(MUSIC PLAYING)

Hello. I`m A.J. Hammer, broadcasting tonight and every night from New York City.

And tonight, it is octochaos. In what is one of the strangest twists since the whole saga of the octuplet mother began, the octomom has now fired all of the nurses who were brought in to give all of her kids around- the-clock care for free.

But wait, there is more. You have got to hear the brand-new 911 tape we got our hands on today of a call made from the octomom`s house the night she came home with the first two of her octuplets.

But wait there is more. Did the octomom punk Dr. Phil? So much to say, so much to tell you, because all of this octochaos is making big news right now.

(BEGIN VIDEOTAPE)

HAMMER (voice-over): It almost looked like things might work out for the octomom and her efforts to raise her octuplets plus her six other children by herself.

DR. PHIL MCGRAW, HOST, "DR. PHIL SHOW": Nadya is accepting the generous offer from Angels in Waiting.

HAMMER: Dr. Phil, with help from celebrity attorney Gloria Allred arranged to have a team of nurses from the nonprofit Angels in Waiting provide 24/7 care for all 14 of octomom`s kids free of charge.

MCGRAW: All parties have decided to put aside their differences.

HAMMER: If you thought this ending was too good to be true. It was. That team of free nurses.

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: My goal is to get all your babies mainstreamed in kindergarten.

HAMMER: Octomom has now sent them octopacking. Gloria Allred.

GLORIA ALLRED, ATTORNEY: We want to work with you.

HAMMER: . she is out of there as well. And Dr. Phil`s peace-making attempt.

MCGRAW: This is a generous and relevant offer.

HAMMER: Up in smoke.

UNIDENTIFIED CHILD: Mommy.

HAMMER: SHOWBIZ TONIGHT can tell you, octomom`s home, which as we see in these "Radar Online" clips is already crazy with children and paparazzi.

NADYA SULEMAN, OCTUPLET MOTHER: My head is going to burst with all names now.

HAMMER: It is about to get a lot more hectic. So SHOWBIZ TONIGHT is asking, is firing a team of free child care workers another shockingly bad decision, by someone who has become famous for making them?

BRADLEY JACOBS, SENIOR EDITOR, "US MAGAZINE": It sounds like she has become convinced that the Angels in Waiting are not entirely helpful for her.

HAMMER: Bradley Jacobs of "Us Magazine" tells SHOWBIZ TONIGHT why Suleman had given her free Angels in Waiting nurses the bum`s rush.

JACOBS: Her spokesperson said Nadya became convinced the nannies were spying on her and in fact, filing complaints with Children`s Services.

HAMMER: SHOWBIZ TONIGHT can tell you things were never 100 percent cozy between Suleman and the Angels in Waiting nurses.

ALLRED: Our focus is and always has been on the 14 children.

HAMMER: Group`s attorney Gloria Allred actually did file a complaint with child welfare officials against Suleman last month.

ALLRED: If their concerns are not met and if they have legal grounds to do so, then Children`s Services should remove the infants to foster homes.

HAMMER: That didn`t go over too well with Suleman. Enter Dr. Phil.

MCGRAW: There is an army of specialists here saying, we`d like to help.

HAMMER: He had Suleman, Allred and the Angels in Waiting nurses on his show to hash things out. And Nadya eventually agreed to accept the nurses` help.

SULEMAN: I only care about the well-being of these kids.

HAMMER: But things got worse that wild night last week when Suleman brought the first two octuplets home from the hospital. One of Suleman`s personal nannies actually called 911 to have Allred removed from the house. SHOWBIZ TONIGHT has that 911 call.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

CALLER: Yes, I`d like to have someone removed from the home that I`m at right now.

911 OPERATOR: Who is it?

CALLER: Gloria Allred. Yes, this is the home of Nadya Suleman and she`s just kind of being a nuisance.

911 OPERATOR: And you`ve asked her to leave and she`s refusing?

CALLER: Yes, they`ve asked her to leave already.

HARVEY LEVIN, TMZ: What`s curious about it is how did Gloria Allred get in the house? It`s like knock, knock, knock, "This is Gloria Allred. You don`t open the door, I`ll sue you."

HAMMER: At the time, Allred told SHOWBIZ TONIGHT it was all a big misunderstanding.

ALLRED: Later when Nadya came back, I asked her if she wanted me to stay in the house. And she said absolutely she wanted me to remain in the house. And so that is the story.

HAMMER: But now, the story is that Allred and the Angels in Waiting nurses are history.

