIGHT newsroom making news right now.
TEXT: "Saturday Night Live`s" Andy Samberg to host MTV Movie Awards on May 31st. "The West Wing" star Ron Silver dies after battling esophageal cancer. He was 62.
(COMMERCIAL BREAK)
ANDERSON: Welcome back to SHOWBIZ TONIGHT. I`m Brooke Anderson in Hollywood.
And tonight, from the octomom in Disneyland to the teenage daddy of Sarah Palin`s daughter speaking out, SHOWBIZ TONIGHT is bringing you more of what`s making big news right now.
Bristol Palin`s former fiance, Levi Johnston is speaking out for the very first time about their broken engagement. Wait until you hear what he says about a possible reunion.
Also, tonight, octomom goes to Disneyland. Just days before the first of her octuplets comes home, brand-new video of Nadya Suleman going goofy at the theme parks.
Joining me tonight in Hollywood, Leslie Marshall, who is a radio talk show host of "The Leslie Marshal Show." And in New York, Cooper Lawrence who is a psychology expert and the author of this terrific book, "The Cult of Celebrity."
All right, ladies. Just 24 hours before the first octuplets are expected home, volunteers, designers, working like crazy to get the octomom`s new home ready for them. So where is the octomom? At Disneyland, of course. Check out these new videos from "Hollywood.tv" of Nadya at Disneyland and another theme park with her kids.
Cooper, is this a good thing, or is it a bad thing?
COOPER LAWRENCE, PSYCHOLOGY EXPERT: Well, you know, in normal circumstances, it`s a good thing to spend time with the existing children when you have a new baby coming home. But when you are the octomom, you have eight about to show up.
I mean, the idea she has all these other people there who are taking care - you know designers and people getting her house ready. Where is she? It`s just that sense of entitlement that other people - we are a community. You guys should pay for my life. Here is where you can send your donation. I will be in Disneyland. You let me know when you are done paying for my life.
ANDERSON: But you`re right. The older children don`t need to be neglected. They need to get out of the house, too, right? But there does need to be some sort of balance.
LESLIE MARSHALL, HOST, "THE LESLIE MARSHALL SHOW": Well, this woman is totally about imbalance, as you know. I do agree that she is just showing her selfish, irresponsible side once again. I love that. But anyway, she does need to pay attention to the kids. I think it is excessive to do both Disneyland and Knott`s Berry Farm in the same day. I mean, they`re really huge parks.
I think it`s great that these kids are getting something instead of just her getting everything. But she does have a whole crew. It`s sort of like trading spaces on crack at her house right now. So it`s OK she is not there.
ANDERSON: And you know, speaking of that, she got a windfall of help from Dr. Phil - a new nursery, interior designers, volunteer nurses from Angels in Waiting. She is still pleading for donations to help her. So Leslie, is this OK? Or should she be just lying low right now?
MARSHALL: Well, she is not going to lie low. She should be taking care of her present children, preparing for other kids to come home. That`s what she should be doing and lying low in that respect. But we know that she`s not going to do this. And you know, the more she is on television, I`m sure, the more cha-ching coming in. Cha-ching to buy the bling.
ANDERSON: She is obviously getting money from somewhere and she is spending it.
MARSHALL: Yes.
ANDERSON: As we know, somebody obviously is not happy with the fact that the octomom is, you know, moving into her new house and into her neighborhood, wrapped toilet paper around the new house last week. But I`ve got to tell you, we have been getting a lot of calls into "Showbiz on Call" like this one from Diane in Nevada saying - leave the octomom alone. Listen to this.
(BEGIN AUDIO CLIP)
DIANE, CALLER FROM NEVADA: Everybody needs to leave that lady alone, OK? Enough is enough. They put toilet paper around her house. She has kids to take care of. She does not need to be terrorized. And whoever did that, they`ve got to be sick, OK?
It`s over. The babies are here. There is nothing you can do about it. You need to have time to think about what is going on in this world instead of worrying about Ms. Octomom.
(END AUDIO CLIP)
ANDERSON: Thank you, Diane.
Cooper, does Diane have a great point there? Is it time to leave the octomom alone or as some people claim, is the octomom just feeding the frenzy with these public appearances?
LAWRENCE: I think it`s time for the octomom to leave us alone. You know, she is the one who keeps coming to us. We are happy to leave her alone. But you know, stop asking for money. Stop appearing on every show that will have you. I don`t think toilet papering some one`s house is terrorizing them necessarily. She is engendering this feeling in us and that should tell her something.
ANDERSON: Yes. It`s just not a good situation for her to be in or anyone else to be in, for us to be in. Oh, mercy.
OK. Now, I do want to move to another big story making news right now. Nineteen-year-old Levi Johnston is speaking out. He was planning to marry Sarah Palin`s 18-year-old daughter Bristol after they had a baby together in December.
Well, in a brand new video seen this morning on "Good Morning America," he talked for the first time about breaking off the engagement. Listen.
(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)
UNIDENTIFIED MALE: The engagement is off?
LEVI JOHNSTON, BRISTOL PALIN`S EX-BOYFRIEND: The engagement is off, yes.
UNIDENTIFIED MALE: And whose idea was that?
JOHNSTON: It was both of ours. It`s just me not being mature enough or something, and having a kid and thinking it could be better, better for us to take a break for a while. I would look to get become together with her. I don`t know what she is thinking. Whatever happens, happens.