JACOBS: Nadya says she will rely on her own nannies, and that`s who she will use solely now.

HAMMER: And this Kaiser Permanente Hospital where the octuplets were born tells SHOWBIZ TONIGHT it has sent its own nurses to Suleman`s home to advise Suleman on caring for the kids.

So it looks like Suleman will still have at least some help with her kids. But with her questionable income and the way she goes through nurses and publicists, the question is how long will her help last?

(END VIDEOTAPE)

So, what does this mean for the octomom, and most importantly, for her 14 kids?

Joining me tonight from Hollywood, Leslie Marshall, host of "The Leslie Marshall Show." In Chicago tonight is Attorney Tamara Holder.

And Tamara, I want to begin with you. I don`t get it, quite frankly. Is the octomom just out of her mind for firing a team of free trained nurses?

TAMARA HOLDER, ATTORNEY: No, I don`t think she is out of her mind. I mean, she has other nurses. She has nurses from Kaiser. It`s not like Angels in Waiting is the only opportunity for help. And I think that`s what we really need to understand here.

The other thing, A.J., is that if there is such a major problem, DCFS should come in and should evaluate the situation. They haven`t done that yet. There has been no court order. And so we need to step back and find out if this is really OK. Is this enough help for her?

HAMMER: Well, it will be interesting to see because I don`t think there is any level of help that would compare to the help being offered by Angels in Waiting that was valued at some $185,000 a month.

But today, we did get a glimpse into why the octomom dumped Angels in Waiting. Listen to what she told "Us Magazine." She said, quote, "Yes it`s true. I released AIW (Angels in Waiting). It was really bad. That`s all I can say. I can`t confirm why in particular. I will be releasing the details soon."

Leslie, how do you think the octomom is possibly going to cope without the around-the-clock support that they were offering, which I said was above and beyond anything she could expect from anywhere else?

LESLIE MARSHALL, HOST, "THE LESLIE MARSHALL SHOW": And also, as you said, A.J., free. And if she says, "Stay tuned, it will be on my blog later." But anyway, now that she wants the attention, right? This is ridiculous. I disagree with Tamara. Kaiser is not going to keep their nurses there. They can`t. I mean, they`re health maintenance organization that has hundreds of thousands of people to care for throughout United States.

These nurses can show her what to do, and perhaps even assist with showing the nannies what to do. But you have to hire somebody.

HAMMER: What is exactly what they are going to do.

MARSHALL: Right, but you have to hire somebody before you kick somebody out. That`s what`s in the best interest of the children. Tell me, A.J., think about this. Even if you don`t have children, how do you change eight sets of diapers, hold eight sets of crying babies, give bottles to eight children simultaneously? It is physically impossible. She needs the help and should have kept them before she released them.

HAMMER: She figured it out, Leslie. Yes. The Octomom`s spokesperson today said part of the problem with Angels in Waiting is that the octomom has always had this tense relationship with them.

And this is what the spokesperson who is also her lawyer is saying, quote, "It started out adversarial and never really resolved itself. Nadya felt that she was being judged wrongfully and she didn`t need it. All it did was make a difficult situation worse."

Now, to your point, Tamara, octomom also says that she believes Angels in Waiting was spying on her to build a complaint against her with Child Services. Does that to you sound far-fetched?

HOLDER: Well, I think spying is a little bit far-fetched. But I mean, you have to understand that Gloria Allred, who is a fabulous attorney and I look up to - she did file a complaint with DCFS. And not only that but, you know, there is the mission statement of Angels in Waiting is to take children out and put them into foster care.

I am not saying that`s what they wanted to do here. But I would be a little freaked out too if there was a complaint filed against me and the people who are out there to help me want foster care as part of their mission statement.

So we really need to understand the psychological needs of the mother and what is the best situation. And it`s not for Gloria Allred to decide or Dr. Phil or anybody else, but the courts. The courts need to decide the best interest of the child.

HAMMER: Well, it`s going to be very interesting to see what happens as we move forward. Because everybody is now wondering what does this mean for the four newborn babies who are still in the hospital.

Leslie, do you think the hospital is going to look at the situation now and perhaps be less likely to release those kids?

MARSHALL: Only if there is a valid complaint, and perhaps more than one by Gloria Allred. I do agree with Tamara that the state has to investigate any complaints, especially when you have four infants who have been in Neo- Natal ICU waiting to come home.

But the hospital will not stop the release of their children if they are healthy and able to go home with the parents. Remember, the state does always look at keeping children with their parents whenever possible.

HAMMER: And we will be watching with laser focus. Leslie Marshall, Tamara Holder, I do appreciate you both being here.

Now, you definitely don`t want to miss this. Was Dr. Phil punked by the octomom? I mean, think about it. He helped set up this whole Angels in Waiting deal. And he showered the octomom with gifts and support when she agreed to work with the group.

And now, she has fired Angels in Waiting. So SHOWBIZ TONIGHT has got to ask - did the octuplet mom take Dr. Phil for a big old ride? That is coming up.

Now, over to you for our SHOWBIZ TONIGHT question of the day. Here is what you need to tell us - Octomom`s Fame: Is it hurting her kids?" Here`s where you go to vote - CNN.com/ShowbizTonight, or E-mail showbiztonight@cnn.com.

Tonight, we have brand-new Britney Spears news you have got to hear. Why is she paying 17 lawyers millions of dollars. That`s right, I said 17. I mean, that`s bigger than a football team. That is like - think about this - two lawyers for each of the octomom`s octuplets, right? You have got to hear why Britney is spending so much money on these guys.

Also new right now, Madonna`s adoption drama. She`s thinking of adopting another kid. But is her love life - you know, the guy she is reportedly hanging out with, hurting her chances of taking home another baby?

Also this.

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: When you`ve got Force M.D.s and the Isley Brothers playing on Air Force One, there is a new sheriff in town, that`s for sure.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

See this, this guy, Tim Edwards is homeless in Houston. But he`s got a brand-new Web site causing a lot of controversy. It`s called, PimpThisBum.com. It gets at least $100 a day. And in return, the people behind the site follow him around with the video camera.

Welcome back to SHOWBIZ TONIGHT. I`m A.J. Hammer in New York.

And now the "SHOWBIZ Obama Watch." Tonight I can tell you that Beyonce, Kanye West, The Pussycat Dolls and more of music`s biggest stars will soon be joining President Obama on a brand-new worldwide tour. They`re all going to be hanging out on Air Force One as part of the official presidential music play list.

This is very cool. And we`ve got an inside look at just who the president and his family will be listening to on board. Here is SHOWBIZ TONIGHT`s Kareen Wynter with "Air Force Rocks."

(BEGIN VIDEOTAPE)

KAREEN WYNTER, CNN CORRESPONDENT: Air Force One will soon be flying high with a new makeover, courtesy of this California production company.

TINA CLARK, DMI MUSIC CEO: They`re not just pleasing the president but, you know, everybody else that may be on there as well.

WYNTER: A tall order for DMI Music CEO, Tina Clark, who`s been programming musical play lists for presidents for more than a decade.

CLARK: One time we got a call from somebody that was with "Air Force One" that said that President Clinton - that he had been listening to the same music, you know, and wanted to know if we could change the play list.

We also, during the Bush administration, got a call from someone senior on Dick Cheney`s staff. He had noticed there was a piece of music that he liked and that it was not listed in the play list.

WYNTER: A play list based on the president`s personal taste with six channels covering various genres of music. The play list is assembled in Dublin, Ireland, encoded and sent to Andrews Air Force Base in Maryland.

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: We`re spinning together the tunes that the programmers gave us.

WYNTER: So what will President Barack Obama and the first family be rocking out to?

(MUSIC PLAYING)

Along with Gavin Rossdale, artists like Beyonce, Kanye West, Pussycat Dolls and Rihanna.

GAVIN ROSSDALE, SINGER: For the president to be enjoying it and then finding something in it is obviously wild.

WYNTER: R & B singer Eric Benet also made the cut.

ERIC BENET, R & B SINGER: If you didn`t know this was a new day and a new dawn when you got Force M.D.s and the Isley Brothers playing on "Air Force One" and Eric Benet, a new sheriff in town, for sure.

WYNTER: A commander-in-chief whose affinity for music will take on new heights and it will all be at his fingertips.

(END VIDEOTAPE)

HAMMER: Pretty cool. That was SHOWBIZ TONIGHT`s Kareen Wynter. And Kareen also tells me that the play list changes every 60 days. But if there is something on there that perhaps the first lady or little Sasha and Malia aren`t too crazy about, they can have it removed right away. And I should hope so.

Well, tonight, Patrick Swayze is speaking out about the tragic and sudden death of Natasha Richardson. Patrick starred, of course, with Natasha in "Waking Up in Reno." That was way back in 2002.