(END VIDEO CLIP)
ANDERSON: OK. It almost seemed like these two were forced together by, not only the baby, but the spotlight on politics and teenage pregnancy. Cooper, do you think that they ever really stood a chance?
LAWRENCE: I don`t think they stood a chance. Because statistically, teenage couples tend not to. There`s never any resources for the father. But on the other hand, you know, you hope because the two were being pushed together. They would try to make it work.
But he is right. They`re not mature enough. Part of not being mature is not understanding consequences to your actions. I mean, it is too late. There is a baby there.
But now, he should really step up and he should be a father to that child. We heard that he doesn`t have any pictures. He hasn`t seen the baby. He claims he hasn`t seen the baby. So, I think regardless of where their relationship goes, he still needs to be a father here.
ANDERSON: In end, some feel their breakup may have been the best thing that ever happened. Take a look at what Whoopi Goldberg said this morning on "The View."
GOLDBERG: Realistically, they know whether they`re going to be together. And thank goodness, Levi said, "You know what? I`m not ready. I`m not saying I`m not going to come around and be with my kid because that`s my responsibility. But I`m not ready for this."
ANDERSON: Leslie, very, very quickly - do you think them breaking up could have been the best thing that could have happened right now for them?
MARSHALL: No. I am kind of old-fashioned. And I think if you are mature enough to have the baby, well, then you`ve got to be mature enough to try it, at least for the sake of the baby, best interest of the child.
Do I think it would have lasted? Well, 54 percent of marriages in America fail. They might have been one that failed. But give it a shot for the kid.
ANDERSON: You know what? Very, very good point. Leslie Marshall, Cooper Lawrence, thank you both.
All right. Right now, I am calling out the "SHOWBIZ TONIGHT Truth Squad." Tonight, we`re setting the record straight. Is Madonna about to adopt another child from Malawi? In an interview with the Malawian newspaper, "Nation," Madonna says she would like to give little David Banda a brother or sister. Madonna`s publicist Liz Rosenberg tells SHOWBIZ TONIGHT that, yes, Madonna has been talking about adopting again but nothing is pending. Some have criticized David`s adoption saying that the African country`s government cut corners to let Madonna adopt the boy.
You have got to take a look at this. Absolutely incredible, all-out chaos at the "America`s Next Top Model" tryouts. What caused the scary stampede? SHOWBIZ TONIGHT is right there. This is SHOWBIZ TONIGHT on HLN.
And now, the "SHOWBIZ News Ticker" - more stories from the SHOWBIZ TONIGHT newsroom making news right now.
TEXT: "Race to Witch Mountain" beats "Watchmen" at the weekend box office. Scifi channel is changing its name to "SyFy" starting in June.

ANDERSON: Wow, did you see this? A very scary scene, an all-out stampede at the "America`s Next Top Model" audition in New York.
Welcome back to SHOWBIZ TONIGHT. I`m Brooke Anderson in Hollywood. Tonight, a frightening scene at the "America`s Next Top Model" tryouts. Six people were injured, two of them had to go to the hospital. And three people were arrested in New York on Saturday afternoon.
A reported crowd of 10,000 people packed the streets around the Park Central Hotel in midtown Manhattan, that for a spot on the 13th season on the CW reality show. The model wannabes say the scene was very disorganized from the start and very scary once the stampede started.
(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)
MOSELOE IBARRONDO, SAYS SHE WENT TO THE HOSPITAL: The barricade was right in front, one of the police barricades that are metal. And somebody pushed me in. It literally was back-to-back. You couldn`t breathe. Panic attack the whole time. And I hit my hip up against the barricade and now I have a contusion to my hip and I have to see an orthopedic doctor which what the E.R. just told me.
YELENA MANDENBERG, CAUGHT IN AUDITION STAMPEDE: It was crazy when we got here. My friend and I - we got off at the train station over here. We walked around the entire block and nobody knew what was going on. Some people were facing one direction, some people were facing another direction.
And we were asking people, where is the back of the line? Nobody knew where the back of the line was or the front of the line was. So we stood there for about an hour until everyone just started running to one direction which was this way, so we ran too.
MEKELLAH MATTHIAS, SAYS THERE WAS PANDEMONIUM: They were running around the corner. People were dropping their chairs, their blankets, pushing, cursing. Really crazy - pandemonium actually.
(END VIDEO CLIP)
ANDERSON: There is no official word yet on what caused the chaos but there are reports that somebody yelled "bomb" after seeing a car spewing smoke from under the hood.
OK. On Friday, we asked you to vote on our "SHOWBIZ TONIGHT Question of the Day" - "Jennifer Aniston and John Mayer Split: Are you shocked?"
Totally one sided here. Only five percent of you say yes; 95 percent of you were not shocked in the least. Here are a couple of e-mails.
Kelsie from Washington state says, "I`m not surprised they split because neither one of them can hold onto a relationship too long."
Celia from Florida, not shocked either saying this about Aniston, "She needed a hot guy to attend the Oscars with and he agreed to be available. That was no serious relationship because John is a serial dater and Jen isn`t over Brad yet."
We appreciate your e-mails. Keep them coming. And that is a wrap for SHOWBIZ TONIGHT. Thank you so much for watching. I`m Brooke Anderson in Hollywood.
Don`t forget, you can catch SHOWBIZ TONIGHT on the 11:00s - 11:00 p.m. Eastern, 11:00 Pacific, and in the morning, 11:00 a.m. Eastern on HLN. Take care.