And in a statement to "People" magazine, Swayze says, It is such a great loss to this community to lose an actress and person such as Natasha. Gifts like her don`t come along very often. It`s a rare thing in this industry to have someone with so much talent, beauty and dedication and yet is imbued with such humility.

And I`ve got to tell, you we`re still getting so many calls into our "Showbiz on Call" phone lines about the death of Natasha Richardson. SHOWBIZ TONIGHT viewers are calling in with their emotional words. And we got this call into "Showbiz on Call" from Virginia in California.

(BEGIN AUDIO CLIP)

QUESTION: I am so saddened by the tragedy loss of Natasha Richardson. This is how someone like her leaves a legacy. Such a profound woman. Such a nice family, angelic person, wonderful actress. I will never forget you, Natasha.

(END AUDIO CLIP)

HAMMER: Thank you, Virginia. We also heard from Karen calling into "Showbiz on Call" from Arizona.

(BEGIN AUDIO CLIP)

QUESTION: It has been a week now since the first news of Natasha Richardson. And I`m still grieving about that girl. I am just sick at heart to have lost such a wonderful human being, that the world just lost such a wonderful human being.

Well, just when I think the octomom can`t surprise me anymore, she does. Tonight, brand-new total octochaos. She fires her babies` nurses, you know, the ones that were just given to her for free with a little help from TV`s Dr. Phil.

So tonight, I`ve got to ask, did the octomom trick Dr. Phil? Did she punk him? That`s coming up.

Also, Madonna`s brand-new adoption drama. Now, it is no secret that Madonna is thinking of adopting another baby. But will her love life and the guy she has been reportedly hanging out with totally ruin her chances of getting another kid?

Also this.

CHRISTIAN BALE, ACTOR: I`m going to (EXPLETIVE DELETED) kick your (EXPLETIVE DELETED) ass if you don`t shut up for a second, all right?

(END AUDIO CLIP)

HAMMER: Oh, Christian Bale`s out-of-control, on-set rant. He sounded like he was going to terminate someone himself while filming "Terminator." So are people going to forgive and forget? Well, I guess that depends on how good the movie is. Your first look at "Terminator Salvation." This is SHOWBIZ TONIGHT on HLN.

Now, the "SHOWBIZ News Ticker" - more stories from the SHOWBIZ TONIGHT newsroom making news right now.

LESTER HOLT, FILL-IN FOR MATT LAUER, THE "TODAY" SHOW: I had to show you this with The New York "Daily News." Did you catch up this headline?

ANN CURRY, CO-HOST, "THE TODAY SHOW": I actually did.

HOLT: It says "Matt Goes Splat as `Today` Host Avoids L.I. Deer."

CURRY: Oh, dear.

HOLT: I note the deer has got the Matt-in-the-headlights look.

CURRY: You know I get that look sometimes. I do.

HOLT: Anyway.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

HAMMER: "Today" show`s Lester Holt and Ann Curry having a fun time with Matt Lauer`s deer accident. Their co-worker is doing better tonight. He is recovering from shoulder surgery after he crashed while trying to avoid a deer while riding his bike.

Welcome back to SHOWBIZ TONIGHT. I`m A.J. Hammer in New York. And tonight I`ve got the latest on Matt Lauer`s condition straight from his boss, Jim Bell. The "Today" show`s executive producer revealed how Matt is doing on this morning`s "On Air with Ryan Seacrest."

(BEGIN AUDIO CLIP)

JIM BELL, EXECUTIVE PRODUCER, THE "TODAY" SHOW: As you probably know, golf is an important thing to Matt. He didn`t want to face the prospect of swinging a golf club in pain for the rest of his days.

RYAN SEACREST, HOST, "ON AIR WITH RYAN SEACREST": Really?

BELL: So - yes, separated shoulder can either be - it can heal on its own or in some cases, they will do an operation. I am not an orthopedic surgeon, though willing to play one on the radio.

And he said this was the right call. His doctors told him that. So he - you know, he had a little surgery. As anybody knows who has ever been under the knife, it`s not a lot of fun. And we hope to have him back at some point this week.

SEACREST: So have you spoken to him since the surgery?

BELL: Yes, I spoke to him this morning. He was a little groggy, and you know, shaking it off like the trooper he is. We hope to have him back.

SEACREST: When will he be back, you think?

BELL: I`m hopeful, if not tomorrow, by Thursday or Friday at the latest, so our national nightmare will be over soon.

(END AUDIO CLIP)

HAMMER: I`ve got to say I`m glad to see that Matt is well enough so they can all joke about this. And about that deer, by the way, Bell also says that the "Today" crew is going to get him.

All right, moving on now. Lance Armstrong is riding on even though the seven-time Tour de France champion broke his collarbone in a bicycle race in Spain on Monday. His manager says that`s not going to stop him from competing in the race that he has dominated come July.

Now, Lance might even compete in an Italian race in the beginning of May though he may need surgery. The Tour de France begins July 4th. Lance is definitely staying upbeat about all this.

On his way back home to the States, he even used Twitter to send messages to his fans and he joked, "It`s hard to Tweet left-handed."

And now the SHOWBIZ lineup. Here`s what`s coming up on the bottom of the hour on SHOWBIZ TONIGHT.

The octomom fires her babies` nurses - you know, the ones that Dr. Phil helped her get for free? So did the octomom punk Dr. Phil?

Tonight, Britney Spears spending millions of dollars on - count them - 17 lawyers. Are you kidding me?

And the SHOWBIZ Truth Squad is on the case. Is Julianne Moore really going to play Hillary Clinton in a brand-new movie about the Monica Lewinsky scandal? This is SHOWBIZ TONIGHT on HLN.

And now, the "SHOWBIZ News Ticker" - more stories from the SHOWBIZ TONIGHT newsroom making news right now.

New right now, big Britney Spears developments. Tonight, why are 17 lawyers charging her millions of dollars? Wait, 17 lawyers? Why does Britney even need 17 lawyers?

Plus more stories breaking from the "SHOWBIZ News Ticker."

TVs most provocative entertainment news show continues right now.

(MUSIC)

Welcome back to SHOWBIZ TONIGHT. It is 30 minutes past the hour. I`m A.J. Hammer, broadcasting tonight and every night from New York City.

OK. So tonight, did the octomom punk Dr. Phil? In a stunning move, the octomom disses Dr. Phil`s handout. Brand-new octodrama making news right now.

Octomom, Nadya Suleman has just fired Angels in Waiting. That`s the nursing group that Dr. Phil worked so hard to bring in to help the octomom with child care.

And why did Suleman`s nanny call 911 on the famed attorney who worked with Dr. Phil to broker the deal with that nursing group? Well, tonight, wait for it. SHOWBIZ TONIGHT is playing the dramatic nanny 911 call.

Joining me tonight from Hollywood is Leslie Marshall, radio talk show host of "The Leslie Marshal Show." Also tonight from Chicago, Atty. Tamara Holder.

So Dr. Phil gave Nadya Suleman the world, right? A free home makeover, a free designer nursery, free child care for all 14 of her kids. And now, she turns around, fires the volunteer nurses. Leslie, my head is going to explode. Was Dr. Phil punked into helping the octomom?

MARSHALL: Well, if Ashton was around, then definitely yes. But no, what happened to Dr. Phil is what happened to a lot of us in America. We give and give and give to this woman, even just her attention. She takes and takes and takes and just turns around and is totally irresponsible and selfish.

This is not in the best interest of the children, obviously. This is her being selfish because she is concerned at people spying at her. This is her being paranoid.

Those kids should have properly trained nurses taking care of them especially coming out of Neonatal Intensive Care Unit.

HAMMER: No kidding. And it seemed like we were on to a good thing. It looked like we turned a corner. It seemed like she was appreciative. In fact, watch how octomom reacted when Dr. Phil gave her all that free stuff on the "Dr. Phil Show." Let`s roll that.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

SULEMAN: I was thinking of the like most minimal thing happening like just the cribs being empty and living room and then I was going to go shop for mobiles. You know, like, I was going to get them mobiles. I was thinking in my head differently, you know, if you will take care of this area. New carpet. Like the most modest thing to do.

MCGRAW: Well, we have other plans.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

HAMMER: Well, apparently, octomom had other plans too. Octomom is reportedly hoping to get back on the "Dr. Phil Show" so she can defend herself about the firing. But Tamara, should Dr. Phil move on and just cut the woman loose already?

HOLDER: No. I think Dr. Phil should do what he does best, and that`s psychology, not giving carpet to the house and you know, cribs and baby milk or whatever it is. I mean, you have to understand something. She is not taking and taking and taking.

She has refused the help of Angels in Waiting. She hasn`t taken anything from Dr. Phil or anybody else. I mean, everybody is jumping to conclusions and judging this woman. And she doesn`t even have all the babies home yet.

HAMMER: Yes, but Tamara, Dr. Phil did put this thing together. She wasn`t going to take it. She admitted on his show that this was the right thing to do to put the needs of the children first.

HOLDER: Correct. But if you go to the mission statement of Angels in Waiting, their whole goal is to take babies who are in situations that aren`t probably conducive to their environment and move them into foster home. I mean, she freaked out.

You would freak out too if you found out that people who were coming into your home were taking your baby.

HAMMER: In this case, that is not how it was set up to be. And of course, all this is happening just days after one of Suleman`s nannies called 911 on Gloria Allred.

Of course, Gloria is the attorney who helped introduce the volunteer nurses to Suleman in the first place. And SHOWBIZ TONIGHT obtained that 911 call. You`ve got to listen to a bit of it. Roll that.

(BEGIN AUDIO CLIP)

CALLER: Yes, I`d like to have someone removed from the home that I`m at right now.

911 OPERATOR: Who is it?

CALLER: Gloria Allred.

911 OPERATOR: And you`ve asked her to leave and she`s refusing?

CALLER: Yes, they`ve asked her to leave already.

OPERATOR: Who`s "they asked her" is? Is Nadya there?

CALLER: No, she`s not here yet, but she`s getting ready to come home and she just doesn`t want her in her house when she gets here.

(END AUDIO CLIP)

HAMMER: So the octomom reportedly fired the volunteer nurses claiming that they were spying on her and getting ready to report her to Child Protective Services.

Leslie, doesn`t this just show the kind of chaos that`s going on in that house?

MARSHALL: Yes. And I just want to say she has taken things. How do you think she bought the house? She took money.

I mean, yes, there is chaos. How come she is not home and wasting 911 emergency resources because she wants somebody who is an attorney - who I know is a wonderful person, who cares about children and has been a single mom herself - out of her home. Somebody who, with Dr. Phil, was putting together a deal to hope those children.

I am the mother of two children under two. I`m a working mom. I have help. You need help with 14. You need help that are professionally trained. This is absolutely ridiculous. The amount of chaos is terrible because to have - any mom, knows, the key to being a great mom with multiple children is organization. And there is no organization.

HAMMER: Yes, let`s keep in mind this was all happening with only four of the octuplets home in the house.

MARSHALL: Correct.

HAMMER: Four more are still on the way. Leslie Marshall, Tamara Holder, I thank you both for being here.

All right. So has the octomom`s new-found fame gone straight to her head? Is octomom obsessed with herself and fame? Well, we have the guy who is simply the biggest expert out there on the addiction to fame.

Joining me tonight from Hollywood, Dr. Drew Pinsky, the author of the brand-new and fascinating book, "The Mirror Effect: How Celebrity Narcissism is Seducing America." Dr. Drew, I always appreciate having you on the show.

And I`ve got to ask you this, if the octomom had been around when you were writing your book, would she simply have been the textbook case of someone who is addicted to fame?

DR. DREW PINSKY, AUTHOR, "THE MIRROR EFFECT: HOW CELEBRITY NARCISSISM IS SEDUCING AMERICA": Well, she would have been in the book. There`s no doubt about that. And the idea of "Addicted to Fame" is not something I necessarily adhere to. But I would certainly have commented about her narcissism, about her character pathology and about our preoccupation with people with these kinds of disorders.

I just have been listening to you guys talk for the last five minutes. And at no point did anybody come on and sit back and go, "What is it that creates this kind of a person and this sort of behavior?" It`s well known.

There are personality disorders, something like - they`re in the narcissistic spectrum, like a borderline personality disorder. The word they created - you guys both brought the word up - you and Leslie - the word is chaos.

They`re internally chaotic. They`re externally chaotic. It is a diagnosable condition. It`s predictable what the behaviors are going to be. And absolutely, there has got to be structure provided or somebody will get hurt.

One of the features of these sorts of character illnesses or character traits - let`s say, because again narcissism is the issue here - is the inability to really perceive that other people have feelings, other people exist separate from us.

So 14 children are there to fill my emptiness. Rather for me to be there as a mother to help these other human beings to come into life in a healthy, productive fashion. And that, as Leslie mentioned a few minutes ago, requires tons of support. I, as a triplet father, can tell you that. Tremendous amount of support.

HAMMER: You got nothing from Dr. Phil. It certainly does seem counterintuitive. And we are getting to see all of this chaos going on. And I go back to that word, but we are seeing it firsthand in the octomom`s house when the first two octuplets first came home.

I just want to show you this, Dr. Drew, because Suleman recorded this daily video blog with "Radar Online." Don`t know if you have seen it. Let`s roll a little bit of that.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

SULEMAN: The other four will come home really soon. Two more soon, and another two maybe in a couple weeks. And you can only watch this exclusively on RadarOnline.com.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

HAMMER: OK. So look at that. She`s just home now for the first time with four of her eight octuplets. The fact that she is shooting this video and allowing it to be posted for the world to see, what does that say to you?

PINSKY: Well, there are sort of two reactions to it. One is - it`s what I have been saying, it`s all about me. It`s all about me, Mom. It`s not about the needs of these kids.

On the other hand, she has to do something to come up with the resources. And we have to be prepared to help her with giving her the resources necessary to treat these kids. Somebody is going to get hurt and it is our problem now.

Yes, she is, no doubt, highly aroused. She is highly gratified by all of this - having lots of kids, being in the public eye. Even the chaos is gratifying to her. But that is separate from what are we all going to do. How are we going to understand this? And what are we going to do to help the poor kids?

HAMMER: Well, and that is another question. Because if she is, in fact, addicted to fame, if she clearly has this level of narcissism as you see it going on, is that not something that could potentially rub off on, not just these newborn octuplets as they grow older, but of course, the other six kids that she already has at home?

PINSKY: Oh, yes. It is absolutely a problematic situation for the kids. You know, it`s interesting though the conversation you had before I came on. There was sort of a validation of her paranoia about her kids being taken away.

Look, I know Dr. Charles Sophy, who runs the Los Angeles County Department of Child Protective Services. And he is exclusively about keeping the kids with the family of origin. They will find a way to her with her kids. But it has to be safe. She - I`ll tell you the extent that it really is like dealing with an addict.

HAMMER: And quickly, please.

PINSKY: At a certain point, it`s not up to the addict. She has to take the help, period. That`s it.

HAMMER: Yes. I really appreciate your insight, Dr. Drew. Does sort of paint things in another light for sure. Dr. Drew`s new book called "The Mirror Effect: How Celebrity Narcissism is Seducing America." It is on sale now. We thank Dr. Drew for being here.

Welcome back to SHOWBIZ TONIGHT. I`m A.J. Hammer in New York. Tonight, Britney Spears` mind-boggling legal bills. This is unbelievable and it is one of two stories making big news right now.

We learn today that Britney Spears reportedly spend at least $2.7 million in legal fees in 11 months. But why? Also new right now, as wild as this sounds, are Madonna`s chances of adopting another child in Africa actually in danger tonight because the 50-year-old star is reportedly dating a 22-year-old model?

Joining me in New York, Carolina Bermudez, senior editor with "In Touch Weekly." Also in New York is Ben Widdicombe who is a celebrity editor for StyleList.com. And let us begin with Britney Spears` huge legal bills. The "L.A. Times" reporting Britney racked up more than $2.7 million in a little over a year. That was to pay her legal team and it includes a total of 17 lawyers.

Ben Widdicombe, now much of this has to do with her father taking over as conservator of her estate. So I`m thinking, money well-spent given the mess she was a year ago, no?

BEN WIDDICOMBE, CELEBRITY EDITOR, STYLELIST.COM: Well, there is no question that Britney is in a much better place than she was a year ago. But perhaps that can be superficially attributed to her taking her meds and hiring a personal trainer.

You know, the easiest kind of money to spend is someone else`s money. And I think Britney hasn`t had her own hands on her purse strings for some years now. I think she really has to watch out or she could lose it all.

HAMMER: Yes. And these are some big bills we`re talking about. So of course, we`re wondering, where the heck did that money go?

Let me run down what some of the report says. It went to her divorce and custody dispute with Kevin Federline. That cost $460,000. Spears` civil suit involving her former manager - that ended up costing her $113,000. And remember that trial for driving without a license? That cost her a mere $26,000 in legal fees.

Carolina, over to you. What do you think? Again, looking at where Britney is now versus where she was a little over a year ago - money well spent?

BERMUDEZ: Definitely. Britney was on the road to disaster before. If you looked at her company that she was keeping, the paparazzo boyfriend, Adnan Ghalib, the other manager, Sam Lutfi/friend. They were breaking her down mentally and emotionally.

And they could have gotten to her monetarily much worse than where she is right now. So her father, Jamie, taking over - I think it was a very good thing. And we can obviously see the results now.

HAMMER: Well, Jamie is spending the cash too. He is helping out the legal industry in a big way. Because SHOWBIZ TONIGHT can tell you, Britney`s father, conservator, Jamie Spears has also racked up about $1 million in legal fees.

Ben, we of course need to give Jamie Spears credit for really getting Britney`s life back to normal. But does this seem excessive to you? Because people have legal issues every day that certainly don`t cost this amount of money.

WIDDICOMBE: Sure. Well, I think people are glad that Britney has someone like her father who has her best interests at heart looking after her money. Because as Carolina said, she has had pretty some pretty shady figures in her life recently.

But on the other hand, Jamie has a reputation as being a very average guy. He doesn`t have an MBA. And sadly, Hollywood is littered with stories of stars - big earning stars who have lost all their money through relatives who are looking after their affairs who didn`t really know how to handle these multimillion dollar transactions.

So I think for Britney and her children`s sake, the best thing she can do is look after the money herself when she gets better.

HAMMER: Yes. And just be sure nobody is taking advantage of her just because she is Britney Spears. We have to move on to this next story because this is fascinating to me.

It`s Madonna and her man, specifically her reported 22-year-old boyfriend, and her friendship with Alex Rodriguez.

Now, Madonna adopted her son - we all remember when she adopted David from Malawi in Africa. She has expressed interest in adopting from that region again. But a senior official from Malawi tells the "New York Daily News" this, quote, "The news that she is linked to another woman`s husband and a young man less than half her age makes us question her morals."

All right, Carolina. You are a relationship expert. Do you really think that Madonna`s choice in men could possibly come back to haunt her here?

BERMUDEZ: A.J., absolutely it could. This is an adoption. You are not going to PetSmart and getting a dog. I mean, this is a child that she is going to be adopting here. And it looks like her bad girl ways may have caught up with her.

They do have to investigate and see what kind of a home are they going to be bringing this child into. Her nanny reportedly just quit - David`s nanny. So who would exactly be watching over this child, and what kind of company is she keeping when she is at home with the children? So definitely, they can look into it.

HAMMER: Yes, I could see that. But then again, if it wasn`t Madonna, if this wasn`t front-page news everywhere, nobody would know about this. So Ben, do you really think this is fair?

WIDDICOMBE: You know, I think only in Malawi could the news that Madonna`s kind of a tramp could be breaking in 2009. I mean, her whole career has been based on sexual provocation. And so she can`t be surprised if people in conservative places like Malawi are going to be provoked.

So although I think in the west, we just understand that it`s show business. It`s part of who she is. We don`t judge her. You know, I think that she has made her own bed. And if there are conservative places that now don`t want to give her a child, I think she has done that to herself.

HAMMER: It`s going to be real interesting to see if she changes her ways a result. Carolina Bermudez, Ben Widdicombe, I thank you both very much.

By the way, we reached out to Madonna`s representative today and she told SHOWBIZ TONIGHT that she preferred not to comment on the adoption story.

Well, making news right now, is Julianne Moore set to star as Hillary Clinton in a brand-new biopic? Tonight, we`re firing up the SHOWBIZ Truth Squad. We`ve got to separate fact from fiction here.

Now, according to published reports, Julianne Moore had signed on to play former First Lady Hillary Clinton in a new movie about Bill Clinton`s scandalous affair with Monica Lewinsky.

Well, tonight, SHOWBIZ TONIGHT can tell you that the story is totally false. Yes, Moore`s publicist says the actress was considering a movie about the former president, but she`s not playing the first lady and it`s not about he Lewinsky scandal.

It`s the outrageous caught-on-tape rant that rocked Hollywood.

HAMMER: Oh, it`s so funny and yet so sad at the same time. Who could forget Christian Bale`s shocking and out-of-control rant from the set of his new movie, "Terminator Salvation?"

Welcome back to SHOWBIZ TONIGHT. I`m A.J. Hammer. And I bet a lot of people will forgive and forget Bales` rant if the movie is any good. UNIDENTIFIED MALE: Go, go, go.

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: Who are you?

BALE: John Connor. Something has changed. They also have been busy. You know me. We`ll win the war (INAUDIBLE). You tried to kill my mother. You killed my father.

If we stay the course, we are dead. We are all dead! You will not kill me.

We`re going to lose. This war ends in (INAUDIBLE).
